Absolutely LOVED my last minute stay here valentines day weekend! I originally booked an Airbnb which was a complete nightmare so I was stuck scrambling for another place to stay. I loved the central downtown location as it’s pretty walkable to many restaurants, food trucks and bars and even a short uber to many of the “hot spots”. Emmie, Alexa and I think his name was Alex provided customer service that was attentive, professional, and prompt! Even when I was frazzled from my Airbnb nightmare they were ready to get me settled into my condo to rest. I highly recommend staying here as I felt extremely safe and had everything I needed. I will definitely stay here again upon my next visit to Austin. Thanks so much guys!

This has been one of my favorite stays at Austin. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the lovely ladies behind the desk Emmy & Penny . They were so kind and sweet and explained everything we needed to know about our stay . The apartment was so clean and tidy and everything was spectacular . If I could tip the ladies I would . It also felt like youre in the heart of Austin with how everything is close by . I will definitely be recommending this to place to everyone . 10/10 ⭐️

My wife Elizabeth booked our family Austin stay at the Sentral 1630 location. She called and spoke with Alexa on the phone multiple times as my wife always has so many questions. Alexa was so nice and helpful every time, she even went above and beyond to fix an issue about parking that my wife had. We do not travel that often as we live on a budget, so we really appreciated Alexa very much! We would definitely recommend this place for your Austin stay!

Booked a short term stay and was given room 228 which wasn’t fancy, but was clean and had everything I needed. Price was right. Location is great if you want to be in the middle of it all. Lots of action, people, and fun. Really a great up-and-coming area in Austin. Initially, thought parking was going to be difficult, but then found an easy street across seventh that I parked at every day for free. Building management was friendly and helpful and check in and check out was a breeze.Unfortunately, my room was located just above the dumpsters, which were thunderous maneuvered in the middle of the night, one night multiple times, which must’ve woken up the entire side of the building every night. Boggles the mind.While I did enjoy my stay here, I wouldn’t return because of this major noise factor.

I traveled to Austin for my birthday and stayed at this location! It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had! The ladies at the front desk were veryyy professional, kind, accommodating and made sure to explain everything to me in regard to unexpected delays in checking in! The room was extremely clean, smelled amazing, very pretty, comfortable, relaxing and made me feel like I was right at home! The parking garage was the only issue as it is very steep and narrow, so if you are driving a wider vehicle or SUV, you may have a few issues maneuvering in and out of the garage. However, I felt that my vehicle was very safe parked in the garage due to the great security features associated with my stay! That helps make the parking situation feel worth the trouble! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here and every time I visit Austin, this is where I plan to stay!

I truly loved my living experience here, first time living in Austin I rented here for a year with me and my dog in a studio. Great amenities and very close to everything downtown. Love this place! I was in need of a safe place to store my luggage, and after trying a few other hotels and them not being able to do it, Alan saved my day and helped me out. He stored my luggage safely for 5 hours and I was able to go have Terry Blacks on my last day before my flight! He did it with a smile, plus it seems like this is a really nice place to stay :) such a fantastic location for exploring the cool bars and restaurants of the E 6th neighborhood.

I was visiting Austin for ACL weekend and unfortunately my Airbnb was cancelled the day I was supposed to check in. Luckily I was able to book at Sentral that same day. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even let me check in almost an hour early. The location is great, within a 10 minute walk there’s restaurants, coffee shops, bars/breweries and shopping. The downtown area and W 6th are only a 10-15 minute Uber ride or a 30 minute walk. The rooms are also great, they’re essentially apartments instead of hotel rooms. I’d definitely recommend Sentral to anyone visiting Austin.

Love it! Everything about this place is very clean. Staff is very quick to help you solve ay issues that may arise and get things settled as quickly as possible. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to any issues that you may within a day unlike most places that may takes days or weeks. I just moved in at the beginning of May, but I had been in the process since March. Caitlin made the whole transition moving from another city so wonderful. I felt like I had my own personal helper! All of the leasing agents are friendly and the communication is amazing. It’s a new building so as expected, there have been a few small bumps but none that aren’t resolved quick. They try to make things as comfortable and convenient as possible and are always communicative on anything going on with construction. I really just love the overall communication and attitude of the staff team.As for the space, it’s beautiful and quaint - perfect for someone like me, especially since I travel a lot for my job. All the extra storage!!! 👌🏼 Still getting furniture in and arranging the place, but slowly making it cozy! Plus c’mon, those finishes are GORGEOUS! And everyone who lives here seems to be really friendly. Nice neighbors don’t hurt.

What a great place to live along with a great experience. I recently moved in, and my place is amazing. The courtyard and club room are an extension of my place and will be great for entertaining guest. The location is perfect and as a Chicago native, this has the south loop feel. My experience was great from start to finish, and as a customer service executive I observe the people and the process closely. I have research and called several places, and my search ended when I called and got to speak with Sasha. Her Customer Service skills were amazing, kept notes of my rambling, response time to emails were incredible. And everyone on the Indie leasing team has been polite, professional and accommodating. Looking forward to a great summer and great year!

Overall Sentral is a comfortable and easy place to live. I needed a short term lease so I appreciated the flexibility and the ability to rent furniture. My apartment was also already setup for AT&T so it was very easy to activate a new account.Everyone has been very polite and friendly. The AC is easily adjustable from your room. The apartment is spotless and maintenance has been responsive with any issues. I haven’t see any bugs or mice (thank god).Areas of possible improvement:- while bikes do fit in the elevator, it would be nice to have a bike room on the ground floor- the gym is a little small and sparse, fine if all you want to do is bike but with multiple people it feels cramped and if you’re looking to lift you might be disappointed with the range of weights

The studio was pretty large, bigger than I would have gotten at a hotel, and everything is included with a full kitchen. The neighborhood is convenient for walking to restaurants and bars, but it is loud at night. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this isnt it. Other than that, all good!

