    We absolutely love it here. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The community of people are so nice. The apt hosts events and pays attention to details. Our dog loves it here, too! The apartments are spacious and quiet. Because of the quality of people living here and the police presence, I always feel safe. Would recommend!!

    A very wonderful place to live. Love the gated entrances and the friendly neighbors. I also love all the fire safety extinguishers they thru out the apt. A great place to call home. My family and I have been here since June of 2024. Love it here. So much better than the Retreat.

    This is by far the best place ever. Being a first time renter they were very helpful with great information. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful. They are like family. I can walk into the office and they already know me by name and face. I highly recommend Portico at Friars Creek Apartments. They are very great about communicating the residence anytime there is a maintenance, water or power issues. They also do great giveaways monthly. Thank you Portico for the awesome customer service that you all give to the residence and future residence.

    Since we moved in here in June,we have enjoyed quiet and have had no complaints.All the amenities work perfectly .And one time my bathroom door was locked in ,I called the office and had a quick response .One of the team members showed up and fixed it.

    Been living here for almost 2 years now and have really enjoyed it. The staff have been so helpful and quick to respond to any maintenance issues or questions I’ve had.     Portico is a really nice apartment, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Flawless email communication with management. Maintenance is very helpful when needed and have a very fast response time. This is by far the best apartment in town. I’ve been here for about 3 years and have nothing but good things to say. I don’t see myself leaving here anytime soon!

    I’m going to be so sad leaving this place, the staff is beyond amazing and exceeded my expectations. They are so on top of everything and so helpful from the moment you show interest to the moment you end your lease. The best apartment complex. Samantha is really the sweetest person ever, so helpful and there’s not one bad thing to say. My only complaint is the bugs lol made it hard to enjoy the balcony and leaving and entering your house, but that’s Texas for you. Nonetheless, will recommend this apartment to everyone!

    Great and friendly service! I love the location. I think the only problem is the key fob to come in through the gate. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt, but overall, i am having a great experience so far.

    I really enjoyed my 2 and a half year stay at this complex. Very rarely I needed maintenance done and when I did they arrived promptly and fixed the issue. The leasing staff were very courteous and always left me satisfied with any inquiries or concerns I may of had. It was quiet and peaceful and no bug infestation. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but had to relocate. If you’re looking for affordable accommodation check this place out. Probably the best complex I’ve stayed in.

    Living here going on 4 years I think. I am mostly at peace and really love my experience here. Managers are always attentive, and delightful even. Maintenance staff is quick to resolve any issue and know their stuff. Grounds are well maintained I feel. I can say my apartment is in great condition structurally. I can’t stress how much I love living here. I have never renewed for more than a year in my adult life, now I’ve renewed for almost 4. No complaints if there are any.

    My work brought me to Texas for one year. The staff was excellent in helping me get a corporate lease in place. They had furniture all set for me to move in. I took advantage of the fitness center and swimming during the summer. Made the weekends great to relax and get some sun around the pool. I was amazed at how quiet it was outside, even on weekends. I also enjoyed the Friar Creek trail for walking and running. Staff was also excellent through the year if I had any questions and with closing out my lease. I would choose this place to live over and over again. I had a great year staying at this complex.

    Ive lived in a townhouse at Portico for a little over a year. Super nice place with the best staff. Any issues with maintenance or the grounds has always been promptly addressed. They are super friendly! The gym, pool, and other amenities are really nice too. Totally recommend.

    Absolutely love living here. Moved here in August and will be staying. Maintenance requests get done the day of or next day and they are always so nice about it. If you ever have any questions the front office will always have an answer. I have no complaints!

    I had the BEST experience living here. Everyone in the office was always friendly and responsive to any of my questions. Definitely made moving in and out a breeze. My apartment balcony had the courtyard/pool view and the it was so beautiful! The grounds are well kept and quiet. I always felt safe, everything is well lit at night. The apartment itself was modern but cozy, no issues with appliances, heat/cooling, electric or plumbing. Utilities game is on point! The only hiccup was the gate code wouldnt always work and sometimes I would have to walk out to the office to meet my food delivery driver, or my friend would have to park out front and walk back to my building. Overall, I would totally rent from Portico again!

    Overall, I enjoyed staying at the Portico. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartments are really nice. The one bedroom apartment is a nice size for a single person.One thing that could improve, they require carpet cleaning after every tenant which is fine but you can tell the tenant prior to me did not clean the carpets. I do not have pets so I’m not sure after you shampoo carpets there should still be pet hair on the carpet.In fact, I had pet hair in the windows as well. Luckily, I’m not allergic but it was a bit disgusting to open a window and see pet hair flying around everywhere. You can tell no one cleaned it prior to me moving in.

    I lived here for the year of 2020. I had a great experience living here all the staff was great and so helpful I never had any issues at all my time living at the apartments.     Heather did a great job of showing my partner and I floor plans! She explained everything in details and the models gave us a good idea of what we wanted in an apartment. She also gave me a cookie. 😇 Despite the amazing experience she gave us we love the amenities Portico has to offer and every floor plan had a lot of space as well as the gym. The property management office was very welcoming. We will definitely consider Portico for our first apartment in the future!

