We have enjoyed our 1st year here in our companies residence and have renewed our lease. Nice and quiet complex with a respectful demographic of residence. Staff is very polite and understanding of any issues you have, a plus is the location close to many restaurants and the Toyota Music Factory, also 1 minute from major freeways. Indoor parking and interior entrances is a huge plus for us. The monthly prices a very good also.

The apartment is overall a good value with improvements happening continuously. The office staff are fantastic.Sometimes work orders can take a bit, but will get done with follow up.The location is convenient and the Toyota Music Factorys traffic has minimal impact on entering / leaving.For the fire alarms mentioned by other reviews, they were an issue for awhile but seems to have been fixed.

2024: Ive been living here since early 2023. The new management is phenomenal. Constant renovations happening, any Maintenence requests I make are addressed quickly and resolved in a few days.I was hesitant to move in here due to the bad reviews, but I have had nothing but a great time living here.The management constantly holds apartment nights to get together in different ways (Halloween night, football wing night, holiday/EOY night, etc.)Great apartment with friendly residents too.

Ive been a resident for 7 months now and finally decided to write a review. I was hesitant to move here because of the ratings but Im so glad I followed my gut and moved. I cannot speak for everyone else but this is my personal experience only(1st floor life). I absolutely LOVE it here!Aesthetics/Location: My apartment is BEAUTIFUL and the location is the best in the area. Literally across the street from the music factory. I enjoy walking to go grab food or coffee whenever I feel like it or sitting out on the plaza enjoying the family friendly environment full of music and games. The only con about the location is when there are major events. It makes getting out and back into your own apartment a nuisance due to traffic control.(has only happened twice since Ive been here for the triathlon and a major concert.)Noise: I cannot hear anything from my neighbors at all. I dont know if its because of the high ceilings or the location of my specific unit but sometimes I forget I even have neighbors.Maintenance: Maintenance responds very quickly. Ive even had NON urgent issues fixed a lot quicker than I wouldve thought. (24-48hrs max). They are very nice and respectful of my space and privacy!Staff: I can only speak about Laura as Ive had personal dealings with her. SHE CARES! I had 2 recent personal situations one of which was very serious and I felt like she treated me like a real human being each time vs just a number on the books. She did not hesitate to ensure me everything would be taken care of. I did my part and she did hers...FAST!....no like record timing fast! She is honest, direct & to the point, yet compassionate.Overall cons: security gates need to be fixed as they have been broken for a while & pool is closed often due to various reasons.

As of July 2021, I will have been at this property for 2yrs. I’ve not had any major issues, I love the location, mostly because it’s close to restaurants, work, and the grocery stores. The Airport, Uptown, Deep Ellum are just a short Uber ride away. I plan on renewing in July, may change floor plan but it has been a great place to live for me. The maintenance tickets are done timely, just wish they would print on the maintenance ticket what they fixed when its left in the apartment. Also, I couldn’t agree more on the past management, horrible! You cant really say Iris is new anymore, but she has been amazing to work with…. Some of office staff still need a little attitude adjustment but overall, it’s a great place to live. Also, I looked at 13 properties in a 5-mile radius before picking this one. In my opinion, it was hands down the best square footage for the money.

I have recently moved into Monterra Las Colinas Apartments. I am unsure why the reviews rate it at 2.8 stars, but I find the services offered here and the place itself to be exceptional. I must commend the leasing office staff, specifically Amanda, Vivian, and Anthony, for going above and beyond in their assistance.

I am thinking of moving back here. Lived here back in 2009-2011. Place was pretty new then. Loved the amenities like the lap pool and boxing room. Surprised at some of the current reviews. Did the place get that bad over the years? I need to stop in for a tour.

Lve been living here for 2 years and love the location and amenities this apartment offers. Staff has been awesome and attentive to my apartment needs. Scott was my leasing agent and continues to follow thru on any concerns or questions I have. Holly our new manager is very approachable and has a enthusiastic outlook on her vision for Monterra. It was pleasing to hear some of changes like having the activity area open longer, and adding a ping pong table. Only problem I have encountered was with the towing company, and carpet cleaners. The staff, even our newest, has been very helpful and made living here comfortable.

Just moved in to Monterra at Las Colinas. The management has been super helpful! Laura and Marc provided excellent customer service on my leasing process. The community is getting better, new furniture, maintenance requests are very prompt, no issues with parking, and overall I have a very peaceful like in these apts. I’m glad I moved in!

The leasing office team is the absolute best! They went above and beyond to assure that my experience was as effortless as possible from the time I toured with Mark to calling up to the office and speaking with Rosa and Laura as my move in had to be pushed back! They we’re absolutely amazing! I’m so happy with my decision to move to Monterra! It has been so hassle free! Thank you all so much for the kind welcome!

