    We are very happy here at Marquis at Caprock Canyon. We just renewed our lease for our 14th year in this apartment.The location is wonderful — near three highways, walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, and the local bus stop. The units are built to condo spec so the quality is very good and we rarely hear our neighbors.The best part of living here is the staff, especially the maintenance workers. The lead is Yogi. He is top notch, highly skilled, loves learning, and is a pleasure to work with. Jesus and Bryan are enthusiastic, hard working, very quick to respond to requests, and fun. All three of the maintenance staff are nice people and very good at their jobs. I look forward to maintenance visits from Yogi, Jesus, and Bryan.

    I’ve only lived here for a couple of months but I’ve absolutely loved it so far! The apartment is lovely especially for the price and I’ve enjoyed how quiet it is in the evenings. There are deer that wander across the property and ive had cardinals and hummingbirds on my balcony too.The pool and main office are also very clean and well maintained. I’ve had two minor maintenance issues so far with but they were handled promptly.My only complaint so far is that I wish the fitness center was maintained a bit better and stocked with slightly more equipment.

    Im not one to write many Google reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience living here for the past year. Every staff member has always been incredibly kind. As it was my first year living in the US, I didnt know much, but they were always there to guide me. Additionally, the maintenance team has been one of the greatest blessings of the past year. Theyve always arrived to fix issues within a day of my reporting them. My most recent experience was over in just a couple of hours. Not only that, they handle all repairs very simply yet professionally. Theyve proactively replaced anything they deemed too old. Theyve even taught me how to do some repairs myself for future reference. I would happily pay for their service. But whats even more amazing is that all of this is included in my rental fee. Naturally, Ive renewed my lease, and Ill continue to do so as long as everything remains the same. Thank you Bryan!

    By far my favorite apartment I’ve lived in Austin. Close enough to downtown but tucked away in a nature preserve makes it feel like you’re getting the best of both worlds. Quiet and shaded pool. Grocery store and several restaurants within walking distance. The units are very nice, with high ceilings and big balconies. Management and maintenance is always very responsive and quick to correct anything (shoutout Jade, who’s always made sure we are taken care of). I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new place in Austin!

    Marquis at Caprock Canyon it is a great place to live, surrounding by a nature preserve. The apartment complex it is beautiful and quiet.The staff are top notch, from office administrator to maintenance crew. The whole team are customer satisfaction oriented. Any issues are solved in the day. they have resident appreciation activities every month, were you can gather and meet other residents. it is a lovely place!

    In the apartment and home rental world, in my opinion the management and staff makes our breaks an experience… and the management here is exceptional! It’s been a breath of fresh air compared to previous experiences I’ve had at other complexes and with rentals. Not only that, but the community is amazing. Well kept, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We moved here at the recommendation of multiple friends who had a wonderful experience living here, and ours has been the same.

    I love living here. The apartments are soundproof and quiet. Most importantly, the office and maintenance staffs are superb and very responsive. Our head maintenance engineer, Yogi, is efficient, effective and VERY talented. He can fix ANYTHING!

    I absolutely love living here. The property is very well taken care of for a nature preserve, and it’s so nice to wake up and feed deer from my balcony! The office staff is also incredibly helpful anytime I go in; Jade made sure everything was perfect for our move in and was very hands on for the whole process and Madison and Joe are always ready to help answer questions or offer solutions for any situation. Thanks for making the community such a comfortable place to be!

    Bryan and Joe are THE freaking BEST!!!!! I felt silly for asking for help getting a heavy box that Amazon left at the bottom of the stairs. This isnt a maintenance issue and certainly not the complexs problem. But Joe and Bryan very kindly helped a girl out. Best community EVER.

    Ive been here over six years and really like it. The complex is quiet, wooded and doesnt feel overly developed or devoid of character. Lots of apartments face the nature preserve. The maintenance crew is very fast, Ive never had to sit around with broken stuff - sometimes Ive had repairs in under an hour. Joseph helped me transfer units recently to save some money and helped smooth the bumpy transition.

    Caprock Canyon is stunning. I see deer and different horticultural every day. There is a gorgeous hiking trail that has so many different trails with caves if you are the exploring type. The balconies are huge and you have your own private view that is hidden by trees if you pick the right apartment. A beautiful property and place to stay.

