    Ive lived here over a year and am moving out soon. While researching new apartments I realize how negative most reviews are, so I curiously checked out SkyHouses reviews. This is not a review to get me a bonus or discount on future months, this is just a honest review.Skyhouse is fantastic. Anyone who says the staff isnt friendly is either insecure or a liar. Anyone who says it isnt safe is dramatic and/or paranoid. I live here with my fiancé and 4 year old daughter. My daughter loves being able to walk everywhere and getting recognized by the staff and residents. Everyone in the building and surrounding businesses are kind and a true community within Dallas Proper. The elevators do break, but come on... thats not a reason to avoid living here. Its a great place to live whether youre single or have a family. The only reason Im leaving is because of my growing family, and I would definitely recommend living here to anyone who asks.

    I stayed here one night (visiting my brother) and the place was very good. Clean with great amenities (pool in the roof, activity center, gym, free Starbucks coffe) and within walking distance to many places of interest (restaurants, AA arena). The building seemed also very secure and they have a way to keep non invited people away from where theyre not supposed to be (non residents).Unless you are visiting someone there you pretty much dont have access past the building lobby.My brother apartment seemed tiny for what he pays monthly but then again..its Downtown so I guess compared to the prices from other places around is reasonably priced. Place was beautiful.

    I’ve lived in Skyhouse for about 4 months so far and absolutely love it. The concierge guys are phenomenal and know most of the residents by name. Yes, the elevators are slow, especially when people are moving in, but it is typically only on the weekends or right at 5. Otherwise I’ve never had an issue. The pool is gorgeous and the views from my apartment are beautiful. The only complaint is guest parking is always full so it can be challenging to have a spot for guests to park…but it’s a high rise, and I know that they have more guest parking than normal high rises in DFW, so not too much they can do there. I’d recommend Skyhouse. The pros far outweigh the cons.

    If youre looking for a high-rise apartment with the best views and location in Downtown Dallas, SkyHouse is the place to be.I have lived here for 6 months now and it has been a great experience. McKayle Hanley in the leasing office was helpful, clear and concise about everything I would expect on living here and had specific and valid information on rent, utilities, insurance and other fees that would be involved.Brittany Marrs has taken care of all of my maintenance and preference requests, with Alfonso and Mike successfully completing them in less than 24hrs.Concierges; James, John, Tori and Cisco are always attentive, polite, and very helpful.

    I dont even know where to start! The people at this building are awesome! The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are welcome here. They do a great job of putting together community events and social events to get to know all the people in the building. Lots of young professional people in the building if your looking to network and make new friends. Ive been living here for a year now and I love it!!!

    HONEST REVIEW (I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS)I moved into skyhouse July 2021 after packing up my stuff in IL to head to my first real job.Almost 3 years later, my time has come to move out, and Ive toured many apt complexes in the area, I felt compelled to check these reviews again as they almost steered me away from ever living here.Over the years, skyhouse has been nothing short of incredible.- The front desk staff (even tho theres lots of turn over)- The maintenance crew (always quick to help)- Rooftop gym- Rooftop pool- 24/7 concierge- Great community- Unlimited coffee downstairs (lol)- Very walkable and right by the AAC- Right by Chipotle and Zaaps (try it)Only a few things that kinda suck:- When the elevators break down, but that happens everywhere and I live on the bottom floor so doesnt affect me too much.- Parking + guest parkingIf youre on the fence, skyhouse is one of the premier apartment complexes in Victory Park, and for the cost and amenities, you cant beat it.If you made it this far, I hope you can put an ounce of trust in a stranger who puts reviews online, but also the person who would have loved having this review 3 years prior.Do it.Ryan

    I was questioning about moving into Skyhouse downtown Dallas because of the reviews, but I am glad we decided to go look for ourselves. We loved what Wayne showed us, and hes an awesome guy, and everyone we have come in contact with in the leasing office have been wonderful including the concierge. Everything is close by and we Love our apartment and so far its been a wonderful experience! Oh the elevators work and no roaches here!

