I have been living here for about a year. It is the most efficiently managed property I have ever lived at. Houston has been through some rough times recently with storms and power outages. Lily, the manager, always keeps everyone in the loop via texts that go to the entire community. When we had lost power due to the derecho that struck Houston she would be up late after-hours keeping everyone updated and working late to deal with CenterPoint which is not the most fun thing to do.She and the other staff also do all kinds of activities for the community, especially fun ones for the children. They frequently get food like pizza for the residents and I even remember one time they bought pizza for the community because it was tax day and taxes are stressful. After the storm when we went days without power they bought Chinese food for everyone. They just do nice stuff for everyone for the sake of being nice.After the storm my A/C went out due to damage from the electrical surges. I had to get a whole new unit so a temporary window unit had to be installed. The first one ended up not working properly, but because I didnt get home from work until late I wasnt able to inform Lily that the unit was not working. I sent Lily an email expecting that it was too late for her to see it or respond. I was watching a movie and still up when around midnight I got a knock on my door. It was Jonathan, who does maintenance. Not only was Lily still up and checking her email, but Jonathan was nice enough to come to my place at midnight and bring a replacement unit. I have lived other places and some have been pretty ritzy at times. I have never once had this incredible level of service like I have had here at Legends of Memorial. The people here have been the best thing about living here. Well, and that the pool goes down to 9. Haha. Its so hard to find a proper pool a deep end these days, but they have one here!

I resided in this apartment complex for 13 months. The noteworthy aspect to highlight is the outstanding service provided by the management, particularly Amanda and Lily, who consistently offered prompt and diligent responses to all inquiries. The maintenance staff also deserves recognition for their efforts in delivering good service.

I originally moved here because of the public school ratings for the area. I needed something affordable without having to change my daughters school. The office staff is very kind and helpful here Lily and Amanda are great. They’re the kindest office staff I’ve ever had, who are mindful and quick at getting things done. I haven’t had many maintenance requests but when I do it’s always been same day turn around. I just signed a lease for my second year 😊

We had a taco party by the pool set up after work today and I really enjoyed myself with my son.. Amanda really goes out her way to welcome and keep the community connected. I’ve been living here little over 1 year and honestly don’t have any complaints , when I request something to get fixed it’s completely within a day and communication is great with the front office. If your looking for a cozy place consider this place. Price is fair and reasonable.

One of the kindest women ever, Ms. Lily at the leasing office helped me through all of the small details and really worked with me helping me get my first studio apartment, very nice complex, my front door opens up to a beautiful terrace and they take care of all maintenence issues quickly!

I’ve been here for about 8 months now, and this is the best apartment complex I’ve dealt with. There hasn’t been any bs to put up with, the landlord is very accommodating. But the reason I’m writing this review is because the maintenance men are absolutely amazing. They respond quickly and always solve maintenance work orders. Today however, they went above and beyond and spent nearly an hour helping me get into my car, and they didn’t ask a single thing as thanks. Outstanding staff here at legends of memorial.

I really love living here! Its been over 2 years now and everything is great. The community is always neat and clean and I rarely have any maintenance requests but its always taken care of super fast. The ladies in the office are friendly and caring. The best central location and garage parking is awesome. Its a small community and if you like tranquility this is it!

I have lived in this apartment community for what’s going on three years now. It’s very quiet here, I haven’t had any issues. I think the staff for this property is amazing from the office and also maintenance. The staff is very quick at responding which is a big bonus in my opinion.

Management is very nice and understanding. I had to move into a new place very quickly and they got my papers processed and had me moved in within a week! The apartments are small but great location. Nice and quiet with good neighbors. Parking is the only complaint I have, due to the lack of parking for residents on the side opposite the leasing office. Otherwise, I love living here!

I moved into Legends if Memorial earlier this year and have truly enjoyed my time. Management is super sweet and helpful. Work orders are completed in reasonable amount of time. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone respects their space.Parking is a little tight after 7:00pm but not worries, the unground garage is usually promising with a spot.This is a great apartment if you are trying to live on your own for the first time.

