Its NOT Elizabeth! The apartments are BRAND NEW and she has been inundated with people wanting to move in or view the apartments. Its nothing personal, but for the longest time she was the only person the apartment mgmt group hired (not her fault!). My sons live here and yes, there have been new construction issues Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to attend to every concern/need my sons have had, and as quickly as possible for one person. The apartments have really nice amenities like granite countertops, modern lighting, flooring, and appliances. There are washer and dryers inside each apt which is reason enough to move in! Again, everything is brand new so it all looks good and is nice. Hopefully everyone will do their part to keep it this way. Although this is a really run down part of town you will notice that there is a lot of new construction happening as well as the big Buffalo Bayou renovations. It will be a really nice area once its all completed.Oh, another plus is that it is only a few miles from downtown and many of the sports venues.

I recently moved into Lockwood at Buffalo and im so happy I did. It’s a really nice apartment, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Elizabeth, and she was the best! She helped me every step of the way and communicated greatly. All thanks to her I got a great view and a new home 😁

If youre looking for a place to call home, Lockwood on Buffalo Bayou is a hidden gem, and Elizabeth Ortiz is the perfect manager for this place. Elizabeth is truly a mini angel. It’s rare to find someone so genuine and caring in her position.The apartments are modern, secure, and quiet, with walking trails and beautiful views of the Houston skyline from every balcony. Throughout the leasing process, Elizabeth went above and beyond, making me feel truly at home with her kindness and care.If you have the chance to visit, be sure to meet Elizabeth—her warmth and professionalism will make you feel right at home. I’m lucky to have crossed paths with her, and I hope you get the chance to experience the same.

I recently moved into my new place, and while the process took some time, it was definitely worth it in the end. Elizabeth, our property manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer my calls or returned them promptly, which made a big difference. Elizabeth was patient and willing to assist me with everything from the beginning to the end of the application process, never showing any attitude. Her dedication and support truly made my move smoother. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your outstanding service!

Im going to give my honest opinion on the experience here at Lockwood on buffalo bayou, I hope it helps others as well. We applied back in June and the whole process did take a while but beside that its mostly a question of a waiting game. People seem to complain about the management being mean or whatever but we need to take in mind the AMOUNT of tenants/people that are calling DAILY, and the process for each family can cause the timeframe to be extended. Elizabeth has been very patient with us to every question we had and always called us when she had an update. She has been nothing but good to my family and for that i will forever be grateful to be able to live here now and call it home! The Building is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. i Just hope they do enclose the area with gates around the building and the entrance in the future to be able to enter parking lot for safety or maybe even security but other then that our experience has been great.

Let me tell yall how impressed I am with not only this beautiful apartment but also the tireless work Ms. Ortiz put into helping me get into my place. I really had a complex series of roadblocks that I felt would be insurmountable. First off I was living in Florida and because of a disability, I had to rely on Ms. Ortiz for pretty much everything. She always came through. Walked me through all the steps and graciously accepted me to the building once all the hurdles were cleared. I cant thank her or Buffalo Bayou Partnership enough for everything theyve done to provide a safe, clean and affordable place for me and my neighbors. And hats off to the generous donors the Partnership relies on to make the city a better place for all Houstonians.