    Great place overall. Staff was 100% courteous and maintenance crew as well. Zero complaints for the property or staff. Only issue which they were not at fault was irresponsible pet owners not picking up after their own pets. Spacious and relatively new units.Great experience and would definitely return if in the Central TX area.!

The apartments are built well no noise at night, no loud music in the parking lots and they do an amazing job keeping the place looking clean.

    The property is beautiful. It is really close to everything you need (grocery, food, gym, trails, shopping, downtown access). Had no trouble with uber or grub hub finding the place. Management staff was very friendly and I only had one issue with an upstairs neighbor noise (they fixed it immediately and no issue after that). Ample parking in front of my apartment, which was so nice with the rain. If you want a beautifully kept property with great amenities, you cant go wrong living here. One of the best properties I have lived in! I moved in and out during COVID and the staff was so great from getting our keys, documents to sign, and the move out. Great job team!!!!

    Friendly and helpful staff. Maintenance was quick to address a few minor issues on move in. Complex is quiet and lovely- apartments are great. Great size for a two bedroom with all updated appliances. Just a few days in but So far so good!

    The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me in finding the best apartment for me. The apartments were built very recently and I am the first tenant in mine.The amenities are great and there is a ~5 mile trail that runs past the complex and is easily accessible. The price is exceptional; I was looking at 30+ year-old apartments that were going for the same price before I was pointed in the direction of The Portico.I highly recommend checking this complex out.

    Just moved in on August 1st. Everything from the application process to move-in is very organized and streamlined, almost to a science working with Juliana and Shilo. The property grounds overall is clean and well-kept. Quality of stainless updated appliances in my apartment is above expectations and made the decision to select Portico for a new home that much easier. You really dont get amenities like this anywhere else for the price. I also enjoy my open floorplan and natural light from the generous amount of windows in my apartment. Community life is good so far with the dog parks and pool. Socializing is very nice so far. Time will tell but life is good here after the first week.

    I had moved here from out of state during the height of Covid. The office staff was amazing at keeping me posted on the process and had everything ready to go upon my arrival. Maintenance staff was so quick with any request needed. The grounds are always clean! If looking for a great place to call home in Temple, Portico is a must see.

    I put in a work order because my ac wasn’t working. Management called me after only minutes of putting the request in and said someone would be out. The maintenance person was professional and polite. I appreciate the speedy service and the phone calls. It made me feel like they care about their residents.

    My stay at Portico was great. I stayed in a townhome and locked myself out of home several times. The staff came within minutes to let me back in. If I needed anything, they made sure I was taken care off. And it was very quiet which is a major concern to me.

    I went to view these lovely apartments today, and I don’t want to live anywhere else, not even a house! At least not for now lol but they are very clean, nice sized pool, well equipped gym and spacious apartments! I am so excited to apply, because I was definitely won over today! I’m glad they were open, because a few other apartments missed out lol Ashlyn is absolutely great with wonderful customer service! She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable the entire time! You don’t get this everywhere, and I am very pleased with my visit :)

    We just moved to Portico early October and we are so glad we picked this place! We are a military family so for one, the drive to Ft. Hood is not too bad/far at all. It takes me 30-33 mins to get to the Ft. Hood Main Gate. Next, Portico offers modern style living with stainless steel appliances and many amenities like a dog park. Most importantly, the neighborhood is quiet and so safe that my grade school kid can bike around the complexes with no problems. Julie was the person we spoke with at Portico and she made the move very easy and enjoyable for us :-)

    I lived in the portico appartment for the past year. It is one of the best places I have ever lived in. Very clean and relatively new buildings.     Lived at portico at Friars creek. And for my experience it is a great place to stay. I had no problem with maintenance staff or anything in that apartment complex. the apartment still smell fresh and new. Good Landscaping ,good aera to live in. I will look for Case Management Properties in different cities to live in. Wish they had them in San Antonio thats the only problem I got with the company is they dont have a property in San Antonio Tx.

    We moved here less than a month ago and absolutely love it. The staff made our move so easy and they were so understanding due to us being a military family. Only about 33 minutes away from fort hood but definitely worth the drive!

My cars have been broken into twice, so that’s something to think about.ParkingThe good - plenty available and there’s also garages available.The bad - none really.Overall - the place is nice, apartments are quite new and affordable, maintenance does a really good job, the only bad thing is that there is no fence between clubhouse and 2 gates so is not 100% gated community.

    Moving here in November !I don’t remember the ladies name who gave us a tour but definitely one of the coolest ones yet she gave us detail about every little piece of the complex ! And also the other ladies there welcomed us as if we lived there already ! Super relaxed quiet place , very worth the price of living as well! I normally don’t write reviews but this one was definitely worth it if I could give 10 stars I would but I could only do 5:( but anyways if anyone is looking for a modern , luxury , safe place to live come check these guys out , you won’t be disappointed!!!!

    Have to say that this is a great appartment complex. Had the opportunity to see this complex being built. They took the time to make things right. Prices are very competitive and is well worth your time to go see. I liked it for several reasons. Security! Close to an array of main shopping area. Out an away from the heavy traffic. And of course the expediancy of their maintenance repair.