I make my two years living here in August. This place has overall been amazing. I was looking at other reviews and decided to add my experience.ProsThe management and maintenance teams have always been great to me. I mostly talked to Miriam, and Jose, I believe, was the maintenance guy. But they have recently changed management and maintenance team, so I cant speak for them.The area of these apartments is so convenient for my fiancé and me. Its right by I-10, across the street from Walmart and Whataburger, you dont have to travel more than 10 minutes to get to shopping centers, and you dont have to travel more than 15 minutes to Memorial or The Galleria mall.We love the trash pick up Mon- Thurs. Its so convenient after a long day at work.The pool is beautiful and fun to be in. The fitness center is also great. It has two treadmills, an elliptical, and various weights.It has always been a peaceful area. The most escalated event Ive heard of was car break-ins, but never to us.Were pretty simple people, so it doesnt take a lot for us to be happy. :)ConsOur main issue has been the AC. You CANNOT control your temperature. My guess is because its an all utilities included rent. It has not been lower than 72 degrees in the spring or summer, and they sometimes have issues with the AC not working.Another major issue that affected me was visitor parking. Theres very little visitor parking. I had a Halloween party my first year here, and to my embarrassment, some of my invitees had to park at Walmart and walk.An issue I had when I first moved in here was the tight parking spaces for tenants, but over time you get used to it.Another issue weve had is pipes breaking in the garage. I had nasty stains on my car because of that water. Thankfully I was able to get them off, but a simple carwash did not remove them.I have never encountered rats; I see a roach maybe once a week. I saw a lot of people do have problems with that though perhaps its the specific building theyre in. Im in 500.Overall this was an excellent place for our first rental.

These are the best apartments ever!!! the staff is very friendly and neighbors are always helpful and very nice people. If you like to go out in the weekends and have fun this is the place to live, everything is so close to these apartments. The drive to memorial city mall is like 5 min away and the galleria is about 10 minutes. There are always special event being held here even 21 and over event that are always fun. I Love it here, best decision ever to move in.

I moved here some time last year and my first impression was just how clean and quiet the environment was. It may be next to a freeway, but it’s actually pretty quiet ! Never had an issue with anything major..but like every resident , the guest parking is very limited 🥺 my fiancé enjoys the fitness center and my daughter loves the pool! Miriam is the sweetest and management is very understanding and helpful! 👍🏻

I just moved in and it was it bit of a rocky start, but honestly the staff worked with me and understood my concerns. I really like my new apartment; it’s clean and well kept, though minor wear and tear. I live in a studio and it’s a bit small to my liking, but the price makes up for that. I’m really hoping they will work with me if I want to renew my lease, by not raising the price too high, but we shall see. I didn’t think I would feel safe here, but I do; it’s really quiet (besides the rush of freeway, which is constant) But hey, you can get on I-10 in a matter of seconds, and that’s cool. Getting on 6-10 takes more time. It takes me about 20 min to get to San Felipe and 6-10 when I leave at 8am. When there no traffic it can be less than 10 min which is also pretty cool. Great area if you want to be zoned for good schools too! Seriously. Overall 8/10

If your looking for a Perfect spot to live, Legends of Memorial Apartments is 100% recommended! My boyfriend and I moved in December 2020 and we have been loving it here. The apartment units are very spacious and luxury. Their are two swimming pools, It’s a great location, neat and clean property. Your right next to the Marque Center, everything is close by. Staff and Maintenance are very nice and helpful. Miriam the leasing specialist will assist you with great care. Check out LOM you won’t regret it! :)

Ive lived here over a year now. The office staff is so nice and are always quick to address any problems. Maintenance is thorough and friendly. The apartments are beautifully renovated. Weve also attended community gatherings and had so much fun.Location is also amazing. Everything you could possibly need is right down the street.Garage parking is a big plus, too.

I lived at Legends of Memorial for approximately 9 months. The only reason I left was because of my job. BUT if I had to move back, I would choose this place again in a heart beat-- with no hesitation!I want to commend the staff on how professional and accommodating they were during my stay. ANYTIME I had a maintenance issue, or any issue, it was resolved in less than 24 hours. Tanya was the most helpful and professional manager I have ever witness, and she truly went out of her way to make sure I was happy.Once upon a time, I was just like you, searching for the right apartment. I assure you this is the right one!

