    After 3 months of cold showers (no hot water), I finally have hot water and hot showers again thanks to the new owners! I have lived here for 16 years and have seen various management companies come and go after the original owner, Mr. Fitch, sold the property. The last management company from southern California was a disaster. The new Management company is local (from Austin) and seems to be professional and efficient. I give them 4 stars for now as they are new but anticipate raising it to 5 stars if they keep up the good work.

    I am very happy to have come across such a great tour today. Getting all the details and allowing me to see the amenities and overall the apartment looks beautiful. Can’t wait to make this my new home soon I want to thank the team Jacquie and Brenda, for allowing me to have an experience out of this tour this is definitely in my top tours of today.

    This apartment complex is a complete joke... maintenance sucks, staff is lazy... the hot water issue here never gets resolved... Sandalwood management didnt accomplish anything taking over this property... DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE....

    Brenda the property manager is very friendly. The new management company is doing a great job! Finally the residents feel like someone is taking their time to hear them and seeing actions not just promises.

    I like living here. The location is great, I love my giant living room with giant windows and hardwood floor (I live in a 2-1). I love the balcony which leads from the bedroom. There is loads of storage/closet space here and its also quiet in my area of the apartments (at the back of the complex) and has a large laundry room with new washers and dryers, which is ultra convenient. The complex to be well-maintained and I have always found the office staff to be helpful and open to suggestions.The rent is very reasonable for this area of town and the only thing missing here at the moment is a pool for the hot summer weekends. The current owners are in the process of building a brand new pool. I think it will be worth the wait. Once the pool is finished and ready to use, I will have everything that I need here at the Joplin, and because I work close by - I imagine Ill stay here for many years to come.

    What a fantastic and warm welcomed I received upon arrival to my scheduled visit , the office team are great and I was able to meet the manager (Brenda) as well, super friendly and all super clean. Highly recommend πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ŒπŸ»

    Dont let the outside discourage you! I moved in a few months ago and love this apartment! The staff is super solid man from the office to the maintenance. When I first walked in I immediately was greeted and 10 minutes after talking to the staff and seeing them with other people I could tell this was a great place to live. Everything here is on point. Go Joplin at Crestview!

    My wife and I lived here for a year. They are very affordable for what they offer. The location is great because its easy to get down Anderson Lane to the Alamo Drafthouse, or downtown to 6th street.The pool is nice and kept up, the apartments are pretty soundproof, as in we never heard from our neighbors. The management is laid back and nice, I never got the impression that they were pretentious or stuffy in the least. That appeals a great deal to me.The parking is decent, its a small complex, but I never had to walk far to my car. Maintenance was very personable, and their response time was fast. I honestly have no complaints about the Austin Garden Apartments.There is a roach problem seen in so many places in that area, however they do have quarterly sweeps and plans for a better pest control.Honestly, if we hadnt needed more than 2 bedrooms, we would still be there.

    SANDY IS AWESOME!! I moved into Austin Gardens last February and Ive had nothing but an awesome experience. This was my very first apartment and I am so blessed that I had Sandy here. Moving out for the first time is nerve wrecking especially since Ive heard some apartment manager horror stories. This was not the case with Sandy. Sure the building is an older complex; but all, if any, issues I had were dealt with immediately. Its a quiet community with an awesome price for the area. I can not say enough how thankful I am to Sandy and how much Ive LOVED living here at Austin Gardens.

    It is a property that looks one way from the outside but from the inside it surprises you, its apartments were modernized, very nice and clean, very good A/C, if you have problems in your apartment with maintenance they try to solve it within 24 hours , happy with the property

    As i move on Im pleased with my time here. Thats the employees fault entirely. The office staff is friendly,energetic,and very helpful. The maintenance team is friendly,knowledgeable,and expedient.If you dont know apartments or Austin, this place has other humans that will be living very closeto you, and North lamar nearly always has traffic. During rush hours you wont take a left out of here unless Jesus had blessed you.

    Austin Gardens is one of those hidden gems you come across now and then. ItΒ΄s an older property that is VERY well kept and taken care of. Amazing rental rates and the BEST staff I have ever come across. If you are considering a new apartment then look at Austin Gardens! You will love it!

    Austin Garden Apartments are awesome!!! Great location at 183 and Lamar. Sandy (Property Manager) took care of all my issues when I moved in and property is very well maintained.
