I have lived here for nearly 6 years and I want to give a shout out to the maintenance crew especially David and Luis. My washer stopped working and David ordered me a brand new one right away. Luis was fast and efficient installing it just two days later. Great care is always taken by the entire staff. A great place to live, super quiet and safe. Thank you!

Great experience all around. Jesus and Tiffany for me settled in but Tiffany made sure to push my app through in a timely manner. Both are Rockstars but Tiffany again went above and beyond while David helped me to quote blinds for a replacement. My pup got a little overzealous and all five panels have to be replaced. David got me an amazing quote and even found the types of blinds I wanted… and a great deal at that. I am so very grateful for this team all around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s all day.

There were a few things that required repairs upon moving in. David, the maintenance supervisor, made sure to get everything handled right away! The entire staff has been kind, respectful and efficient. I love the property and community so far. So calm and peaceful. Great location. Check out this community, you won’t be disappointed!

The situation was handled with diligence and care and they made sure I felt safe even after the incident was over. I also want to give a shout out to Desirae she has been so welcoming and kind to us since moving here. We truly feel like we are part of a community.

A true Lakewood gem! The entire staff, from the leasing office to maintenance is friendly, efficient, and professional. It is a beautiful property with mature trees, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, and across from a lush golf course. Direct access to the Santa Fe trail has been a game changer for my dog and myself. There is a large park about a 5 minute walk away that is so convenient to take my dog to as well. Walking distance to great restaurants, entertainment, and a Whole Foods! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking in the Lakewood area.

I absolutely LOVE Lakewood on the Trail. I’ve renewed my lease for the 3rd time now and I have no intention of leaving anytime soon. The property is absolutely beautiful and well tended by the incredible staff. I saw another post with pictures of trash left out, and I feel like it’s important to note that those are a result of residents NOT following the rules and just leaving their trash out whenever they feel like it. Even with 2 pools being out of commission, the staff worked hard to keep the 3rd one open the entire Summer and I had no problem getting my time in the sun! Jaye is the manager and she’s absolutely lovely; she’s very personable and tries to get to know you as an individual. Tiffany and Desirae are the friendly faces you’ll be greeted by at the front desks and they have candy too! The maintenance staff members (David, Luis, Mario, and Manuel) are legitimately the best people ever. These fine gentlemen are constantly working in all the extremes of Dallas weather and conditions to make this place home. They’re quick to respond to service requests, and they’re always going above and beyond. For example, Luis and Manuel came to my apartment to replace my weatherstripping on my patio doors, and they swept/cleaned my entire patio with furniture without me even asking. I know these people genuinely care about the needs of the people here, and I’m lucky to have this team! :)

She maintained thorough communication well over a month and stayed very patient with me as I was trying to figure out my moving process. I fell in love with A5 split level loft unit - unfortunately it was just outside of my budget. :(I commend her as well as the rest of the staff for their dedication and persistence with their customer service.

David the maintenance lead is a GREAT integral part of the team. He took care of my work order very quickly and also helped me replace my shower head and my patio gate latch without hesitation. I didn’t even bring up those issues, he just noticed and took initiative. That alone is greatly appreciated. He deserves a raise.

I’m giving a 5 star rating to David and the maintenance team. My AC went out on the 4th of July and as soon as I told him about it (the 5th) he was at my apt within 30 minutes and did everything in his willpower to get it resolved. I needed a new unit which was going to take a few days to deliver so he brought a portable unit to ensure I was keeping cool during the aggressive heat. Once repaired, he came back by the next day to make sure it was working well.I’d like to give 0 stars to the front desk team who has yet to reply to my emergency email stating that I called the emergency line 3 times on the 4th and never received a call back and was ill due to the heat. I had to stay with a friend because it was 107 degrees out and I had no AC. I keep thinking maybe they’ll reply tomorrow but they’ve now had 4 business days and still nothing.Maintenance here is lovely and considerate but it’s very clear the front office team/ manager have zero care for their residents once you sign a lease.

