    We feel like were at a resort at the coast (except theres no beach)! The Abbey has exceeded our expectations for apartment life. The apartment itself is well-appointed, with stylish finishes I would have picked myself. We enjoy the amenities: the park-like setting, getting work done with complimentary beverages in the cyber cafe, grilling by the pool, working out frequently in the gym.The parking garage provides convenient covered parking for us and our guests. Although a lot of people have dogs and enjoy the dog park and pet wash, we havent been bothered by barking, or really by much noise at all. Everyone seems courteous, both staff and neighbors. Theres a good vibe here.Finally, the location is fantastic. We enjoy being so close to the nearby park, Costco, and Walmart, and can zip onto 1604 or 281 so quickly. The Abbey at Sonterra is a real gem!

    Best apartment I’ve lived at. The staff has been amazing. Chelsea has been a gem! Extremely professional and always with a smile and great mood. She has always been quickly responsive with any matter needing addressed. Best maintenance staff as well!     This month is our one year anniversary and we love it here. We decided to downsize from our oversized home and look for resort-style accommodations. No regrets- there have been some small bumps in the road, but not enough to send us looking elsewhere. The office staff are awesome and willingly listen to us and address any concerns. Looking forward to more years here! 💕

    Patti has been a tremendous help! I lived here a year and just transferred to another apartment for another year. Patti made the transition easy and helped me every step of the way.The property is beautiful and quiet. They have things monthly for the residents to try or do! We did have a ton of cars broken into last year (mine included) but they now have security driving through the parking structure and have had no incidents since, that I am aware of.Conveniently located and in such a gorgeous little area. Rent is reasonable and comes with so much included.

    We will be renewing again. A major reason is thanks to Bobby and his team for staying on top of maintenance calls, remaining organized and professional. After previous (and poor) experiences with other apartments’ maintenance crews, it is refreshing to know Bobby and his team go above and beyond and care about their work!

    When looking for a new apartment we found The Abbey At Sonterra to be a perfect fit. The staff was welcoming and very helpful in making our moving transition a smooth one.We have only been here for a month but have found it to be a community with friendly neighbors, a wonderful staff, an attentive maintenance team and well kept grounds.It bears giving recognition to Oscar H in the leasing office, Bob and Raul in maintenance, and Patti V the Property Manager. All the aforementioned have made us feel we are an important member of The Abbey community.We recommend if you care about a well kept managed property, responsive maintenance and staff, and taking pride in your residence then The Abbey At Sonterra should be your next home.

    Wonderful place to call home. I cannot say enough about the staff, always assist with any issue, friendly and personable. Any service issue is resolved immediately.     I got the 5 star treatment from Patti and her wonderful staff from beginning to when I moved in. The property is gorgeous, clean and the units are beautiful, modern and spacious.     The staff at Abbey at Sonterra are top notch, welcoming, and professional. Dylinda and Nancy were nothing but smiles, enthusiasm, competence, and readiness to help anyone walking in the door. Not to mention that Nancy saved my ______! My old lease ended 1 day prior to the move-in date at Abbey. I was facing spending one night outside with my possessions. Nancy heard about my situation at the last minute and was able to come through. There was no unplanned urban camping for me thanks to her and the rest of the team. I am so so grateful! THANKS NANCY! 😊

    I have been here for going on 3 years and We have had a great experience here, minus a few hiccups. Trash service is spotty, but has been addressed and no issues in the last month or two. So kudos to staff for addressing it. Gate seems to be broken more than it’s working, but we have had some bad storms. Elevator has the same issue in building one (again storms are to blame), but so far it’s been working great! Staff is super friendly. They have lots of activities, which is fun!

    Really happy with my apartment here at the Abbey at Sonterra. Big shoutout to Alex Bookout, Assistant Manager and my leasing agent! He was endlessly patient with my many questions--as someone who hasnt lived in an apartment for 50+ years, I had a lot of questions! He answered all of them and addressed my concerns. Showed me several different floor plans to help me decide which worked best for me, then showed me several different examples of that plan until I made a decision. Thank you, Alex, for your assistance helping me make this big transition! Very happy with my choice!

    I have been a resident at Abbey at Sonterra for just about a year now. As I approach my lease renewal, I want to take the time to share how amazing my experience here has been. From the application process to the day to day ins and outs of apartment living, the Abbey at Sonterra is truly luxury living. The amenities are top notch and better than any other apartment I’ve experienced!Yes, the leasing office staff has gone through a transition and there is an entire new team, but they remain super responsive and helpful with any and all issues and concerns. Keeping in mind that in a community with this many residents, there will always be issues but having a leasing office that cares and works diligently to correct all concerns is key and truly appreciated!I wish more people took the time to leave positive reviews but unfortunately reviews are mostly utilized for negativity.I am truly excited to renew my lease here at Abbey at Sonterra and even considering transferring from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom! (Which by the way, sounds like an easy process).Bottom line.. I love living at the Abbey at Sonterra!! Stop in and see for yourself!!

