Management is very accommodating and everyone who works there is nice & friendly. Susan has definitely gone above and beyond. Service requests are completed the next day too. Andres fixed the sink leak immediately and also noticed some light bulbs were out and replaced them. Thanks everyone! -

I moved here in August 2017 because a good buddy of mine lives here and likes it. I absolutely love it here. It feels incredibly homey compared to a lot of other apartments in Austin, there are nice grounds to walk around, a cute little stream, two pools, a gym, grills, picnic tables, and a tennis court. I love hiking in the Blunn Creek nature preserve thats practically across the street. GREAT place to be active. They still have yet to put in a bike rack even though some of us have been asking for a long time. Other than that though I LOVE this community. -

What an awesome experience being welcome by someone from your hometown. Very appreciative of Jeanetta for showing us our future community. The turtles even welcome us such a treat to visit a property with a true nature aspect. -

I love it here! Super pretty and really lovely staff. I go to Texas State but I loved living here so much that the commute well worth it :) I love Andrea who works over in the office, if I ever have an issue I can go to her and shes on it! I even stay just to chat :) #creeksidelife -

After living here for 6 months, I finally feel comfortable writing great things about the complex and its staff. First off, the staff is wonderful. Im always greeted with a smile and my incoming packages are always stored and labeled upon pickup. Any maintenance issue that is logged through their website is resolved. Our apartment has logged 4 separate items and they have fixed those items day of. Noise is not an issue at this complex for me. There are no crazy parties even though we live by St. Edwards and I love that. The laundry machines operate through an RFID chip on a card you purchase in the office for $5. The laundry machines work consistently well! If there are any water shutoffs due to City of Austin work or issues at all, the staff will send out an email the night before which is appreciated. The pool and tennis courts are tucked away behind a creek and row of trees and feels almost resort like! My only annoyance is the fitness room which is lacking but I just go run through the nearby neighborhood. After hearing about my 3 coworkers having problems at their apartments around Austin, I feel I needed to share my positive feelings about my apartment complex. -

My husband and I have lived here going on 2 years and love this community! Management is always so kind and cheery and theres someone at the office every day of the week if you need something. The maintenance guys are quick and also very sweet. The apartments and complex are old so some age related issues are expected but it has so much character! The community is quiet and everyone who lives here is wonderful and given the freedom to make their home their own. Take a walk around and youll feel it! Love that we can call this place home. -

Pros: Forest Creek Apartments is one of the best communities in South/Central Austin. Perfect for college-aged students. Walking distance to St. Eds, right off the highway, but tucked away near a beautiful nature trail and a wonderful creek. Being near a running waterway and heavy trees does mean extra bugs and wildlife, so be ready for that (pest control is helpful.) Management is the best Ive experienced. They actually listen and understand and work with people. The beautiful surroundings and friendly residents make this a great place to be!Cons: The building is a bit old. Inefficient builds, poor carpentry, craftsmanship, and sealing/caulking work all around (I had three different models of doors in the same room, one of which did not smoothly fit, making it harder to closer.) Community washers/dryers are old often breaking or operating poorly, but they do work hard to keep all amenities functional. Any annoyance with poor building quality is easily overcome for the great price, location, management, and community.Overall: Great for people who want to be near the heart of a thriving and fun city. Perfect for people who spend most their time outside of their house. Management treats you like a human. Beautiful nature trails, and a garden plant-friendly community make this a great place to soak up the sun and a good central hub to explore the city. If youre more of a homebody, you may prefer a newer complex, unless youre a home-improvement professional. That being said its hard to beat all the pros given the $/sq.ft. -

Ive lived here once before and loved it so much that I ended up moving back! The apartments are spacious and have great views of the forest nearby. Management is really awesome and super friendly, especially Andrea! I honestly wouldnt want to live anywhere else in Austin, this place feels like home the moment you move in. The fellow residents are very friendly too! Also I love the parking here, I never have to drive around for a spot and dont have to worry about my friends getting towed like at other apartment complexes in the area.I love walking around this complex its really quiet and peaceful and the creekside area is absolutely beautiful. If you can grab a creekside apartment DO IT they are the best! -

Kelsie, the property manager/leasing agent is by far the best human in existence. Weve been living at first creek for 4 months and there hasnt been a problem she couldnt tackle. She is definitely the glue that keeps this otherwise below average apartment complex together. If we stay here it will be because of her. Good job on finding this gal Forest Creek -

Love this place! Beautiful green space, friendly and helpful staff, and great apartments. I love to stroll around the complex and look at everyones decorated patios. Its a really homie place :) Its right next to a great nature preserve as well! Perfect for inspiration!Also addressing some of these nasty reviews, I know Andrea personally and she is very professional and caring so shame on those people writing those lies. -

Wouldnt live anywhere else in south Austin. Close to the city while still being very green. Really close to I-35 which helps with my commute. Apartments themselves are affordable and have good floor plans. -

For the location and the size of the apartments, its a very affordable price. Lots of college students, with the university located nearby.
