I’ve lived at Marquis Crown Ridge for almost two years now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The view from my apartment is absolutely stunning, and it’s something I look forward to every day. Whenever I’ve needed assistance, the front office ladies have been amazing. They’re always on top of things, very friendly, and genuinely happy to help. It’s been such a pleasant experience living here, and I would definitely recommend this place to my own family if they were looking for a place to live!

This is my current home and i absolutely LOVE it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Kat is on top of everything and is quick to address any mishap. The maintenance is very professional and quick. I’ve lived at many other apartments and this has been my favorite. ❤️

Moved in at the end of June and have had nothing short of the best interactions with the leasing agents and their maintenance crew. Our ac unit needed to be replaced to work at its peak performance, and the turn around was immediate. The crew came out and loaned us some portable window units while they got a new unit installed the next day. We had a comfortable, cooled living space very quickly. The gym has great equipment and a good range of everything you’d probably ever need from a commercial gym, I even canceled my membership. The pool is nice and well maintained and never crowded or loud. People are respectful and pick up after their pet from what I’ve seen around our building. A very pet friendly community, where everyone is out and about walking around the complex. it’s nice to see all the cute pets! Can’t hear the neighbors around us, although we do live on the fourth floor (elevators in the building are a huge reason why we moved here) price is the best in the area for sure as well. So happy we chose this complex

Great place to live at, convenient location, average staff. Only say that cause there’s rarely resident events or food trucks or just interaction in general. Sunsets are pretty nice out here. Not too many bugs but have heard bobcats in the trees. Coral snakes in the dog park. Only bring these up as an obvious HELLO YOURE IN THE HILLS. THERES GONNA BE CRITTERS. Neighbor’s horses are friendly @ the dog park too

My husband and I have recently moved here. We love it! Brealy was super sweet and nice and helpful in finding the unit we truly enjoy living in. The surroundings are filled with trees and hills and a giant horse field which give the sense we are living in a villa far from city, so peaceful and quiet. Yet every place like grocery stores, mall, bars and all are easily accessible. We highly recommend this place and were very happy with the management team especially Brealy throughout the whole process!

Been about two years and do not plan on moving, i love these apartments , such a quiet and home feeling complex. And the ladies and the office and maintence are super nice and helpful. Only thing i dont like is that the gym is not open 24 hours but hopefully that is sonething they will change in the future.

Nestled in the heart of San Antonio, were grateful to the entire Crownridge at Marquis team for creating a haven were proud to call home.

First of all I have to say kudos for being handicapped accessible! I just found myself needing to utilize these ramps and elevators. Perfect apartment complex if youre looking for wider doorways, no carpet THROUGHOUT the entire 2/2 apartment. Kitchens are beautiful and spacious. Have to have your garden tub! Right now upgrades are being made to the pool, set to open end of April. I believe for the area, the amenities and floorplans...this hidden quiet gem is a great place to call home...not just an apartment. (Tiffany in the office is the best! Made the whole process so simple.)Will update as I live here. 😁

Absolutely awesome. Move in was smooth and management (especially Catherine) has been nothing but friendly and patient regardless of how their day is going. Apartment pretty clean upon move in with the exception of some food being stuck in the dishwasher system so I contacted management and they almost immediately got someone in maintenance to come over and clean it despite being short staffed. Maintenance was also very nice and went the extra mile to clean my garbage disposal and change out my sink sprayer head since it was working improperly.Ive lived here for 2 months and my experience here has been mainly quiet, peaceful and secluded. The only noise I hear is neighbors dogs barking every now and again. My only complaint is that there is a lot of dog poop in the small grass areas of the parking lot, but I am sure this is hard to maintain as many tenants here seem to own dogs.

Just like any other apartment complex you’ll have those few minor issues with pets and residents, over all the staff is quick to respond or handle any questions or concerns. Our neighbors are courteous and we really hardly ever hear them.As a young family we feel safe here and we appreciate that above everything. We have some great community amenities like a fire pit, pool, and sand volley ball. They’re really great areas to utilize for family gatherings.