    Not fond of all the dog hair lining the hallways. Two of my children and I have pet dander allergies and we go through a lot of Allegra and Zyrtec. It would be nice if this was cleaned regularly.The apartment is pretty to look at but it lacks storage space and the floor plan doesn’t allow for very much furniture without losing access to door and walkways. Virtually the place looked more spacious, so I take the blame for not physically looking before committing.Also not a fan of a parking garage. But logistically it makes sense.On the upside the staff are pretty accommodating and easy to communicate with. They also respond quickly to work orders and questions relating to the property.

Not only is it spacious and well-designed, but it also came impeccably clean and maintained. The amenities provided, from the modern appliances to the updated fixtures, truly enhance the living experience. Moreover, the attention to detail in the maintenance of the common areas reflects the managements dedication to creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents.I also appreciate the convenient location of The Abbey at Sonterra. The proximity to the major highways (281 and 1604) makes commuting a breeze.Furthermore, the sense of community fostered within the Complex is remarkable.     Visited the property today Nov 27, 2023 seeking a 3/2 or a 2/2. Oscar walked me through the property and showed me the model unit. The common areas were all clean and orderly. The hallways were definitely cold (at least on the third floor) but once you enter that unit, definitely stellar! The restrooms and closets on these are huge. Im interested in the community events he said they have monthly. Im still debating on the location as Im more keen to being immediately close to to 281 or 1604 but it isnt a stretch. The prices were competitively set, no issues. Looking forward to making a decision soon. Oh, and thank you Jenny for referring me over, this property definitely most aligns with what Im looking for.

They’re welcoming, informative, helpful and downright nice people! This place has many perks in my opinion. You’ve got a good location for a great price, food options, and highly rated schools around it. The amenities: A community garden, a great fitness center which is nice, clean and well equipped! The pool is a great size and maintained clean. But again the staff overall is friendly and helpful! This was biggest plus for me in comparison to my previous apartments. I highly recommend The Abbey and would suggest you ask for Alex B. He provided me multiple unit options until we found the right one. He’s quick to respond to email and any questions you might have.Thank you!A++++

    I recently moved in and it has been amazing from start to finish! Nancy was the one who assisted me and she was so down to earth, friendly, honest, and funny as well. Her warm personality is honestly the reason why I decided to call Abbey at Sonterra my new home. She assisted me when I had only two weeks to find a new place and she stayed on top of my application and let me bother her with so many questions (patience is her thing)!     We wanted to wait a full 3 months before placing this review. Firstly, you have to know the property is IMMACULATE and for the most part is kept very organized and tidy! The front staff has been beyond accommodating, from our first encounter back in October with Chase to our continued conversations and visits with Jackeyne, Allyson, and Veronica! Our one bedroom I will say is perfect for my wife and I and our one kitty, we even got the option with three walls painted before we moved in! I will say the thing that does take getting used to is the resident portal for payments, because water sewage and the amenity bundle are all on the same portal as the rent it takes a little getting used to as far as reading out what is due and when. Would NOT advise automatic payments unless you are comfortable guessing as the cost for water and sewage does change monthly. Beyond that, the pool has been great the gym is very well kept and we love valet garbage pickup! We also did use the 24 hour maintenance once when the door handle to our washer/dryer closet broke off, they were very discreet and quick with fixing it! Neighborhood is wonderful but beware the school traffic between 7:50-8:30 am and 4:30-5:45pm, it can get a little hectic. Last thing to state is if you work late (like after 8:30pm, would highly recommend getting a premium parking spot as regular parking gets hard to come by. That folks is like here at The Abbey at Sonterra! Would highly recommend you come give us a tour!

    As a first time renter, I was not sure where to begin-- Once I saw the property, I knew it would be an excellent fit for my needs. I set up an appointment with one of the leasing consultants, Alyssa Barrera. She not only took the time to meet with me but also spent a couple of hours walking the property with my family and me as I decided which unit was most fitting. Throughout the selection process, Alyssa so thoroughly walked me through the requirements in which I needed to complete to obtain a lease through The Abbey at Sonterra successfully. I would highly recommend her services if you are looking for more information about the property. She is very polite and informative. As for the community, it speaks for itself... newly built, modern, and dog-friendly!