    Adding another rating and this one is specifically for our maintenance team. Brian, Jesus and the rest of the maintenance team are the best and most responsive maintenance team that I’ve ever had at a complex. They are also super nice and friendly- I go on walks around the complex and they always are the first to smile and say hi as they pass by. I hate that we are having to move due to increased rent prices but will hope nothing but the best for these guys!

    By far the best place that I’ve ever lived! The staff, specifically Madison Crisci does so much to make you feel welcome. She always greets me with my name and asks me how my puppy is doing. I love living here!

    I have nothing but great things to say about both this property and the folks working there. The maintenance staff were always speedy and responsive. The office folks are very communicative and friendly. Unfortunately Im moving away because of work and the office staff has helped tremendously with the process. Property wise its a great location, with many units offering private porches backing up into a forested area.

    My daughter and I have called this home for 7 years. The management and maintenance are all wonderful to work with and always willing to help. They continue to make a lot of improvements to the property. I would recommend the property to anyone especially those with kids (the pool is amazing) and dogs, there is a ton of green space and the greenbelt directly behind the complex is well maintained and fun to explore.

    Living here has been wonderful. Not a luxury apartment by any means, but the cost is reasonable and the management is great. Maintenance always happens within a few hours of putting in a request, and the management team proactively solves issues and maintains the property before things break.

    We’ve been here for about 2 months and absolutely love this complex. The community is very nice and pet-friendly with great options for walks/trail hikes near by. The location is also ideal with lots of classic Austin hang out spots within 5-15 minutes of the complex. The only feedback I can think of is the gym amenities. I love to use free weights and cardio machines but the ones currently provided do not allow for a proper workout (and are out-dated). Other than that, we have found a lovely home within a nostalgic neighborhood of Austin.

    We have lived at Marquis at Caprock Canyon for a year now and have just renewed our lease for another 18 months. We couldnt be happier with the location, the beauty of the connection with the nature preserve, and the thoughtful layout of the apartment itself.The service provided by the staff is really outstanding as well. The result is the kind of carefree living that we hoped for when we moved from the house we owned into a rental community. There are five individuals with whom we interact on a frequent basis --- Angela, Noah, Marcus, Yogi, and Kevin. They are a model of efficiency, dedication, skill, and friendliness. It is a pleasure simply to greet them while walking about.

    Ive been in the Marquis at Caprock Canyon for almost 3 months. So far it has exceeded all my expectations.First off, the quality and price are terrific. (I have vaulted ceilings, fireplace, deep bathtub, wood floors, a huge walk-in closet and granite counter tops). The apartments are built to condo specs so I never hear my neighbors.I love that the view out of my patio is of tree tops and greenery. It is very peaceful here, Ive heard owls at night and I see a large family of deer about 5 days per week!There is a nice sense of community which is fostered by free monthly activities (like brunch with bottomless mimosas!)When I first moved in, my regular sized washing machine wouldnt fit in the designated washer/dryer space. The maintenance crew immediately came by and eliminated some trim so that it would fit.Ive had a few other maintenance requests for small things (blocked garbage disposal, etc.) and the maintenance crew always, ALWAYS gets to it that same day.The only drawbacks are that the cabinets are a little dated and the kitchen and bathroom use florescent lighting. Not a big deal to me.

    My move-in 3 years ago wasnt that pleasant; former manager did everything in her power to disregard my complains about my downstairs bipolar neighbor who was a nightmare to us, always making false accusations against me and my family (we are Hispanic, and Im SO happy shes finally out of here after having another issue with another neighbor) Once that manager was gone, Angela took over and everything changed. Her and her amazing team try to help you as much as they can on every single aspect. Yes, the apartment fees are a little on the high side, but the community is good, maintenance team is friendly, professional and prompt. Angela, Isaac, Noah and Marcus are a great team and Im very grateful for all of their work (its not easy to manage so many apartments and tenants).

