    Everyone is super friendly, and the maintenance team is fantastic!! Our maintenance issues are always taken care of the next day, and sometimes even the same day! This community is so quiet, this really feels more like a home and less like a cold apartment complex. And a fireplace in every apartment, that’s sealed the deal for me.

    Being in the multifamily industry myself I’m very picky on where I live. Been at The Abbey for going on 4 years. I love it here. Maintenance is quick. Property landscaping is beautiful. Pool is always refreshing and cleaned. The office staff is very prompt and professional. Your guests have plenty of spots to park close without the fear of being towed. Highly recommend The Abbey!!

    My time here has been nothing short of amazing. The staff is always so helpful and courteous. Mrs Zabrina has always treated me like family and made sure I was very comfortable with the entire move in process. She was very sweet and nice to me when I needed it the most. They are all very sweet. I know I will be here for years to come just like all of the others!!!!!!

    We absolutely LOVE our new apartment! Carol has taken great care of us from the application stage all the way up to getting settled and moved in. Carol has done a fantastic job checking on us and making sure our new home meets our standards. We love our 3 bedroom home and cant believe how much space we have. The outside grounds are just lovely. Never thought Id enjoy walking my dogs so much after moving out of a house. The kids love having friendly neighbors to play with as well. Wonderful apartment with fantastic amenities and friendly office and maintenance staff

    Husband and I had a tour here with Mrs. Carol Williamson. She was amazing! Very funny and upbeat individual! Unfortunately, we did not choose this location. But wanted to give props to Mrs. Carol. Also a very nice complex !

    Zabrina is the greatest leasing agent I have met! She is always so delightful and always smiles when you see her! She knows everybody by name which impresses me with such a large complex and just makes you feel like you are part of the family and valued as a tenant!     I’ve lived here for about 3 months now and I love it. Such a peaceful environment and Zabrina and Carol where absolute godsends for me and my roommate. I was trying to get out of a rough situation and they where so understanding and caring. There’s small things like not a lot of parking (you can pay for covered) and the occasional gate issue but overall best apartment I’ve lived in and it’s very comforting. No bugs, quite, very kind neighbors, spectacular office staff. Makayla and I love you Zabrina and Carol, thank you for everything!

    I have never experienced better customer service than these apartments. Everyone in the office is SO sweet and attentive. Amber is an angel from above and has answered every call and question I had during the application process. I’m so thankful for them and can’t wait to make it my new home!

    I literally love this community so much! I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and it’s incredibly affordable and I never have to stress when making a maintenance request or need help finding something. I get the most help from Sabrina and Carol and they do such an amazing job. Every single maintenance worker is so good to me and I would trust them with everything! I’ve had a lot of disappointment in past homes but I literally have none with the Abbey At Hightower💞💞 Family friendly and so kind and helpful🫶🏻

    In this apartment complex you live very peacefully, they are very well located, it is a very safe area, the apartments are in perfect condition and when you have any request they attend to it sometimes in less than 24 hours. The office staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Zabrina. 100% recommended.

    Update: Ive lived here for a year now and I signed a new lease because I love this community so much! Everyone in the office is so kind and the maintenance team is AMAZING!I recently moved in and it has been a very positive experience so far! Carol was so helpful through the whole moving in process and made it a smooth transition. All the staff is very friendly; from the office to maintenance. So happy I found this community!

    We just signed a 12 month lease and we are very excited to move in! Beautiful neighborhood and Zabrina was amazing through the whole process and so sweet! Probably the first apartment we’ve actually been excited to live inUpdate: We moved in July 24th and we love it here. We definitely plan on renewing our lease, and Zabrina even personally brought us our parking tags OFF THE CLOCK may I add! We appreciate everyone who has helped us get here!

    My son and I lived at AHT for 6 years and enjoyed the time there! Office management were always kind and available. Maintenance was always quick and helpful. Units had plent of space. Parking can be tricky depending on which unit you live in, but they have covered parking available for residents at a cost. Neighbors were always nice as well! Will always suggest this complex to friends and family!

    Ive only lived here since the end of June and its pretty peaceful for the most part... Unless u have a neighbor above u with a Dog sounding like a hurd...lol but for the most part everyone is Friendly! The office staff, in my opinion makes me feel like Im apart of a community family! Each time that Ive called or come in with questions... Miss Zabrina has helped me so so so much when I moved in with uncertainty !! She ALWAYS has Big Smile 😊 youll never know if shes having a bad day or not.. She brothers up my day!! I always feel like Im a nuisance.. But she ALWAYS welcome me and make me feel important!!! Miss Ashley and Miss Carol also are very helpful with Any situation I may have!! The maintenance issues I might have had, witch are small, light bulb, smoke detector, helped me also with the washer connection... Where prompt and efficient!! I Love My New Home/Apartment💛

    We toured the complex back in March and we can’t wait to move in. Very well maintained, and surrounded by a friendly community. Will give a follow up review once we move in.Update: We’ve finally moved in, and honestly I can’t find anything to criticize or complain.     Carol is the best!!! If you happen to be looking for an apartment this place is wonderful. Im retired Army and the peace and quiet here is amazing. You can see rufe snow but dont hear it. There isnt any of the riff raff crime around here. Location is second to none literally everything you could need within 2 miles. This place is like a retirement village and is perfect 75% of the tenants pick up after their pets. Gates work properly and maintenance is very nice and prompt as well. You can just drive around this Bob Ross painting of a complex and enjoy the beautiful trees. You can tell they do their jobs the correct way here.

