I have lived here almost a year and have loved every moment of it. The office staff is always friendly and helpful (special shoutout to Kevin for always going above and beyond).Direct access to a nice trail, great amenities, excellent communication from the office when things are going on around the apartment. I’ve never experienced better management from any other apartments.The apartment itself is spacious and gets great natural light. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Marquis!

I spent one year at Marquis, I wanted to come back and write a review so people like me can get some proper references especially when they’re new in town like I was last year 😅 Anyways I had zero issues, a beautiful walking trail good maintenance services, smiley faces, a good and well equipped gym a perfect and secure mail room and a nice management team. I received my deposit check last week and thought it’s time to write a review. Highly recommended. This is from my lovely patio view. Hope you enjoy your time there too! Good luck!

So far everything is good.I had a rough move in experience as the carpet smelled really moldy. But when I reported it they moved me to another unit and were very understanding.The apartment is nice but nobody cleans up their dog poop.I’m not sure the car wash works but I didn’t move here for it so I’m not concerned.The first floor has nice patios with gates out to the yard.The floors and walls are thin so you hear everything.Package room is easy to use and understand.Kevin was incredibly nice and helpful when moving. Fast approval process too.Excited to be here for the pool during the summer.

This place is great! Kendall made everything super easy while getting our lease ready and made us feel confident we were moving to a good place. Since we have moved in everything has been great. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests and the dog park is huge and everyone is super friendly! The staff is great and go out of their way to make sure we are taken care of.

We feel so lucky that we get to live here! It’s quiet, surrounded by nature, great for dogs, and in a great location. Not to mention the amazing staff who are always there when you need them. The maintenance staff never takes longer than a day or two to come over and usually are in and out in 5 minutes with the problem solved. Love it here! Won’t move until I’m ready for a house.

I moved in to MQS over a year ago, and recently renewed my lease. The maintenance team shows up the same day as your request (usually) and the staff is always willing to help. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to call the leasing office, but they respond to emails within 24 hours almost always. I enjoy living here and recommend a tour if you are searching for a place in DFW. It’s great value for what you pay (also the pools are always super clean but no hot tub)

I have been searching up and down for apartments in DFW and finally came across this property and immediately felt at home. From the time I came in for my initial tour I was greeted by the amazing staff and they answered any and all questions I had. You can tell they really take pride in taking care of this property and its tenants. Kendall was so helpful in answering any questions and hesitations I had. This is how all apartments should be!!

The place looks really nice, and the staff there were friendly. We visited a 1b1b yesterday. Its big, the kitchen has 5 burners and it even has a fireplace. We eventually didnt choose this place, cuz its a bit far from school and washer and dryer cost an extra $50/month, but still seems like a nice place to live 👌

Did TONS of research before finally choosing here. Depending on the building, could be noisy (used to live in building 12 in front of the trash compactor, was horrible with heavy traffic); however, the apartment row with woods behind is super quiet and calming, my friend commented like a resort - if privacy and quietness are your thing. The LO staff are always polite and efficient. Overall a great experience. No complaints.

Update: Been here for about 5 months now and this might be my favorite complex I’ve ever lived in. Have been blessed with good (quiet) neighbors, and the complex and grounds are taken great care of. It’s admittedly not the most modern place I’ve lived, but I don’t care. All appliances are lovely and work well (nothing is *old*, the complex just isn’t ultra modern like some extremely high priced complexes are). The few times I’ve had to go to the office for issues (self-imposed, like accidentally locking myself out of my own apt lol), the front desk staff has been so helpful and friendly and have helped out immediately. Such a convenient location (close to DFW airport, downtown Grapevine, mall). I feel really safe here, which I appreciate.Original review: Not a resident yet, but I did tour today, so this perspective is just coming from a potential tenant. The grounds look beautiful and the property seems to be very well maintained. Office/gym/pool look fantastic. Sarah S. was great to work with through email and on the tour. I thought I had settled on a unit layout prior to coming in to see the complex, but when I got there and talked about what I was looking for, Sarah did a great job answering my questions and we actually found a layout that better suited me. Appreciate that she was helpful in finding something even better than what I was initally looking for. Hoping to move in next month- if so, I’ll update my review to reflect my experience as a tenant!