I’ve lived here for 4 years. Year 3 was extremely difficult to be here, as old management let this place go and did not care to keep residents happy. Most of the negative reviews on here were written because of old management and staffing. Now that we have new management, positive changes are happening constantly. I’d say in the last 6-ish weeks of new management, at least 5-10 big changes have been made. The communication is stellar - we are consistently told of new changes and always asked for our feedback. I asked to sit down with new manager and she gave me as much time as I needed to air out my concerns. Within a week, all of my concerns had been addressed and she kept in communication with me about it all. In addition, many social events have occurred and other programs to show that we are valued as residents. Every time I contact management about concerns, I’ve learned they are already aware and on it. In just 6 weeks, my happiness at living here as tripled so I can only imagine 6 months from now. Some concerns listed in other reviews are being addressed but cannot happen overnight. As far as parking goes, it was clearly communicated over the summer what the new rules were. Before, I was lucky to even find a spot on my floor because non residents were parking here. Now, that problem is gone. My guests are annoyed to have to park on 5 and register but we are all aware that they are lucky to have a free option at all, as my sister lived downtown and I had to pay $8 for parking when I visited her. How fortunate our guests are to park at no charge!

AC has been down for a week now with temperatures reaching well over 84F inside the apartment due to poor air circulation, my windows and patio door have been open the entire time. Ive put in an emergency work order due to this heat causing issues with my diabetes but all I was told was that the threshold for this to be considered and emergency was outside temperature to be above 83F, even though the inside of my apartment is much warmer. My apartment is now infested with mosquitos and nats due to the doors being opened and is getting to the point where its unlivable. Currently looking into legal help for this issue. Theyre more worried about leaks in the game room vs anything else. Do not rent here.Update:They did provide a window unit, in the future I wish a little more communication between residents and staff were done, I wouldve been okay with them letting me know something was getting done, I didnt receive any info on what was getting done until after this review was posted, but my AC is up and running now.

Move here! This place is special :) After moving constantly for years for work, I have finally found a place to call home. Location is excellent, right across from the new Music Factory, Irving Convention Center and an 8 min walk from the DART Orange Line. Covered parking, secure access. Apartments, shared spaces, and grounds are beautiful! Amenities are well-kept and there are many perks to living here (outings at local restaurants, multiple pools, grills, multiple gyms, free bike rental, clubhouse, business center, concierge, etc.). From what I have gathered, Sentinel (Leasing Company) built the property in 2008 and still owns/manages it. This is SUPER important in this area because most places switch management every few years and it causes inconsistency in service and price.Now the staff :) The entire team is FANTASTIC! My leasing agent, Scott, was a dream, along with the rest of the leasing consultants. So funny and sweet and amazing at what he does! It is apparent that they work as a team to service the community. Jayne always stepped into help with moving logistics and what not when Scott was out of the office, even though I was not her client. Every team member at the front office exhibits the highest level of professionalism and customer service I have ever seen when it comes to an apartment community. Scott followed up with me throughout the whole paperwork/moving process, and was even there the day I moved in to check on me, give me a warm welcome, and walk through my unit with me. The apartment was spotless with new carpet and paint when I moved in. Estella, Kevin, and the entire maintenance/handyman/cleaning team left no stone unturned. It was the least stressful move of my entire life and I have moved QUITE a bit.Now that I have lived here several months, I can say I feel safe in my own home, I love the area in which I live (trails, shopping, dining, etc.), and maintenance is super fast. Most importantly though, I love that my neighbors and the maintenance staff exchange greetings with me down the halls and I adore catching up with the office downstairs when I pick up my packages at the concierge desk. Just to give you an example: my car battery drained the other day, and the entire team pulled together to help me because my friends were out of town and I needed a hand. They even had a car charger in the office! Kevin helped my car-illiterate self for over an hour. Scott and Jayne even came in to check on me. Thats really something. Certainly not your typical leasing consultants that abandon you after you sign on the dotted line. Monterra feels like home.And after all of that, it is worth every penny :)

Weve been here over a year and love it! The team is very helpful and aim to make this feel like home. We love the coffee in the rec room and the games. The community is mature and stable. Our only complaint is about the speed bumps-theyre excessive. If youre looking for an apartment that is more of a long term home, this is definitely the place for you.

HOLLY, Jane, Norma are UHHHmazing!!! the new management has really turned things around...Clean,Work order are addressed on time,Community involvement from poker night, bingo to gift wrapping and Donuts - who doesnt like donuts?They are helpful, and compassionate.I recommend Monterra for your family if you want a fun area to live with safety and comfort of feeling at home.Only bad thing? parking for guests is a bit inconvenient.

So far, I love everything about living here! It is so peaceful and we have a beautiful view from our balcony. As far as staff, Scott has been incredible from the moment he met him to view the apartment. My fiancé and I feel very welcomed to the community all because of Scotts excellent customer service. Everytime we see him, he asks how things are going and always is so genuine. Considering we are completely new to Texas, he has been so helpful in beginning to learn about the area. He is like the favorite uncle! He will always make you laugh and smile no matter what.Thank you Scott for everything !