I am very happy with everything at these apartments, manager, office ladies and outside workers. I was a little worried to be close to the freeway because of the noise, some bad parking and pest reviews. I was not 100% sure I would like it here. I express these concerns to the office ladies and was offered a shorter lease and in which very few apartments offer this. Jailene told me she was confident about the apartments being great and she was sure Id love them. I asked the same questions about 6 times because I wanted to be sure I was not going to fall into a trap or something. Each time I asked both ladies were happy to explain to me again. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that they were not pushy to lease or mislead me about the reviews nor did they speak bad about the people leaving not so good reviews. Both ladies helped me each time I called and they explained to me about the parking, they have exterminators, maintenance workers to come fix things asap. My AC stopped working one evening and I was soo worried Id have to sleep in the heat but the worker came to fix it in less than an hour. Jailene was right I do love it here and have extended my lease. I go to the office to get my packages while getting a tea there and all workers are very pleasant and happy to see everyone that comes in. I do recommend living here.

I have lived in apartment complexes around the US and overseas and this is by far the friendliest and most honest staff that I have ever interacted with. Very responsive to any apartment issues, quick response times for anything else, through email as well as phone. Great location right outside the loop that is close to the Heights, Uptown, and 10-15min from downtown. The staff have made this a very enjoyable experience at this complex!

I used to live here about 2 years ago but had to move for personal situations. I hated that I had to move but thank God Im moving back in August. These apartments are a steal. For the renovations that theyve done for that price for that area? You cant beat that. Only reason theyre priced so low for the area is because of the age. But the new management has put in so much work to flip this property. Some people complain thinking its too expensive for the age, but seriously. If you want something brand spanking new go pay at least 1.3k a month for a one bedroom around the corner. The office staff is the best and still helped me out and offered me a massive special for returning that they offered me after I already had my move in date set up and everything without me even asking for it! I will stay at this property until I am ready to purchase my own property. This is the best value rental property in the area.

We have had a great experience the last three years at LOM and would honestly stay here until we were ready to buy if they had three bedrooms avaliable.We have had minor incidents that happen when you share space with other people but property manager Tanya and her staff have always dealt with them promptly and professionally. Tanya is also very kind and reasonable and legitimately cares about each one of her residents and their experience.Robert, the maintenance manager is amazing and fixes any issue promptly.I had my daughter while living here and she has grown up her first two years playing in the pool and in the courtyard. I lost my baby weight in the fitness center and found my amazing job in the business center using their computers. This place has become our home and we will truly miss living here. We 100% recommend this complex to anyone looking for a home in the area.

For starters we just signed our lease for the 3rd year, and we love it here. Our level is quiet and secluded, we have great neighbors that are friendly and interactive. The office staff is quick to respond and very friendly when any question or assistance is asked for. With the option to text any questions or request the response is very prompt. Recently gatherings and childrens activities have increased and are a great chance to meet and greet your fellow neighbors from both sides of Silber Rd. The improvements over the past few years are great and very much appreciated. Texts and Emails provided for updates have been helpful to notify us of any issues with city construction or water line repairs. I work in the downtown area which makes Legends of Memorials location perfect. Im looking forward to continue my stay in a great community like this. I would highly recommend LOM to any new resident!

Ive very minimal problems since Ive moved into Legends of Memorial a year ago. If ever I have a question or issue that needs responding the office staff is always quick to respond and handle my concerns. I sometimes travel for work and they have a rent payment system that is seamless and allows me to pay anywhere at anytime with a few different payment methods including credit card which allows me to make cash back and points off the rent that I pay. The maintenance staff is also quick to respond. Its in a prime location so everything is 10 minutes away. They have apartment wide gatherings every so often with FREE DRINKS!!! The place is quiet but neighbors dont mind if you play a your music as long as its not super disturbing. I usually dont write reviews but Ive had such a good time here I had to leave something. I have lived here, at Legends of Memorial, since December of 2014. Being totally honest, other than the parking issue, which is currently being addressed in the most sufficient way possible, I have only positive and uplifting things to say about my experience as a resident here. Mandy and Jacky in the leasing office are always attentive and helpful with any concerns that I have had...Ive never came across an issue that one of them couldnt find a solution for.This is a smaller complex than what I am used to living in, but I love it because we all know each other, so if ever any of us need anything theres usually someone around to help! also the fact that we have officers on site, if ever needed, makes me feel secure, in some of the larger places ive experienced a lot more crime and more of a guarded feeling.The upgrades have made the property even more inviting and all the guys on the maintenance team help keep things running as they should.I highly recommend Legends of Memorial if youre ever looking for a new place to call home!

