Been living here for a couple years and have never had any major complaints nor issues. Management is very kind, always deals with issues in a timely manner, and it’s clear they’re very organized when it comes taking care of the whole complex and it’s facilities. They also occasionally host events for the community like Bingo which is always fun. Same goes with the maintenance crew, who have always fixed any apartment issues I had within a couple hours of putting in a work order and I always see working around the complex. My daughters are also big fans of the gym that’s available for all residents. Overall, the whole apartment complex is safe and well taken care of; a lovely place to live!

The entire staff at The Avenues at Craig Ranch are outstanding. Erin, Elizabeth and Lisa are always available to help. Nelson and the maintenance people are also outstanding. It is obvious that this Managemebt team really cares about their tenants. They go to every length to make you happy. As far as the buildings, the apartments are excellent, the upkeep of the grounds are excellent and the swift reply for any maintenance need is answered promptly. You could say it is a community with a heart. I wholeheartedly recommend moving to The Avenues at Craig Ranch. I am starting my sixth year here and to me it is HOME. Thank you for being who you all are.

Elizabeth, Lisa and the rest of the staff in the office have been fantastic - always available to help, returns calls/emails promptly, and will reach out quickly if I have a package waiting at the office needing to be picked up. Maintenance has always been great - they do not take a long time to fix any issues in the apartment and are very pleasant. Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in the area!

I choose the Avenues at Craig ranch because of great Frisco ISD Schools.We like to live at The Avenues at Craig Ranch apartments it’s very safe clean and comfortable Apartments here are upgraded and pretty big in size.I love the pool area. Love the clubhouse Cant beat it. My apartment is quiet and comfortable.The Staff is very attentive and helpful with great customer service. Elizabeth and Lisa are very sweet and always ready to help.The management is very responsive and I had only one maintenance call. They arrived right away and fixed the issue.Highly recommend

Honestly, Lisa Hastings herself is getting this complex a 5 star review. She was very welcoming, professional, and she was not pushy. The apartment s sales themselves but the staff makes you feel like you’re at home. My wife and I are having a big move coming up (expecting a child) and the only reason we aren’t picking these apartments is the distance to work and 3rd floor only being available. If for some odd reason we don’t get approved at the other complex this will be the one we choose. Seriously 2 visits and I almost wanna pay extra to stay at a hotel just to live here. I am here to tell you the Maintenance staff at Craig Ranch Apartments is top notch. In particular the gentleman who arrived at my girlfriends place to take care of some issues, Mr. Mike Soto. Mike delivered some touch up paint for our bedroom wall that matched perfectly. She also had a problem with the washing machine that I could not for the life of me figure out what was wrong, the thing just wasnt working and displaying some strange code language on the screen. Mike came in like a pro and diagnosed the issue with ease. He even didnt mind that I stuck around and asked a million questions. I didnt even know these things had computers and circuit boards in them, luckily we had a knowledgeable, courteous, professional and handsome man named Mike Soto to take of our needs. Next time I see Mike I am definitely going to get him an iced coffee from Sweetwaters.

The staff is extremely friendly. Apartments are good quality and updated. The pool is beautiful and they have a decent gym. I was in an apartment location that wasn’t ideal, and Erin, the manager; went out of her way to move me to the perfect unit. She was extremely helpful and proactive. I’m now in a townhome-style unit and I love it. Quiet, close to a walking trail, and close to a small dog park on-site.

We have only been in the apartments at Craig Ranch for a few months, but our experience has been great so far. The management team is nice, especially Haleigh who helped us with our lease. The maintenance crew changed managers just a few weeks after we moved in so Im not sure what the old manager was like to compare to, but the new one is great. They are always riding around in the golf carts and I have even noticed them picking up trash from the parking lot on several occasions. Ty is the one who is assigned the work orders for our apartment. He is absolutely amazing! He is efficient, friendly, and always comes the same day to fix an issue. The complaints I have for the apartment is that since we are on the bottom floor, we can hear everything above. Our neighbors upstairs have two little girls who I assume have taken up clogging as the progressive commercial suggests, but more likely just like to play that the floor is lava. I know that is part of living in an apartment that you may have loud neighbors, but it gets frustrating nonetheless. The other issue is that not everyone picks up after their pet outside - again, a problem of the people around us and not the apartment management themselves. There is no covered parking as other reviews have stated or garages which is a downside, but for everything that is good for this place, we have decided that is worth it. All in all, we are very pleased with the complex and are comfortable here hopefully until we can purchase a home of our own.

