    The leasing agent, Terri, is a true gem! She made me feel at ease when finding an apartment can sometimes get stressful. Each unit at Northland she showed checked all of my boxes. This complex is homey and in a great location! With renovated 1bed1bath units at a REALLY good price. Hard to find. Terri is an overall breath of fresh air and truly matches the vibe of the complex. I recommend asking for her when you are ready to make that move.

    So hi, I’ve been here a year and a half now I love it here. I love Jimmy and the maintenance team but I also love Ricie the assistant manager here she is so bubbly she goes above and beyond for everybody, she is sweet. I love her a personality. She do the best of whatever it is that she can do. The rent need to go down. The apartments is outdated. if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have not re-signed my lease. My family love her she is so bubbly she do everything she can in her power to make everyone happy. The rent needs to go down the trash, valet needs to get taken out the rent because we can take our own trash down the spectrum package need to be taken out the rent. The rent don’t need to go up. It needs to go down. Tenants can’t even breathe because rent is too much. We are close to a lot of stuff so you don’t have to be in traffic all the time. Will you leave the area? We are close to a lot of restaurants and we are down the street from the H-E-B. I just love everything that Ricie. I wouldn’t renew my lease if it wasn’t for her. This is the only reason why i giving it 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Lived in 3 different units for a period of 5 years….let me start with saying it’s a very nice area to stay with all possible amenities near by, never had an maintenance issues ( if any they were taken care very quickly) , apartments are not modern but can’t complain.

    I’ve had a wonderful experience signing a lease at these apartments. I was on the fence about a one bedroom or two bedroom and the staff worked with me through my indecisiveness and was amazing and very patient and chill. I worked with Brad who got me set up with my lease + move in items and he’s been very helpful and kind.My place is awesome and I absolutely love it and the location. The community is kind and quiet and the amenities here are great. I need to buy a basketball for the half court that’s here next to the pool!

    I have been at northland apartments since August of last year management team is wonderful they also live on the property as well as maintenance is really great Quick maintenance issues is gated in and is quiet. There’s a pool a gym we just got a vending machine and only takes credit and debit cards. The applying process is easy keyless entry so you have to get in with the code to your door washer and dryer hook ups to get them to your apartment, you either use the pad on the door or you can use your phone same as with the AC Brad was the one that helped me with everything

    Weve lived here for more than six years and the property management has been excellent. Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner the complex always feels safe fow walking around. So thanks go to Dana and more recently to Jamie for making our stay enjoyable, which included a free upgrade to our floors from carpeting to vinyl.

    Ive been here for 2 years and recently resigned for another year. Excellent location with regards to access to shopping, restaurants, entertainment etc.Great maintenance team who respond to any issues in a timely manner.There was an issue with laundry units being out of order, but luckily there are affordable laundry options nearby.Finally, really appreciate the team working the front desk; great communication and happy to answer questions - Brad in particular has been very helpful resolving any issues.

    Had lived in the Northland at the Arboretum for three years, and I think everything is nice there. Leasing Consultants Jordan and Brad are super helpful, so is the maintenance team. We had an issue with air conditioning and they were able to inspect quickly and replace it soon; all of my fix requests were handled well and in a good time manner; they also did satisfactory work for lease renewal and a few months extension. In addition, I was able to get some packages from their office one month after moving out. I would appreciate all staffs efforts there and had recommended this apartment to my friends who were looking for one in that region

    Thanks to Jordan for making our move smooth & promptly replying all our queries & concerns. Highly recommend her.Kayla & maintenance took care of all our requests , I have seen them working during weekends 👍.Apartments are nice with lots of storage, needs upgrades.We had some bugs issues but all is good now.Someone stole our unlocked bike from patio 😟, I would say keep your belongings safe if outside.Overall its a nice community & nearby to stores & shopping malls.