    Since the moment my husband and I went to tour the apartment, the staff was so welcoming and kind. Alyssa was very helpful in making our moving process stress free. Whenever we needed help or clarification, the staff would respond to our emails and phone calls super quick. We have been living here for 2 weeks now and we love it, the environment is so clean, friendly, peaceful, and dog friendly. We love the amenities especially the dog spa!!! Definitely recommend living here!

    I got toured of this property by Jon, he was literally the sweetest to me & my husband!! The amenities of this place are absolutely beautiful. It was a very good price too for a 2 bedroom. The Abbey was high on our list of decisions on where we wanted to get an apartment. They have their own 4 story parking garage which was a HUGE plus. Although we ended up moving somewhere else, maybe someday we’ll lease with the Abbey. Thank you for the tour Jon. The office staff here is wonderful !!!!

    Ive been here since May of 2021 and love this property. The residents here are great and enjoy getting to know them as time goes by. The Cares Team also started around the same time I did. The Cares Team will host monthly events which allows them to engage with the residents each week. The residents enjoy their events as its a great way to meet your neighbors and fellowship with each other. Residents love it! If you havent figured it out yet, I am the property manager. 😊 If youre in the market for a mid-rise apartment, stop by and see us. We have 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms to choose from.     The abbey at sonterra became our new place of living over a year ago. During a time where we needed to find a new home quick ! We fell in love ! Everyone is incredibly nice, neighbors are nice, the amenities are amazing, it’s just the perfect spot to live !!! The maintenance crew is on top of it ! Come live here !!! They have an amazing dog spa and dog park ! The work out facilities are amazing. The cafe hangout spot is perfect for studying. They have awesome community events that help you find new friends in the community and make you feel apart of community. We love it here! Come check it out !!!

    Where do I begin... I cant brag about this place enough! Not only is the staff AMAZING and beyond helpful, the apartments are breathtaking with modern finishes and appliances. The amenities take the community to a whole new level! I personally love the gym, pet spa, and bark park. Neighbors are all friendly and welcoming. I feel so spoiled by living here especially with the amount of events they have-- theres always a chance to meet new friends! If I could I would give 15 stars.

    I moved to this community specifically because of ownership & the management team. I trust both! I have found management to be patient & quick to communicate when needed. If there is an issue they address it quickly with firm guidelines & compassionate words. It is a very pet friendly community so if you are not a fan of dogs (barking, poop, etc) this may not be your favorite spot, but for us dog owners its amazing!! Grounds are very clean & well maintained, maintenance is prompt & courteous & leasing & management are very helpful!!

    Many of my clients have renewed their leases at The Abbey at Sonterra. I absolutely love this property. It is like living at a resort with amazing amenities. I really like the staff especially Dylinda and Grant.The entire staff delivers outstanding service. I take all my clients, who want the Stone Oak area, to Abbey at Sonterra. There are a lot of new properties in Stone Oak, but none can match the beauty of the apartments and the caring management and staff. In addition, they have an excellent deal. Real value for your money!When a client asks for the Stone Oak area I give them a list of apartments and often escort them to that property simply because I love being on that property. It is the top one on my list and normally it is one and done. They go to that property and they do not want to go anywhere else. .     This complex is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I fell in love with it the minute we saw the models and the property. We especially love the yards, they are so nice and big! The other plus is Denise. She was an absolute gem!! I have NEVER met such a sweetheart! She was very awesome and professional! Her and I got a long like weve been friends for years! She was the main reason I wanted to live here. Sadly, we didnt get to call this home but hopefully next year we will!! =D

    Omg I have to be honest.... this place is Breathtaking!!! It’s completely beautiful and well worth the price for the location and the amazing views! We came in and were blown away!!! Our leasing agent Denise was soooooo amazing we literally went to four different apartments until I found the view I was looking for. She totally went above and beyond! The staff here is also very professional and courteous!!! Needless to say we definitely rented our new spot here and we move in next week and can’t wait to enjoy the beautiful views.     This is a gorgeous property in Stone Oak! A must see!! Beautiful layouts on the 1-3 bedrooms with granite counter tops, wood plank flooring , stainless steel appliances, stand up showers and garden tubs. Not to mention the parking garage and elevators and for your pets, a spa to bathe them 😊 The staff is professional And will go the extra mile . I have been locating for 21 years and this is definitely one of my favorites ❤️

    The girl with the long black hair was super nice, I toured with my friend as their emotional support and was blown away at how nice she was and took her time to show us around. She was so attentive to me and answered my questions even though it wasn’t going to be me purchasing anything.

    Loved this property and really enjoyed my time here. I would recommend this property to anyone in the market. John was always quick and helpful. The maintenance staff was amazing and always took care of orders within 24hrs.

Moving during Covid was so hectic but he made the process so easy!
