    We have been at Abbey for ~2 months. We are very pleased with our unit, the apartment complex and the staff. Maddie has been very helpful in addressing our various questions. We had a few things that needed to be addressed (small things) and the maintenance staff was very timely. We have used the pool, club house (pool table) and exercise room and all have been great. We look forward to the upcoming months and hopefully be here for a few years.

    I have been a resident here for 8 years and have always had the best experience , today I woke up to a busted water heater my garage was flooded , I called the office and with in 5 mins the maintenance guy was there , looked at it found out it was completely broken and , within another 15 mins I had a new one being put in ..I own multiple rental homes but I choose to stay here because customer service is unmatched.. thanks for reminding me why I choose the abbeys at stone oak

    Excellent staff and customer service! Hands down the best apartment experience I’ve had. From move in, to move out, the office staff were always quick to respond to emails and maintenance requests always completed timely. I even received my security deposit within a week of moving out!! The community is very quiet and having personal garages is a great amenity. The location is also perfect for easy access to 281 and 1604. All in all, if you’re considering calling this place home, you’d be making a great choice!

    Disappointed. I scheduled a tour this past Saturday Nov 25 at 4:00pm. Even went so far as to stop by around noon to confirm that we would be able to view a unit at this time. Arrived at 3:58pm and the office was completely closed despite their hours being until 5:00pm. Will try again seeing as the other reviews are fairly positive but I’m left wondering what type of experience we will have if we move forward with leasing here.**Update: Just stopped by this afternoon and was assisted my Jenny. She was extremely professional and thorough, answering all my questions and concerns. The rates are extremely competitive for the area! Unfortunately there were no units available in my time frame that would face the lovely greenbelt. The property was extremely quiet and clean, if something changes in my timeframe I would happily move here. Thanks again Jenny!If youre new to the Stone Oak area this is definitely a great property for small families. Would definitely recommend.

    I lived at this property for just over two years and moved out recently.It’s a quiet community. The floor plans are spacious. All of the units have a garage, making it less visibly congested.I had very few issues at this property. Whenever maintenance was called, they showed up right away.Kelly has been the most consistent staff member. She’s always professional and quick to respond.

    Weve lived here 2 yrs and it has been a pleasure since day one. Office staff is always super friendly & attentive & Maintenance staff quick to process work requests! This morning they were out giving away Starbucks, muffins, breakfast tacos & juice! What an amazing thing to do for their residents!!! Thank you!!

    I lived there for 12 years, moved out of state 4 years ago but I will forever miss and love this apartment complex. So pretty, made good friends with the maintenance people and office members,nothing bad to say really. All super friendly and helpful. Amazing place to grow up!

    My family and I have lived at the Abbey for over a year. Compared to the surrounding complexes, this one is by far the best. More square footage, attached garages, quiet neighbors, and friendly staff. Maintenance crew, Andrew and Lan, complete service requests the same day they are submitted. The entry gate to the complex was almost always non working due to either a resident or a guest. However, they did install cameras at both the entrance and exit to address this issue. Another issue we’ve had is residents speeding, despite the speed bumps placed throughout. Also, the gym was supposed to be upgraded last year with newer equipment, but that never happened. I’m assuming the money was spent towards having to constantly fix the gate. Overall, it’s a great place to live. We’ve enjoyed our stay here.

    So… I recently moved out of this complex after staying there exactly four years. Back then was a traumatic time in my life with losing my home through divorce, etc. etc. but I’ve finally righted the ship, got a house again blah blah blah. I was drawn to these apartments originally because they’re more like town houses seeing that they all have garages, etc.. While no place is perfect, overall the four years I lived here was pretty damn good. I had some questionable neighbors and at times there were incidents, but nothing out of the ordinary for a complex. The facts are that I never had a maintenance request go more than one day without being addressed, and had very few issues overall. Lastly, I just got my move out statement and they kept zero dollars. That in and of itself is amazing. Yes I had the place professionally cleaned but still many places will still find a way. All of this said I would highly recommend this complex especially for what you get for the price. Yes the fixtures aren’t upgrades and everything is very basic but it’s an apartment. I’d rather pay for the garage and the high ceilings than fancy stoves. (FYI: Bring a microwave)

    Have been here for a year now and I am pleased with the property managers and the dwelling I live in. It is a tad pricey, but if you like a comfortable townhome feel, quiet neighborhood, and great views it makes up for the price. Being so close to the park you do see some occasional bugs, but pest control comes and it clears right up. There are 2 pet parks to let your pups run free safely, and a pool thats usually pretty clean. And garages are a huge bonus, plus they lead right to your unit! Kitchens are a bit dated, but Maintenance is always good about fixing stuff in a timely manner and everyone in the office is so polite. Highly recommend this property compared to others in the area. I believe their management company is smaller and not just some massive were gonna take your money and not fix anything types. Apply here!

