    Everyone come see Crystal !!!I recently had the opportunity to explore Orion McCord Park Apartments, and I must say, the experience was quite impressive. The apartment units are well-designed, offering modern amenities and spacious layouts that make for comfortable living.     We moved in December 29th and so far everything has been great. There were some things that needed to be fixed and maintenance fixed them right away! The community is somewhat quiet and overall nice and clean. So far me and my husband love living here.

    I moved into Orion McCord Park Apartment at Little Elm Texas from Connecticut in the last week of Sep 2024. I worked with Amy Rutter from Orion McCord over phone and email to book this apartment remotely. Amy provided detailed info, answered all my questions and on time :) everything went soo smooth that I did not have to worry abt anything moving from CT to this beautiful apartment. Thank you Amy :)There was some delay in replacing faulty washer and dryer after moving in but the maintenance person who came in was so polite, apologized for the delay & said that too many maintenance requests came in at same time and showed me the tickets too :). Issues happen everywhere but how it is addressed is important :) I am a HAPPY resident of Orion McCord Park Apartment.

    Weve lived at Orion McCord Park three years at the time of writing (Oct 2020). Ive lived in rented accommodation of one kind of another for the last eleven years. I can honestly say Orion McCord Park apts is top of the list when it comes to maintenance, property management and upkeep of the neighborhood. Its a safe and quiet place to live with virtually no crime Ive ever heard of, which can be a rare thing in a rental community.One thing many other reviews have not mentioned is the totally superb architectural design of the buildings. Each apartment in a block is laid out in a way which ensures totally incredible sound isolation. Unlike many other neighborhoods it is very unusual to hear any sounds at all from your neighbors such as footsteps, water running, TVs or anything at all. Its so quiet you completely forget youre living in a shared building. A very very clever design by the architects.Also worth noting is there are a good number of people living around here who have been here for a few years. I can assure you this would not be the case were it not such a great place to live. I realize you might be skeptical reading this review and thinks perhaps Im a plant or in cahoots with the Management but I want to make it absolutely clear that I am just a regular tenant who is very happy living here.If youre thinking about moving here take a gentle stroll by the lake in the nearby park. Say hi to some of the neighbors and wave at the waggy collection of resident doggy pals in this very pet-friendly community; just take a second to stand among the Cypress trees and see that gloriously pure Texas sunshine as it filters through the branches along the little tucked-away sidewalks and landscaping.Its a great place to live...and Im not alone in thinking that.

    Outside maintenance called to fix leak were respectful, quick, and did a great job. Three weeks later, after severall requests, Orion McCord sent Tony, who did a good job. Im moving out this month as this complex has problems I no longer want to deal with. I gave them a 4 because the called in people quickly and handles the problem. But when it came to finishing the job with regular maintenance, the get 1 for timeliness.

    Orion McCord is a great place to live. The office staff is responsive to my needs and gets things done in a timely manner. The overall neighborhood is awesome with lots of retail and restaurants nearby and my neighbors are friendly and take care of the property well.

    Good Appartments. Maintenance addresses my request very quickly, there is a convenient online quick form to submit maintenance requests.I love the view of the park, there is lots of wildlife here for kids to watch. Neighbors are friendly and quite, we never been bothered by loud fights or music.

    Linda and Company continues to be a great team and provide effective customer service! The community stays clean and is not litter with trash. The gym is spacious and the community swimming pool is beautiful. The neighbors do not cause too much trouble and seems to be a quiet place that sits next to a city park. The place also sits conveniently next to a gas station and a Starbucks for your fixings. I just made my one year anniversary here. Come check it out and be my neighbor!

    Maintenance recently came to my apartment and installed new hardware on my kitchen and bath cabinets. The installation was done quickly and efficiently. They even cleaned up afterwards.Now, I am able to open and shut the cabinet doors with greater ease. Just wishing this had been done 9 years ago, better late than never. Thank you Orion McCord Park for getting this done, now if I could just get you to replace the floors.

    Im going into my 11th.year of living at Orion McCord Park. Its a place I call home. Ive enjoyed living here all these years. The current management staff is doing an exceptional job at being proactive in maintaining the property along with satisfying residential concerns.A wonderful place to consider when searching out a place to live. The management team led by Linda and her assistant Brianna does an exceptional job. The maintenance team led by Glen and followed by Tony, Jason and JD are super-efficient and dedicated to making the residents feel at home. This is a resident centric management team that lets you know they care. Given this and the convenience and amenities offered its been a great experience for my wife and I living at Orion McCord Park.

