My family and I have been here for a while now. When we came to take a look at the 3bed2baths we were greeted by a beautiful young lady named Helen! She’s the apartment manager and she went above and beyond our expectations! She was patient with us and so great with our kids! We finally moved in and my first impression of the apartment walking in for the first time was over what I thought it was going to be like. Everything was in order and so clean and wiped down! Spotless! My kids love it here and so do we! Anytime we needed anything at all maintenance in the office we’re always available and how great communication each and every time! We haven’t had any problems so far and I don’t think we will ever have problems living here. Helen is the most gentlest person I have ever met and she’s down to earth! Our maintenance guy has always been on top of everything we have needed! And trust me, I have needed a lot not because of them, but because of what I have accidentally done lol! 😂 I highly recommend these apartments and I highly recommend Helen! I can truly say the office has become apart of our family!! Ohhh and the pool is great!!!!

Been here 8 months and love it here. The maintenance guy is great always comes within 4-8 hrs depending on the issue. The biggest issue is that they switch apartment managers like crazy but Helen as been here for a couple of months and is doing great.

We got a new manager, I believe Jenna Ross is her name, and she is AWESOME! When you call the office, she answers the phone, quickly too. She is so nice, very friendly, PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL, and such a refreshing person to work with. She takes her job very seriously and she gets things done! By far the best apartment manager I’ve ever come in contact with. I wish they could all be this good. I’m really impressed, and I don’t impress that easily. Thanks to The Hamlins for making my life easier and more pleasant.

I lived in the Hamlins for 3 years (ending Nov 23). My children and I loved our apartment, 2nd floor 2×2. It was the most spacious apartment I have lived in, the closets were huge (even kept my dresser in mine with no issues). The pool is great, my friends and family came to swim with the kids and I regularly, my only complaint is that I wish the pool was open longer (it should be open from the beginning of May to the end of September, all of these months are prime swimming in Texas). The staff was always friendly, and generally took care of the few issues that I had quickly. I would love here again, if I go back to apartment living.

I had an awesome experience with Brandy. I came in for information on a 2bedroom. she answered all my questions and smiling the entire time and so happy to help me. not always do you find someone happy to help you like she was. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had. Thank you, Brandy, you rock

Moved in 12/15/2018. Apartment complex complex is well maintained, with the exception of the gates, for which I deducted 1 star. Individual apartment maintenance requests are completed quickly and thoroughly. Would be nice if we had a fenced area to let our dogs off leash to run and play. Not a normal dog park, but a place we could reserve for 30-45 minutes for private use, since my dog doesnt get along with others.GATES havent worked since 3/14/2018. Totally uncalled for.P.S. NEW MANAGER CINDY 4/15/2018***********11/09/2018 UPDATEThe Hamlins is now under new ownership, but the SECURITY GATES still have not worked in over two months. I was hoping new owners would be more proactive about tenant security, but so far I havent seen it. Even when the gates worked they stayed open long enough for 6 vehicles to get by, so I guess they decided we would no longer be a GATED facility.However, I have not experienced ANY of the problems mentioned by another reviewer about trashy places, police, fights in parking lot, etc. He must live somewhere else, not at Cedar Creek. It is a quiet, peaceful place to live.

I have had such a great experience with my move to The Hankins at Cedar Creek. This is a second home for me and Johanna was such a great help offering to look for deliveries when I couldn’t be there and offering to help my move go smoothly any way she could. She answered questions and provided helpful information. The apartment was clean and everything was in working order for my move in. The shower head had a slight leak and someone came to fix it before I moved in. I could not be happier with my experience. The communication is excellent and I feel informed about what goes on regarding the complex.

I have been here a little over a month and am happy with the apartment, the amenities, and all the nice neighbors Ive met. I had an initial issue with the internet company and the office gals were super nice about me using the business facilities for 3 weeks. Shelly helped me get connected to the right person who solved my internet issue and I truly appreciate her help! The maintenance guys are top-notch too. David recently came by to work on a list I made of maintenance issues identified at move-in. He solved all of the issues, was courteous while I was on work calls the entire time, very professional, and kept me informed about some items that needed to ordered. Im glad this is my home now and recommend to anyone who wants to live in a community of hard-working folks (who love their pets as well).

