    I opted for the Reserve my two colleagues live in the trails. So far it’s been great, this is my 3rd month. I read the reviews and the place is old slowly being revamped, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Most of my neighbor’s have been living here 10 + years so they are friendly and respectful which is all I ask for. My place catches a lot of sun and the dogs love it! I am hoping they will get the bbq”s working that was disapointing hitting that up one night with marinated steak only to have to walk home with it uncooked. The staff have been great and if I have needed somthing they have got right to it apart from my dirty stained carpets but I can live with that for all the other pluses . I am hoping it all stays this way because I am enjoying living here. I think you have to pick your unit carefully. Top floor or corner units seem to be the most peaceful.The gym is amazing but to be fair to the staff we as residents have to keep things clean and be responsible. I have noticed a lot of dog mess but never caught anyone not picking up which baffles me? The main area gets closed early due to residents not being respectful which is sad. Surely you want to live is a clean place and be a responsible pet owner not to mention be able to use all the facilities ? I have referred another colleague who has just signed a lease and will keep referring as long as they pay out the $500 they promise as an incentive. I know my referee is eagerly awaiting hers! So far I am impressed so I hope my mind stays this way. Come on everyone let’s get these apartments at 5 star! It’s what they should be at!!!! When do the referral incentives get paid out please? One resident said it took 6 months 😳 surely that is not the case however every time we ask we are told a check is in the mail. We were even told it would come out of our rent. 😳

    Shout out to @dwellinc Baylee for helping me find this place. They listened to all my needs and pulled through with everything requested. Be kind and direct with management.EDIT FROM: The difference of air conditioning between the townhomes and leasing office is painfully apparent.The perks of living here is the trail connecting to the white rock lake trail. Its my favorite. Compared to living closer to downtown it is fairly quiet.The leasing office does respond to our needs and does so quickly after a couple of reminders from us in person and in e-mail.

    I have lived here almost 4 months. I am pleased with my decision to move here. Karen in the office is my favorite. she made me feel comfortable to apply for these apartments off of are very first interaction. The application process was fast and easy. They had many promotions when I moved in as incentive and they have delivered on every promise made. Jordan in the office always try to be as helpful as possible.Its very quite here and the amenities are wonderful. They even give away pizza once a month. They keep up with the grounds. No bugs. No major issues. I was nervous looking at other reviews I almost cancelled my appointment. Im glad I didntThe only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because nothing is perfect ever in life. Sometimes maintenance is fast sometimes they are slow but if you go to the office they will be there pronto and the maintenance guys are very nice and work fast.Overall I do recommend the reserve as a great place to live.

    This apartment complex has great amenities and there is a trail literally walking distance! My dog loves it and we get to walk around to see amazing views of the landscape.

    First, I want to start off by saying that this community /stuff have been so helpful and overall my experience here has been awesome. Karen Carranza has been so knowledgeable, genuine, and professional. I definitely would say that we need more people like her in the world and kudos to the maintenance for all of their hard work. Every time a ticket was submitted. They were out here the next day to fix it. overall, the community is so quiet the scenery is so beautiful. I definitely look forward to calling this place my home for the next couple years and I will recommend family/ friends and anyone that is looking for a place to call home.

    My family has lived here for 8 years and love it! We love our spacious apartment with high ceilings, the awesome pool with grills for cooking out while swimming, and the extensive updated workout center. Management has always been kind and helpful and maintenance responds to our requests quickly and efficiently. Having White Rock Lake as our back yard, Casa Linda within walking distance and Urban Vines right down the sidewalk is an added bonus!

    I moved into the Reserve at White Rock less than a month ago and so far, so great! The staff is very responsive, friendly. And the tenants are very welcoming too. The location is amazing and there are a ton of shops and restaurants on top of the quick walk to the lake shore. The rent is affordable and the space of my one bedroom is awesome! I highly recommend checking this place out.