    After living in this complex for 5 years in a large 1 bedroom and another 3+ years in a 4 bedroom, the Leasing office staff here is friendly, helpful and responsive.The Manager is completely on top of property maintenance as since her employment & the current staff the pool has been upgraded, common areas stay well groomed & maintained & they keep the entire grounds presentable for a place to be proud to live.The Maintenance team is friendly, knowledgeable, responsive and professional & always ready to do whatever they can to resolve any issues.Shout out to Amy in Leasing, as she has been on staff for a long time and is always a pleasure to speak with and always kind and courteous to everyone.We love this complex, and the staff is the largest reason the experience is enjoyable, as their efforts make life convenient for us as residents!🥰

    I am pretty satisfied with the staff, maintenance, and community. So satisfied that I’ve been in the same complex for 5 years and I do plan on renewing my lease for a 6 year. As previously stated, I love the area. I think that’s pretty much why I am continuing to renew my lease.

    I love living here. Our move in has been so smooth and simple, and the office staff have been friendly and welcoming. I worked with Amy during my move in and she was fantastic! She was professional, easy to talk to, approachable, and a very well rounded employee. I love the parcel system, and the community breakfast. The location is pretty perfect too!

    This place is worlds above any other complex Ive ever lived in. Location is perfect with access to this beautiful park.My master bedroom is HUGE! I love the attached 2 car garage. The staff is also great. Most complexes have tons of turnover, but they treat their employees & residents so well they dont want to leave. Its definitely home.🙂

    I love love love this place! I’ve been here almost a year and am definitely renewing my lease! The staff is amazing and genuinely care about you as an individual. The grounds, pool, parking lot, landscaping, and common areas are clean and well maintained. I haven’t had any issues since I’ve been here and am always recommending Orion McCord Park Apartments to friends, family, and co-workers. I feel valued as a tenant even though my interactions with the staff is minimal, but that in itself speaks volumes. I do not feel like just another “revenue generating customer”. Unfortunately I have not been able to partake in the community activities but I can tell you I’ve hear great things about the weekend breakfast! I can’t say enough positive things about my life here, and highly recommend to anyone considering making it their home.

    I work in the same industry and I know that it is not easy to find people as dedicated and detailed as Amy. From the first day, the communication was great. The day I moved everything was ready and the apartment was nice. Amy continued to have communication with me even two weeks after I moved in regarding every step to take to solve a few small cosmetic problems. The maintenance team has also been efficient and fast, thank you very much for all your help! I greatly appreciate everyone for maintaining a very good communication all the time .

    I had recently moved to the area and looked at so many places but I needed an apartment that was high on security and in a good location. This apartment exceeded everything I needed. I met with Jessica who is an absolute gem to talk to, she helped with my transition to the apartment and makes me feel so welcome whenever I see her! The amenities are a bonus for me. There is a tanning booth and a business center which I have used plenty of times. A park nearby is good for morning workouts if you like to do the trail exercises. Overall I am so excited to have found this place and super grateful it was a good deal to move in to.

    Just moved in to our new apartment. Amy was our main contact for setting up the lease and everything else, and she was amazing! She provided very straightforward instructions, tips, and support which made the whole process easy and quick. This was the easiest lease weve signed because of Amy, and for that were very thankful! As far as for our apartment, its really great, and so far so good. It needed a little tweeks and fixes, but maintenence came in and did it all in a swift. Thank you Orion for your great service!

    Been living here for about a year. The location is amazing. Right next to a race track, easy access to McCord park, tons of beautiful trees on the property. Overall, the property is clean, quiet, the staff are all nice, the apartments are updated and have little to no issues. My only small issue would be that the water heater isnt large enough to fill the beautiful bath tub in the bathroom and the AC doesnt circulate well in the bedroom. Also, there are dumpsters all throughout the complex so the mandatory valet trash fee isnt necessary in my opinion. The fee has also increased slightly. I live right next to a dumpster so I just take my trash there and almost never use valet trash. Otherwise, this place is the best kept secret in the Little Elm/Frisco area with the attached garages. It feels like a town home for the price of a one bedroom apartment.