Our apartment was quite nice and our neighbors were courteous. The office manager Jennifer and asst. Cyndi always quite helpful and quick to help with issues or questions that we had. The maintenance team was great as orders were completed in a timely manner and they always documented what was done. I recommend the Hamlins to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

I wanted to give a shout out to Johanna Gleason, the Community manager at The Hamlins. My stay there was a short 6 months but she always knew my name, always smiling, always helpful, prompt in responding to my e-mails, and so much more. It was our transition place when selling our home and buying a new one and I would choose The Hamlins again if needed. The Hamlins was also the best priced comparable apartment complex in the area. If youre looking, go see them!

We have lived in The Hamlins for around 4 years. Love the staff and the apartments.There are not that many rules and none of them are unreasonable. They just make for a better community experience for everyone. (I don’t like stepping in doggie do or being woken up in the middle of the night by loud people!)Any time I have had a service request it has been taken care of immediately.The apartments are spacious and love the all the storage space.All in all we have loved making The Hamlins our home for the last 4 years.

My kids and I absolutely LOVE living at the Hamlins at Cedar Creek Lake Apartments! The property is always so clean, and the maintenance staff is always quick to fix anything we need fixed! The office staff is amazing and always friendly and quick to respond to any issues or questions!! Im so glad to call this place home!!

We just moved in on 5/23/20, We did the virtual leasing process...Johanna was so helpful with all the questions we had and explained everything to us. The virtual leasing process was so easy & overall we had a great experience leasing with the Hamlins. I was so over the moon when I actually saw the inside of our new 2 bedroom 2 bath home; The interior design of the apartment is amazing, the HUGE master bathtub, the balcony & the view.

My home was destroyed in a fire last September. Everything I owned was lost. At 64 years old, me and my two cats had to find someplace to stay until I got a new place. Thats how I ended up at the Hamlins. They were one of the few pet friendly complexes around Cedar Creek Lake. The lady in the office, Jennifer, was wonderful. Helpful and understanding. She understood that I was actually only looking for short term residency, but needed something quickly. As luck would have it, I moved in the same week she showed me the apartment.I live in the back, next to the pasture. Upstairs. From the day I got here, I have been delighted. The building is quiet. The view is great. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The maintenance people are friendly and always helpful.I like living here so much, Ive decided not to move. The Hamlins will be my home from now on. I recommend this apartment complex to everyone.

Management has gotten better since Johanna has came in.! The property looks a lot more clean and kept up with and apartments dont stay dirty and trash for months now! Fence has finally been fixed and as long as their is communication Johanna helps you out! Rent prices arent sky high like they were with previous management! I would definitely recommend this community for anyone looking to live in the country feeling area!

I moved in in April. I have found this not to be an apartment but a community that cares for each other and helps. If you have children you would love it. My children are always outside playing with the neighbors every day! The pool is kept up very well and the management is amazing they keep up with your needs and are always there when you need them. I would recommend this to anyone!!

We have not lived here very long. However I must say that it has been really awesome!!! Johanna and Shelly have been very nice and helpful. Apartment was very clean when we moved in. When I did have a maintenance request it was handled right away and professionally. So happy they are also pet friendly!!

So my girlfriend an I will be moving out to Kemp in November. I got a new job and needed to uproot asap and find a place out there to live. I was having trouble with my current leasing office and the fact that I needed to leave because of a career move. The hamlins staff helped me as elegantly, nicely, and as politely as possible. I know Im not the easiest person to deal with, I tend to hyper obsesse about something until its complete, but both staff members took the upmost amazing care of me and walked me through the entire process. Despite my miscommunications, and constant badgering, they successfully processed my information and found my future home. I can not begin to explain how truly grateful I am for their help. If it wasnt for them my entire plans to secure my future would have fallen through. Thank you, no words can begin to express how truly appreciative, thankful, and blessed I am to have had such wonderful people delicately handle my application process.

I have lived here for 5 years, never intended that long, but here we are. I have to say that, yes there have been issues, but any where you live will have issues. If you put the human element anywhere, there will be issues. As far as the rent goes, I dont think people put it into perspective, its a good $300 less than Dallas, Rockwall, and other surrounding areas. Yes its rural here, and there are people that are less than charming, but some of the things people are saying are just not true. There have been 4 different managers in last 5 years, ok it happens. I have had a good experience here, kids playing outside, very pet friendly, mostly good decent people living here, its been our home for 5 years, and I dont regret it.

Just went to what my friend was saying a few days ago, I just cant get over all you get in your apartment and on the property, shoot the price of rent in Dallas for a place like this would be allot more.