    We’ve lived here for almost exactly 4 years. Here are the pros and the cons:Pros:-location (tons of new restaurants, grocery store just built across the street, close to Katy trail)-very dog friendly-maintenance guys are awesome, professional, all around great. Things are always fixed quickly and correctly, I trust them to enter our apartment when we’re not home.-Adriana keeps the lobby and public areas sparkling at all times-the front desk staff are second to none (Ruben, Aaron, Rose, Sam, etc.)-probably one of the coolest pools in all of Dallas-extremely efficient appliances and insulation. We pay roughly ~$28/month for electricityCons:-the elevators are broken CONSTANTLY. To the extent that you need to schedule extra time to leave 75% of the time because the elevator may take an additional 5-10 minutes. The garage elevators also often have issues which exacerbates the problem.-the leasing office is not fantastic about communication. There’s been a high rate of turnover over the years and it’s not uncommon to never receive a response or resolution if you contact them.For us, the price and the pros have far outweighed the cons over the years. The elevator situation sucks, but an extra 5-10 minutes is offset by planning and it’s never killed us.

    I’ve lived here for over 2 years now and just resigned again until next summer. Absolutely love it, best views in the city with floor to ceiling windows in the living and bed room. Front office is awesome and concierge service is great. It’s nice to have good people running the building. We love Jonathan! He is very helpful and funny. If I could change one thing, I would like to buy our unit instead of renting. Hoping this is an option in the future as I bet I’m not the only one who would invest in this property.

    I have lived at the Skyhouse, Dallas since beginning of 2016 and my experience has been impeccable. The office staff are extremely helpful and always go the extra mile to resolve your issues and cater to your needs. The concierge folks always make you feel welcome after a long day at work. The maintenance team is also equally great and turn around within a few hours to resolve any issues you encounter. Overall, this place definitely deserve 5 stars from my end. Also, the place is great in terms of the value you are getting for your dollar in this part of the town with its splendid views and great amenities such as a rooftop pool, decent gym, free fitness classes (occasionally) and a great view of downtown dallas skyline. This has been worth every dollar I have spent over the past year and a half! Thanks to the Skyhouse team for an amazing experience!

    I have lived at Skyhouse for the last year and am not hesitating to renew. The management staff, concierges, and residents are more like family. We are always doing stuff either on our roof overlooking downtown or around the city. Ive never had that anywhere else Ive lived. If the people arent enough the building and its views are nice as well. Ive only had two minor issues with the apt (regular maintenance) and they were handled within 24 hours each time. So just do it already !

    We’ve been living at SkyHouse Dallas since right after they opened in early 2015. And we love it!We just made the decision to renew our lease for another year, and the decision was not a difficult one. The reason it was an easy choice was all about the customer service, and our recent interactions with staff drove that point home once again.Gee Ferreira, leasing agent, still treats us like the outstanding concierge he was, when we first moved in. He’s always offered help and suggestions to us, as well as any of our family members and friends, who have come to visit. He has a great sense of “community” and is committed to making the SkyHouse experience the best it can be.Also worthy of mention is the maintenance staff. Earlier this week, Mike helped us resolve an issue quickly, with minimal disruption, and always displays a friendly attitude to go along with his extensive knowledge of what’s required to make things right. And that’s the way it is, with all our maintenance “team” members.And finally, there’s the concierge staff. Always greets us with a friendly word, pleasant demeanor, and willing to help us and our guests however they can. The ones we deal with the most, Ruben, Blesson, Michelle, and Rose make walking in the door a real “coming home” experience.To sum it up, I’d say “a building is a building,” but it’s good people who make this building “home.”Mary Lou & Art Tedeschi

    We had the opportunity to receive a tour from Wayne and I must say he exceeded my expectations! In addition to the property being such a beautiful sight Wayne is also very knowledgeable and clearly compassionate about his role. His amazing customer service made us feel like we were given an opportunity to join a family oriented community.