    In my life I moved from apartments to apartments before and the Northland at the arboretum is one of the safest places I have ever lived. It’s a really nice area. Very small miles when it comes to needing necessities and entertainment like the domain or H‑E‑B. The office, management and maintenance team are always on top with their work (not just saying that but I have seen them hustle on the job in person many many times) The environment is very beautiful during the day when I do evening walks from work to get my mind to ease I usually see dears and rabbits.My dad is the maintenance man here in this location and every time I talk to him on the phone it makes me so happy hearing how much he likes to get his work done my dad is in fact a workaholic, but he enjoys the people and his job. He gets nicely along with anybody (as long as you’re nice and maybe have a sense of humor lol) overall I can see that he’s very happy here. All I can say is thank you to the people who live here, and to the staff and management who have been so kind to him, because I just want him to be safe. - his youngest

    Ive loved my experience with the staff (Maintenance and Office), theyre friendly prompt and go above the call of service. For example, Brad has been so helpful any time I have needed something for work. Both Brad and Keyla have helped when I needed assistance carrying large boxes to my apartment as I couldnt do it on my own.Honestly, would give the full 5 stars if the front gates worked-and Im happy to edit this review once theyre fixed-as thats really the only issue Ive had with the complex.

    I just helped my daughter move into the apartments. I like the area for her and the complex is nice and clean. The assistant manager is helpful and accommodating. Ricey was great to work with. I am grateful the office is only a call away they are nice.

    Been living here for 7 years now and in 3 different units/buildings. Amazing area for day to day errands, easy access to 183/MoPac/360, any store you can think of for an errand is within 10 minutes.If youre not renting a Deluxe unit, expect the appliances to be very dated. The $75 addon for spectrum internet and TV is cool not to have another bill. Very rarely have outages. In unit laundry hookups is awesome.The office doesnt accept/hold packages, so if you are expecting something from USPS that doesnt fit in the mailbox it will be marked as Refused and returned to sender(at the discretion of the postal worker, rather than deliver to your door as they are supposed to). UPS/FedEx/Amazon all deliver just fine.Zero pest issues across my entire state in the complex across 3 different units (roaches bedbugs etc).Most residents seem to be working adults, so the complex is very quiet at night and Ive never had a problem with a loud neighbor. The walls/ceilings are pretty thick. If youre on the first floor youll hear people walking but other than that nada. The front doors slam hard if you let them swing closed freely. The landscaping crews run leaf blowers all day which is fairly obnoxious.Dont move into 3111 unless they remove the floodlight that bathes the patio in bright LED light rendering it unusable at night and fills the unit with basically daylight.In the winter storm of 2021, the complex did lose power and water for four to five days, but I had no pipes burst, no damage to property, and my unit never fell below 55 degrees inside.Maintenance is pretty speedy, and they are very respectful of your space and time when in the unit. Pretty funny too, Kayla(sp?) is my favorite.Id definitely recommend living here to anyone new to town. Rents have gotten crazy in general but the increases here have been reasonable and they are open to negotiating. The office staff is very helpful, especially Dana and Jordan.

    Great place to live and the employees are great! You’re going to want ask for Brad in the main office if you need anything at Northland. He will get it done. The maintenance team is prompt, professional, and reliable which is key when renting any apartment.

    We have been at Northland for over a year now and just re-signed our lease! In our year as tenants we have had no major issues in our second floor unit - and all minor (day to day wear and tear) issues are resolved quickly and efficiently by the wonderful maintenance staff. The leasing/office staff is beyond helpful and go above and beyond to make Northland a quality place to live - The staff approachable, kind and what make this place so wonderful. Special thank you to Jordan in the office for being so accommodating and helpful every time we see her!+ We always feel safe+ Friendly & helpful staff+ Great location+ Clean units (some recently renovated)+ Great floor plans+ Lots of walking areas for dogs & VERY pet friendly+ Parking+ Community events and specials+ Easy APP for paying your rent and making maintenance requests

    I like living here, for the most part. Some neighbors are loud at night; PSST! Not everyone has the weekend off and can sleep in the next morning!The office staff is great! Emily and Lori are my favorite people in the office. Lori always asks about my dog.😊 They are very helpful whenever there is an issue.The maintenance department generally responds quickly enough. We did have stairwell lights out for months upon months, and my neighbor and I did send several requests. (4, total over a 12 month period) Kind of scary at night. They installed new lighting fixtures throughout, so problem fixed. All the buildings were painted last year, and they look beautiful.The only problem I wish could be resolved is a playground of some sorts for kids. As it is, the kids have to ride scooters on sidewalks or in the streets and lots. Scary. They can’t really play in the grass because some pet owners are jerks and don’t pickup after their pets. It’s tough for kids to live here. You have to drive to the closest parks. That’s hard to do everyday.The pool being out last year was annoying, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Some of the gym equipment needs to be replaced, but there are nice trails to walk on outside.Apartment appliances could definitely use some updating, but they work. They’re just old and a bit ugly.For the location, it’s not a bad place overall.