Apartment complex is overall very nice and quiet, neighbors never bothered us, nice trail around building.Parking was an issue for us due to the location (building 1), which they let you know before you sign the lease that its limited around that area. But OMG it sucks lol.Our main issues were maintenance entering our home without us being there when submitting request (which stated please call if no one home). Even after speaking with manager twice if we had a request for something and someone wasn’t home, they would come in. If we were there they would knock once, if no response they would open the door. I could literally be in the shower or worse naked but they did not respect it as people’s home. I was only called about twice otherwise they would come in or attempt to. I found them inside once, with the front door wide open. I had mosquitos for days. SO disrespectful, yes it is your job but you do not walk into people’s home like it’s yours.The second biggest problem were crickets, they were EVERYWHERE during the summer time no matter how many times doors were “sealed” and pest control came. Better solutions needed for sure.However, overall the people at the office were pretty accommodating especially after a tree fell on my car, and AC not working on the day we rented the house club and it was 90 degrees inside. Not to mention, letting us extend our lease a few times by a few months, super understanding and accommodating.

I have lived here since January of 2023 and so far, have LOVED it! The apartment is great, people are friendly, the amenities are very nice, and the staff is phenomenal! I had a few maintenance issues when I first moved in, and it was all taken care of within a week. Very responsive and helpful! The only downside I will say is if you live in one of the buildings close to the front of the complex, there is NO parking after 5pm unless you have a garage. I was interested in renting out carport space, but there are none close to our building! That is the only issue, otherwise we have loved living here so far!

After over a year living at Marquis at Silver Oaks, I can say that it’s been my best apartment experience. The staff are helpful and kind, communication is up front and honest, and the apartments are beautiful. The few times I’ve submitted maintenance requests, they’ve been handled quickly, and the nearby trail is a lovely, shaded spot for a walk. The pools, grounds, and fitness center are also kept looking clean and cared for.

My son and I have lived here for 4 months now, I wanted to wait before posting a review, to get the real feel. I absolutely love it here! The complex has a walking trail, a dog park, and even a car wash on-site. I do not own a dog, but love seeing others walk AND pick up after their dogs. Jordan Brewer was great throughout the whole leasing process & shes still available to this day responding immediately to emails whether its a simple question or maintenance request. Maintenance responds within 24 hours & do a great job. For me and my sons birthdays, they left a b-day card at the door, we were so surprised and pleased. Overall great staff, great apartment. I Love it here!! ❤

Not sure what happened to my previous review but I had to come back and give the staff and maintenance all the praise! Jordan and Jenna are amazing. I leased from Jordan and she really took care of my move in. Anytime maintenance was needed, they showed up quickly and fixed any issue I had. I had an issue with my final bill amount and Jenna called me and explained. I appreciate how great the entire staff was. It was a pleasure to stay at such a complex and definitely to call it home. I moved out of the area but I definitely would recommend to all in the future.

I have enjoyed living at these apartments. They are in a great location, maintenance takes care of requests very quickly and is generally an enjoyable place to live. However, if a unit becomes available near building 1 I would NOT recommend living here. The parking situation by our building is atrocious. If you drive by the complex at night you will see how many people have to park outside of the leasing office because there is no parking by the building. This is especially frustrating because management has done very little to alleviate the situation. We requested to get a discount our monthly rent to make up for this as I don’t think it’s fair for us to pay the same as everyone else when 60% of the time we have to park outside of the gates, having to walk farther and making ourselves and our cars less safe. Management refused. They agreed to send an email to people living on the 2nd floor to park in or in front of garages but this has done little to alleviate the issue. I also sent an email about an abandoned car that has been in a parking spot for months and never received a reply. I am very frustrated by this situation and will change my rating lower if nothing is done to alleviate it soon.

I have never been happier in an apartment! I’ve been apartment living for 25 years across 3 states so I have experience. From the moment I met Jordan (my rental agent) to now, a month into my lease, I am completely happy! When I stumbled on this complex, I was 2 weeks into a desperate search after finding out my roommate would be moving out at my last apartment in The Colony. I was frustrated. I had it narrowed down to 3 complexes. They all offered a lot but they all each missed on one big thing I wanted. One day I was driving to work and kinda stumbled on Marquis Silver Oaks. It was unplanned and not researched. Jordan was a breath of fresh air! She took the time to go over all of the things I was looking for and she delivered! The community is so warm and welcoming. The apartment I finally decided on is perfect. It has everything I was looking for. After moving in, I pointed out a short list of things I’d love to have fixed and within 24 hours they were all addressed and made perfect by their AMAZING maintenance team. I look forward to being a long term resident at Marquis Silver Oaks! Thank you Jordan and thank you to the top notch maintenance team!

