I love living here! I have been here for 2 years and just renewed for my third. We just got new flooring and I am in love! These upgrades make the apartment so much prettier, dont know what these other reviews are on because I LOVE IT!! These upgrades were 100% needed to make this place shine! The new maintenance team is super helpful, special shout out to Robert, Brian, and Bobby! They are the best! Always take the best care and clearly care about us and our units. The space is amazing and we have so much room for storage. The office staff is super helpful, kind, and amazing! They rock! I had a bit of a rocky move-in but they have more than made up for it, I should also add that my move-in was under old management, the new management is wonderful! I have loved my time here at Copper, I love my unit, the amenities, EVERYTHING!! 10/10 recommend living here!

Maintenance is really good, as well as nice, friendly and caring! I went to the office today because i had an issue with my toilet and they came within 30 minutes and fixed the problem for me along with anything else we needed fixed through out our apartment! (we had a few light bulbs out through out the apartment, old ac vents that needed to be replaced , loose doorknobs, etc) He also checked & made sure anything else didnt maintenance before leaving!

Over the past two years of living here, my partner and I have had a lot of complaints. But the new maintenance team is amazing! Brian, Ken, Bobby and Ryan came in to replace our washer/dryer unit and went above and beyond. I really do appreciate their hard work and efficiency.

I moved in last December and while I had heard negative things about copper beech this new front office and maintenance team are awesome! Shout out to Brian for coming to help with out AC and also going above and beyond to help with other issues we had in the apartment!

5 Star Review specifically for Brian that is apart of the maintenance team. He was so kind and went above and beyond to help me out. I put in a maintenance request to fix my closet rack that fell and Brian fixed that, replaced my lightbulb, replaced my sink aerator, gave me fire alarm batteries, and fixed the springs on 2 of my doors. The best!

Copper is a good place to live if youre looking for a spacious place for a good price.Pros:When I put in maintenance requests theyre fixed within a week. I dont have problems with the front office theyre pretty polite to me. My neighbors that Ive met so far are nice and the roommate matching is pretty awesome (my roommates are cool). We just recently got an Internet upgrade and its good. They let you know when you receive a package at the office. They also send out alerts for things happening in the office such as food or if there is going to be maintenance happening around the complex. Theres a pool with grills available for use.Cons:The clubhouse is nice but some of the games like air hockey and such are broken or missing pieces. There are limited parking for visitors and dog poop everywhere. Itd be nice if there were pet waste clean up stations. The first year I was here it was pretty clean as far as trash, now not so much. I dont know if its the people moving or what but it looks like a dump. The whole complex is kind of old so dont expect updated appliances.Its a good apartment for a college student who isnt looking for extravagance . Overall I feel safe and comfortable here.

I’ve enjoyed my time living at Copper Beech! I love the amount of space within the apartments for the price. I have not seen this amount of space in any other ones in the area. The maintenance is great and usually come the same day if not the next. Majority of the staff is friendly. Although the amenities not being 24/7 like other apartments at the moment is not inconvenient. Overall I would recommend to a friend!

One of my biggest fears when renting an apartment is paying for amenities I’ll never use. After using the pool, clubhouse and gym multiple times I can honestly say that I haven’t had to worry about that with Copper Beech. The staff has been friendly with me and personally greets me with a smile every time I walk into the clubhouse. They are very genuine in their interactions with me and have answered every question or concern I had promptly. Weighing the cost/benefit ratio of living here it is a great choice for students.

Honestly love this complex! Great amenities offered! Customer service is amazing as well. The managers, Devon and Karen in the front office are incredibly helpful with everything! When I had an issue, Devon listened to my situation fully and made a solution happen. Great service! Maintenance has also been amazing with the entire move-in process and repairs! Definitely recommended Eli for when you need some help on repairs! Thank you Copper!!!

This is the 3rd apartment complex I have lived in San Marcos and in my opinion the best! Every time there was an issue, maintenance was there within the next day. The front office employees are extremely helpful and notifications for packages arrive within minutes of drop off. Have not had any issue involving any particular incidence. I am currently in the one bedroom apartment and it is fantastic. The price is extremely fair and competitive with the option of a car port. There are wall unit air conditioning , which is a little odd to me because it seems to be only in the one bedrooms, but i like sleeping with noise so it fits perfectly. Routine check-ups and yard maintenance is on top of their game. There are two bus stops on each end, so choose wisely lol. I highly recommend Copper Beech to anyone!

Maintenance is great, they are friendly guys that get out to you quick. Front desk attendants are always courteous and helpful. The two bus stops are easy and get you to campus in 15 minutes. The homes themselves are spacious and work just fine. Overall Nice amenities (pool, fitness center, volleyball court)One thing I would upgrade is the quantity/location of the visitors parking spaces, and maybe limit the amount of tow trucks that are permitted to patrol the premises. -BT

I recently called to inquire some information and Angelo answered the phone, he was very professional, and answered all my needs and then some.The property is well maintained, it has a pool and allows pets. I love that the living areas are big and that each bedroom has their own bathroom so so need to share with a roommate. Overall this is a great place to live at.

I have lived here for nearly 2 years and have resigned for next year. Love the layout. So spacious and has a lot of storage room. Definitely has one of the biggest bedrooms compared to other apartmentmemts in SM. And if you get the 3 bedroom you get an extra common room which is amazing when you have people visiting. Great location being right off of 35, makes it easy to get to and out of without dealing with traffic from Aquarian. Needs to improve visitor parking but overall I enjoy living here.

Love Copper Beech! Moved into their two bedroom town-home and just loved the newly upgraded units and the space (huge)! The apartments are in a great location and in a safe neighborhood. I always get a bus to campus, as there are several bus stops. The management is wonder, if I ever need anything I can always rely on them to answer my questions efficiently. And again the SPACE is wonderful!