The maintenance team is the best part of this complex. They are so responsive and so so nice!David is the head maintenance guy and he is the absolute best. He has come up to me when I’ve been walking my dogs and talked to me about maintenance request I’ve submitted and answered any questions I’ve had.Luis is so fantastic and professional. I know that if he comes to fix any of my maintenance requests they are going to be fixed properly and quick in the first go around, but on the off chance he has to come back he’s coming back the very next day and the problem will definitely be taken care of.Manual and Mario have always been very professional and proficient in their work. They are exceptional at their jobs.

I have been a tenant since 2019 and the reason I continue to renew is because of this community and the staff here. Jaye, David, and Luis are truly the most caring and talented team. They put their all into assisting and taking care of the folks in the complex. Its rare to find a place to live that not only creates a safe and comfortable place to live, but also enjoys creating a community culture and thats what theyve done successfully. I love living here and am so grateful to yall!*The only reason I give 4 stars is not for the team running this location. There are budget/resource issues at a managing/ownership level, such as providing budget to fix onsite issues like our pool, AC, etc. These things require examination, accountability, and will hopefully be explored more urgently to warrant a 5-star review. Unfortunately, these issues have been neglected for a very long time. The employees working are exceptional, please give them the resources they deserve.

I have loved living at Lakewood on the Trail! I’m on my 2nd year in the same home and really enjoy everything about it! My home has a great space and I rented a carport right in front of my door. Management is great and attentive! Fun online resident events each month, breakfast on the go from the staff on random mornings, and the location is key! Being next to the Santa Fe trail gives me a free workout when I don’t want to go to the on-site gym, or catch a swim in one of the pools. It’s fun seeing my neighbor it’s with their pets walking and getting to catch up! I will continue to gladly recommend Lakewood in the Trail because it’s a great place for a busy individual like myself that still really enjoys the relaxed and cozy environment for when I’m having friends over to enjoy it with me! Thanks to Jaye, Desirae and Tiffany in the office; and David, Luis, Mario, and Manuel from maintenance for making it possible!

EDIT: Do NOT live on the first floor! The noise from the apt above me is CONSTANT and I can’t wait to switch apartments… I’m so over it.Just moved in! Happy so far with the location, great staff, and amenities. Especially the close proximity to the Santa Fe trail. The pool wasn’t exactly as clean as other apartments I’ve lived in though, and the apartment needs new floorboards its kinda gross. Doesn’t bother me too much it’s not too big of a deal as everything else is great! Other than those I’m happy!

Beautiful property! It sets back in a secluded area of prestigious neighborhood in Dallas. The gym is state of the art with a beautiful view overlooking the main pool and hot tub, covered lounge areas. The leasing agent Tiffany was extremely knowledgeable of the property management how it runs and the community amenities offered which was a huge contributor in my overall tour experience being positive. First impressions are very important and Tiffany’s professional yet friendly and inviting personality reflected highly of Lakewood on the Trail.

Ive been a resident for a little over a month now and really like the place.Almost everything is as expected from when I initially toured the complex. The room is the same size and renovation level I expected, the weight room is the same weight room, and the pools are the same pools. No surprises, I get what I had agreed to pay for.The only issue Ive had was with my A/C unit. However, the maintenance guys (David and Shed) are extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. They responded to my maintenance request and replaced the unit the next day. I really hope the apartment team knows how lucky they are to have those two on their staff.

Great apartments, only issue was encountering a roach in front of the apartment door multiple times, we even named it, but never inside. Maintenance do great work. Beautiful complex, awesome gym, awesome pool, awesome trail not far from complex, stayed for a year. A little pricey in my opinion, but whats not pricey on this days.