    Long over due , but recent experience with The Abbey At Hightower I just had to put in a review. I called this place my home for years, absolutely loved living there. I even had a couple family members and friends who lived there before me. I always enjoyed the staff and maintenance specialists were always on time and courteous.A huge shout out of appreciation I want to go to your wonderful Asst Property Manager CAROL WILLIAMSON!! She recently helped gather dates from when I had originally lived there. She was so polite, courteous, and to be honest an overall joy to speak with/ work with. Carol coming from someone who is in the profession of customer service, you exemplify what it means 100+!!! Keep up the wonderful work you do, Im sure this isnt the first nor last you will hear of how wonderful you are.

    I moved in to the Abbey at Hightower about six months ago. I am a senior citizen so I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and I’ve even been a manager for several years. This is the BEST apartment community I have ever lived in. It feels more like a small town or community rather than just apartments. The office staff, maintenance staff, and even my neighbors are so wonderful. This large one bedroom apartment is more like a small house! If you are looking for a place to live, you must come and check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

    The Abbey at Hightower has been a great place to call home. The maintenance team have been fantastic and fixed my issues quickly! Carol in the office is very sweet and helpful, too. Most of my neighbors are nice, though some tend to be noisy (lots of families with children). And it is a wonderful place for bringing pets- no pet rent and the initial fees arent bad! I have almost finished my 1 year lease here and the only reason Im not staying is because I was laid off (COVID-19) so I cant afford it. But it has been a great experience and I would love to stay!As a side note, there has been significant trouble with the front gate staying open for several months. Management is working on it, but if the gated aspect of the community is a selling point, as it was for me, I would check into that further. Also, building 6 has foundational issues, so my interior doors dont fully shut. But thats not really management or maintenances fault, since foundational shifting happens naturally, so Im not taking off a star for that.I only saw one roach the entire time I was here and pest control was very on top of it when I let management know.A neighborhood Walmart, two Dollar Trees, Target, Family Video, and lots of shopping and fast food is conveniently close by.Overall, my stay here has been positive and I will miss it!

    Well Ive been here since 2016 and for the past couple years its been one thing after another with whats going on with this country but all in all it is nice to come home to place that is mine. A good place to live especially when theres not much else to choose from.     Lol I’m actually laughing at the review a few below mine. Wow.This place is the absolute best. I have absolutely no problem speaking my mind and being honest, but I simply have no complaints. I know I sound like I’ve been paid to say this but no. I pay full rent just like everyone else. Let me tell you why this place is the best:The location is A+ seriously, everything is around us.The price is ideal. Super affordable for what you get.Also, the women that work in the office are delightful. I’ve literally never had any problems with them, but then again I treat them with respect just like any decent human being would. Maybe that’s why some people have issues...just a thought. I don’t know if Melissa is still apart of the staff, but if she is, the owners should know she’s the best.They give you full updates on everything going on. As a matter of fact, the reason I’m writing this right now is because I just received my second email in a matter of days about pool repair and I’m just so impressed by the lengths they go through to keep everyone informed.The pool is great, the parking is great, my ac has never gone out, I’ve never seen a single bug in my apartment...the gates are sometimes broken but they’re fixed within hours or at worst, the next day.People need to chill. They want to live at Cesar’s palace for under 1000 a month lol good luck with thatAnyway, whoever is reading this, just know I appreciate everything you do for us! Keep up the good work!

    We love this apartment complex! We went from renting a house in Watauga to this complex because it was that much better! The staff are really friendly and helpful. Weve put in quite a few requests and they always do as much as they can to help whether it be from resealing some broken seals in the bathroom to fixing sockets to getting our network back in place. Even if theyre not sure about it, they always bring someone in to get the job done. Their service is that quick with no questions asked! Their landscape contractors take care of the property pretty well where things are always well trimmed, clean of trash (Some dogs have been leaving surprises from bad owners thatll get caught soon), and green year round. Trash and recycling exists including bags to clean up after pets. The residents here are pretty awesome covering a variety of age groups. The big one is many tenants have been here for a while whether it be saving towards their own house or just because they enjoy it so much that they dont want to move. Weve met folks from all over. Theres a lot of families with kids all the time playing in the pools or making sand castles in the volley ball court. Youll find a lot of dogs here too that are well taken care of and behaved. The pool is great for the little ones. When one kid goes in usually a few other kids see so a bunch of families will show up to all play together. They also have a nice gym. Safety was a big one for us and we have that now. Youll find folks walking their dogs at different hours of the day and night where theyre quite friendly. Cars slow down around residents and take their time. Its a gated community and the covered parking makes quite a difference during large storms. Theres someone from the SWAT force that lives on site too! I think the biggest one here is the home feel that it has. Everyone is relaxed and friendly for the most part. The company really strives to take care of everyone and whats great is they dont see it as a job but see it as sort of a family themselves. We checked several luxury apartments and were approved for them but it didnt have the home feel - Much felt like they were trying to impress but werent home like they were some hotels or something. I highly recommend this place if you get the opportunity to become a resident :)