    I absolutely love living here. Ive lived in all types of places in Austin, and this apartment has by far been my best renting experience. It does not feel like an apartment, as many of the balconies are private and overlook a beautiful nature perserve. Neighbors are quiet, respectful, and friendly.     I moved into the Marquis at Caprock Canyon in February 2019, and I’ve been impressed from day one when Marcus toured me around the property. Currently on my second lease at the property, and I’m very happy with the resident experience. Marcus and the rest of the team go above and beyond to make sure any issues are taken care of promptly. This is the first complex I’ve lived at in Austin where you can tell management actually cares about residents. Each unit is well kept, the rent is phenomenal for the value, and the community is quiet and safe.

    We lived in this community for over two years and absolutely LOVED our time here. The grounds are beautiful and our neighbors were the best. And so many deer! Such a special place to live.The maintenance staff and process here was also great. All of our issues were handled extremely quickly, which is especially impressive considering the size of community.On that note - Marcus in the front office was also great! Honestly I have no idea how he remembered everyones names and dogs names and when there were packages in the office for folks. Such a good dude!We only moved out because we bought a house, but otherwise would have stayed in this community for a loooong time!

    I absolutely love living at caprock! The staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a 24 hour maintenance guarantee so your service request get completed in a timely manner. The community is on a nature preserve so my balcony is super private and looks out to the woods. I never hear my neighbors upstairs or to the side of me. There’s tons of deer that just roam around which is super cool! If you are looking for a quiet, affordable, private apartment this will be your best choice!

    We moved to this community in August 2017. I have to say that we had a no so pleasant move-in experience. HOWEVER the CURRENT Management Team have made a HUGE difference in the way my family feel at the community. The Team is not just committed to their work in a very efficient way, they are also kind and respectful. The response time to address your concerns is almost immediate. In fact we are happy now to call Marquis at Caprock Canyon our home!The Maintenance Team is also super professional and friendly. They will address your concerns within the same day, unless they have to call a third party to solve the issue. But even then the response time is super reasonable.The community is located in the middle of a natural preserve zone, which gives you direct access to a lovely trail and lots of deers and other types of fauna! Speaking of which the community is PET FRIENDLY, my furry baby loved the bark park!Also one can have access, within WALKING DISTANCE!, to several services such as grocery and convenience stores, pharmacies, restaurants, schools -public and private, all educational levels-, veterinarians, etc.Overall is a great community!

    My partner and I love living here! I am a graduate student at UT and this complex is affordable AND quiet, plus it borders the Spicewood Nature Preserve! The front desk staff is absolutely fantastic, always professional, kind, and helpful for anything one might need. Marcus and Noah (front office) in particular have gone out of their way, on several occasions, to ensure that we are enjoying our home at Caprock. Additionally, the maintenance crew is always incredibly fast and they display the same professionalism and kindness that you receive at the front office. I recommend Caprock to all of my friends and classmates that are looking for an affordable and serene place to live in Austin that is not too far from downtown/campus.

    We have been living in this complex since August 2016 and have renewed our lease for several months ahead. I have nothing but praise for the way this complex is maintained. All of my service requests, however trivial, were handled in a responsible and timely manner and the staff, led by Tracy Bussard, has gone above and beyond at every opportunity.Our neighbors are quiet, polite and friendly, we are probably the loudest of anyone around! The facilities are excellent and well maintained. The complex itself is calm and peaceful and yet not too far from the big Austin highways. I would wholeheartedly recommend living here to any tenant.

    Marquis at Caprock Canyon is a lovely, quiet sprawling complex located on a lovely greenbelt in northwest Austin. The management is effective and considerate and the maintenance is seriously dedicated to promptly solving maintenance problems which all apartments have. I have lived here going on nine years now and it is my apartment home of choice. It is a pet friendly community which I appreciate although I dont own a pet.During my time here we have had three full-time managers and one tentative manager and Ive gotta say, the current manager, Tracy, is for sure one of the most effective, honest and personable managers we residents have had.From my perspective, ALL apartment complexes will have issues that need to be resolved. That is apartment living. I have lived in several apartments in my life and I choose to live here. At the communal mailboxes last week I said hello to another resident that I recognized by sight but had never met. As we got our mail we talked about our respective tenures at Caprock Canyon and come to find out, he had lived here longer than I. As we said our goodbyes he echoed a phrase I have said in the past, Caprock is the best complex in town.

