    I stayed here last minute to work for a client in Austin at zilker park. (We’re from DFW)I was able to make my reservation quickly and enjoyed my stay very much. It is in the middle of everything! I was shocked how quiet it got by 0. The property is well maintained the rooms are fantastic and it is so clean. There was no trash anywhere. Easy instructions for easy access! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great location and every restaurant was wonderful. Can walk anywhere you need to be and it is a dog friendly property! My dog was just too big to bring! Great area, excellent accommodations at this establishment, would definitely come again!

    Amazing staff. Any issue that arises they are on top of it, and ready to lend a helping hand. Been a resident for more than a year. This is a great place to live and I recommend it for anyone who plans on living in Austin or anyone who is just visiting.

    I have lived here for almost 2 years and I cant recommend it enough. Perfect location, you literally have everything you need within a 10-minute walking distance. Groceries, bars, restaurants - you name it. The building and the amenities are also really good and the service is excellent. The few times I had any issues with my unit its been fixed within an hour. The whole staff is super friendly but extra shout-out to Allen!

    I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at 1614. The Management Team of Alex, Allen, Mary Helen, Emme, & Pennie have made me feel at home since before I even moved in and have been so helpful (& fast) to answer any other questions Ive had since living here for the past year+. In the rare occasions Ive needed minor maintenance (e.g., replacing a fridge water filter), Luis & Andres quickly get you taken care of & with a smile. Delfina and her housekeeping team (for the few rooms here that are setup like a hotel room) are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.The building and the apartments here have such premium feels and finishes. Gas stoves! Great views. Walking distance to some of the best spots on East 6th including across from Zilker Brewing and down the block from Suerte; about a 10-minute walk to Target and Whole Foods. Not a single noise complaint on my end either and thats a testament both to the build quality of the building and the residents.The team here really makes you feel like youre friends and family. This has been the best apartment living experience Ive had across 8+ different complexes across 4 states over the last decade.Ive been here for a year+ and look forward to staying here for at least 1 more!

    Checking in after hours was so easy and the directions were clear and not confusing at all. I was so surprised when I walked into the room, the pictures just did not do it justice! I checked in kinda late and decided to stay another night. I reached out to staff before hours and they got back to me so quick and allowed me to stay in my room so I didn’t have to check out and wait to check back in again. Mary Helen at the front desk went above and beyond for me both days. From towels to parking passes she will be one of the main reasons I return.

    I just recently moved into the Candela, and I could not be more happy with my decision. The location is amazing, the apartment is very nice (I especially love the kitchen), and the amenities are great. And I love the small feel of the complex. Management has been absolutely wonderful. Heather was so helpful from the moment I walked into the leasing office to take a tour. She went above what I could have expected to provide me all the information I needed to make a decision I was confident with. And Allen has been a pleasure to interact with, extremely helpful, and always makes an effort to personalize greetings in the hallway. I highly recommend!

    We’ve lived in this building since it was 3 months old, gone through multiple management changes, and I’ll say that the current staff is amazing. Usually management is changing at a complex it’s not what you want to hear, but it’s definitely been for the best. Alex clearly cares about everything going on, Karyn and Emmy in the front office are awesome, and Luis and the maintenance crew are the best I’ve had in the last 15 years of living in apartments - literally always at my door within an hour of a request, if not sooner.

    These people are amazing! I stayed here for 6 weeks. The location is incredible, the staff are exceptional, I couldn’t have asked for anything better! They also allowed me to get a spot in their garage while I travel for several months which was SO convenient for me. Excellent experience all around!

    Kind of wanted to keep this place to myself because it’s such an amazing find but I feel I should give them the props they deserve. After scouring the internet for a place to stay in Austin for a weekend getaway, I stumbled upon this place. I was skeptical that it was a scam at first because it seemed too good to be true for the price and the quality. When we arrived I was shocked that it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment and location were amazing. Much bigger AND better than any hotel in the same price range. Shout out to the manager Alex for being incredibly welcoming and accommodating as well. Just a heads up… if you’re looking for a place to throw a wild party, this is not the place for you. It’s not a hotel. It’s an apartment complex with short term rentals alongside long term residents. You have to keep the noise level to a minimum, which I appreciated. My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay because we felt so at home. Whenever I’m in Austin, Sentral 1614 is the only place I will stay from now on and I will definitely book a longer trip!

