    I’ve been living at Carling on Frankford for 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier! The 2-bedroom apartment I’m in is spacious, modern, and has everything I need. The natural light pouring in through the large windows is a bonus.The community is quiet, friendly, and well-maintained. The staff is responsive, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand.Overall, I highly recommend Carling on Frankford to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable living experience!

    Updated review: (1-3-25)The Carling on Frankford has improved drastically in the last several months. Now that the hoodlums are gone, its so quiet, clean and looks so much better. Lauren (property manager) is super sweet, knowledgeable, patient & professional. Any concerns that I have, she gets it taken care of immediately. I appreciate that. Also, maintenence is always on point. Keep up the good work! 👍🏽Living here is not too bad.. its quiet and neighbors are friendly and mind their business. Management is okay, seems like there is new management every few months. My only complaint is this reserve/register2park not sure why its such a big deal. Theres plenty of parking. NOW, their charging $4/day for GUEST PARKING now thats ridiculous! Its already tough financially out here. Someone needs to reconsider this fee. Thanks for your time.

    There were a few minor hiccups when I moved in but the maintenance manager Michael and the office staff have been very helpful in getting everything quickly resolved. I moved in Thursday August 11 and I absolutely love my new townhome. Everything is fully upgraded, new stainless steel appliances and it includes a washer and dryer set! It’s very quiet and peaceful here. Kid friendly environment and pet friendly! My kids and I are in love with our new home. Thank you.

    Ever since moving into this place in 2012 I have been happy. There have been ups and downs between the different managements. The newest management so far to me has been the best. From great renewal prices to prompt fixes on repairs. Even when I told them it wasnt a rush, still they came immediately to fix the issue. The upgrades and changes that have been done to my apartment have helped. Being able to speak with the maintenance as well is wonderful. The last maintenance I seemed to only be able to speak with one guy and I do miss him. The new ones listen and explain just as well as he did about what is wrong. Never have I been waved off or anything when watching what they are doing to learn myself. I will keep mentioning this place and the new management to people. Thank for the pleasant and good community.

    Lydia helped me out when I came to visit. Her enthusiasm and transparency about the property really gave me a sense that I can trust The Carling on Frankford with my living space. I felt important despite there being many other things to focus on. My needs for a safe living space were met and my expectations were far exceeded.     Moving in always takes time and patience anywhere we choose to live.I got known the best maintenance manger Domingo. He is friendly and responsible. He gets on any issues and takes care of you right away.This is the most quiet apt I have ever lived.Without looking at my unit, I chose to live here because I fell in love with the kitchen. Even updated luxury mansions on Turtle Creek uptown Dallas do not have a single window in a kitchen. My kitchen is by my balcony has two windows. The closest buildings are 1/2 mile away. I can park right in front of my unit. If you do not like a huge parking garage, this place gives you a fast safe shortest trip from your car to your unit.I appreciate everyone in the office and all the maintenance men who have helped me get situated. Thank you

    Live here from June 2022 to May 2023. initially Management was slow to respond to maintenance request, but eventually they came through. Peaceful neighborhood, never had any issues with fellow tenants. units can be hit or miss in condition, say hello to roaches, they do come and spray every now and then.

    I want to start by saying that I have lived here for 7 years. I do feel like price increases every year are normal when renting. I would renew my seventh lease term here. Although, I am looking for something more inexpensive, and closer to my job. Honestly, I may renew here again, or transfer to a upgraded apartment, but Im unsure right now, and I still have five more months to decide.Okay, so no apartment in a 50 mile radius is perfect. I’m a super patient, and positive person. Maintenance here is probably the best around. My a/c went out last summer, and they ended up, eventually replacing the whole machine outside for it. Any time I ever put in a maintenance request for anything they were right on top of it.Of course these are older apartments. They arent “luxury” or whatever so don’t expect everything to be perfect we have had a lot of things fall apart over the years. Though, any of those things always get fixed. We had a minor flood on thanksgiving one year that our downstairs neighbors actually reported because we were asleep, and had not noticed it. We woke up to maintainability coming to suck up the water, and save the day.Management has gotten a little better. The new assistant manager is awesome. It does unfortunately seem like turnover rate up there in the leasing office has been kind of high in the last couple of years, but hopefully that is something that can remain sustainable now. I know upon renewing this lease term the management did tell me that I could receive a discount for renewal because we had been here so long and decided to renew last minute, because I didn’t know what to do, where to go, or if I was going to transfer units. However unfortunately the former assistant manager had told me that I was not going to be receiving the discount for the amount I had originally been told I was going to get, by the gm, because I did not “get it in writing.” Which is pretty messed up, but overall Im not complaining about it.Which is one reason I am appreciative of the new A.M. because she is sincere, and has answered a lot of our questions, and has gone out of her way to help us out. I think we need more people like her around, and that perhaps she needs to be gm-ing somewhere super soon. Of course thats just my opinion.Moral of the story is, the upgraded units here are nice, and maybe even worth the increase in price to stay here. I love the updates they have done in my apartment. Although, it is not fully upgraded due to the fact that I still inhabited my apartment while said upgrades were taking place. My new neighbors are very loud which is something I’m not used to at all because for 7 years this complex has been nice, homey, and quiet.The windows in the bedroom allow you to hear everything going on outside. You get your occasional drunk loud group of people outside at 2 am, but its not a frequent occurrence. I love it here, but I feel like it might be time to move on to something else. Never had bedbugs or roaches here. Did have a small sugar ant and a fly problem but there are prevention measures you can take to avoid that.Disclaimer if you get a lot of packages sent to your house keep track of them and call customer service if you have packages come up missing. This has happened to me a lot in the past.

