    Had to come on here to write a review on how awesome Esmeralda has been with helping my family move in. She is always willing to help with any problems or concerns my family may have, she is so welcoming & you can tell she really cares for the residents here. She’s made this a smooth move in & my family and I are really thankful. If you are looking into moving , move here and talk to Esmeralda she has really been so welcoming & helpful! Its a beautiful property, and my family & I lovee the pool!

    I have lived here for 3 years and I can honestly say that the Esme and Corina are HANDS DOWN the best managers we all could ask for!!! They’re attentive to our needs, they listen when we have concerns, and they show how much they care by having community functions for us….and the prizes are very generous! I got my renewal today and will definitely be signing for another year!

    New management is amazing! Ms. Karina has an open door policy and is always willing to help the residents. I had some issues with my apartment and she made me feel heard, and we were able to fix the issues at hand. Not only that but the maintenance team are all very helpful and kind, very hard working men! Furthermore, the weather has been great to relax in the pool and read a book. I just moved in and so far it’s been great. Highly recommend this place. 😊

    Since Ive moved in its been amazing. Anytime I need something fixed or done in my home it always gets done as quick as possible. Michael who is apart of the maintenance team has handled my work orders and always goes above and beyond making sure anything I need done is handled quickly and he is always so nice striking good conversation instead of awkward silence. The office staff is amazing, always having little gatherings for the community. Definitely very friendly all around and love calling this place home.

    I love the new management team! Esme is great, always on top of it! They are so sweet and give the residences little parties for all the holidays. It makes us all feel like a family and home.

    Just wanted to stop by and say that I really enjoy residing here at the Abbey. The managers and staff are so nice and always been very helpful to my needs since my three years of living here. One day I will buy a house but until then I will live here. I had lost my job a year ago and was worried on how I would pay my rent. Nevertheless, our new maintenance workers are very knowledgeable on fixing what need to be done at a timely manner. I am grateful for Management who introduced me to the flex app and it has helped me out a lot.Also it is a dog friendly place, they host lil events for dog moms like myself. Thank you so much to the staff and management at the abbey !

    We lived here for a while and loved our experience! Unfortunately, we were affected by a fire and had to move but the front office staff, especially the manager and assistant manager, helped us out so much during that time. They saved our animals from the fire and continued to check up on the families affected after the incident. Rehousing families and providing them with resources. Their kindness and assistance helped us through that tough time. To the staff, Angelica and Arionne you guys are literal all stars!

    I had a lovely experience living here! The management and front office staff treated me well and were always friendly and helpful! They responded to any questions that I had in a timely manner. Maintenance was also wonderful and responsive to any maintenance requests that I put in. I loved the area that I was in and the community was wonderful. I definitely recommend living here!

    This review is for the maintenance gentleman Kieth. I recently had to have a new water heater & a couple of other plumbing related things fixed. He did such a good job & was so nice. Thank you so much for handling everything so well & helping me. I have lived here for 5 years & I feel like things always just get patched up & not actually fixed. This was so refreshing to know its solidly fixed.

    The complex has been great to my wife & I over this past year. Weve had no issues & any maintenance needed was done as quick as possible. The Supervisor Alex was kind, courteous, and is obviously a really hard worker. Well more than likely renew our lease here once ours is up.

    I am writing to commend Bobbi, one of the maintenance man, for his exceptional service. He arrived promptly and resolved the issue in under an hour. Bobbi demonstrated a high level of knowledge, explaining what to look for in the future to prevent the problem from recurring. He was also very apologetic for the delay in addressing the issue, and I truly believed he genuinely cared. Bobbi’s professionalism and kindness stood out, and I would rate his service a 10/10. Thanks to him, the issue is now resolved! Thank you so much again Bobbi for everything :)

    After months of looking I had the pleasure of finding this hidden gem! It is in the medical center just far away enough to feel like you live in a neighborhood but close enough you can get basically anywhere you really need in 15 minutes. With beautiful amenities I was sold after Anthony took me on a tour. His knowledge really sold me on the place making both me and my wife feel welcomed and cared for!

    The apartment complex is super dope. The management is super dope they always take care of everything especially the maintenance man. The one that stands out to me. The most is Jose. He always goes above and beyond no matter what I ask him to do if its from helping you throw the trash or helping me with any service request!!!