    Have lived here for 2 years, and was really happy up until recently.The gate is frequently malfunctioning/left open for weeks at a time, elevators break down frequently as well, and the MAIN problem this place has is a mis-managed trash pick-up system.For about 2 months now, the trash chute available to residents has been out of commission, meaning residents have to take their trash from the apartment all the way outside of the property to dump it themselves. This doesnt sound bad until you realize there are 4 floors to this apartment building, with only 1 functioning elevator at the moment.Now it appears that money is being allocated to update the cosmetics of the building when that is really the least of residents concerns.Dont get me wrong, I have enjoyed living here! The maintenance staff is prompt when asked to fix an issue in the apartment, the pool is great and the access to the lake in unbeatable, but the building is really requiring a lot more attention than its getting.

    I lived here for over seven years but recently moved out-of-state for work. This property has a private, back path to the lake that makes it a treasured location and VERY hard to move away from. The lake is a great place to cycle, run, walk, see wildlife, picnic, etc. My soul was nourished upon every visit.The Reserve has a reasonable commute to downtown Dallas but it truly feels like local living. You can walk to two grocery stores (one of which is Natural Grocers and the other is Albertsons with a very friendly staff who felt like family). You can also walk to the bank, the post office, doctors and dentist offices, the nationally recognized Dallas Arboretum, lots of yummy restaurants (chains and locally owned), etc. It is just a short drive to other great shopping areas and malls.The current management team and maintenance staff are great. The other reviewers in the past were correct in saying that the former management for many years was transient. Those working now are really good people and manage the property beautifully. They are the best team that I have seen in the seven years of my stay here.I liked the flats the best. I had a three-bedroom apartment. It had vaulted ceilings as it was on the top floor and was very spacious. We loved and used the fireplace on a daily basis during the winter months and it made it feel so cozy.The pool and clubhouse are really enjoyable and the planned community event calendar is full of fun activities. They even had free yoga every Tuesday for awhile.The residents are a wonderful group of people. Overall, very kind and friendly and quiet.I loved living here and would move back in a heartbeat if we lived in Dallas again.

    Been living here with my gf since June and so far everything has been great, maintenance is quick, trash is always picked up and the leasing staff is always helpful. The trail to White Rock Lake is a great plus as well.Update: minus 1 star because management needs to do something about all this dog defecation that’s just left outside. I can’t walk my dog without the fearthat I’ll end up stepping on something

    Great area to live in. Nice calm and collective. Not to far from Downtown Dallas. Walking distance to Whiterock lake with its own personal trail. The Townhome side has its personal attached garage to the living unit. Neighbors are nice. Management is great. Have not had any issues with the staff at all. Overall I would recommend this place to more mature folks who want an accommodating lifestyle at an affordable price.

    This property is awesome! I have lived here for a little while now, and love it. It is a great price for such a good location. The management/ office staff is nothing but nice! Theyve always been quick to fix any issues I may have had. Every time I go in the office, I am greeted happily, and feel welcomed. They are the best!

    Moved into a townhome here in 2015. Then after a year I decided to downsize and moved to a different apartment complex in the same area, which ended up being horrid. A year later I moved to yet another complex which was great but then got bought and the new owners decided to demolish and rebuild. So, I came full circle, moved back to The Reserve in 2018, this time in an apartment. My wife and I love it! We just should have stayed put in 2015! ;-)

    I have happily lived at the Reserve for more than 6 years and I recently experienced firsthand the professionalism and graciousness of the staff during an emergency! On a recent night I suddenly heard water running in my 2nd floor bathroom and discovered water pouring from the ceiling above my bathtub. I called the office phone number, leaving an afterhours emergency message for help. and within six minutes, Joe, our head of maintenance was at my door! While he was tracking down the source of the waterline leak to the 4th floor apartment above me, our property manager, Samantha came to check on the situation and brought someone to vacuum up the water in my bathroom. Because water leaked into the circuit breaker box in the adjoining laundry room, electrical power to my apartment had to be shut off, so Samantha kindly used her cell phone to locate a nearby hotel for me to stay in. Throughout the process of drying out the apartment and safely restoring power for me, I was comforted by reassurances from Sam and Joe! Their quick, professional response to this emergency certainly saved me from personal property damage and I am truly grateful!

    Despite all of the negative comments and reviews, I decided to take a chance a little over a year ago and move in. I have enjoyed the awesome layout of the townhomes as well as the easily accessible lake. There are way more pros than cons at this place and I couldn’t recommend it more. I truly enjoyed my time here and can see myself coming back in the near future.