We have lived here for a year and a half. We have been extremely happy with the complex and staff. Any time weve needed anything, they are very prompt. Our apartment is spacious with a great kitchen. Management doesnt tolerate people not picking up after dogs or letting them run off leash. The few times we have needed something repaired or replaced, they have fixed within 24 hours. We love the dog park and appreciate the updates theyve made with grass and a dog water fountain. They are consistently updating things around the complex. The pools are kept clean, the grounds always look great. The trash compactor does overflow on the weekends, but thats really not the fault of management. I see them out taking care of it first thing on Monday morning. We fee; very safe here and its generally very quiet. We love the proximity to the walking path behind. Overall, we have no complaints and plan to stay longer!

We lived here from Aug 2019-Feb 2023 in a 1 bed/1 bath and then a 2 bed/2 bath, both with attached garages. We always had prompt responses from maintenance when needed (truly only a handful of times over those 3.5 years) and all interactions with office staff were always positive. The location is great to get to Fort Worth or Dallas and the apartment grounds are very well kept. We loved living here!

My partner and I came to Texas for the first time in our lives to do apartment hunting so that we could move to the state. While the other 13 apartments that we looked at were nice, we kept coming back to Marquis at Silver Oaks as our number one choice. The leasing consultant on-site, Jordan Bower, is so incredible and made our move and choice so easy! It was a no-brainer to move here and honestly, we havent regretted it once. The maintenance team is so fast and helpful and there are so many kind people who work for this community that we appreciate so much. We are very happy to be living here!!!

I have lived here at the Marquis since 2019 and I love it! The leasing staff are attentive and thoughtful and even do kind gestures like random treats or Birthday cards for residents. Throughout the Pandemic and catastrophes that have occurred we always felt very supported and cared for even in such a large community. The location is perfect considering we are close to a major airport and plenty of activities to fit any lifestyle. We’ve made several life changes over the years and we were able to switch units with no hassle at all. The units are maintained beautifully and they are spacious. Highly recommend moving here!

Great place to stay long term. The location is in the middle of DFW, amenities are updated, attached garages with room for storage, and close to the lake & nature trail. Also the room I selected was fully updated!Jordan did a fantastic job setting everything up, and she was so friendly and helpful. She answered all the questions and was not pushy on making a decision.Go schedule a visit with Jordan and see for yourself! You won’t find another place like this in the city with this much room and a garage for a price they are offering today.

Since that time I have not had one issue and the ones I have had were given immediate attention. So far of live living here and just signed another 12 month lease.

It really is a nice place to live. Its super quiet. There isnt dog poo everywhere in the grass. I never had to worry about someone stealing things out of my truck. The property is well maintained. Parking isnt an issue. As far as the property goes its basically perfect. I left because the price of rent went way up to where its cheaper to live in a hotel, the month-to-month was $2400 when I current rent was $1183 going to $1400, and the options for rent were only 10 to 16 month leases, and only 18 days to decide before the 60 day notice was due.

Marquis makes you feel right at home.*I received a birthday card from them and that made me feel special ! Thank you to all of the staff !*They had an event earlier in July . They served hot dogs , burger etc. ❤️ The staff was kind.*Maintenance is on top of everything .* Marquis property is always well kept up. Pool cleaning and mowing the property lawn*Pest control ( hornets, wasp etc) comes right out to spray .

Been living here for almost a year, and I really enjoy the amenities, that the staff are always pleasant and accommodating, and that the grounds are well kept. Our apartment is beautiful, and we have had our maintenance issues (mostly minor things) taken care of immediately. Parking can be a little tight sometimes, but 9 times out of 10, Im able to find a spot right by my staircase. Really for the price and the way youre taken care of, you cant ask for better.

I was very impressed with this community from the very first phone conversation I had with the office staff. My husband and I looked at about 10 other places before leasing here, and our experience here has exceeded the any experience weve had elsewhere. The office staff is professional and prompt at responding to our needs. The maintenance staff is also very friendly and they respond quickly to every little request weve had. They have even taken care of issues overnight for us. The apartment has a lot of different kinds of amenities: 2 pools, fitness center, business center, walking trail, dog park, tennis & basketball courts, and a movie theater! Our apartment itself looked great when we moved in and it was super clean (which was a huge relief as we had been travelling in from out of state for two days!) Our garage is perfect and has a huge storage area in it. Plus, this apartment is located in the perfect area. Grapevine is an awesome city with lots of fun things to do. The location gives us close access to major highways. Overall, we have loved it here!