    Ive lived here for a year and I didnt hesitate when it came time to re-new my lease! The staff is so helpful (ASK FOR AMY!!!!) and the community is soooo peaceful. My kids attend school and work nearby. I love the amenities and the trails were an added bonus. 5 Stars across the board!!!!!

    I needed to move an apartment rather quick and was set up to tour with Amy. She answered all my questions. When applying she told me everything I would need to make my quick move in date happen. She worked very hard to make sure I could move in when I needed to. Maintenance is quick to answer calls and the landscaping is beautiful. The park connected to the apartments is wonderful. The only downside is parking if you do not have a garage. However, coming in with an open mind and knowing this is helpful. I highly recommend getting a unit with a garage since open parking can be slim. I love my real hardwood floors and jetted bathtub. The apartment is beautiful and neighbors are very friendly and quiet.

    I moved here mid June. Michael picked up the phone when I called about looking at units and we were leasing same day!The unit is spectacular. It is spacious and has a certain wow factor. Granite counters, jetted tub and standing shower, stainless steel appliances, tall ceilings with trim, a gym with variety, tanning, and a beautiful community pool with splash area.I have to be honest, my original unit had an issue that made me need to transfer units. It wasnt the offices fault and there really isnt anyone to hand the blame off to. They found me another unit and helped accommodate my move.Thats what mattered. I now have a pool view!It has been a crazy first few months here settling into the new area for my family and moving twice in 2 months but I love it. I love coming home to my beautiful apartment. All the nonsense has been a great reason to stop into the office and chat with Michael. He makes me laugh, you should ask for him when leasing, but all of them have been great.Thanks guys!

    We would like to personally thank our leasing agent Amy along with her co-workers Jessica and Brianna for their support and guidance during our move in process. In addition, the Supervisors were also part of helping us get accepted. We walked into the office on a Sunday after visiting our brother and sister in-law. We fell in love with their townhome because it had everything we were looking for. Our experience with all of the staff has been amazing. Everyone on staff is patient and thorough. This includes maintenance as well.

    I am not sure what the other negative reviews are referring to. The leasing process has been smooth for me. Moving in was on time as scheduled. The unit was in good condition. There are a few things you would notice from an established unit. I shopped around and the prices were comparable to others. By the time you take other properties fee for garages and other amenities, Orion came out on top.

    I am very glad that I didnt listen to the bad reviews when I moved in 13 months ago. Prior to moving here this place was under really bad management. Since then the property has been bought by a new management property and the current manager Karen is phenomenal! The staff here really will go above and beyond to accommodate you, I hate that I have to move because my experience here was great! This is a beautiful apartment community, it is well kept, maintenance is phenomenal, every apartment is very roomy, all modern, steel, glass top appliances, every unit has a Jacuzzi tub and the office staff are ALWAYS helpful and friendly. I wish it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Thank you Orion McCord Park for an enjoyable 13 months, I wish you all well going forward!

    I have lived here for 3 years and the only issue I would say is the staff. They have changed so many times and it’s like they get worse. They just aren’t very nice is all, almost like they are forced to be there. Aside from that I love everything else, it’s a nice safe neighborhood that truly feels like a home. I love that it’s not so bright outside at night like regular apartments. They put stop signs and speed bumps but hardly any so not sure why people are complaining about that. They also created lockers where you can pick up packages which you can get at any time of the day and they only charge you like 3 bucks if you go past 3 days, someone in the reviews didn’t specify that part. I have never had issues with people stealing my packages on my front door step. I did hear there were rats sometimes but only by the garbage cans which I don’t live right next to so that’s good for me and I never saw them.The pool is only packed with kids during the summer because hello it’s summer, school is out. When school is in, the pool is basically dead and you can relax then. After every year the rent only went up no more than 30 bucks and this year for our renewal it actually ended up going back down Which is awesome. Maintenance tickets get resolved either same day or next day for sure and their maintenance crew are all very nice. only downside is that they make you buy your own light bulbs if it’s in reaching distance.let me tell you.... my lights are still out lol i refuse! No I’m just kidding, I’m just too lazy. I’ll do it when I move out. They also have brunch the first Saturday of every month. If they could just do better during the hiring process of their staff then I don’t think so many people would write angry reviews. That is why I did not base my living experience off of what the staff was like because I actually loved it.