    Took a tour guided by Kelly Y. at the Abbey @ Stone Oak and it is a breathtakingly beautiful property. It seems to be well maintained and Kelly was such a sweet and engaging tour guide! She answered questions, walked through the process of applying, etc at this unit is definitely worth the price.

    We lived here for a year and it was really an enjoyable place to live! Maintenance was very quick and knowledgeable with almost every issue we happened to come across. The community was always quiet with no safety concerns. A lot of families live here so kids would be playing often, but never starting any trouble. The garage we had as more than enough space for our vehicle and then some. The only issue we’d see was that the gates would often get damaged, but we didn’t mind since they were more of a burden than anything. Overall this place was very enjoyable and I was happy to call The Abbey home for a year.

    The Abbey at Stone Oak rocks! Ive lived here now for a couple of years and just love my apartment. The property is in a good location even though the construction on highway 281 drives me nuts sometimes. Ive lived in the area for many years now, so the construction is worth the wait. I havent had any serious issues with my apartment since being here. When I do have an issue, maintenance is quick to call me and help me with my issues. The staff has always been pleasant with me and my family. My apartment is nice with three levels. It feels like a townhome. What we liked the best is that our apartment came with an attached 2 car garage!! That was the icing on the cake for us. We also love our neighbors. Our neighbors too have lived here for a long time and love it. If your looking for a new apartment, you should consider this property.

    Im a current resident and have lived at The Abbey at Stone Oak for 2.5 years. The floor plans are designed with more of a house or condo feel. This feature is why I chose the property after relocating from Houston.Lori and her team do a fantastic job in the leasing office. They are friendly and address valid concerns or issues if you have them. Ive had no problems with in-unit maintenance. Its handled promptly by the maintenance crew and their work is clean. There are no issues with property up-keep whether its fire inspections, gymnasium equipment, pool, etc.Ive seen some reviews concerning in-unit noise. As with any apartment living, you will hear your neighbors from time to time. Ive only had one issue with noise since living here and it was quickly resolved by the management team.

    I lived in Abbey from Nov 2015 to June 2017. We left Abbey because of our move to Austin for my wifes job. When we moved from Pennsylvania to Texas in 2015, we chose Abbey through online reviews and recommendation from an apartment finder agent. We moved in without seeing the apartment before signing the lease. Abbey staff chose a beautiful apartment for us in a nice location inside the community. We really liked our stay. Garages are big with good storage area. The maintenance crew is fast in responding and they usually complete the work in a day or two. They are very friendly and courteous. Apartment staff Pam and Kelly are really professional and helpful. Close proximity to schools, groceries and shopping area is a big plus. The only downside I would say is the traffic in 281 S. The apartment is in a location where it is hard to avoid the 281 traffic. I have recommended this to a buddy of mine and he is a happy resident now. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, well-maintained apartment in the stone oak area.

    I recently moved into the Abbey and so far I must say everything is really pleasant. The condition of my unit was impeccable and exceeded my expectations. Aside from the usual wear and tear caused by previous residents, like the inside of the cabinets, my apartment was gorgeously spotless. My neighbors are super friendly and the community grounds are very well kept, which is something I noticed during my initial tour. I like to have quite a bit of company over from time to time, so I need to feel proud of my residence. I was a little weary of the reviews I read about their walls being thin, but I can’t say I’ve had any issues with that. I can hear some muffled noises here and there, but nothing that I can say disturbs my daily functions. This is a gorgeous community with very unique floor plans and for their price, you get a lot more for your buck. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, it’s not everywhere you can get a spacious attached garage with every apartment.

