All told, I loved it here. I hate how MUCH I loved it here, because we knew we werent in Austin forever, and honestly leaving would have been easier if these apartments were worse. :)Now, less-than-stellar things first, the apartment complex DOES have a few downsides. Part of why its so affordable is that the buildings ARE a little bit old, and sometimes that shows. Water might be turned off briefly every now and then to fix something in a neighboring apartment, stuff like that.That said, everything about the apartment complex PEOPLE was absolutely fantastic, and more than made up for those minor inconveniences. When something DID go wrong, they were always right on top of it, rain or shine, day or night, whenever there was a problem they reacted accordingly. Harvey and the other maintenance guys do excellent work.Koreen is a treasure and really does everything she can to make this apartment complex feel like a community, with all sorts of events scheduled, pool parties, tax-time drinks in the office (for real!), hot cocoa when its cold out, holiday get-togethers, you name it.The stand out moment to me came just a few months after we moved in. When we were iced over and the whole neighborhood lost power for almost a week, the Arbors got a local food truck to come by, they set up space heaters and gave out hot chocolate, and they paid for the first 50 hot meals that food truck served -- all just to make us feel warm in the cold, while our state government continues to mess up our power grid, our LOCAL apartment management was doing what they could to take care of us.The Arbors at Tallwood were a great place to live. The neighbors were friendly, the staff were amazing, the apartments themselves were very spacious and affordable...my only last REAL complaint is that danged hill, but theres not much they can do about that!

Lived here for 5 years. Koreen has done a great job managing the property. She organizes many events and really brings a sense of community to the residents. Harvey is a kind, experienced maintenance guy who we went through several ice storms and broken pipes with. Always quick to fix any issues. Office staff Lana and Abby are always great. If you have a choice, the Arbors staff stand apart from most Austin apartments, definitely recommend.

Koreen at the front office is phenomenal! She truly cares about all the residents and her love of the property shines through in everything she does! The whole team at the office goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and wanted. The upkeep on the property really makes you feel safe, comfortable and happy to call it your home. Highly recommend making Tallwood your next home too!

Lived here for over a year starting in 2021 and absolutely, hands down, the best staff and some of the prettiest units out there. In particular, Harvey the maintenance manager is AMAZING!!! Cannot sing his praises enough — he’s quick, efficient, and kind. Not to mention during the winter storm in Feb 2023 he seriously stepped to clear trees, branches, pathways, gates — you name it and he cleaned up after the craziness.Also a major shoutout to Koreen. She is considerate, thoughtful, firm, but fair, and absolutely one of the best property managers in almost 10 years of renting that my family has ever experienced.So thankful for the team at Arbors at Tallwood ❤️

I really like the team who runs this complex and theyre the main reason I live here. Its conveniently located to shops, the post office and library in either direction. Also, near freeways which makes it easy to get around. My only concern is that the fees creep once you move in and that I dont like. Otherwise, theres fun community focused events and maintenance handles issues promptly which is nice.

I have lived at The Arbors at Tallwood almost exactly 17 years. Our current management and maintenance team are the best we have ever had. During this past week’s ice storm and loss of power, they were an ever visible presence in the office and out on the property, ensuring the safety and comfort of the residents to the best of their abilities.I want to acknowledge our maintenance team, Harvey and Alex. They worked tirelessly throughout the storm and power outage. I especially want to acknowledge Harvey Martin, the leader of our maintenance team. He is always, especially in times of great need, a reassuring and always cheerful presence.His positive can do attitude gives everyone who lives here a sense of security and well-being that everything will be okay. His work and the work he directs is always done completely and efficiently.We cannot do without him.A special acknowledgment must go to our property manager, Koreen Jones. During the entire ice storm, she remained on duty, providing updated information as soon as it was available and helping the residents in any way she could. She provided updates, suggestions on how to get through the weather event and even arranged for tacos to be delivered to the property for the residents to enjoy, and to provide a sense of calm camaraderie.She succeeded brilliantly. I am grateful to her and Harvey and Alex for everything they did during a very difficult time.Bravo!

Excellent community. Koreen goes above and beyond in making this place an inclusive, welcoming, friendly environment. In the office, Abby has always been there to answer questions. And the maintenance man, Harvey, has never let us down. Highly recommend this spot for anyone, us as a young couple starting our life together loved calling this place home!

This is a great place to live. Koreen has been so great at communicating and planning fun things to bring our community together. Harvey Martin is always so friendly, and he is always first on the scene for property emergencies. They take awesome care of this place.

My initial move-in experience was pretty dreadful. Thanks to God, we were blessed with a fantastic new Leasing Manager right after I moved in, Koreen. If more people lead by her example of kindness and ability to get the job done, what a wonderful world it would be ! Koreen goes above and beyond every day to continually build a strong sense of community and healthy living environment for all tenants; by facilitating a multitude of various activities and events and also ensuring quick and effective responses to all requests. Unlike before - the lights are now on, the office is open, the phones are answered, and visiting the office has become an extremely pleasant experience ! The property is quiet, peaceful and in a very nice neighborhood - thats why its hard to find a vacant unit. If you see one, grab it ! Cant go without a kudos to Harvey, one cool and hardworking human being ! Last, a quick shout out to Skippy - thank you for what you do !

The best part of living here is all the friendly neighbors, Koreen the manager, and Harvey the maintenance HERO. Not everyone in Austin can say their apartment staff genuinely cares about their wellbeing, but Koreen and Harvey have gone above and beyond during this most recent winter storm. Looking forward to living here for many more years.

I moved in to Arbors at Tallwood in August 2020. The manager at the time, Dea, was so friendly, kind, and attentive. Awesome human being in general. I was able to tour the unit and she made the application process, lease agreement, and move in seamless and easy. I was super disappointed when new management took over a few months after I moved in and Dea was no longer at Arbors.The new management has been good thus far though. The folks in the office have been friendly and responsive when I reach out. They send emails and text messages to residents communicating issues and community information regularly which I appreciate. I feel that they handled the craziness of the winter storm this month well. They sent emails out updating residents on the status of water being restored due to broken pipes multiple times daily. They provided emails with community resources for food, water, rental assistance, and other areas. My experience with the current management has been so far, so good.I love this neighborhood so much! It is so great for running and walking. Lots of hills, beautiful trees, deer, friendly people. It feels very safe and peaceful. I run to the Bull Creek trails which is only a little over 2 miles from Arbors at Tallwood. Easy access to Mopac & 183. Lots of pros in this area and not many cons for me. Its quiet, feels safe, management is responsive, maintenance is efficient, but monthly fees creep up every month which is annoying and frustrating to budget. Also, still dont have access to the online portal even after six months of requesting.

My experience at this community has been fairly positive so far. Work orders are done promptly and handled quickly, with professionalism. The staff if ever helpful with any questions I have about my rent and lease, as well as being very good about communicating to the community when something is up with property.

I love this community. Harvey, our rockstar maintenance person, worked tirelessly through this winter ice storm to clear all the fallen tree limbs while Koreen kept us well informed and updated.I am so happy to live here.

Its a very nice and quiet environment they have here…the office staff are so nice and friendly they answer quickly when you have issues,complains or questions.overall it’s 👍..I just had to add this yall I think nice is an understatement to what this community is.it’s lovely really lovely Mrs Corren is wonderful and Mr Harvey,staff overall thank you guys so much.I really appreciate all your efforts :)