I have lived at Copper Beech for the past three years, and during my time here Ive seen continuous upgrades to both the units and the amenities. From upgrading all the indoor unit furniture, to the outdoor pool furniture, Copper Beech has truly made an effort to improve their complex.In addition, I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Aleesa, and our property manager, Erica. They have helped my roommates and I tremendously over the past couple weeks dealing with a complicated living situation. It required them to spend several hours of their time (in turn) helping us out, and making our situation work. While all the staff is friendly and helpful, these two really went above and beyond. (also shoutout to Reese!)While every complex generally includes a bus route to campus, a pool, and your own room, Copper Beech stands above the rest. To list a couple of features Copper has that other apartments dont:-Larger Bedrooms than most apartments in San Marcos-Large gym that includes an actual squat rack (which is rare)-Lower rent than most apartments-Lastly, and most importantly, a management staff thats actively working to improve the property, and your time here as a resident.

Overall, Copper Beech is a great apartment complex to live in as a college student. The maintenance is quick and 24/7 if there is an emergency. The staff has all been very kind to me during different situations. And the price is great for the amount of space in each apartment!

Maintence has gotten a lot better this year compared to last. The staff is friendly as always and management could do a little better in managing. I love the events that the apartment complex does, but maybe invest more in getting the apartment better contractors to do things right the first time.

The staff & managers are so kind and thoughtful. Unfortunately they were so understaffed for the size of this property and they are the only ones getting blamed for the conditions of the apartments. 10 people is not enough to take care of a 1,250 size complex, however they did the best that they could with what they were given. Huge shoutout to Erica and Aleesa who stayed strong and calm throughout the move ins.

Our daughter has lived in Copper Beech for two years and absolutely loves it. The maintenance folks get there quick and take decisive action making things right again. She enjoys the atmosphere of college living at its finest and hasnt considered living anywhere else in San Marcos. Thanks for a great experience!

I used to live at Copper Beech, I thought it was horrible, Im not going to lie. The management, the charges. So I moved. I thought I would love living at Aspen off of Aquarena. I was absolutely wrong. Aspen has me missing the open space and sunlight from Copper Beech. Wide open green fields.. Just the whole set up is beautiful. While I lived at Copper I found myself envying my friends apartments.. But I soon realized all of the complexes have problems. From talk I hear & what Ive experienced. Coppers pros definitely weigh out the cons. The rooms are huge. As well as the living room and kitchen. Its pretty safe and out in the open.

Lived here for a year and had a great experience. Would only advice to get parking stripes in the lot repainted.Management seems to have been pretty responsive throughout the year... we had a problem with our washer mid-year but staff was mostly responsive and ultimately replaced it. Other maintenance issues were fixed within 24 hours. Manager was always responsive and flexible to work with.

My favorite thing about Copper Beech is the SIZE of the apartment. So affordable - you get what you pay for. I live in a two bedroom with one roommate. My roommate was random but before signing, the complex told me my roommate would have a pet and it worked out so well. By far the best experience Ive had at an apartment in my four years in San Marcos!

The apartments are super spacious compared to other apartments in the area. Karen and her office staff are incredibly helpful and communicate really well with residents. Maintenance responds very quickly and are helpful. I absolutely love living here!

Great place if youre the hangout house. copper has plenty of space for all of my friends. Nice big kitchen that i havent found in any other apartment. Buses are normally packed so plan on giving yourself some extra time on the way to class. Biggest downfall of this place is the trash and litter around the yards :(

Alright folks, here’s the sitch. Not even a resident at Copper Beech yet but I’ll definitely be a future resident. I’ve heard nothing but good things from my friends who live there currently and I’ve stayed a few nights in their place as well. Bedrooms and kitchen are HUGE. But yknow what definitely sold the place for me? Our tour guide Paige M. Kid you not, she is the first guide that I have met where ive felt they were honest and cut the bs. She was so funny and so helpful and told you everything you really wanted to here. She was even honest about some of the maintenance functions of the complex. I was so tired at that point from being completely blindsided by other apartment complexes (dont even get me started on the heights), that it felt so amazing to have an office staff that was honest, up front, and super cool. My roommates and I loved her and we are definitely be staying there next year.

I recommend this apartment complex to anyone. One of my fav things is how good the staff are. Everyone is happy to greet you and help you with any situation. Mail service notifications are on point. When a package is delivered, you get a notification shortly after. Also, the bedrooms are pretty spacious!

Truthfully the only reason they are receiving 5 stars is because of Markus Brown (head maintenance tech) tended to my LONG request of maintenance. These apartments are falling apart but he always has a smile on his face when he comes to help. He’s also always the only guy to come when it involves heavy lifting etc. what are the other staff men doing to where he has to work like this all by himself? Anywho if you put in a request make sure it’s him. He seems to be the only person qualified.

I think it’s a good option if you’re looking for affordable housing since it’s bigger than most places. Maintenance is decent too but make sure all your appliances work well my dishwasher is kinda wack because water collects at the bottom and it kinda smells after a while. Overall 4stars🤓

When asked the question Did you enjoy your stay at copper beech my answer was immediately no. For starters the tenants next to my friends room got into an altercation in the middle of the night when I really just wanted to enjoy my stay here. In the middle of their altercation I then heard some mad man looking for someone named Mark or maybe Marvin. However when I went to inspect the area there was no one there which obviously makes me believe that this location is haunted like in that one game Luwigis Mansion. Now after all of this you may be asking yourself why is this guy giving Copper Beech 5 stars? Is it because of big chungus and shaggy? No the simple answer is Joe. Hes pretty cool cat. Joe is the lord and savior of Copper Beech.