I’ve been living here since July. I had to put in my first service request this weekend because my a/c was broken and the temperature inside my unit climbed to 92 degrees. Maintenance (David) was able to quickly fix the issue. Not only was it fixed , but he provided me two fans one being heavy duty to help cool my apartment quickly. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable as it was extremely hot. This was a Saturday, he was not on the property, he was out with his family, and he still managed to come fix the issue in about an hour. It really turned the day around for me and I’m very appreciative of how fast he was able to come in and help me out

I viewed 3 other properties in the area that had the amenities that I wanted. They were nice but were missing something. After seeing the other complexes, I just kept coming back to this property. The neighborhood, the front office (Tiffany) the complex, the complex amenities just made it feel like home. When I was being indecisive, Tiffany accommodated me. I was concerned about storage, and she found another unit that catered to my needs and concerns. Even though I had already toured one of the floorplans, she allowed me to see it AGAIN (on short notice), and she showed me the other floorplan that would serve as a solution to my concerns. I appreciate her flexibility and going above and beyond. Im excited to move here and call this place home.

I like my Apartment , its very pretty with nice natural light, very nice kitchen and a patio that I love. The gym is so nice. All the management team have been very kind to me, each Time that I request something they take immediate action ...I mean, yes I had a toilet that was leaking but they repair it very fast , the same day; I have noise for the use of a hose in the pool and they remove the hose and cancel the water exit. I can see that they want to do their best and the maintenance staff is very respectful of your house. I was reading the review and in the 4 months that I have been here I never have problem with gates or mosquitos

My husband & I just recently moved in about 3 weeks ago. So far we are VERY impressed with all aspects of living here. The community is almost eerily quiet at all times, we NEVER hear our neighbors when inside of our apartment (who we know watch their TV at a loud volume due to walking by their open patio door a few times & hearing it in passing while we were outside lol), & the first maintenance issue we had was serviced immediately. I have to brag on the professionalism of the maintenance crew. They had to replace a leaky garbage disposal, but left no mess whatsoever & put everything under the sink back just as they found it. This was a pleasant surprise compared to maintenance experiences weve had in the past & VERY appreciated. We moved here because of the layout of the unit & price being what we were looking for, but the overall living experience in comparison to the usual apartment life has really been impressive. The security gate actually functioning/not being left wide open personally gives me a peace of mind as well as the regular appearance of the security guard patrolling at nights. We expected a certain standard when signing our lease, but so far have had those expectations surpassed. Updated: my previous review was for the former management company.Management changes hands during 2022. Since then, the new management has been fixing and maintaining much of the complex. The have replaced the broken pool furniture. They rotated the codes on the gates, and they say they have been working on a long term improvement for the vehicle gates.They were also relatively quick at repairing my AC which went down during the hottest part of the summer and lent me a portable unit until the repairs were completed.They have definitely been investing in the community.

Lakewood is close to work and convenient to the types of services youd expect in your community (I.e., dry cleaners, nail salons, restaurants, coffee shops). So far, so good.

We had planned on moving out but just sign a new lease. We did have a hiccup in moving in to our new apartment with the tub but within two hours the contractors were there to resurface the tube. They jumped on issues we had with new apartment and accommodate to our needs.

(It is important in a community that borders the Santa Fe Trail) The maintenance people (although new from our previous crew) seem to be friendly and accomodating. The Lakewood Community is a very nice neighborhood thats conveniently located near Greenville Ave and a short drive or ride from Uptown and Deep Ellum. The Staff is a friendly one of a kind team. I travel a lot for my profession and gone for extended periods of time, I asked Jamie to look after my truck while I was gone because Im not from Dallas, and she checked on it everyday for me. Jamie also went above and beyond when I left my air conditioning on while I was gone for two weeks, and once I realized that I had forgot to turn it off, I called Jamie and she went to my apartment and shut it off right away! One of the Best Places in Dallas to live!

And since I’m judging a little racist as well because let’s face it we all know how racism works.P.s I took her card to remember her name and I misplaced it somehow but it was some sunny disposition name that totally did not fit however she sits closest to the right but at least she bothered right lol I mean since it’s actually how you choose to earn a living, the other one closest to the left didn’t even open her little lips.