This was our first place we called home in Texas. I loved the trail that goes all the way to the mall. I loved their awesome swimming pools. It was nice having a little car wash in the complex. The ladies in the front, specially Ashley, Jenna, and Natalie always went beyond their duties and helped whenever they could. Maintenance always was prompt and courteous. I dealt with Felix and Arturo(?) often. Apartments were roomy. We were in the third floor and had vaulted ceilings that made the place feel enormous. There were some things Id wish they changed or improved however. Wouldve loved laminate no matter what floor. I understand noise issues with no carpet but I heard they made some noise canceling laminate. Also, I wouldve loved a kid park. There was a big dog park but no playground. Unfortunately, we had to move due to family financial issues but I wouldve loved to stay. If this is within your budget, I would definitely choose this place!

Really nice staff and excellent maintenance. We lived there for 2 years in a quiet, nice atmosphere. Our neighbors were nice and were mostly quiet. Maintenance will fix everything, if not in an hour or less, within 24 hours. The trails and nature views were a huge plus for us. We would have stayed here if the prices were suitable for us in a 3 bedroom.Main issues are parking, trash and the pool. Parking is really just a nightmare, especially after 530 pm on any day. The trash company doesnt always pick up and tenants dont use the garbage bins/follow the rules. The pools are more often than not dirty.

Disclaimer: I am of the belief that 3 stars implies an average experience, or otherwise, that expectations are met but not exceeded.Marquis at Silver Oaks, my home for a little over half a year now, has been a great living experience, and deserves a 4.5 out of 5. The staff are friendly, the amenities included are nice, and the perks (such as being pet friendly), are excellent as well.For example - shortly after moving in, I was having heating issues, and the staff assigned that the rank of emergency, so each time the issue arose, personnel came out to perform a repair on the heater. When the problem did not get fixed (due to a sediment issue), they replaced the heater, and as such, I have not had any issues from that moment on. This is exceptional service.The sole complaint I have is that insulation is almost non-existent. This, unfortunately, is something of a Texas problem, Ive been informed by friends and coworkers, and while I dont mind not having insulation to keep the heat in (although it can also help keep the cold in, too, which would lead to lower electricity bills!), the main issue is sound. People running up and down the hall or stairs? Almost sounds like the doors open, so clearly I can hear it. Peoples dogs barking from outside - same issue. This is honestly fairly low on the totem pole of complaints, especially since there are enforced quiet hours (from 10 PM to 6 AM), but it is something to bring up. I dont mind animal sounds - I expect such in a community location that has pets. But it is a little frustrating to hear noises so often throughout the day so clearly, and Ive been looking into different options into providing some sound cancellation.Overall, though, Im quite happy with my accommodations, the staff, etc, and again, if Google let me give half stars, Marquis at Silver Oaks would be a 4.5/5.

Overall a good living experience. The rent is a little expensive, but I do appreciate the friendly staff and occasional community events we have. Jordan was the staff member I leased with and she has been very friendly and helpful since the day we toured. There are problems with raccoons knocking over/eating trash, but that’s sort of part of living by a forest area. I’ve had some pest issues as well but nothing major. The apartment is very close to gas stations/Starbucks which is a nice plus. This is also a sort of nit-picky issue, but the phone system is sort of frustrating to use since the menu system is redundant and it takes a lot of dialog to find out they aren’t available. Overall though, I am relatively satisfied living here.

Having lived at this residence for three years, it truly saddens me to leave. This is the best property to live on in regards to accommodating needs and providing a quick turn around to maintenance requests. Erin and Jenna have been incredible management for this property. Theyre excellent at providing answers and solutions to issues Ive had in the past. This property is incredible at their involvement with the community. They provide a lot of residential functions. If it werent for my job relocation, I would be renewing a lease here for years to come. INCREDIBLE STAFF! BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY! Clean property with many amenities. Again, thank you to the marquis silver oaks team for being the kindest staff and hardworking team ive come across.

Love this place! Staff is amazing and extremely responsive. Maintenance is very quick when needed. The overall area is clean, quiet and SO peaceful! The apt is huge with an awesome balcony. Upgraded all around and definitely worth every penny.Update 2/27/23 - I moved out back in Oct. absolutely wonderful staff. No extra charges, questions, nothing! Just a simple “we’re sad to see you go but we understand.” We needed a bigger space (currently in almost a 1700 sqft townhome) and they were very understanding. Apt living has gotten very expensive! But Marquis is definitely a good spot to look for a friendly environment.We had issues with folks not picking up after their dogs every so often but management was pretty good about sending notices. Maintenance was always around usually within 24 hours but at least 48 hours. Staff was attentive. The gym updates were great we just didn’t get the chance to use them before we left! I lived at the Marquis for about 2 1/2 years and would have stayed if it was what we needed. We just out grew out space!If there were ever incidents on the property, the staff was great about informing the community and keeping updates as needed. The dog park was great. Most dogs were friendly and playful. When they weren’t, owners were good about giving the heads up and leaving.I would still highly recommend the Marquis! One of the best living experiences and more importantly, moving out with no hiccups!