My family moved into crown ridge two months ago and have had nothing but a fantastic experience. The layout of our two bedroom is amazing, the kitchen is huge, and you can hardly hear your neighbors which is always a concern while apartment living. Office staff is always very helpful and kind and we just had two maintenance requests that’s were handled very quickly. Sam with maintenance is very personable and friendly and really cared about getting our issues taken care of. It’s quiet in this area and the views are beautiful. We will definitely be long term residents!

I have been a resident of these apartments now for almost 3 years and I have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is very personable and will go above and beyond to meet their residents needs. I personally have experienced this kindness and gratitude from the staff. I know sometimes there are occurrences which may take place that will upset some people, however we are all human. The grounds are always very well maintained. The management is always setting up events to bring our community closer. The manager (Amelia) is beyond awesome. She takes every concern that a resident may have personal and will see to it that she does her best to meet the needs of every resident. She is patient, diligent, and very kind. I know a lot of people may post negative reviews, but that seems to be the only time someone will write a review, when they have a bad experience, so I am her to shed some light on the norm of this complex. I am here to say from a tenured residents point of view that Crown Ridge Apartments is an awesome place to live, not only because of the beauty of your surroundings or amenities, but because of the people that run the complex......Shout out to Anna and Amelia for the superior assistance with making our transfer to a larger unit as smooth as possible, knowing we had a lot on our plate with the arrival of our first child, you both were helpful beyond what one could expect from their apartment staff. My boyfriend and I are very happy here. We have been living here for two years and dont want to leave. We not only have an amazing view, but it is also extremely peaceful. With any complaint or problem we have the management has always been there to help us in a fast and professional manner.Our animals love it here too. My dog loves hanging out at the dog park, along with going on long walks around the property. They recently put in more poop bags so it makes it easier to clean up my dogs mess. My cat loves hanging out on the patio while I have coffee in the morning.We live on the top floor so the ceilings are 10 feet. The windows are a great size and in our floor plan there are enough to let in a lot of natural light. I dont know how the windows are on other floor plans, but we have the biggest 2 bedroom.I would say come and view before you make a decision. The price is great for the location, and we feel safe here.

Weve lived here for 2.5 years and while weve had certain circumstances come to pass that the management has done their best to take care of, it has been an overall good experience. Its a quiet apartment complex in a beautiful area of town. The maintenance staff, especially AJ, is really great. He goes above and beyond what is requested and is always respectful. He has solved any issues that come up in a timely way and does his work in a way that shows true interest in the work. For apartment complexes, its really the staff that makes the difference. Its the reason weve stuck around for so long despite some unfortunate issues with having kids in small areas like these. Definitely recommend the apartments though. Management and staff are always willing to go the extra mile.

I love my new apartment home here. The staff here have been so helpful and caring, and me and my family are grateful for that. I love the property. They do an outstanding job keeping up the grounds. This location is great too with easy access to I-10 and 1604. Fiesta TX, The Rim, and The Shops at La Cantera are all right around the corner. It’s also very quiet and peaceful here.

This is a beautifulllll complex! So well taken care of and the front office staff are absolutely the BEST! I worked with Patience specifically and she went above and beyond to make sure I was going to be 100% satisfied with my move. I come here to visit my best friend who lives here all of the time over the past year. It’s always fun visiting because everyone will help you out. The staff keep the environment upbeat and it is awesome how much they make this place feel like home. We both went in on a super busy day and Patience still answered all of his questions. I’ve spent one full year of witnessing consistently superior service here. After I am done with my lease at my current place I am for sure moving to Marquis at Crown Ridge. 6 stars.

Apartments are clean and quiet. I don’t really ever hear my neighbors, and I love the location. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a new home.

