As someone who has been living here for more than 3-4 years. I would like to say that this is a beautiful neighborhood. Granted no apartment complex is perfect. Nothing is “perfect” but I respect a place that tries to do everything they can to serve/help their own community. I would suggest that if you are moving here, please make sure all your cabinets, bathroom, rooms are good to go, no missing holes or un-maintenance issues. Other than that, welcome to the community, please leave the drama away from this area, you will not last long. Kid friendly, pet friendly. This is a family oriented area. At night it’s quiet, in the morning its quiet, a couple beautiful cars and bikes every now and then but its quiet. There is people here who take your trash and throw it away for you, so please be considerate, clean and respectful to them. And if you are the person to have a bunch of big items for trash, we have 2 trash spots. Take it to the back gate, dont leave it at the front. Enjoy your stay, welcome to the community!

My entirely life I have rented property. When I tell you this place will facilitate a home environment, I mean they will treat you like a person in your home not a customer. Any problem rectified, any misunderstanding; corrected. If I am on my way to work and had a question Anthony would write it down and tell me he would get back to me as soon as he had an answer. I can’t tell you the number of times I didn’t even have my seatbelt on driving out of the parking lot that this man was on my phone with the answer and left a professional voicemail with callback information if I had more questions. It is no surprise his ascension to management. I can not imagine a more caring or attentive individual deserving of the spot. I am full of sorrow to be leaving such a loving, quiet community.Thank you for making my time enjoyable.

I had a few work orders put in for minor repairs including light bulb changes. Due to working at home and a hectic meeting schedule, it was difficult on my end to find time for said repairs. Sorrel was more than accommodating with my scheduling issues, polite, professional, and truly kind surrounding the whole experience. Everything was done extremely well on top of it all. Thank you to the staff involved. I am thrilled with my service and, after eight years, continue to enjoy living here!

Great work from the maintenance team and the Sorrel manager Sydney! We had some issues with our AC during one of the hottest summer in Texas and they were able to fix it really quickly. Especially with a newborn at home we are very grateful for their understanding and fast solution to the problem

I have lived here for just over a year and have had a very good overall experience with both the staff and the property. Most of my interactions have been with the front office staff and they have been friendly and helpful every time I go in or have questions. When they say they are going to follow up, they do. I was new to the area and didnt think much of that, its what you would expect but I have since come to find out from friends in the area this is not common, in many places once you have signed a lease they are pretty much done with you. I have been fortunate to have only had a few maintenance issues and all were addressed and resolved within 48 hours, one of which was right before a holiday so I expected them to take a little longer but it still got resolved just as quickly as the others. There was one negative incident but Im choosing not to go into the details as it was resolved quickly and while we agreed to disagree on the circumstances the property managers were professional, respectful and responsive throughout.Based on my personal experience the pros far outweigh the cons and I would recommend renting here.

Absolutely loved my move in process . Very very nice area and growing as well as luxury spacious apartments . Barry was AMAZING from the initial conversation of me inquiring about an unit . He communicated via email and by phone within a timely manner and very professional. I was one of those tenants who wanted to make sure Everything was perfect prior to my move and every time I reached out he was very patient and understanding of my excitement . By far so happy with my move unit was clean on time and perfected ... definitely let Barry take care of youUpdate: Year 3 into 4I am extremely happy to leave another review. I have been on this property 3 years going on 4 and my experience has been the same, although Barry is no longer managing this complex Sydney and her team have been just as great. Over the years there has not been any decline in the upkeeping of the property, maintenance work orders or the quality of residence. I was nervous going into this year because with the market my renewal was A bit high last year but I am grateful that the new option was feasible with my circumstances. I am happy I can stay here yet another year. I look forward to enjoying this property A little longer. My only feedback is more community residence get togethers like we had in the past and ensuring all the gym equipment works but even with that feedback its still 5 stars ! Definitely look into this property!

Application and lease signing process was smooth, all Thanks to Anthony, he helped throughout the process. 2B2B apartment are spacious, ok for small family. Surrounding is green and grounds are clean.They can slightly improve on communication, like a Note on Day 1 that paint might be wet, and a mail one day before fixing carpets on floor above so that tenant is aware.Overall nice community , if you have pets , you will love it , as they have a dog park.Swimming pool is big , fitness freaks will like the gym.