    Im a Resident here at Orion McCord Park Apt for 3+ years and I must say this last year had brought a lot of challenges to us all, however I wanted to take time and write a review about the bright light that was provided while in my tunnel. Amy (leasing Consultant) provided that light in my dark places with her kindness, patience, compassion and professionalism. I was so distraught and confused the last 2 years about relocation due to the COVID and my employment work from home status. Amy help me to analyze my needs versus my wants and what was affordable and convenient to my style. Of course it was to remain a resident. Great choice because I love to walk daily in the safe and clean McCord Park next door if not 24 hrs fitness center which is always clean and well equipped. The premise are well kept and maintenance (Tony) is timely, professional and reliable. I really do appreciate and enjoy my safe environment 😉. My neighbors are fabulous. I love that Im walking distance to Kroger. Aldi, Race Trac, Lapels Cleaners and Starbucks.. hey Im living my best single life here at Orion McCord Park Apt. Thanks Amy for helping me not to leave with regrets. Amy and Tony s pleasant personality is consistent and that is a excellent characteristic. Keep up the good work and see you at the Taco Truck in Tuesday or Saturday monthly Brunch (forgot to say thanks for the wonderful amenities)😊

    I’ve lived here 2 years now , during the resent snow storm and the aftermath I was moving fromMy 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom Monday the 15th. They were still able too get someone in that afternoon and get me keys to my new apartment so I could complete my move! They went out of there way and it was appreciated ! I recommend This complex to my friends that are moving always. The inside and out are beautiful and well kept and maintained.

    I wanted to do a review on the outstanding customer service I received from Shelby while touring this wonderfully kept community. Although I did not lease here as it was a bit further to my job than I wanted, the experience I received on my tour was above all the other apartments tours I went on. Shelby was super friendly, informative, and extremely knowledgeable. She listened to all my concerns with an open mind and was not overly pushy. If the property wasn’t further out, I would be a resident! Great job Shelby!

    We just moved into Orion McCord Park Apartments and couldnt be more thrilled! We worked with Jessica who made our whole experience smooth, easy and delightful (always with a smile on her face and super thorough in explaining/working with us). We were able to take a tour of the community, even viewing the apartment before signing lease which was a huge perk. The amenities seem to be plentiful (definitely excited for the proximity to McCord park too!) And the apartments themselves are a great value! Having a garage attached to an apartmenth home is hard to find in DFW ! Definitely check these out if you are looking into moving into Little Elm, DFW metroplex, or just want a nice, safe community!

    UPDATE: I am writing this follow up because I feel the events of this week deserve to be noted. I have lived in this complex for four years - going on five. I wanted to transfer to another unit and found out during that process that a former manager had mistakenly entered in their system that I had been evicted. Obviously not true as Im still here... Micheal, Caroline, and Noelle spent hours working to get that corrected and process my application. Move-in day comes around and its discovered that the unit I was to move into happens to be a handicap accessible unit. The modifications though necessary, created some loss of useable space that I was counting on having. I went to the office and spoke with Noelle and Caroline and was immediately offered the opportunity to have that lease terminated and to choose a different unit. Stacy, Caroline, and Noelle spent literally (yes, I mean literally) the entire day processing my move, helping me sort out the details of getting my insurance and utilities changed over last minute, and making sure the new unit was ready for move-in. They went above and beyond to help me move into a unit I was happy with and be able to do so, the same day. I cannot express how grateful I am to each and every one of them for being so flexible, attentive, and compassionate in what could have been a very messy situation. What could have been a terrible day became a day that confirmed my decision to remain in this complex was the right decision. I have watched as staff has been yelled at, cursed at, and treated terribly, and yet, here they are setting aside all the things they needed to get done that day in order to help me. Many places would have said I was stuck in the other unit or charged me to switch. They did neither. I am grateful for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to making this place a great place to live. Many, many thanks to Stacy, Caroline, Noelle, and Micheal. 5 stars doesnt cover how amazing you all are - were so lucky to have you!PREVIOUS POST: When I first moved here four years ago, it was a disaster. The management was so-so, but the staff was horrendous. They cared more about putting on make-up (while you were standing right in front of them) than they did about helping a resident or potential resident. The property has changed hands a few times since Ive lived here with small ups and downs, but this last change with RAM has been for the best. Staff is present and cares. They are receptive and helpful. Theyre knowledgeable about the property and company. This place still has room for improvement, but they have come a long way. As someone who has lived here for four years, this is the best its been. I am confident they will continue to improve as they constantly ask what could be better and will go the extra mile to work with people on a case by case basis. I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5 due to the fact that there is still some room to grow, but they are on the right track and moving in the right direction. Special thanks to Michael for always going the extra mile for everyone who walks through the door and who goes out of his way to remember names and faces.