    Allen Kane is amazing. I have lived here for 3 years and truly I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. The location is excellent, I can walk across the street to the Royal Blue, my favorite shops right outside my door, massages, nails, juices, and whole foods a short few blocks away. Allen has made me feel right at home with his thoughtfulness and attention to details I love living at Sentral. I highly recommend for busy professionals who travel a lot. The fire pit is a lovely touch in the courtyard in the winter months: also - The designers who can accommodate or advise your furnishings are so excellent too!     Great even for staying one night at Austin when you want to be close to the center yet you dont want to pay a lot. The apartment was awesome, so clean and you can get stuff like blankets in a minutes if you ask for them. The close Liberty bar is a nice addition when you have a balcony on that side.

    Moving is a long and difficult process, but the folks over at Sentral have helped us every step of the way. Alan, Alex, and Emme have been extremely friendly and helpful and made the whole headache of moving into a new place a lot smoother and easier. They are helpful and courteous, answering any questions we’ve had and guiding us through the more complex steps of joining this community. In the week since we moved into Sentral, we’ve met a few of our neighbors and fellow community members. Everyone is very nice and welcoming and we’re so excited to be a part of this awesome apartment complex!

    The staff here is incredible. Allen and Heather made moving across the country easy. They even helped with packages and furniture that arrived before me.Once I got here, I knew I made the right choice. The location is ideal for working from home and not having a car.Chris and Jose handle work orders immediately.     Beautiful apartment. Wonderful amenities. Excellent leasing and maintenance teams. What more could you ask for?I unexpectedly started working from home at the beginning of my first lease due to the pandemic. Luckily, Sentral is the perfect place in Austin to do that - the apartment is comfortable, quiet, and maintenance issues are typically resolved within the hour.Then my sister needed to move in towards the end of my second lease, and Alex made the process pain-free. Emme from leasing even helped resolve an emergency situation on Christmas Eve (!) as we were leaving for dinner.Ive been unable to attend most of the resident events due to work and family obligations, but they always look so fun (Ive seen a lūʻau put on in the pool courtyard). The community app is pretty active as well, and Ive made friends with some neighbors that way. :)

    Could not recommend this place enough! I was having such a hard time finding an apartment and I was looking for places for a month and a half and was starting to feel like my expectations were unreasonable, but let me just tell you, even with high expectations this place is still blowing me out of the water. All the amenities are high end and beautiful and the whole complex looks like something you would see out of an interior design magazine. All the tenants Ive run into have been incredibly nice and very respectful in regards to corona virus. With all of that, I would give this place a 5 star review but I would give it a higher review if I could. Outside of the apartment complex itself being amazing (convenience, location, community, etc.) the management staff is really what makes it. Allen has gone above and beyond making sure my move in was as seamless as possible. The whole staff is so friendly. Im beyond grateful to have ended up here. If youre lucky enough to be able to get an apartment, you should go for it. I promise, you wont regret it :)

    We stayed 4 nights at Sentral East Austin. It’s strategically placed within walking distance (or scooter) of downtown, live music and a million food trucks. The suites are clean, furnished and equipped to feel like home away from home.There is an amazing courtyard with a pool, sitting areas, outdoor refrigerator and BBQ that is available for your use.Lastly the staff at this facility, especially Emme and Alex are amazingly friendly and informative. If you need anything for your room or information regarding where to go in the city do not hesitate to go see them at reception!Until next time Austin! Cheers.

    Just checked into my Airbnb Alex helped me out 123 guys amazing. Easy to talk to and answered literally everything I asked. Would highly recommend. Air bib is nice too. But overall Alex was the first person I spoke to and he gave me a good honest run down which was a nice feeling.