    Among other reasons for living here is that the office staff are always helpful and responsive. Recently, we had a (rare) issue; Joe addressed it immediately and resolved it entirely. Its a great feeling knowing that even when problems arise, theyre quickly fixed.

    I love it here (everything is close it’s a 10min drive to all the fun parts of Austin) the apartments have a view of the woods deer and wildlife are all around and they don’t mind the presence of people. The community is pleasant and quiet. The maintenance and leasing staff are the reason we renewed our lease they really are awesome they are so friendly and on top of everything.

    Lived here for 3 years now and it is a great place to call home. Friendly staff and the BEST MAINTENECE people you will encounter anywhere. Big pet community and tons of great wildlife in the area giving you a break from the big city life. Only small gripes are parking sometimes, and trash pickups but overall would recommend.

    I am still living here, so this is just a review of the leasing, move-in, and first two week experience. However, this is the second CWS apartment complex I have lived in. The leasing consultant was great and the application process is easy albeit a bit tedious and time consuming. The property is amazing, set on a small forest preserve it is very peaceful and quiet. Yet it is close enough to MoPac and thus the Arboretum and Downtown that lots of the city is easily accessible.

    Ive been here just over a year and I love it. Its quiet because of the thick concrete walls. My patio faces the woods where I can see deer hanging out. The storage is bigger than any place I looked at. Coat closet, linen closet, 2 clothes closets, pantry/washer dryer, and the patio storage isnt that skinny tiny thing - its 5 x 5 and very tall. Maintenance is less than 24 hours most times. I understand thee office isnt always there to answer phones since they are showing apartments but you can always go to the office. For other reviews, note how long ago those were written. Ive seen many concerning the a/c but I have never had a problem. My utilities after ownng a home have decreased greatly, in fact my elec bill has never been over $50. The location is great, go west and 360, Arboretum area is within a few miles - go east and Mopac and Anderson Lane area is super close. Its also the first time since living in Austin that if I go grocery shopping any time of the day its not packed to the point you want to run. Both Randalls and HEB are never so crowded and with little staff. One of my favorite things is in the Randalls shopping center there is a New Orleans style snowball truck that is great to battle the summer heat.

    We rented a ground floor home about 3 months ago, and between the deers roaming your backyard, the glass patio door that opens up to the forest, the aesthetic of this place is wild and beautifulYes you can feed the deers proper food too and they keep coming - talk about co-existing.Marcus the Property agent and host is such a kind, friendly person with his calm demeanor. From the beginning we enjoyed conversations with him and continue to do so.The homes were inside has been recently repainted and renovated before we moved in. While it does not give vibes of a modern apartment living - it truly is like more like a good ol house vibe.Personally, I am loving its calm, green atmosphere- something about it is spiritual and makes me feel grounded.The beautiful trials that connect from this place and just the overall location in North Austin makes Marquis, a really good place to stay at.I have not yet mentioned the Walgreens, Randalls store that makes it all the more convenient.

    I recently moved in and I love the friendliness of the staff. Marcus is the guy who toured me and made the application process super easy! Anytime I have an issue, maintenance is on top of it!Anytime I’m on a walk with my dog we always stop at the office for a nice treat, and the fact that Marcus and Isaac will give him some snuggles.

    I recently toured The Marquis and was greeted very warmly by Angela. She was AMAZING and I could tell she had a great relationship with the residents we encountered along the way. It’s obvious she cares about the residents and the property and I was very impressed. While I choose a complex closer to downtown, I was super impressed with Angela and would highly recommend The Marquis.

    Recently moved in with great communication and assistance from Angela. Anytime Ive had any issues, Marcos and Angela have been very friendly and helpful.The property is great, like living in the woods. I see deer and rabbits on a daily basis. Havent had the chance to experience the gym or pool due to that rona but hopefully they will open soon!

Youll be hard-pressed to find a quieter community in a park-like setting with abundant wildlife; yet close enough to walk to the grocery or walgreens as well as cafes, and convenient to mopac and highway 183. Also the entire staff is awesome; from the front office to the maintenance team, theyll take care of you!