    Been here about 7 months, and have had a good experience overall. Front office is always very nice and attentive. Maintenance guys are great and efficient, especially Leo, who helped us so much when our cat went missing. I really appreciated him going out of his way to help us look for it and he even caught it himself!

    The Abbey at Medical has been such a nice place to live at. The pool is beautiful. Neighbors are not rowdy. Great landscape upkeep and their maintenance team is always so fast and does a great job. Its a little older than some and there are a few bugs but nothing unmanageable. If it werent for work relocation, we would stay!

    Me and my daughter loved it here at The Abbey Medical we are glad we made this choice. The office staff has been really nice and attending to us and the maintenance is wonderful all of our repairs always get taken care of very friendly people. Its very peaceful here havent had no complaints.

    Went to tour this property and it is beautiful!! The pool was amazing, the manager was so attentive, and they are definitely pet friendly. They loved my dog, specially because her name is Abby!! Lol… I am definitely going to apply here.

    We have been at The Abbey at Medical Center in a 1 bedroom now for almost a year and have just signed by lease for another year. Living here has GREAT!! This is our first time living on the first floor and it has been awesome. WE have had no problems with noisy neighbors or anything. I read several reviews before moving about cars getting broken into. It made me nervous but at the time, we were running out of housing options and just decided to move in here. Within the first month, there was one incident where a car got broken into. That was the only one. But really, what can you expect, these apartments are not gated and its basically at the end of the street. Dont leave valuables in the car, and make sure its locked.Yes, there are lots of stray kitties running around, but hey, they sure are cute! They dont bother anyone. Im sure they are out there killing bugs and mice. So be thankful for them.The maintenance staff here is the BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! There have been several times when I put a maintenance request in before 7 AM when I leave for work, and its fixed by the time I get home. The office staff is extremely helpful, kind, and friendly. There have been several changes in office personnel in under a year, but everyone in there has been great.The landscape is always well maintained and looks great!The only downfall is that there is no longer a drop box to pay rent and they charge a $10 fee to pay online. So we have to rush home to pay rent at the beginning of the month.Other than that, we love the place

    I’ve recently moved in and am so far have been pretty please with the complex ! Sandra has been such a big help also with the process!!! She’s very quick to respond to any concerns I have had ! ! My unit, for the most part since being here, has been pretty exceptional, there are a few things that I have mentioned when moving in that haven’t been fixed yet but I do understand there has been quite a few people moving in at the same time so I’m being patient to have things worked on. Other than that the staff has been super nice and professional and I look forward to spending some time here !

    The Abbey at Medical Center is a great place to live! As a college student moving to a new town on my own, the Abbey staff was amazing! I had toured apartments for two days and The Abbey was immediately in my Top 3! Sandra’s personality was amazing! She took more time to get to know me as a prospective client than any of the other places I viewed! Sandra definitely made it a priority to help me find what unit best suited me! I felt at home when I walked in and spoke with her! As a resident now, I can’t thank the staff enough for accommodating me and even giving me the keys to my apartment earlier than what was originally planned! Sandra was great at communicating with me for any issues that may have surfaced! The area is super quiet and the staff is always a text away! The maintenance staff does a great job of keeping the grounds!

    I recently moved in February 1st 2022. I did have a rodent issue I had to report to the office when I first moved in. I’m happy to say while working with Sandra she did everything in her power to make the situation right. She was great about following up with me and made sure to keep me in the loop of information. The only reason I didn’t have 5 stars is because it did take a while (a little over a week) for maintenance to come out and set up the traps. However, I know and understand these things are a process and I’m sure they had work orders to lined up first so I’m empathetic to that. Again Sandra is great and I only feel comfortable working with her!

    I moved into these apartments recently and the experience I had with the office staff, specifically Yasmeen, has been amazing. She was friendly, helpful, and made sure I knew exactly what steps to take, as well as which apartment best fit my needs. The complex is clean and cute, has dumpsters and recycling bins all throughout (and theyre never overfilled or gross), and the maintenance workers are on point with maintenance requests. Very happy with my experience here so far, would definitely recommend these apartments.