Ive lived here for a little over a year now and I can definitely say that this place is a dream come true.The staff is always friendly and attentive, the place is well kept and nice looking. Its in a great location, close to the mall and the highway, but not too noisy. And the scenery is breathtaking, especially in spring. Theres a gorgeous walking path with a dog park and a lazy creek I often see people fishing in.This place is amazing. If youre thinking of moving here, youre moving in the right direction.

I have lived here for over a year now. I love this complex. Everything about it! They are kind and considerate - the apartment is safe and well lit. The staff has always been so awesome - they dont knit pick over things but they hold strong when an issue occurs that you are concerned about. Overall just had such a wonderful experience. Small issue where my renters insurance wasnt sent to the office the day it expired, I sent it the following day, and they charged me a $75 fee that couldnt be removed but even with that issue (only this one issue since Ive been living there) I would refer this apartment complex to any of my friends and family! Quiet apartments with respectful neighbors. The maintenance staff are always working hard to keeping the grounds looking great. These apartments have a great workout facility albeit a little small, but great equipment. The apartments also have a great walking trail and dog park, my wife and I love it here.

Ive been living at CWS properties for several years and have always been happy with the customer service and teams. Marquis at Silver Oaks is no exception! The manager is one of my favorites Ive worked with and she has put together a great team. Maintenance has been quick to service my requests and efficient in their resolutions. The unit upgrades being offered give me the interior comforts I want but at a more garden style property. Living near the creek with the walking trails was a huge bonus as we have 2 dogs. Another plus of living here is that they are SO pet friendly. All in all I am really happy we made the move.

I lived there for a couple of years. The office staff was ok. They were all really nice. The maintenance was great. They fixed things really promptly. I rarely had maintenance issues. In fact, one even offered to help me with car trouble. The apartment was really quiet. I only heard my neighbor once the entire time I lived there. The neighbors were awesome and made the place a wonderful community. Everyone was really nice and looked out for each other. The downsides were the traffic and parking. The construction was just starting when I moved away. The construction and location made rush hour traffic pretty slow. If you get home after about 8pm, make sure you are not wearing heels. You will have to park a pretty good distance away, unless you have a garage. Personally, it was one of my favorite communities. I would totally move back if I was ever in the market for an apartment again.

The staff is VERY friendly and helpful; our leasing agent went above and beyond whenever we had questions leading up to our leasing period, and we had a lot of questions. The complex itself is very large, but nicely taken care of with many useful amenities and a general sense of community. Management hosts weekly breakfasts on Saturdays for the entire community, plus extra activities. There are two swimming pools to accommodate a large number of tenants, a car wash bay, a tennis court, a basketball court, a long walking trail...Its great! I only gave 4 stars because our apartment didnt feel move-in ready. The carpets had been cleaned, but were still very dirty as if they hadnt been vacuumed first. But, again, the management staff was very helpful.

Its been a great place to live so far. I just re-upped my lease and was able to move into a different apartment within the complex that offered a garage and more patio space. The staff is very personable- many of the maintenance guys know my dog by name. The apartment is warm. The appliances and countertops are convenient and modern. The price is par for the course- we picked living here over some of the other complexes in the area based on a combination of price, comfort and amenities, and we just resigned... I probably couldve just typed that last sentence and been done with it 😉. -Happy tenant

3rd floor has large vaulted ceilings, large balconies, and there is plenty of parking available for free. The bathrooms have a large vanity so two people can share one vanity, large bathtub as well. This is by FAR the best apartment complex Ive ever had the pleasure of living in. The staff are absolutely incredible, the grounds always well kept, and dont even get me started on how on top of everything maintenence was! We never had to wait more than a day for a maintenence request. Weve never had any issues with neighbors, everyone was so warm and inviting. Even after moving out the staff still go above and beyond to work out any concerns you might have. If we werent buying a house of our own we would have gladly stayed in this community for years to come. If youre on the fence about moving here do yourself a favor and just do it, you wont regret the decision!

I just spent 4 days watching my sons pets at his complex. Could not step 5 feet in any direction without finding animal Poo.Brought pet to my Marquis apartment for one day and during my walks, did not encounter any Poo. We have a wonderful pet run and plenty of green space to enjoy time with our pets.Thank you to the management who encourages residents to do the right thing and to my wonderful residences who clean up after their pets. Mgmt provides and stocks the Poo bags in many locations to make it convenient and not a burden.Simple things add so much happiness.