    I used to love this place but its all smoke and mirrors. The parking situation is very difficult compared to all the other high rises Ive lived in before. The management tries to tow your car every chance they get. 2-3 weeks ago my car was parked on the 7th floor garage and was broken into, they completely trashed my entire car.... they stole my sons laptop present for Christmas, one of my 2 cell phones and even my government passport out of the gated garage. I had to buy my son a second laptop for Christmas. I dont understand why someone would steal a passport? Now Im worried about my identity being stolen. And Im just really hurt, frustrated and dont feel safe or like the management company cares or is nice to residents at all. They honest to God care more about the 1 hour parking being completely empty at all times than anything else.

    Love this place!!! Great concierge staff (shoutout to Ruben, Raul, Robert, Blesson and Michelle)!! They always welcome you in, know you by name and floor number and help with anything you need. Gee in the leasing is awesome too... really taken the time to get to know everyone and helps plan awesome events! Also LOVE the ammenities... the pool, coffee bar and workout room are just a few of my favorites! Skyhouse also throws phenomenal parties for residents and it’s been a great way to meet everyone! I now have about 10-12 friends who live here which has been super fun! Would give it 6 Stars if i could! Victory Park is an amazing place to live... super close to amazing restaurants, walking distance to the start of Katy Trail and easy access to ALL highways (toll road, 35 and 75)! Highly recommend.

    My husband and I have lived in skyhouse for a year and a half and have loved every single second of it!The building and units are beautiful, fully updated and boast incredible views. Looking out at the downtown skyline every day and night as we fall asleep never gets old. Plus our friends love it so its always fun to entertain in our apartment or on the rooftop.Everything is very clean and well maintained.While we love the units, views and rooftop, by far our favorite part is the people. All leasing agents are so easy and great to work with and you really do get to know each of them on a personal level. Gee is incredible and always so willing to help. He also goes above and beyond to make it a fun community for everyone and is always planning fun events and such for the residents. I’ve found in a lot of apartments the leasing agents and residents have a strained relationship or they aren’t really involved in the community, which is Definitely not the case at skyhouse.In addition to the leasing agents we LOVE the concierge. Since you see them every time you walk in or out you really start to form relationships with them. They all know our names and always ask about our days and truly get to know us. If you have the opportunity to get to know Ruben or Robert- definitely do. Our incredible experience at skyhouse would not have been the same without them. Plus- the dry cleaning service is a HUGE bonus and I will definitely miss it when the sad day comes that we have to move.I’ve lived in a lot of apartment complexes I dallas and the uptown area and SkyHouse has absolutely surpassed all of them. I highly recommend this community!

    I can say I do love the view. I dont get the drunken noise as the gentleman described in previous post. Elevator has issues sometimes buts its to be expected with any new building. My neighbor is Stephen so I imagine we have a great floor. Parking could be better but overall I love coming home.

    Had an apartment complex in North Dallas that I forgot had an expired lease in early September. I have a friend that lives in Skyhouse so I knew I also wanted to live there. I was nervous of the process. I started talking to Wayne Thompson and he got us taken care of in a matter of minutes. He booked us for a tour of the apartment and we were all closed. I applaud that guy, great service and I felt very cared for. Would highly recommend this complex and Wayne’s service. Thank you Wayne & Skyhouse, can’t wait to move in!

    I’ve worked with Gee a number of times and he’s hands down my favorite leasing agent. He’s efficient, concise, and never pushy. He’s a great communicator, and makes sure to layout all of your options to ensure you know what is most beneficial for you. He’s always got a smile on his face, and you can tell he enjoys doing what he does. ALWAYS ask for Gee.

    I had a tough transition moving from NY to Dallas. Thankfully, Skyhouse management was so incredibly friendly and excellent customer service. They made my transition so much better and I honestly believe it has made such a huge difference in my experience thus far in TX. I have many friends that are looking to move to Dallas and I have all told them about Skyhouse and the amazing management team.

    Thank you to all who posted! Moving to Dallas and definitely wont be moving here! The property is gorgeous, but upon reading these reviews and those on apartments.com, sounds like this place has a security concern, poor customer service, and elevators that dont work...too bad.

    I just moved here, and I absolutely love it. Everyone here is great! Previously, I have lived in Park 17 (loved) and Gables State Thomas Ravello (ABSOLUTELY HATED IT - Management is terrible).