Great place to live! However, I understand there are certain amenities we don’t have due to the situation you all had a while back, but to not be able to ever use the gas grills because they’re either broken (which I have already reported 3 times), or they never have propane refilled in them. This is one of the few amenities we are offered and for it to still not work? It’s summer and I do plan on barbecuing more than usual. There’s also no lights around the gas grills after 8PM.

Ive been here nearly two months now and its really a great complex. Nestled back in a beautiful/quiet wooded area. Has a dog park with a gated area I can let my dog loose in too. They are currently renovating the pool area and have emailed us to let us know they are adding a nice covered grill area as well.Regarding the office and personnel: Giselle and Tiffany were absolutely terrific. Incredibly polite, courteous, and very attentive. Thanks!

I have lived at this complex for 3 years and Patience and Tiffany have done such a great job of being consistent and at the top of their game. The events they have hosted have been so much fun to attend and they truly just want to get to know their residents. Also whenever i need something they are there to help with open arms. Bobby and Sam have been amazing additions to the maintenance team. Even though i rarely had anything that needed to be fixed, whenever i did he has taken care of any issue as fast as possible even if the work needed to be contracted. All of their communication is so strong and i am never left in the dark about a situation. I have always felt safe and its honestly so great to come home to peace and quiet. The staff definitely work as a team but they also work as family and you can tell they are unified under one goal and thats to make sure you feel at home. Thank you for giving me such a great experience here, i really mean that from the bottom of my heart.

I would recommend this place to anyone! I have renewed my lease twice and will continue in doing so. The staff is friendly, attentive and prompt when it comes to service. I’ve never been bothered or had to complain about anything. The maintenance team is friendly, helpful and clean. Whether I need a bulb changed or drain unclogged - I can count on the job to be done within 48 hours. I’ve noticed during certain times of the year (summer especially) parking can be scarce, so I’d suggest paying the extra fee for a reserved parking if you have the means. I enjoy the parks and trails out here, and not to mention - the free fireworks show every night!

The green spaces were very beautiful and it felt like we were in the country with close access to the city and UTSA. The maintenance team was amazing: very friendly, prompt and professional. Recently moved out due to a change in jobs,I went through two management companies, the newest CWS started a bit rocky, but these past few months have gotten some new employees who are extremely attentive and caring. Patience is the kindest management staff I think I’ve ever encountered at my 5 apartments.The complex is nestled nicely to provide nature, views, and yet have conviencence of 1604 and i10. It is always clean and the new renovations to the pool and fitness center are very nice.I would say parking is their only downside is that during holidays and some weekends parking in the complex especially near the front can be hard to come by close to your unit.Overall I enjoyed my time at Marquis at Crown Ridge and would recommend the management team especially Patience to anyone.