I lived in Sentral Austin for about 4 months and I couldnt have been more pleased with my decision. While the apartment and complex were great, what sold me, and what I was most impressed about, was the service I received from staff, especially Karyn.Long story short: I had no place to stay as my Airbnb ended and on that same day, I walked into Sentral to try to secure a short term lease. I really didnt think I was going to have something on that day but Karyn was on it and she really hustled and got me into an apartment. She was super helpful that day and continued to be helpful during my stay.Whenever I had questions or needed help, I knew I could reach out to Karyn. Even with random visits to the office, she was always happy and enthusiastic to see me and help.

1630 east 6th is a great property for tenants looking for short term to long term stay. It’s conveniently located in east Austin; walking distance to many notable restaurants and establishments as well as being right across a metrobike station for those who don’t have cars. The units are well taken of, and the leasing staff is super friendly, particularly Karyn who goes above and beyond to address concerns and maintenance issues as quickly as possible. Would highly recommend living here!

I used to live here and I just want to say I feel for the residents during this trying time. Tiny, tiny apartments and you can literally hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes. Great if you like to go out a lot. Not great if youre literally forced to remain inside for god knows how long.I did love living here, though. Great location, really nice to feel in the mix even if you werent going out every weekend. Neighbors are nice.Only other major flaw is parking. Parking should be FREE for residents (I dont care if youre on 6th Street, parking should be included). Unlike the units, the parking garage is so poorly designed and tight that several people I know (including myself) messed up their car when they parked there.I am kind of a bad driver though, so I cant fully blame Indie for that.Overall 4/5. Would recommend if you dont have a lot of stuff and want to be close to cool bars and restaurants.Would not recommend if youre in quarantine. God help us all.

Quiet, clean and relaxed. Overall, it’s a good place to live in a 2 bedroom.Location is great.Laundry rooms on every floor.Cons:You have to go down to meet friends, grocery or food deliveries because the elevators don’t work without a fob.You do pay $100 a month for parking and on the first night, some one scraped the back of my car :/ The office said they don’t have cameras.The elevator takes forever and feels like a steam room and the lobby itself gets really hot during the day.

One of the best buildings you can live in in Austin, I cannot recommend this place enough. It may be a little expensive and apartments are pretty small but the management team, secure parking and overall safety of this building make up for it. Management is always available whether it be in person or by email, maintenance is quick to fix whatever you need, and the building is well kept. The only negatives Ive been able to find with this building are people leaving out their trash 24/7 (the building has tried to reprimand this once since I moved in but it didnt do much, this is also a problem many buildings that have with trash valet) and not being able to buzz people into the building such as delivery people. HOWEVER the fact that no one can be buzzed in and you cant use the elevator without a fob adds so much security to the building its worth having to go down stairs to let people in. Being a young female who lives alone, the security you feel in this building and the parking garage(unfortunate to have to pay $100 for parking but it makes sense on such a popular street that has only pay parking) has been such a positive for me. Additionally, I cant speak to the thin walls much because I live on the top floor so its relatively quiet. You can definitely hear neighbors next door but honestly its probably just because the apartments are so tiny. Also want to mention that one of the biggest positives of this apartment has been NO BUGS! This is such a rare find in any apt in Austin and has made living here so much more enjoyable. Overall, I really recommend this place, it might not be the most extravagant building with tons of amenities but if youre looking for reliable management, safety and being in the center of E 6th this place is so worth the money.

Great options for all your essential living needs plus high ceilings! I needed a place to stay short-term that was fully furnished and was not having any luck for a while until I found Indie. Not only was the leasing agent Rendell really helpful in letting me know all possible options that suited my needs, he was also very patient with me being a picky and wanting to know all the details including recommendations for grocery shopping, food, and entertainment. He went above and beyond to even give me quotes and information on the sister property Candela. I ended up choosing Indie because it fit more within my budget. You can beat the price for the location. Everything you need is within walking distance - No car needed. The management team is great and the property isnt super huge so you really get a good sense of community here. When I first moved in, the apartment wasnt as clean as Id like (not the leasing offices fault) however, Rendell was super responsive and worked with management to offer a cleaning credit to use at my convenience. :) I would highly recommend living at Indie for anyone that wants an affordable, flexible living space in the ever-growing East Side of Austin.

You will not find a nicer building on East 6th for the value. I wanted an apartment that was walkable to everything I need, but for an affordable price. I found that at Indie! Not only is the apartment complex affordable and in a prime location, but the apartment itself is extremely well maintained (the maintenance crew is fantastic)! What really sold me on living here is Heather and Rendell, they are always willing to drop what they are doing to help answer questions, help me find a package, recommend a dinner spot, etc. I love living at Indie, I get a real sense of community and recommend this building to anyone.

The neighborhood is super chill. Great location. The staff, Alex and Emme, are super friendly. Recommend staying here when youre in town.

Rendell Cruz. Thats all I need to say. He is one of the leasing agents at Indie and I cant tell you enough how spectacular he was. I am moving cross country to Austin so I had to do everything virtually and over the phone and he was so helpful, personable, and accommodating. He was very clear about the prices and honest about the amenities, plus his personality alone sold me on wanting to live there. If you are looking at Indie as your new home, ask for RENDELL CRUZ. You wont be disappointed.

We were satisfied with the apartment. The fridge was a bit noisy. The noises from the street were clearly audible. The kitchen was large and had everything you need. I loved that it also had a soundbar and a large TV. The apartments are in a good location. There were many bars on the street. The access to the garage is not very suitable for deeper cars.
