    I’ve lived here for over a year, I re-signed my lease after an amazing year. I love this community.With management that’s responsive and quick!     Living at a CO/OP summer st. has been an incredible experience. I never thought I would say that about an apartment complex. But, when it really comes down to it, Chris, Chad, and Cynthia are the ones that make this place so special. They are the friendliest staff and go above and beyond to support this community and build it into a safe place. I had a concern once about someone coming into the building that didn’t live here and Chris already knew about the person and was able to reassure me/take action if needed. They take all our concerns seriously and are patient with us. This place has less amenities than many other apartments, but they make up for it with a warm, safe, supportive and friendly community.

    I had an exceptional experience at this apartment complex. From the moment I inquired about the property, the staff was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Cynthia was just amazing and so friendly. She took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and was willing to help out in every possible way. Love the apartment complex, it was so nice and beautiful! I look forward to living here soon hopefully!

    4.5/5 (google doesnt do half stars). Fantastic front staff and very well maintained hallways within the complex. Very walkable community not too far from the bayou. Apartment is easy to navigate through which was a problem in my last apt complex. Utilities are bundled in a single fee. Apartment is well priced for the area. I havent noticed any security issues but I have heard of some in the apartment complex next door so be careful at nightThe only glaring issue I noticed is that there simply doesnt seem to be enough parking, and you will have to use overflow parking if coming late. The parking is also a bit tight.

    My husband and I just recently moved into this complex.We have been more than impressed and pleased during our time here!From the touring of apartment, to move in, and troubleshooting issues.. Chris & Cynthia have been an exceptional management team.They are incredibly responsive and truly believe in an excellent and safe residential experience.You can count on them to quickly fix problems from all angles of apartment living.There aren’t as many amenities, but the complex location and quality of the units and appliances make up for it.If your priority is a top notch management team that are strong communicators and that care for their residents… this is the place for you!

    I currently have the pleasure of living at this apartment complex and I must say, the management team truly sets the bar high for how apartment complexes should be run. Chris, along with Cynthia, goes above and beyond to ensure that residents feel like they are part of a true community. Even though the amenities might be limited, the stellar management more than makes up for it.While other apartment complexes may boast a myriad of amenities, this place demonstrates that exceptional management can more than make up for any shortcomings. The pool, one of the few amenities available, is well-maintained and provides a great space for residents to relax and unwind.Living here, I have never felt more taken care of as a tenant. Knowing that Chris and Cynthia are looking out for the best interests of the residents gives me peace of mind. They truly prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of those who call this place home.

    We moved here in April 2024. From the management team, Chris and Cynthia to maintence guy Chad everything is on par. They are on top of things and the place is beautiful and very nice to live here. We love it and are very happy we moved in!

    I moved in this past August and have nothing but good things to share. Firstly, Chris and Cynthia are truly the best of the best. I can’t express how grateful I am to have worked with them throughout the move in process and after. They make the COOP feel truly like home. The maintenance team is always on top of their game and respond the quickest I’ve ever seen at an apartment complex. Darrian (“D”) has been so amazing, handling every single thing that comes his way. The complex is VERY secure and located at such a convenient spot. I did a blind move and never physically visited the property until move in day, and I am so happy I chose the COOP. Thank you to the entire COOP team- y’all are the best!!

    I Recently moved into the CO-OP, Steven helped answer all my questions and has been helpful resolving any issues I have had.the experience has been amazing the complex is pretty awesome. There is construction still going on but it’s not an issue.I do wonder if there will be any type of events to get to know others in the complex

    Im one of the first residents at Co-OP at Summer Street and IM STILL HERE!!! When i moved in, the main building was still in construction. Ive been a neighbor of the Heights and Washington Military area for over 10 years. I love this area! I have been at COSS for 3 years and the amount of love and grace I have received as a resident at Co-Op Summer Street is unmeasurable. although small, we have a strong and fun team. Monthly Meet-N-Greets with full sponsorship from our management teams, patio parties, off-site bar/recreation parties... its a great opportunity to meet and make friends.okay important stuff: need a repair or consulation in your apartment? just send it in our COSS app and itll be taken care of asap.Im Heights snobby, I would not be here this long if it wasnt a great community.k. love you. bye!

    We moved in a few months ago into the CoOp Townhomes and we love it! The property is safe and in such a great location. To top it off, Christopher has been such a great property manager.     Really enjoyed living at this apartment complex this last year (2022-2023). Staff offers excellent customer service. They are all very attentive to the residents needs and will take care of any issues at a fast pace. All service requests were take care of pretty quickly! :) COOP Property Manager Chris is passionate about his work which reflects on the property and his residents. Apartments were also affordable and property is well maintained.

    I work as an apartment locator and have toured the property a few times for my clients needing different floor-plans. The office staff Chris and Ms. Cindy have both been so helpful each time. They answer all questions and go through every possible option for my clients. I have enjoyed sending clients as referrals to them thus far. The property is beautiful and so well maintained. Great location, amenities, quality, and price point. Its a smaller community so you are sure to feel connected with you neighbors and the leasing staff!

    This has been the most peaceful and secure complex I have lived in since I moved to Houston! The Coop team is amazing ,so attentive! From noticing property doors being left open and asking folks to be vigilant in keeping the property secure to updating us on property maintenance to keeping the property clean and always being responsive, and the events!! Kudos to the Coop Team for going above and beyond always with a smile and professionalism!!