    My experience here has been wonderful! The staff is well organized, maintenance gets the job done fast and right, its a quiet complex for the most part and theres always parking at my building!The apartments are all updated and the hard floors are so easy to keep clean and maintained. They are pet friendly which is perfect for our family and theres no pet rent(there is a pet fee of $300 or $400)!Our two bedroom/two bath is only $1,100 a month (including water, washer and dryer, and amenities) which I think is a fair price!The reason I give it 4 stars is because they do have a problem with residents not picking up after their pets which makes the outside of my building stink which is unpleasant. There is also a stray cat problem. We also have had issues with our mail not getting delivered to us or packages lost in the mail after being told it was delivered. We assumed it was the mail man for our route messing up NOT the apartments fault.Our experience has been very pleasant and full of happiness and we love living here!

    I believe this apartment complex is great. For the price you are paying is above the average. It has two great pools and the landscape is awesome. Is a really quiet place and every single maintenance problem i had was fixed during the same week. The staff is awesome, particularly Taran, she is great and took care of every issue that i had. I cant complain about this place. I would think they need some renovation in the units (appliances, AC Units that are old) but that is why you pay what you pay. Overall a great location and i totally recommend it.

    Its been over 20 years since Ive lived in an apartment. Moved in one a few months prior to finding The Abbey. Oh how I wish Id found Abbey from the beginning. Wouldve saved me so much money, time, and stress. Ive had a few maintenance requestd (normal wear & tear) but Ive never had to wait more than 24 hours for my repairs to be addressed. The staff never made me feel like I was a burden with all of my questions (prior to moving in).I worked with Mr. Darius and he was quite the character. While I stressed he found a way to make light of it to ease my nerves. Maintenance staff; awesome!! Ms. Melissa showed much empathy after learning of my medical issues; priceless. Plan to stay for quite some time!!!

    Beautiful community. Very peaceful. Close to everything we need. The grounds are well kept. The Service here has been second to none! I have been amazed by the attention to detail that our Service Manager, Anthony provides us whenever we place a work order in. When it comes to making sure our service requests get addressed and completed in a timely manner, the Community Manager, Melissa, shows outstanding hospitality through the thoughtful follow up calls and emails. All in all, customer service is very important to my family and I and we wouldnt have it any other way. Great job guys!

    One of the nicer apartment complexes Ive lived in. Most apartments Ive lived in have had their problems, yes, but The Abbey has been decent enough, and more positive considering the other experiences Ive had at complexes in the Medical Center. They do make mistakes, like neglecting to tell you about packages or delayed responses on problems, but maintenance is pretty fast and neighbors arent terrible. There are some structural issues in certain units, but nothing making it unlivable, and theyre willing to address things as needed. Its not overly fancy, but for the price youll get a better-than-average place for San Antonio. They just came under new management and staff, so Im not sure how things are going to be run hereon out, but Ive had few complaints in my time here.

    I love being a resident here! I feel like the staff is really attentive, they listen to you and maintenance has always been quick to respond to any issues Ive had which hasnt been many!     Girlfriend and i were so excited to finally be getting our own place together, but now pretty sad to see we moved into a unit with a SEVERE german roach problem and those are almost impossible to keep rid of and my girlfriend HATES bugs of all kind. The inside of the fridge also has a funky smell that i’m pretty sure is from the roaches.2 stars because Nicole in the office is super nice and helped the move in process go smoothly.I really want to love this place and hope things get better so I can update my review in the near future.Update: They did send pest control the day after i posted the original review and i did some pest control of my own and have gone from seeing 10+ a DAY to maybe 2 or 3 a month. Maintenance has always fixed any issues we had quickly. The place grew on me and i like it here.

    I enjoy living in the unit Im in, its very quiet and unlike everywhere else Ive lived in SA I dont have any issues with my neighbors. If I ever need something the office staff is very helpful. My sink got clogged right before I was going out of town and they sent someone over immediately so I could finish cleaning up before I had to leave.

    I lived here for over 2 years. These are the best appartments I have ever lived at. Neighboords are friendly and respectful, leasing agents are knowledgeable and attentive, and by far the maintenance staff are the best. Maintenance shows up immediately to my appartment to fix any kind of issue I might have, they are courteus and efficient. I am happy to be a resident of The Abbey at Medical Center and I will probably extend my lease again.

    Melissa and Mykey are very professional and thorough. They both follow-up and follow through very well considering their work load. They walk you through the leasing process step by step and dont leave you guessing whats next. I had some issues when I moved in—like some roaches, fleas, and a delay with my washer and dryer—but the management was responsive and worked with me to resolve them. Anthony, in particular, has been amazing—so helpful and friendly!