Being displaced from your home is never easy. From the moment we walked into Marquis at Crown Ridge to inquire about temporary, short-term housing, we were met with the most gracious staff. Patience Webb, the Assistant Community Director, is INCREDIBLE! What an asset she is to the CWS Team! Patience is fitly named, as she sat with us for quite some time, learning of our story and how we found ourselves needing temporary placement. She not only listened; she was empathetic, compassionate, and went above and beyond in trying to find the right fit for our family. In the end, having absolutely nothing to do with the service we received at Marquis Crown Ridge, we chose to rent a single family home. It just suited our needs and the medical needs of our daughter more closely. I just can not say enough about how friendly EVERYONE at this property is. We met several people; from the front office staff to the maintenance crew. It truly felt like a family community! Thank you again for your warm reception and genuine care over our family while we were in your presence! We sincerely appreciate the human connection of this wonderful leasing team. This review comes 7 months since the signing of my lease. I will keep my review updated as time goes on and Ill adjust my review accordingly.Starting Dec. 2016 I was apartment seeking, especially with the complexes in this area because I wanted to stay in this area of the city. I absolutely love this part of San Antonio. So Im big about reading reviews before considering a place of business. I almost did not consider this complex due to the reviews but a small part of my gut was telling me to give it a chance. I saw the website for this complex (back when it was Pegasus management company and was called Crown Ridge). From the start the staff, Chase, Martin, Amelia, Maria were all excellent. I never had issues communicating with them. They were always prompt in returning calls or answering questions I had about the leasing process.Due to their polite customer service, it made me feel more comfortable about moving forward in the process because after viewing the apartment, I was very satisfied with the floor plan and complex.My original move in date was Jan 4, however that was delayed about 2 days because the contractors placing new flooring in were still working. This was a little bit of an inconvenience however I was flexible and ok with it since it wasnt urgent to move out of my previous residence. Plus I would rather the contractors do the job right the first time instead of rush it and have sloppy work. My rent amount for that month was adjusted accordingly for those two additional days which I thought was fair and appreciated that.The grounds are kept up and usually do a great job. The only issue with that is some pet owners do not like to clean up after their dog(s). I am also a dog owner and clean up after my dog, but you always get a few bad apples that arent as responsible. I would not put this blame on management as they do send out periodic reminders to the residents to please clean up after your pets.Maintenance is good about taking care of work orders in a timely manner (not that I have had a lot of work orders because I seldom have any). I even had a request to complete a minor work order while I was home and they were good working with my schedule.Now something I can agree on with many other reviews is the parking is horrible. I went ahead at the start of my lease and purchased a car port spot so I should have guaranteed parking spot. (Car ports are available for purchase and is assigned for your vehicle). However..key word is should because since I have moved here, there have been several times someone else parks in my spot that I pay for. This is frustrating to me. Pegasus had a horrible tow policy and required to give the person a 24hr notice before towing, but they leave the next day before notice even takes effect and I was still out my parking spot for that night. You also cant call a tow company yourself because all the companies tell you that management has to call them. I am finally fed up with this happening, new management states they are in process of reviewing the tow contract. I am expecting a change in the policy because as a paying resident for a car port, Im tired of the occasional jerk parking in my spot. Residents know these are assigned spots and should also inform their guest they have come over. The last time there were no spots available in the complex and several people were forced to park off the complex. Im a very patient person but this has happened too many times. Im pushing for towing at the time of incident and to by-pass the 24 hour notice.Overall, this is a great complex to live at. Prices are competitive, it is spacious for an apartment, clean, in a great area of San Antonio, great schools, polite office staff (Amelia and Maria are excellent!) and so far 7 months into my lease, besides the parking issue, I havent had any other issues to date that would give a lesser rating.

Weve been living here 2.5 years. Its a great place to live. Weve never had a bad experience from the management or anything. Even when people are super loud at the pool at night, the on-call community security was prompt and resolved the situation quietly. The maintenance staff if great. They do there best to keep things clean. You can only move so fast to combat disrespectful tenants who refuse to pick up after their animals(even though bags and disposal stations are available all over the complex). Cant place the blame on them. Also, the complex is surrounded by hill country. Wild animals may wander around and do their business. The staff is always working out there. Weve never had to wait long for any request. Management is some of the nicest and friendliest people here. You get out of an experience what you put into it. With open communication anyone could enjoy living here. At any given day a walk around the complex might yield a viewing of wild turkeys, deer or an assortment of nature. Managment also has weekly snacks for the kiddos after school and a coffee bar in the office. How awesome is that?! Seriously, were so grateful to have a happy place to live.

UPDATE! I’ve been living here coming on two years now and I can’t lie when marquis took over this complex things have really really shaped up! I would refer anyone here! Great staff, they always deliver in great time on promises. Management has a go getter attitude. you’ll always get a wave and smile anytime you see a maintenance guy. Awesome Job Marquis ! 👍🏼Terrible staff. Been here for 5 months, referred a friend a week after I moved in the staff always lies about the referral. Was supposed to come in in 60 days its been about 5 months and I still havent received the check for $500. When I call to ask the staff always makes up some excuse. And gets someone to call me back which they never do. One of the WORST places to live. Just go find a different complex.