I relocated my family and I, to this side of town last year due to job. I recently lost my job this year and Im a single parent who often wondered what I am going to do now. I spoke with the main office and explained my situation. I cant thank them enough for working with me, during these hard times. They gave me there time and solutions as to what they can could do to help willingly.Im currently working off their business room, using it for doing side gigs which require a computer, applying for jobs, searching for job fairs. Not many places have a computer rooms with printers. In my case, Im glad we do.It’s been pleasant to live here overall. It’s a gated community, the schools are great, the freeways is 12 seconds away after pulling out the parking garage. On the other side of the freeway, you have Wal-Mart, A movie theater, restaurants, nail shops etc. Walking is never a problem, it’s pretty safe and you see people constantly walking to their hotel or walking their dogs.I can see all the effort the new management staff is doing to better and to improve these apartments. We receive notices through email and text and they leave notices on our door... I really like that. If there’s a problem, we do get a noticed and usually the issue gets resolved within hours and its during the day when hardly anyone is home. The inside and outside if the complex are recently remodeled and renovated. I know how these apartments looked before, many, many years ago... They are certainly worthy now and live up to their expectation and more. To anyone who is looking for a place to stay near memorial. The location and price is great.

I’ve been here in this complex close to 9 Months and have a wonderful experience overall. The location is great; we have access to major freeways. The Management staffs we have now are polite and willing to help, very hospitable and dedicated to improving this complex here a welcome home environment for my family and I. The interior of this place has been recently updated and renovated. The outside is well kept up with as well. It’s a gated community. Neighbors keep to themselves and are courtesy.I spend most of my mornings in the Fitness Room, which is next to the Activity room, it’s normally very quiet and like I said before with the new staff we have now, the rooms always smell and look very clean. I also use the Business Room which comes in handy if you’re having problems with your laptop, internet or don’t have a home printer, you can go there and you have access to computers, internet and printer/fax etc. (even coffee). They’re always willing to accommodate the resident’s here, which is a plus for me. We have a beautiful courtyard, nice pools with a kitchen which is awesome for gatherings or just a Sunday BBQ with the family. The laundry facility is located in the garage, downstairs and its open 24/7.Other than the parking issue which WAS an issue before I leased this apartment has been promptly handled and resolved. They even changed the towing company to better accommodate the residents. I have two vehicles and only cars with permits are allowed in the parking garage. I don’t have a problems parking unless I get home around 1am which is rarely ,but even at that, it isn’t a problem. Yes, it gets full and you don’t get to park near your stairway but I do not mind walking a few cars down to get to my stairway. We also have visitors parking in three locations. In front of the leasing office, across the leasing offices and on the side of, one of the apartment complexes on Kenilworth Dr.I do feel safe here with my family and we have a police officer who is a resident here, who is a call way if needed. It’s usually 97% quiet in the apartment complex. And, for those of us who forgot, how it is to be a kid. The only noises I hear from time to time are children being children, laughing and playing. Nothing ever gets destroyed, the plants and landscaping aren’t messed with, and I always see a parent outside supervising all or one child. I love the fact that its feels like a small community, full of diversity; whose neighbor’s children can laugh and play together. Hearing them outside being happy gives me life. It teaches me not to take things too serious.The schools are great. You have Hunters Creek Elementary and Memorial High school. Across the freeway, you have the Edwards Marqu’E Theater and many shopping, dine in and fast food restaurants. Everything is in walking distance so; I do walk from time to time and feel safe about it. The malls are also close by for those of us who love shopping. There’s Memorial City Mall, City Center and the Marqu’E.All I can say is, I enjoy living here with my family. I’m very satisfied with the management team we have now, who have been willing to help me and resolved any issue as promptly as possible. A hidden gem in Memorial! I cant say enough good things about this place! Location is perfect and the staff is an absolute dream! The office staff is a dream to deal with and the maintenance staff is professional and very helpful. Absolutely love living here!

This is the 3rd time for me moving back to these amazing apartments. The location is so convinent, you are able to walk to walmart and for a fun night out you can walk to Dave&Busters. Metro stops are also scattered around to make traveling for the carless more convienent. The staff has been so helpful in guiding me to get my first apartment on my own. They also provide complimentary coffee and snacks for convenience. They also hold meetings for residents to get together and express their complaints/concerns/opinions about how they can improve. I highly recommend these apartments to everyone.