    Michael Little is a fantastic leasing consultant - full of helpful information and so kind! We loved these apartments and came for a return tour to confirm our choice to move here. We toured with Noelle, who was nice as well but informed us we could not pay our lease upfront. We were disappointed and had to get elsewhere unfortunately. We appreciate the kind staff, but wish they would have been more willing to work with our financial situation.

The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 is because these apartments were like all apartments now days are made of nothing but plank so it cheap. You can here the garage door loud, paint was already chipping within 6 months, carpet is cheap...BUT with all that said I would still recommend these apartments

    I moved from a completely different time zone and I travel for a living, to boot. The staff at Orion McCord were patient, kind and diligent in making, whats normally an extremely stressful ordeal(moving); the easiest process-ever!! Micheal L. made me feel as though I were the only tenant moving in! Currently, five months after I arrived and moved in, Micheal and Chris have been CONSISTENT!!! The property is GORGEOUS and VERY CLEAN!! I LOVE living here!!

    My husband and I have lived here for a year and absolutely love it; we signed a new lease and plan to stay here for awhile! We have not had any problems with the staff, every time we go in with concerns or questions they are very kind and help us as best they can. The one complaint I do have is the parcel service. I get notifications all the time about having a package waiting even though I have not ordered anything and it always ends up being someone elses package. That and when I actually am expecting a package I end up getting someone elses about every other time.

    Amy Rutter, Went out of her way when I was looking for an apartment. I had been transferred to Texas from IL. She went through the trouble of face-timing me the inside of the apartment and the view.     I don’t know whether to cry, jump for joy, or what, but all I know is that I am so excited for my new place.First off, Shonda in the office...talk about a wow factor. I had NO clue initially she was the manager. She made me feel like I was one of the family before I even applied. I have toured many places, but before I even saw my unit, I knew this was going to be home for me and my family.The process, omg...seamless. They literally walked me through every step of the way. They helped me get everything together, and got me in quickly, and made sure once I did, everything would be up to my satisfaction.My unit... now I’m coming from a 4,300 square foot house. But this apartment is NOT an apartment. This is a house. I have no doubt, that I will probably not move until I buy my house in a few years.Overall, Chris, Eric, and Shonda are an amazing team. I literally have tears in my eyes as I type this. I’m so grateful, and feel so blessed that I can call Orion McCord Park, my new home.!

    Love it!! My husband & I have lived here almost a year & absolutely Love it!! The office staff is awesome & the maintenance guys are The Best! Youd think they owned the property. They take pride in what they do & it definitely shows! Its one thing to have a nice apartment but if the entire staff is horrible then you want to leave, right? You definitely owe it to yourself to check out this property. They literally go above & beyond the call of duty & they care. When we were struggling to find help for our baby grandson who is over 60% deaf. Donnie, one of the maintenance guys, took his time to tell me who my daughter should contact to get all the help they need because they live way out in East Texas. Well thank you Donnie! And Praise God!! Our grandson just got his little hearing aids yesterday! And hes already set up for all his in home therapy. You cant put a price on that! The entire crew here is awesome & it starts with the Mgr- Rainee. (I hope I spelled her name correctly). Because Leader of one, Leader of many. If I cant lead one, I cant lead any. She leads by example & so does Tyrone the maintenance mgr. They definitely bring their 1% here in all they do! And it shows!We have an upstairs unit with a garage. We have never heard anyone unless they were walking & talking right under our window. But youd hear that in a house too. Just like right now theyre outside mowing & yes I can hear it. Oh & the people are friendly here. Ive met some great people here. So my advice to you is if youre looking for a place to live in this area you really need to check out The Mansions by the Lake. And if you dont have a home Church at the moment come visit Elevate Life Church in Frisco. Thats where my husband & I go. From our family to yours, we pray you find what youre looking for.     Shonda at Orion McCord was soooooo amazing today. Somehow UPS managed to put my package full of my daughters school shoes in the wrong parcel pending box, and after several phone calls to different places trying to get the issue resolved so my daughter can have her shoes for school, I finally just called the front office.