The experience living here has been really good!! Our first year was a bit rough because of the snow storm but it was cool to see others walking around or playing in the snow. Reminded me of home (NYC), speaking of which there is so much space in our apartment 😂 New York is usual full of cramped or small spaces tbh but the floor plan of our space is so so nice! Wouldn’t change it for the world!The only downside is that I haven’t gotten a real chance to get to know my neighbors and I know that’s on us but it’s been on my heart for a while!! I’m hoping the new app can assist with that! :)

I have been living at Marquis at Crown Ridge since September 2017 and overall Ive had a pretty positive experience here. When I was looking for an apartment back in September, the main thing that I wanted to find was a safe, non-ghetto apartment in my price range and a pest free home. I have a phobia of roaches, so that was important to me. I can honestly say that in the whole year that I have been here I havent seen one single roach! Kudos on the pest control Marquis. As a female living alone, feeling safe is also priority. I work late and dont get home until 10 pm. Thankfully, the neighbors, a mix of UTSA students, professionals, and young families are respectful and keep to themselves.The management team is great. They are nice and helpful. My heater went out once, I put the maintenance request in through the online portal, and within 24 hours it was fixed. The complex went through renovations in January and they kept us updated through emails. Parking is o.k. Like I said, I get home around 10 and theres always a couple of parking spots open on my side (Building 2). The only time I have ever had to park outside the complex was when I stayed out til 3 am on a weekend.Valet trash I could do without, its $35 a month. Tenants could do better on picking up after their pets. Its not too bad, since the maintenance people are often seen scooping poop, but it would be great if the dog owners could pick it up themselves. When it does accumulate, its an eyesore on an otherwise beautiful community.Overall, Ive enjoyed my experience here. Unfortunately I will not be renewing my lease do to the rent going up, but I definitely recommend these apartments to anyone. You cant beat the location and the beautiful views.

I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and it’s been the best experience! Management and maintenance have always been really helpful and the community here has always been really nice. And I love the new upgrades at the pool area!

This has been the best experience I have ever had living in an apartment. The natural light here in my apartment makes me think...home. And the office staff. Reminds me of family. They were so quick to help me when I ran into some financial trouble. I really have to give props to Tiffany and Patience. Two of the nicest most helpful people I have met. If I ever need help again, Im definitely going to ask them.

Great after take over by new company. Moved in March of 2017 and lived at the complex when the new management took over. Staff in office were always prompt and communicated on all issues. Kate was extremely helpful regarding the move out process and getting everything taken care of. Maintenance requests were always taken care of immediately. They are adding amenities and upgrading features at the complex that unfortunately were not completed by the time we moved out. However, for the location and the price this cannot be beat. Will definitely recommend to others in the future.

I am a student at UTSA who was looking for a one bedroom apartment and I was amazed by the magnanimity of service I received. I had completed the documentation and had even signed on when I learned that my outstanding lease was non cancelable. I had by this point already made the staff work very hard to admit me through filing of additional paperwork and having them even extend the duration of my quote. After all that they still saw fit to place me on a wait list after minimal intrusion. I have nothing but praise for the wonderful service I was provided and am going to seek a lease with this company as soon as I am readily able to given the personable, communicative, and generous staff that saw me through my entire experience. 10/10

The best thing about this complex is the maintenance staff! Around the complex they are always friendly and are sure to smile and wave when you see them outside. Sam really goes above and beyond to make sure all your needs and future needs are taken care of, while also keeping you informed! He never makes a job just a maintenance call, it is always so easy to hit off a conversation with him. He will make sure you know where he is and how to find him if you ever need help! Im impressed!

Love the location, management, neighbors, etc. I take one star off because there is no recycling service provided. Recycling is important to me so I have no choice but to take my recycling to campus every week or so.Edit (5/5/2019): New management has provided recycling! I leave my rating at 4 stars though because there is an unacceptable amount of dog poo all over the place. They should really implement PooPrints or something like it!