    Nina at The Carling on Frankford is who you want to see. She goes above and beyond to make you happy. We went in to the community to look at a apartment for one of my family members. She did everything she could do to get my family member a apartment and If something wasnt exactly correct she made sure to go above and beyond to make sure it was correct. The apartment was completely upgraded all brand new floors and all and if it wasnt completely the way they wanted it they had their people come in and do it the way they wanted it to be done. Very clean place and Professional staff!!! Thank you very much Nina. Everyone go see Nina she will do everything she can to help you. Her Customer Service is top notch.Thank you again Nina

    My sister and I are moving into this complex this weekend. Nancy, in the office, has made this really simple and been a big help navigating our unorthodox financial situations (we both have our own businesses, so our check deposits are adequate, but not as frequent as with traditional jobs).These apartments are very homey, and actually look better in person than they do online! We’re happy to be moving here.

    Mostly good although the added fees each month that we as tenants have no say about like valet trash cans @ $30per month and now something called Rent Plus, etc. The rent charge is never the amount that was agreed upon that signing less than 6mons ago. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of but what’s an old lady to do???????

    This is by far the best place I have ever lived. I have lived here for 2 years, the staff is nice, love the Gym, the pool, maintenance is so friendly and gets things done fast ! just everything, Its very safe, their parking is the best ! Sucks that I will not be renewing my lease because its no longer affordable for me :(

    I moved from Silicon Valley California to the Carling on Frankford Apartment complex Late November 2016.My initial impression of the Apartment complex was excitement and worried. My significant other and I were rushed to find a place to live, after several days of searching we found Carling on Frankford as a perfect match.The Carling on Frankford staff provided me with an exceptional tenant experience. After my first initial meet and greet with management, I was able to move into my unit the following day. (THANK YOU, I was living in a one bedroom apartment with 6 other people and my significant other.)I experienced uncomfortable situations with management throughout my stay, but all was rectified when reported to proper channels. I hold no past transgressions.Throughout my stay. I have seen significant improvements.- Newly paved streets- Brand new Mailboxes- Freshly painted parking spots- Improved repair times- Dog Park grass care has improved from 0 - 100 real quick- Communication from staff has improved- Provided Trash pick up for my lazy butt- Hosted events (I.E. I got a professional photographer to take our first family photo for FREE)- New ManagementCarling on Frankford is improving.The past 6 months of reviews may no longer be relevant to todays Carling on Frankford. That much has changed.Keep in mind. McDonalds has 2.5 star review. I went there every week for my McDouble with Bacon, I love that place, and I havent written a good review. I dont think people that have had good/great experiences here havent taken the time to express how great their experience actually was. Bad reviews are more common, its emotion based, I get it and I understand it. I was there at one point too, and Im not belittling or stating that the grievances stated on these reviews dont matter, absolutely they do. Know how I can tell? The Carling on Frankford read them, and changed the way they operated.If you have the patience, Carling on Frankford could be the best in Carrollton. Give them time, give them a shot.

    The office staff is wonderful and kind, which shows in their willingness to help during the often tedious process of paperwork when moving in a new apartment, and they truly do their best to accommodate your needs and requests as a resident at there. While living at the Carling in Frankford, I had a great view from my patio of a large green field, tree line, creek, and nearby jogging trails. My neighbors were always quiet, and the apartments are conveniently located right next to a CVS and Walgreens. Lowe’s, Walmart, and Kroger’s are nearby as well.

    I justed wanted to make it clear. A lot of residents can down talk a community so much but can never be honest about themselves and what troubles they may caused or always being late on rent. Be for real. The new staff have been very helpful and have done a great job cleaning this place up.

    Hello all that live here & management.. I have been in this complex since 2015 and I will say BY FAR THIS IS THE BEST MANAGMENT AND MATIENANCE team they have had. We have been through several in the last 6 years and this is the best. They are on their game with the service calls/keeping in touch with the residents/making us feel secure and above that helping those of us in need.Big shout out and thank you to the Carling on Frankford Team!!!

    Ive lived at the carling on frankford for 8 years or so now, and this management and staff is by far the best! They are always welcoming and always understanding. They try to accommodate to your needs to the best of their ability, and work orders are done much more quickly.

    Office staff is friendly helpful and they stay professional, they were very patient with my application process as I kept changing my mind and coming back to the office, they were happy to help me each time. I’m pleased with my apartment and the neighborhood as well, I grew up in Carrollton and now have a family I feel calm knowing they are staying here while I’m at work.