    I just recently moved here and my experience so far has been nothing but great! I feel right at home especially with how much I felt welcomed by Brad. I moved from Wisconsin and he made the leasing process so smooth and answered all my questions. The staff here is great and if I ever need anything, I know I can reach out and Ill get some kind of answer. The location is perfect as I have everything I need within 5 mins. The apartments itself was also just what I expected and maybe even better from just looking at images online (since I couldnt see it in person, being from a different state). Would recommend!

    I lived at Northland at the Arboretum for 6 years and I am very glad I moved there. The management is really excellent, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Any issues or repairs that came up were quickly fixed. Plus they host events like getting residents reduced prices at the local pizzeria reduced.The complex grounds are very nice and quiet with scenic trees and a dog park. There are even some deer who meander through the place.The location is good near shopping and such along with quick access to the freeway. But its still far enough away you dont get the noise. And its right across the street from Rudys so you can smell the barbeque!The apartments are very-well designed with decent closet and storage space. They are also quiet and I never had any issues with neighbor noise even though I was on the second floor. The kitchens are great too with microwaves and a good amount of counter and cabinet space.One issue I had was the AC drip into my tub would be discolored, but that was no big deal. Another problem was dumb people leaving their trash beside the dumpster rather than throwing it inside, but thats not the apartments fault.I had to move for my job and I am already missing my old apartment. My new place is not laid out nearly as convenient or useable, and the fridges in Northland were bigger. I wish there was a Northland here in L.A.!If you are looking for a nice, comfortable apartment in north Austin at a good price, I would very much recommend you check this place out.

    I’m currently in the works of finding a new home while moving to the city. I spoke with Ms. Jordan and she was such a wonderful soul. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I also spoke with the new manager Carlos and was very pleased by their welcoming and assuring experience. Viewing the property i saw that it was well put together and very quiet, which I love. They are definitely at the top of my list for considering as being my new home.

    Since I have lived at the apartment I have noticed that we don’t have enough maintenance and it’s not fair for them and the tenants that live there every thing else is fine but to have 3 people trying to cater to over 200 people they need a break they need more maintenance people that to much for 3 people

    In overall, I had a good experience living at Northland Arboretum. The appliances is very very old and the things breaks frequently but the maintenance team is amazing and once you open the request they will solve asap. The utilities bill was kind of high - maybe because the building is old - depends on the month the avg for electric bill was 150 -200usd and 100usd for water (I was not home from 8h to 6h). The parking was good, never had issues to find place to park, the dog park was always clean, people from the leasing office was always super nice, I never had issues with packages or mail deliver. Something that was super annoying was the school bus that was honking every morning inside of the complex and I used to have noisy neighbors that was living upstairs and have strong steps and moving furnitures during the night.I just moved from this complex, there was no renewed one available for the time that I needed, their new floor plans are nice compared to others that I visited.

    I had a pretty good experience with Northland. The office staff was friendly, punctual with all requests, and had super reasonable policies. Maintenance was always timely- they usually came the same day I requested something. For how cheap they are, the apartments are amazingly nice. Recess/track lighting, microwave included in kitchen layout, updated bathrooms, etc. Really nice layout, and carpets/floors were in great conditions. It didnt look like those crappy 70s/80s apartments that havent been remodeled since they were built.A few negatives...we did have quite a few bugs considering the fact that they charge you for pest control. It wasnt an infestation or anything, but I killed a lot of crickets and spiders, and we continually had a lot of dead bugs near the door. It wasnt enough to have me worried but if you have a bug phobia it might be a problem for you. The other thing is HORRENDOUSLY HIGH electric bill. I mean, just ridiculous. I know it shouldnt have been that much. I was in a two bedroom paying around $120 a month in electric. My parents are in a three story house in Austin, using way more energy, and were paying under $100! So something was up with insulation or something. It didnt seem to matter how hard my roommate and I tried to conserve energy. Not sure if all the apartments are like that or just ours, but I couldnt believe the amount of money Austin Energy was sucking out of us.Overall, Id totally recommend this place. Everyones experience is different but I had a great time here and would have stayed had I not been offered a job outside of Austin!