    Since I haven’t been physically at the complex just yet, both Carol and Chris have been rock stars to help alleviate my anxiety and stress from day 1. Carol has tremendously went through all the A-Z list that I needed to help me overcome the things I needed while on vacation. Chris has been a great support to help me get some of the things that I may have missed. Love this team work of theirs. They’re both warming and welcoming. It was hard to leave back to CA to get ready. Just wanted to stay and let the family go back and pack and drive to TX. Lol. They’re superb.

    Great place very pretty and its gated. big plus is that the elementary school is next door. Maintenance does great professional work no half-fast jobs. The kitchen is up to date. rooms are spacious. and there is always an event going on that the office hosts.

    I lived at the Abbey from 2009-2013 and I thought it was a great place to live. The property was always clean, the service requests were handled promptly, pest control was actually performed (they came inside and sprayed apts twice a year for bugs as preventative), the office staff was always courteous, no problems with parking, and I always felt safe--even left my house keys hanging in the door knob one night. The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of was the stick on tile in the bathroom and kitchen but I believe this was because it just hadnt been updated yet since i lived in it so long while others were being upgraded. My balcony overlooked the volleyball court and it never got too crazy loud. For the most part, all the tenants were great but there were those every now and then that ruined the quiet for a short moment but they got taken care of real quick. If it had not been for the construction traffic and insane amount of time it took me to get to work, I would have loved to stayed there. I recommend this complex to anyone.

    Great complex. Very safe, gated community thats quiet. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and maintenance always fixes/replaces issues within 24 hours. Bedrooms are large sizes as well compared to most complexes.

    **UPDATE**I was contacted today by the Regional Manager, Wanda, and Property Manager, Denise, who both handled the matter very professionally. We have come to a resolution that benefits not only myself and the apartments, but future residents as well. The changes that Abbey Residential are working to implement with the towing company should keep this matter from happening to any other Resident. Thank you Again to Wanda, Denise, and the entire corporate team for handling this matter quickly and in the best interest of the residents.On Saturday night I had my car towed because the tag for my car was sitting under the radio instead on on the dash. I understand that it is supposed to be placed on the rear view mirror, but the only reason it wasnt up there was because earlier in the day I was taking a toll tag off of the vehicle and I forgot to place it back. The towing company charged me $300 to get my car out of the impound! I spoke Debra in the office on Sunday and she understood the issue and said that it was unfair but she was only a temp and that it would have to go through Denise. She left a message for her to call me when she got in on Monday. I had to end up calling the office Monday morning because Denise never called me back. I spoke with Brittany and explained the situation and she had told me that she was new so she did not know how to handle it and that Denise was TOO BUSY to handle this right now and would give me a call later.Around 2:45 I received a call from Tara so I explained the situation to her. She told me that there was nothing they could do because the towing company was the one that charges the fee.I was not happy with the answer I was given so I asked for their corporate number and was told that they did not have it and that Denise would give me a call tomorrow to discuss.My frustration is this. The apartments give the contract to the towing company and allow them to come in and pull cars. And this would be perfectly fine with an illegally parked car but I pay for this spot. I pay for 2 of them. I wasnt doing anything illegal.

    I love the dog park! Its always so pretty and open, my dogs love playing here. The maintenance man is fast and does a good job. The office always answers the phone when I call and helps me with what I need.

    Its pretty nice here. The shining star is Brittany! Shes the best. Its fairly quiet, nice walking areas for dogs. The bad part is the mail system. Not their issue though. The USPS is terrible here.

    Had to call Maintenace last nite. A/C was not cycling. Roland was here in like 15 minutes. He had already inspected the outside unit. This very polite professional figured out the problem in another 15 minutes. My home is still cool the next day.THANKS ROLAND!!

    Ive lived here 9 months and have not experienced many of the issues I read under the more recent reviews concerning management, kids, roaches, etc. Im guessing its all about location on the property but I have enjoyed my stay here thus far. I do agree that the gate is open a lot but that does not make it less safe in my opinion.

    My wife and I have lived at the Abbey at Hightower for 2 years and it is so peaceful.I love it and will most likely stay for some time to come.

    I would give it 10 stars if I could, I lived here for 4 years and I can say that it is a good place to live, they are always improving something, the cleanliness, the maintenance department always responds quickly to problems the staff very friendly, I can simply say I loved living in this place and I recommend it 100.%

    Since we came to live here it has been a very good experience!! We made an excellent choice!!Carol has helped us a lot, always so kind and with a beautiful attitude!! 😃I love living in such a quiet place with good neighbors 😃
