UPDATE Dec. 5, 2024: Happy to update that cracks in the corner of the walls have been repaired and repainted. No longer an eyesore. Contractors took care of it within 2 hrs and the paint only needed about 2 days for it to dry (no fumes or smells). I want to again reiterate that my original post stated that I love it here, love the staff, maintenance guys, the property, the community events -- and I still do. I harbored NO hard feelings against anyone or against the complex as a whole bc i fully understand that new construction houses and buildings WILL HAVE occurrences of shifting and settling whether a little or a lot... its a part of nature and physics. The only bad part is I am no longer able to edit/ update my previous original post with the 3 stars -- but the good news is this particular update today Im giving 5 stars. Happy Holidays to all.

This was my boyfriend and I’s first time moving in together and Opal Point was our first choice. I’m very happy to be living here now! The pool is very cool and the management are great people.

I really like it here and wanted to give 5 stars, but.... theres a few unresolved issues still as of 10/28/24. Been here just over a month. Moved in partially with just a few items (the bare necessities, not even furniture thats still in storage). 2 weeks in: Some cracking in the corner where 2 walls meet. I thought ehh, some settling of the building, no biggie. 3 weeks in: the cracking spread significantly from floor up to the ceiling with paint chipping and paint chips/ dust on the floor. Im hearing loud pops and cracks randomly every day which is likely more settling going on. Made management aware on week 2 and Texted photos to mgmt..... - advised me theyd jump on it by contacting the original builder. Week 3: the cracking is making a mess of white paint chips in my floor and still no update. I proactively had to go into the office for an update. Week 4 - no update. Again I proactively have to go into the office to ask about any updates as no one is getting back to me. Im told a contractor will come to inspect on Monday (around mid morning, no exact time frame) but ok. Monday comes, Im home all day. No call from contractor nor the office, and no one shows up to my door. Office closes at 6 so I decide to go to the office at 5 (yet again for an update). Im told Now the issue gets passed along to a higher up Supervisor of sorts. Plus the wifi vendor was supposed to come do some wifi signal testing - they didnt show up either. Entire day wasted. Im glad I listened to my gut about NOT completely moving all of my stuff in. Was given an option of moving to a different unit (which is a BIG inconvenience but Im definitely considering) but man! Once youre kinda settled in - moving is a pain in the butt even with having part of my belongings. Mind you - there were NO cracks when I moved in. Cracks started around day 12 or so of moving in and quickly got worse Well see how it goes. If they make this right - Ill update my review. Everything else is fine tho - the amenities, etc.*** ⚠️⚠️UPDATE 11/4/2024***Saw the reply from the owner or staff in regards to me NOT being a resident here. I can assure you Im a resident here and not just some random person trolling. Ive met staff and conversed with staff and maintenance personnel (Cynthia, Eryn, Brittney in office) and Mark and Eddie (maintenance guys). As further proof we just had the Internet vendor WhiteSky come in and reset the Wi-Fi and/or Nest thermostats within several of the units, mine included. Again, Im not here bashing Opal Point - I actually truly like it here - everything including staff. Once my repair issues are addressed and completed, Ill definitely update this review to better than 3 stars, no problem. God bless.-- ✅ Oh, and an additional update: Contractors or the original builder came in to assess the wall cracking issue and said theyll get some repair guys in here. My time at Opal Point Apartments in Kyle, TX was short but memorable. From the moment I moved in, I was impressed by the attentiveness of the office staff and maintenance team. They were always readily available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had, which made my stay much more comfortable.The facilities and design of the apartments are modern and well-maintained. I appreciated the contemporary aesthetics and the thoughtful layout of the units. Everything felt fresh and up-to-date. The community is secure and well-lit, and I never had any concerns about my safety during my time there.Overall, my experience was excellent. I would highly recommend.

First let me start by saying the staff is amazing. They are all very sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating. They got me into a unit on very short notice, and worked with me through every step of the process. Great amenities and very convenient location. The grounds are nicely kept and clean. So happy I found this new build. It is the perfect place to call home!

These new apartments are beautiful! Whats even better are the employees! My steering went out on my car and I had to turn into this complex to wait for help. I met the leasing agent, Eryn Willson, who was extremely hospitable and welcoming. She invited us out of the heat and offered drinks and snacks. While waiting, I was able to look around and saw the gorgeous club house and pool. We were very impressed! Huge thank you to Eryn for being so sweet and understanding! If this was a different complex, I wouldve likely gotten a different response from the office and made to feel like theyd have my car towed so I was grateful for this place!

I recently visited Opal Point at Kyle and I must say, it has been an outstanding experience so far! The amenities and the community atmosphere are top-notch, but what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional staff, especially Cynthia! She was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I will definitely be recommending this complex for anyone looking for a lovely place to call home in Kyle Texas!

The staff is so amazing and welcoming!Cynthia the manager helped me a lot when I came and applied for an apartment for the first time! She was so patient and helpful with all my questions! I love the place it’s so calm feels like a home to me! I’m glad I got an apartment here! I love how everything is so new and beautiful! You won’t regret getting a place here! To start off, I was referred the wrong apartment complex from a coworker. But nevertheless, Eryn’s knowledge and patience made me choose Opal Point. Her quick response to phone calls and emails helped guide me to signing the lease. I signed for a year, hopefully I’ll leave a good review when it’s up or maybe I’ll resign. If you’re looking for a comfortable home Opal Point is where it’s at.

I have loved my time thus far living here. Staff is responsive and handle any request you have. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure my family and I feel safe and comfortable! Fitness center is great, I’ve had days working from home where I can workout on my lunch break and not have to leave the complex at all! Highly recommend if you are looking for a little slice of paradise. Truly an unexpected luxury complex at a very fair price. Come check it out!