    I have been a resident of Northalnd at the Aboretum for over 8 years. I am moving out now but only due to job relocation to another state. But I will state my experience has been so good I immediately researched for a Northland property in my relocation area.I have loved being a part of this community. My apartment always gets compliments from visitors and I am lucky enough to overlook a very green area from my balcony I step out onto each morning.The office team and the maintenance crew have been very responsive to every need or concern I have ever expressed. I have never had a delay is getting things fixed on a very timely basis. I never have to worry whether something is going to taken care of and done correctly the first time. And I love that the teams pretty much all know me by name and are always extremely friendly and care about assisting me.The pool and common areas are well,kept and the community tries to address needs as they arise. In the time I have lived here a dog park was added to address resident needs for their pets. Also fun and interesting community events are planned....many even featuring local Austin businesses which is always a HUGE plus if you love Austin like I do.Thanks to a great commmunity and a great team! You will enjoy living here in the center of so much activity at very reasonable rates....theater, shopping, dining....it’s all right here.

    Lived here July 2018- June 2019.Everything was good except it was really old and we had some roaches (my roommates and I were too lazy to ask for pest control -.-) my experience living in this apartment was great and maintenance requests or any questions were responded/answered promptly. Would have continued to live in the apartment but had to move to a different place due to roommate changes and starting school again. The location of the apartment is great - you have everything- HEB, restaurants, gym (24 fitness), close to great hills trail area - starbucks, barnes and noble, teapioca, etc. Parking was alright and neighbors were nice. We did have some issues with water bills for the first few months due to that weird water company but those were taken care of and gotten our credit back. other than that I can’t think of any issues. Would recommened this apartment(:

    This place is amazing the staff is awesome when it comes to helping us out if we really need it and they have the best maintenance crew I ever had the pleasure of working with, they come and fix issues very quickly and they are polite and friendly. My husband and I have been living here for a little over a year now and we love it. The only reason we will be moving is to start a family and our apartment is to small to house 3/4 people but other than that this place is amazing.

    Ive been at Northland for 2+ years (been in austin for 3 years now) and that just goes for saying how amazing the staff and the apartments are.LOCATION: It is set right on Jollyville and youve got Rudys within walking distance, several shopping centers, HEB, Walgreens ,Trader Joes, Starbucks and several other eateries within a 5 min drive and as the name goes you are down the road from the Arboretum shops.CAPMETRO: Northland is also located between a CapMetro park and ride (north bound) and a bus station thats about 3 blocks away from the complex.COMPLEX/APARTMENTS: The actual apartments are located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I never had any issues with safety or noisy neighbors, with that said, if you are looking for a party thriving, college setting apartment this isnt the place for you. It is very quiet neighborhood with families, retirees, older crowds etc and thats exactly what I was looking for. Youll have people enjoying the amenities on the property such as the pool but everyones pretty conscious and respectful of one another. There are also deers that stroll around the complex and that was another little favorite thing of mine.The apartments are spacious and maintained very well. I did not have any issues upon move in or during my stage. They are currently going through a renovation process and thats that their non-renovated units are in very good conditions (I had a non-renovated). Depending on your location you might get aMAINTENANCE: Maintenance is VERY quick with their work orders they are usually done within the day if you submit the order on time if not they are done on the following day. Jimmy (one of the maintenance men) is very courteous and helpful. He is one of those that makes sure to go above and beyond in his work and enjoys what he does, and that to me goes a long way.STAFF: During my stay there I never came across a single staff person who wasnt willing to help out or provide me with information. Everyone is very helpful and they always take notice to greet their residents.They definitely care about their residents and they always make sure that their line of communication is always open to their residents.Definitely recommend them!

    It is so interesting to see the different reviews about the same complex. After living here for almost 3 years, I call it home. The office staff has been great and always receptive to my concerns. They have been great to work with. The custodial staff is GREAT!! Always solved the problem; and, if not,they came back and took care of it. I would recommend this complex to anyone.

    Its crazy to see all the different reviews on here! I have lived here for a month now and absolutely love it. The staff is so nice and helpful. The maintenance is super fast at getting the job done, and right.     I just move to northland at the arboretum I just walk to the leasing office and I have AC problem and Brad Alexander interpreting me and asked me about the issue I get surprised he drove me all the way to the appartement to see the problem more than this he requested maintenance never happened to me in the past so far it’s a good sign
