    I toured Boterra with my daughter and was so impressed with the property.  The place is absolutely gorgeous and very well kept with. Has a beautiful pool area. They also put on Community events which is a plus. We toured other properties and can honestly say I think the Boterra at Lago Mar is the best community in the area. We were introduced to everyone in the office before our tour and 5 stars is not enough. They were all so welcoming and made me feel like this is the place for my daughter to call home. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a new place.

    On the hunt for aplace to stay near Galveston for a job and Boterra hits all the check boxes. Clean facilities, lots of amenities, great staff, and a fair price.     Lived here for 2.5 years and the experience was amazing! Megan, Celeste, and Sharon are all so helpful and accommodating. Only moving because I got a new job, otherwise its the best service and priced apartments around!

    My house needed major renovations and I needed to find an apartment quickly. I went to several different apartment complexes in the Texas City area which were very disappointing until I visited Boterra. It was my last stop on an exhausting Saturday where Megan greeted me with the biggest smile. I didn’t think I could afford it, but she explained the incentives to me which would knock my rent down. She also asked if I wanted a garage or a yard. A yard in an apartment complex for my dog to relieve herself without putting on a leash? I was sold. I moved in exactly a week later. Megan was there every step of the way even helping program my door.The apartment is so comfortable and new. The area is quiet and the amenities phenomenal. Everyone in the front office greets you with a smile. They made a really bad situation turn into a stress free experience.

    Spectacular experience!!! I moved in early January and Megan made it the easiest process of the apartments Ive lived in. She walked me through the entire process with a smile on her face. she helped me with my service animal paperwork and made sure that I received every veteran benefit they offered while thanking me for my service. The maintenance crew fixed the only 2 problems I had brought up within hours. The apartment doesnt feel like an apartment, it feels like a home. Excited for the times that come living here. Thank you Megan for all of your assistance!!

    Wasn’t sure exactly what I was looking for when I went in but I met Celeste and not only did she answer all my questions she found the perfect floor plan for me!!! Now I just need to figure out when I can move in! Beyond excited!!!!

    This is a review after living at Boterra for the past year. I have nothing but great things to say about this apartment. I’ve had such a good experience that I’ve convinced three of my other classmates to move here as well and they can also attest to how nice it is. I am a medical student at UTMB Galveston and this was the perfect location thats right in the center of all three hospitals. I’ve never had to worry about safety or crime. The entire complex is kept extremely clean even the trash areas. Everyone’s very friendly and kind here, including neighbors and management. Just to name a few instances, I went to a pet shelter with no plans to adopt, but decided to do so last minute. The shelter needed a letter from my apartment and so I called the leasing office and Megan Hobbs immediately sent over everything I needed and I was able to adopt that day! When I first moved in, she also accommodated me by walking to my apartment and staying there so that the Xfinity people could set up my internet while I was gone. When my garage disconnected from my fob, one of the other agents walked over to my apartment and fixed the issue in a few minutes. If I did not have to move for work, I would have loved to stay at Boterra as long as possible.

    I absolutely love living here! Everything here is new so you don’t have to worry about something breaking down or your home falling apart. All the units are stunning. I’ve been in a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom and both of them are stunning. As for the office, Megan has such a great personality and is always happy to be there. I’ve never gone in and seen her in a bad mood. Her energy and the amount of care she has for everyone is unmatched! Karrington is very quick at getting things done and won’t keep you in the dark, she will always keep you updated during the application process. And the maintenance communication is freaking awesome. Most apartment communities it’s usually really rough trying to get into contact with maintenance but here when you put in a work order they actually have a thing setup where you can text them and they actually text back. Jacob was keeping me updated on the small work order I put in and he is very quick at resolving issues if you have any! Thank you to the entire team here at Boterra! Truly exceptional!

    Listen firstly Megan at the front desk is TOP TEAR! Best agent I’ve ever worked with! I swear!! Super professional EXTREMELY nice! Even when I forgot things she was just amazing all around the board!!! Next these apartments are just phenomenal! Extremely spacious, clean, not a bug in site! Between the Game room, pool, chill room are the best I’ve seen so far the staff amazing everyone 24 hour maintenance blows my mind and valet trash!! 10/10 I freaking love this place!! Shout out to Megan again! She’s the best!!

    I love living here. I have been here for a little over a month and the team here has been so helpful. Megan was quick to assist when I needed to quickly print a resume for a spontaneous job interview, Karrington was helpful in getting maintenance requests sent in, and Angela was helpful with getting my lease terms figured out. I have lived in a variety of apartment complexes over the years but Boterra stands out as the best so far. In-unit washer and dryer, gated community, quiet grounds, nice/updated gym, beautiful pool and valet trash services add to the greatness of Boterra. 10/10 recommend living here!