Lived here since 2016. SAFE and awesome environment! I dont ever have to worry about people breaking into my apartment or car because its gated, and neighbors are respectful and quiet. Staff is extremely friendly, office staff Leah and Lauren and maintenance, Rodney and Isaiah are always helpful. Advice is always accurate and prompt response time. Clean property. Every time Im in the office, Lauren is always smiling, approachable, patient, and happy to help, which is a huge improvement from previous management. They take time out no matter how busy to make sure I am taken care of. Ive had some major life events that have occurred and Leah has always been polite and willing to help, and she has really helped put me at ease when I walk into the office stressed out, so we have a great professional relationship. I have definitely referred several friends over to the property, which I am very proud of! I will most certainly be renewing as soon as my lease expires this summer for a two bedroom!!

Update/New review 12/18/2023We have been at this apartment/townhome for about 9yrs now. We love this place. Today we had to have our kitchen sink water head changed out and a new maintenance person by the name of Kea came through. He is fantastic as is the rest of the team. Please recognize him for his exceptional work and customer service.I am continually impressed with this apartment complex. The new management is absolutely wonderful. I have lived here for over 4yrs and we just love it. We usually talk to Joshua at the leasing office. All employees are great. I dare you to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.👍Update 5/21/21: We have now lived here about 6years and new management & ownership has happened again in 2020. The new management is even better than the last and the last was great. That says something about Sorrel. I am again extremely impressed with everyone at this property. Stephanie, Carla, Taran, Joanne and all the leasing office staff have been wonderful. The maintenance staff Fabor, Vik, Jose & Preston are awesome. Vik was the most recent to help us with something and his knowledge & experience are much appreciated as are all the maintenance staff.Please recognize them for this. We all need the encouragement or “at a boy or girl” in life so again please recognize everyone mentioned. The saying “Teamwork makes the dream work” is modeled at this property. I used to work for USAA and know what good service is and would not take the time to review this place if it was not merited.Update: 4/13/22I absolutely love living here. The entire leasing office staff and maintenance are exceptional. The property itself is wonderful.Stephanie the office manager has always taken care of us. Fabor, Preston, Jose & Carlos are always fantastic. We have lived here for close to 8 years now and this is hands down the best management at this location. Ive been living here for years and Id recommend it if anyone is looking for a place in the Frisco area.Ive been to other complexes where the leasing staff sucks and they never answer the phone when a tenant has questions or concerns. Ive been to places where they use a machine operators to weed out phone calls of PAYING RESIDENTS and they dont ever put a human on the phone! This place isnt like that.The office is actually open during the day and they have real people who answer the phone. Special shoutout to Anthony in leasing.Anytime I have questions, concerns, or a maintenance request, I never once feel brushed aside by Anthony.The staff here are reponsive, theyre courteous, they are helpful, and they dont ever make me feel like Im bothering them. That to me is exactly what I look for in an apartment complex.

I am not from here but the leasing consultant Joanne Lopez did an amazing job making me feel right at home. I was enthralled by how clean and quiet everything was. The model apartment was well put together and she was able to answer every question we had and even give us more information that we had not thought of. An example of this great customer service was her telling us about the surrounding shopping centers and how great the school district was. I was overly impressed. Thanks so much Joanne!

UPDATE 2: With new management in place, things are moving at a much faster pace. Lauren (Property Manager) and facilities director have addressed our AC problem by replacing the unit. Additionally they were very helpful with questions about our lease agreement as well. One thing we have noticed is that they are working really hard to improve the most common sense issues that were ignored by the previous management company. The breezeways look cleaner, the car care center has an actual hose now to make it usable, the property looks and feels clean. It feels like the new management cares for the residents.Update: AC has been broken 4th time in the last 10 days. They can’t get it fixed and they don’t respond to emergency calls either. The management has changed and it is no different than previous company. Run away.Horrible service. The maintenance crew never respond and the office staff can’t do much to help. There is always only one person working in the office. They do not have enough staff to support the community. The place itself is decent and could be an amazing community with competent management. Unfortunately this is not the case. Our AC has been broken for last 4 days and there is hardly any response. I would not recommend this place at all....the apartments themselves are just OK. Carpets have no padding at all. If you are management/owner, don’t give a canned response, instead take concrete action to fix the problem. Future wannabe residents, look elsewhere.