    The staff here gets their own set of 5 stars. From day one of touring the Candela, they were so helpful and friendly. We had a long distance move to make here and they made everything so much easier. The building itself is amazing - it’s brand new, had gorgeous art hanging everywhere, it’s decorated amazingly, the courtyard is the definition of instagram-worthy and the finishes and fixtures in our unit are stunning. I’m obsessed :) The location absolutely cannot be best either. It’s so walkable to everything. Love that it’s dog friendly too. We’re so glad we chose the Candela!

    I was recommended to come here by my coworker for my bachelorette and since I’d never been to Austin, I thought I’d take her advice. Alex went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing weekend before I turned into a Mrs, the location was amazing, and so close to all the bars and nightlife.     The parking garage has been broken for some time now. Basically anyone can enter which already makes me feel unsafe with the fact that so many hotel residents live here and are constantly going in and out. My bike got stolen even though it was locked with two locks.The area is nice, management is decent though understaffed, but I don’t recommend living here for safety purposes even though the complex itself is fine.EDIT 7/1/22: This review was mainly written out of anger and frustration, and since my review they have done a better job of keeping the gates closed. I actually really do enjoy my apartment itself and the area is conveniently located. I’m relocating for my job and actually very sad to be giving my apartment away. Karyn in the front office has been so so helpful with any issue I’ve run into while living here. I would recommend this place and also would recommend keeping your bike locked up in their bike room (which I had no idea about until more recently).

    The staff at Candela rocks. They changed management recently and I cant recommend the new management enough. They answer everything super fast and they genuinely care that tenants are having a good experience. Allen and Heather are the best!EDIT:The gym has no dumbbells (they were stolen and not replaced for almost half a year) and half the machines are broken now.

    I really cannot speak highly enough about how much I love this community. Not only is the apartment complex located in a great spot, but the apartment itself is extremely well maintained and I see cleaning crews almost everyday! What really sold me on living here is the staff. The office staff is unreal. Heather, who works in the leasing office, is a huge reason why I signed. She has helped me every step of the way from touring, to the application, to random questions, also going above and beyond to help me out. Catherine, the Property Manager came out of her office to make me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. I just get great vibes here. 5 stars easily! Lets also not forget Ramen Tatsuya is right next door! haha

    Candela is a wonderful pet-friendly community in the center of East Austin! Weve been living here for about two months and its pretty awesome all around - the location is super walkable (tons of food trucks and restaurants, and a Royal Blue Grocery across the street), staff is super helpful and genuine, and our apartment is super open and modern. The only downside so far is no parking for friends! Theyre very strict on not letting friends park in the garage (probably to combat AirBnB, which, by the way, is a nice thing about Candela, you see the same people every day, not a bunch of random strangers! These days its hard to build community, so props to them for trying.) Theres some space in the back ally but its not ideal. Its always an inconvenience for us to have to figure out if there is space in the back for them to park when they do come over. Occasionally there is no space, so we tell them to park by the cemetery - and thats quite a walk!

    I was in Austin for an extended period for business. I originally chose Sonder at East 5th, but the experience there was among the worst Id ever had. A complete nightmare.I was with a welcome change though that the staff at Sentral East Austin at 1614 (particularly Penny on the front desk), were immensely helpful and friendly.Whereas I would give a 1/5 to Sonder and have suggested that all avoid that property, I immediately give Sentral a 5/5.The staff first of all are the best. I could not ask for more. They were helpful with a difficult booking (because I was changing apartments). They made me feel welcome and not a burden. It was also great to have face to face interaction with staff.Conversely, Sonder had no staff and all interactions with with a chat bot that redirected requests to staff that felt like they were overseas and detached.The room at Sonder was a dream. All spaces were well sized. There was a large amount of space for baggage. The laundry facilities were in room and excellent.I travel a lot, and I feel that Sentral has been one of my best stays in the past decade.If you dont choose the Sentral at 1614, then youll be missing out.

    Love this place, wish I could stay but they are so popular and have no availability for me :( Ill try again in 6months. No hesitation moving back to Sentral. The staff is amazing. Allen, Coryn, everybody, are great people/ friends, and they are all about community support. They hit up my coffee shop Radix all the time!! Loveem ❤️..