    I moved to Houston from Washington, DC on July 2022. Although I never got a chance to tour in person before signing my lease, Chris was absolutely amazing in sharing every detail I needed about co-op (even went and measured walls for me so I could size my furniture). I’ve enjoyed each day here since moving in thanks to the amazing staff and friendly community. The location is also perfect with all my favorite spots less than 10 minutes away.

    I love Co-Op at summer street. This was my first apartment on my own and they have showed me nothing less of comfort and generosity. I’m on my 3rd year in the apartments and thinking about moving to their town homes.     Just signed our lease renewal letter. We’ve been pretty happy here. Maintenance is always fast and attentive. Management team is kind and friendly. The apartments are one of the best looking ones in the area, it’s always clean, our apt interior is modern and spacious and with a good view of downtown. Definitely happy to renew our lease.

    For starters, my time at the COOP Summer Street has been amazing. Seriously, I’ve stayed at many apartments but this small community takes the cake. Prior to moving in, I met with Chris, a leasing agent, and he told me everyone here was friendly and that I’d fit right in. To my surprise, that has proven more than true. I have yet to meet anyone here who doesn’t speak and actually engage in conversation. Some other positive features of this property includes the insulation, noise levels, security, and prompt maintenance staff. On the rare occasions where I’ve had issues with my apartment, I generally send Chris a text and he ensures that the maintenance team stops by before leaving for the day. I could go on and on, but in summation, this has been the best move so far!

    Coop Summer Street is a hidden gem! The community is walking distance to HEB, Kroger, and White Oak Bayou. The brand new apartment community is super well maintained especially considering the amount of construction going on in the area. The community offers affordable apartments in the Washington heights area. The community has a super cute pool and pet park! It has limited parking options but we’ve never had an issue finding a spot. I would highly recommend this community as it is a great value in an awesome location!

    I have been at Co/Op for about a month now and I absolutely love it! Chris the ass’t Manager was a blessing for sure I was very needy as I was moving from Washington, DC so, I trusted him to provide me details and videos of the unit/property! Upon arriving Chris stayed and worked late to greet me and give me a full in person tour. He even helped me back my vehicle off the trailer WHAT PROPERTY MANAGER DOES THAT??? The property is very well maintained and quiet which another plus. Overall 100/10!

    I’m so glad I moved here. CHRIS is wonderful and always very communicative. Very happy he was promoted to assistant manager- he deserves it. ERIC is the nicest person ever. He goes above and beyond to find a solution to ongoing tricky maintenance issues & I have noticed he makes sure to get to know residents dogs! My good boy is never scared when Eric has to come in because he is not a stranger.

    My experience with Chris was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, genuine, and very accommodating. For one reason another, I wasn’t able to rent from them, but Chris continued to help me even though he knew I wasn’t renting from them. We need more people like Chris who are competent and genuine.     Pros1. Management is very kind & personable.2. Location is the best!! Can get most places in about 20mins.3. The hanging art in the halls is a nice touch.4. Neighbors are cool.ConsBiggest concern1. Security is a problem! Gates are consistently broken with NO communication about the repair timeline!!!!This is problematic as anyone can walk into the parking garage & tamper with vehicles. Sometimes the secured entrance door is also broken so it doesn’t lock. So now you have a potential for a breached garage & building. There is sometimes a security guard - mainly lounging, not doing anything. He is not at the open gate checking who is entering.I hope the gates are fixed soon. There is criminal activity at the apartment complex next door. Keep that nonsense over there & away from coop.Minor issues2. Communication with residents could improve. They typically only communicate about parking spots. Not about things we want to know like … scheduled fire drills while folks are wfh or about when the gates will be fixed. I would like to see more frequent communication.3. Generals upkeep of the building. Hallways have bad smells. Could use some commercial grade air fresheners in all the hallways. The carpets in the halls need cleaned and the walls/trim need spot painted.4. They started allowing potential residents to do self guided tours using a QR code. So folks can enter the building unattended? That’s weird considering we have 2 or 3 leasing staff. I don’t like this.Overall, a good place to live. I will renew.Just those few areas of possible growth I listed above. If both gates are fixed and working consistently, I would upgrade to 4.5/5 stars.

    I live at Coop at Summer Street in one of the townhomes. You cant beat the location and the pricing. Also the complex is dog friendly which was perfect for my 6 month old puppy. The dog park with all the tenants really is a fun social spot and my puppy loves it. I definitely recommend living here.

    I moved in early July of this year and since then it has been nothing short of amazing!! It’s a brand new property so there is still some construction going on but besides that no issues what so ever. The asst manager (Shay) for the property has been available for any and every issue I’ve had and she made sure that they were handled with an expeditious manner. Very convenient for commute and grocery stores (all in 5-10 min walking distance). Definitely recommend this property to all seeking an apartment in the heights area!

    So far it’s been great living here (2 weeks). No issues with the construction still happening. If there are any issues, my concerns are addressed as quickly as possible. The maintenance team has done everything to be as efficient as possible with any issues I have. Love the area and super convenient location. Everything is close by plus the bayou and park are nearby. I recommend these apartments!