I moved in 2 months ago, and love my apartment. Barry did an awesome job facilitating my move. It is a beautiful complex, I feel relatively safe, no major problems thus far. The few quams i have...my upstairs neighbors are soooo inconsiderate, and totally oblivious that they are dwelling above someone. Constantly walking very hard, their kid running constantly--literally, and they play their music loud. I know that is to be expected in apartment living but geesh. And some doggie parents do not pick up after their pets. Other than those few things, its a great complex!

Best Apartment Complex Ive ever lived in! The complex is always super clean and nicely landscaped, and the staff (Ansley, Ashley, Brittany, to name a few) are extremely nice and very helpful as well. They always brighten my day when I go up to the leasing office to get coffee,pick up a package, play pool or shuffleboard, or work on the computer in the awesome business center they have. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anybody who is looking for a new place to live that comes with all kinds of great benefits and amenities!

I love the layout of my two bedroom apt. Everything is nice and new....and clean! They may have had a few hiccups here and there but so far the staff has been attentive to the residents needs and quick to try and solve any issues....at least thats been my experience so far

My boyfriend and I moved in about 2 years ago and have had a good experience. Apartments werent very noisy good sound proofing, pool is always clean and there is always gas in the gas grills (we grill quite frequently, even during the winter months), work out room is nice and everything works. Felt safe, no issues being out at night by myself. Maintenance always came out fairly quickly to resolve problems, which were slim (shower rod was loose and change air filters) and were very friendly. Managament has changed a few times but this most recent set of people all have been very friendly and helpful. We had an unexpected move to Houston due to a job opportunity and needed to break our lease. Kristi at the front desk was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed in order to get packed up in less than a month. Only complaint is the trash pile up, but thats because people dont understand how to use a trash compactor. You send the trash down the chute, not place it right by the door. Sorrell has been a great home to us, if we hadnt moved to Houston we would have renewed our lease and probably stayed there for the next few years.

We put in a service request Sunday morning hoping for repair on Monday, but Favor (spelling?) came to the door at 9:30 Sunday evening and had the a/c going in twenty minutes. I have lived in the Metroplex for over 45 years. During this time, I have lived in various apartments and high rises- many of them rated as 5 star rated. That said, the Sorrel has been the best place I have ever lived. The staff is fantastic!. Yes , there are great amenities, but this would not matter if it were not for the terrific people that manage and operate this community. My family and I are living here until we purchase a home. Although, we will be happy when the day comes that we purchase our new home, we will also be sad that we are leaving a fantastic community that is operated with professionalism, wrapped in kindness and a caring attitude displayed by the entire staff. We are truly blessed to be living in such a fine apartment community.

Ive lived here one year, and I still enjoy SPCR. It has a few issues that I wish were addressed more directly by management, leading to consequences....1) after SEVERAL emails to every tenant regarding the appropriate timing of placing the trash bins out & removing them--there is still non-compliance 2) everyone knows the rules about picking up your dogs poop---there are still tenants that feel the rules do not apply to them 3) some tenants allow their guest to be loud, obnoxious, etc...inconsiderate of peaceful tenants. I am one for minding my own biz, but geesh! As with anywhere you choose to live, theres good and bad. I choose to see the good at SPCR--Its a beautiful complex, the upkeep is well preserved, and I would feel relatively safe if I had to step outside in the middle of the night...for now.

I moved to Sorrel in May and have loved everything about it.I met the property manager once, and the first time I came back Ashley greeted me by my name with a huge smile. Yjose are the things you remember and make you feel great about where you are. The entire staff is always so pleasant and helpful. Always smilling and accomodating, even if Im just there for the greeat cookies.From the pool, to the grounds and especialy my apartment everything is beautiful. My family feels like home here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home.

We really Love this Community and our 2 bed 2 bath apartment .we get many good compliment about how modern and nice is it when our friends visiting useverything is brand new and luxury and plus first 2 month free . But there is an ussue when we put request for maintance .just today Our master toilet was clogged and when I calld to office I was told that this is not emergency as we have 2 bath .and maintance could come anytime later ..and what about trashes I agree with other resident . They left the trash many time. I UPDATED MY REWIEW WHAT ABUOT TOILET CLOGGING . THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AFTER I CALLED THEM AND TAM WAS VERY HELPFULL .THEY FIXED THE ISSUE