    Love this place. Have lived here for a little over a year. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Love my one bedroom and den. Mine faces the woods in the back. So quiet that I sometimes wonder if I have neighbors at all, by the way I do. The setup of my place has no apartments above me or below me. This place reminds me of a loft. Love it . Many of my friends say it is the coolest apartment and complex they have ever see. Having a big garage is great. Maintenance people are very friendly and quick. I have had no problems with the place, but since the ceilings are high, I cant reach to change the light bulbs, but they do that quickly for you.

    We moved in a month and a half ago and I can already say hands down this is the best place we’ve ever lived and the first place in the 5 years we’ve been married that feels like HOME, not just an apartment. The office staff is wonderful, the maintenance staff is so professional, kind, thorough, and quick to respond to even the smallest of concerns. The apartment is well maintained and spacious. The community is quiet and the grounds are well kept. I love walking my dog in the evening and seeing all the families out, dads grilling, kids on their bikes- it really is a community. And a quiet one! We can hear our neighbors when we are in our room, but nothing white noise can’t fix! I can’t say enough about The Abbey! Thank you, The Abbey, for making us feel at home!

    Im obsessed with our new home! Tiffany did an amazing job with our application. We moved from Houston to San Antonio and she answered all the questions we had. The neighborhood is so quiet and well kept. I love that we have a gym and the pool is amazing, our kids love it. Our apartment is super spacious and its nice that we have our two car garage. I highly recommend these apartments.

    Our family has lived in our apartment since February 2015 and we love it here. While we have had hiccups in the past in regards to our A/C not working, the staff in the office (Kelly & Stephanie) and the maintenance crew (Andrew & Bobby) have fixed those problems. Kudos to you Ladies and Gentlemen!

Maintenance is also very good.The space is very generous and love the attached garages at a very reasonable rate. They offer real value and service with a smile. The location and ambiance around this property is very appealing and Stone Oak Park trails and park is practically next door. I highly recommend.Demi X

    This is one of the best apartment complexes in San Antonio. It gives the feel of being in a townhome but is designed like apartments. Very pleased with maintenance and their ability to handle any issues we had fairly quickly. The entire complex was quiet, never heard neighbors arguing/yelling or making excessive noise. And being able to have a garage to help with storage is a huge plus. I definitely recommend living here slightly expensive but worth it. Only advice is occasionally neighbors upstairs can be noisy when they drop stuff on the floor so if youre a light sleeper it may be best to live on the top floor

    I wanted to give myself time after moving in to rate my Abbey at Stone Oak experience. I have to say from the very first time I came in to check out the property I have had nothing but warm and friendly customer service. Each staff member has been professional and helpful. Denise is a true Rockstar! She listened to my desires for my preferred floorplan, which wasnt available so I decided to select a second option. To my delight, a resident gave their 60 day notice and Denise reached out to let me know giving me the option to choose the floorplan that I originally wanted! I love my new apartment home and my views are amazing! Service calls are handled promptly and the service guys are great as well.

    We moved to the Abbey at Stone Oak from Chicago, last year. The only reason we left was because we brought a new house. The staff at the Abbey was always very responsive, and courteous. Over the past year we submitted 2 service calls. Both were responded to the same day. Because we had a dog, they always gave us sufficient notice before they would enter the apartment. When we moved out, they made the transition very easy. The Abbey is a very kid friendly, and pet friendly community.We would recommend the Abbey to our friends.

    I came in and Denise was super helpful today. Her customer service exceeded my expectations and I just had to post about it. I know I was a little difficult but she never became flustered and she was so patient with me. We were able to find my perfect home and im super excited about it.     For this being my first Townhome. Im more than pleased with the staff being very informative on helping me along the way. Anything and everything Ive needed the staff & maintenance team have always been there to help ! Yes you get the occasional elephant stomping but thats to be expected in a two story layout where the people who live behind you are above you. Regardless Im 8months into my Lease and plan on renewing !! Highly recommend checking these townhomes out !!

    I am not a renter at this location although I am about to sign a contract for the next year. The girls in the office are very helpful and they truely look out for the needs of each renter. If for some reason my contract doesnt get approved I can say they did everything they could to help me get everything together. (It would be something on my end) I would recommend Abbey if your looking for a CLEAN,quiet and friendly office staff...Hopefuly I will be moving in this month..THANK YOUCathy

    It’s been about 2 months since we’ve moved in and this place is great! Staff is super nice, maintenance guys are awesome and get things done within 24 hours, they have community events (Pool Party, Yoga, etc). Best thing is that it’s very quite and peaceful.