    My family and I just Moved in a couple days ago and we already made the mistake of locking ourselves out without the keys and without setting the door code. I was Able to call maintenance even with the office being closed, and while it’s not considered an urgent call, Boterra at Lago mar and the maintenance team treated the situation as if it was urgent. The team responded within 30 minutes and Shane showed up to help. He not only assisted with setting a new door code, but he also stayed to help with a couple of other minor maintenance things. Shane was very informative and knowledgeable. I really Appreciate the warm welcome and help that Boterra at lago mar and their team offered. Thanks!

    I toured the Bottera a few weeks ago and was so impressed with Megan and the tour she gave me. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. The amenities and activities for residents seem plentiful and fun. At that point I wasnt sure if was going to really move the the 55 and up complex just down the road. By the end of the tour I was convinced I wanted to move to Bottera. Megan, Celeste, Danielle and the rest of the Bottera team did everything they could to make sure I got the type of unit I wanted and everything went smoothly with the application process. I am over the moon excited to soon be living at Bottera. The wait to move in is driving me crazy! I can honestly say I think the Bottera at Lago Mar is the best community in the area, the others just dont compare.

    I have been fortunate to live in some nice places in this country bc of work but I must say that The Boterta at Lago Mar has to be on the top of my list !!! Not only is this a beautiful community but it has the Best front office staff imaginable . They are very courteous, and caring at every interaction they have with their residents . They even had a gift waiting for me on my birthday , which was so well appreciated being I’m away from family for work . I highly recommend this organization if you’re in the market for your next living experience ….

    Ive toured this complex and fell in love. It is a great and gated property in a safe location. The apartments are brand new and all have quality appliances. Megan Hobbs helped us so much through touring and applying for the apartments. She was a dream and kept us excited during the touring and application process. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and has kept us in the loop of any and all updates/changes. The floor plans are spacious and the amenities are great. The pool is beautiful and the gym is spacious with a good variety of machines. Very excited to move in with this management and property.

    Hands down an amazing place to call home!!!! Ever since we moved in, we have fell in love with it. also has hands down the best maintenance crew!!!! Jake and Josh are very knowledgeable and prompt on maintenance needs or questions. One day Josh even offered to help me with what I thought was my ignition on my car but come to find out I just didnt have any gas in it. Overall we love it here.

    Went here an liked everything we saw. The property is beautiful and has great amenities. The reason I am writing this review is to give potential movers the heads up of being certain that you want to stay here or that there will be no changes to your plans before you move in. I signed my lease earlier than my move in date to get my services and utilities setup. We after signing my lease found out I wouldn’t be moving to Texas and wouldn’t need the apartment, this is all before my expected move in date. I notified In person I needed to cancel my lease. I had paid all deposits and prorated rents to move in. I was informed because I signed my lease early I would not be getting and of my money back because the have an early lease buyout clause stating you are responsible for 2 months rent. I appreciate them not charging me the two month lease cancellation fee. So I just you to know please don’t sign your lease until your move in day and you pick up the keys or you could lose your deposit and have to pay a early lease cancellation fee. So I thank Megan and Angie for not charging me the lease cancellation fee.

    This place is wonderful! I moved in a little under a year ago and the whole process was a breeze.Megan even helped me transfer from a 1br to a 2br recently and was so accommodating and helpful with the whole thing.The entire staff is always cheerful and theyre always promoting community events, which is fantastic.The apartments themselves are gorgeous, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, and the amenities are top notch!

    I moved into my new apartment a little over a week ago and so far, this is the best experience I’ve had!! This will be the 5th apartment complex I have leased with in 4 years, and all of them have been terrible to mediocre. The Boterra team is so amazing and responsive to their tenants. Josh and Jake are in charge of most maintenance requests and they are extremely nice and helpful- I have already had to have them come out once or twice for very simple requests and each time they have responded within less than 24 hours and immediately addressed my concerns. The ladies in the office are also incredibly responsive to any concerns, whether it is maintenance or lease related. Megan and Aubrie are super sweet gals and I love chatting with them any time I pass by the office. I know the apartments are brand new, though I acknowledge I can be high maintenance at times and yet the team has NEVER made me feel this way!! I genuinely hope to keep Boterra as my home for at LEAST a few years!!

    From the moment we toured Aubrie has been nothing but amazing and made us feel at home. From application to moving us in she was on top of it! The community is gorgeous plus the management and maintenance staff clearly take pride in all that they do. Huge shout out to Josh also who has completed service requests for our home with extreme efficiency. We just moved in but can clearly tell that Boterra offers an elevated living experience. Cant wait to see what else is in store!