I have lived here since November 2021 (reviewing October 2022), and am very satisfied with the community. The neighbors are friendly and clean, and the community dumpster is emptied on a regular basis.I recently moved to a different unit within the same community (wanted additional space) and while there were a few more paperwork hurdles than I thought, the front office staff - specifically Emily William, was very helpful in walking me through the process over the phone.The complaints are the walls a bit thin (can hear the occasional conversation / TV) and some stains on the concrete, but considering I am now located closest to the community dumpster, I do not notice any smell.The online resident portal and repair request system is easy to use, and front office usually picks up promptly (< 2 min), and are polite and professional.I wanted to specifically thank Michael Soto, one of their community handymen. He is always extremely professional and fixed any issue I submitted promptly and thoroughly. The staff does care and does a good job overall, and their repair team is excellent. The community landscape is well maintained and is located next to a nice walking trail along a creek and is fairly quiet considering its location off Stacy Road and near Custer Road. I plan to continue living here for the foreseeable future.

I am in love with my apartment and this complex. The units are beautiful, it is very quiet.... granted my upstairs neighbors are heavy footed, but that’s the reality of living in an apartment, so if people complain about that.. not sure what to tell them.Maintenance is on top of their game, as well as the girls in the front office... they all make you really feel like you matter, which doesn’t happen everywhere.The property is kept clean, My son and I always have close parking, and the few neighbors I have met are great. I hope to make this my home for years to come.*** Editing on 1/25/2021 - just renewed for my 3rd renewal - this is still one of the best complexes I have ever been in. The property manager is awesome and listens when there are minor problems, they fix them right away... maintenance is awesome still, there have been changes but everything is still fixed within a day. I have read negative reviews and it sounds like more personal issues than professional. I still give this place 5 stars, nothing at all wrong with the apartment community.

Truly enjoyed my time at the avenues at craig ranch. the complex is a really nice size, not too big which was later appreciated and it felt like home. the apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. the tall ceilings were awesome. the staff was warm and welcoming in every interaction i had with them and when i left, i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. highly recommended for anyone who wants to live in a great, quiet neighborhood with great amenities and real down to earth people who care about others. top notch. a+. 5 stars. 🙏

I lived at the apartments for 13months and it was during a really tough time in my life. Everything around me was insane but i had my peace at home. The staff was absolutely amazing. I only had a few maintenance request but when I did any issue was resolved immediately or within 24hrs. Maintenance helped me install my ring doorbell. If I ever had questions or concerns they were prompt to assist. The property is clean and well maintained. I enjoyed they gym, it was never too crowded and always clean. The community is also great. They often have food trucks come out and other community events like pumpkin painting around the holidays. The price was also great.

We have lived here for over 2 years. Since that we have seen owners/management staff and maintenance change. The team they have now is amazing and they work very hard to keep all of us happy here on the property. Due to some family health issues we needed to transfer to a bigger apartment. Hailey worked extremely hard to get everything worked out for us in a timely manner due to the issue with our family. We are truly grateful for everyone here. Sandra and Erin are great with my girls every time we stop by to say hello or pick up our packages. Any time we need anything fixed the guys are here the same day. Nelson is amazing!! He has put together a great team that works hard to take care of the property and anything that comes up!! The only thing I wish we had here was a play ground for the kids! Other than that this is a great place to call HOME!!

I used to live in these apartments last year. I was there for about 4 years and got a new job in Dallas so I had to move due to the distance. Moving to Dallas was the worse thing I could’ve ever done! My lease is up and I wanted to come back home to the avenues and they accepted me with open arms lol! The staff here is amazing! All of the ladies in the front office are always so welcoming and personable. I toured with Lisa when I first visited, and she made the entire process seamless and stress free. Maintenance is quick and efficient. I dont really submit that many work orders, but when I do, they are completed within 24-48 hours.The apartments themselves are cozy. The community has a perfect location - SH121, 75 Central and 380/University are all within a few minutes of a drive from here. This makes getting to and from anywhere in DFW relatively convenient (depending on traffic that day).There are plenty of options for grocery, fast food, shopping and restaurants nearby. There is an Aldi within walking distance from my apartment, which is really helpful with the way gas prices are trending.Definitely consider this place when you are searching for a new home. I highly recommend!

The green areas are always but always well taken care of, the 2 dog parks are kept very clean, no issues with neighbors. Whenever I had a maintenance issue, it was always handle very professionally and fast.The girls at the front office are just marvelous, always friendly and specially willing to help.I would recommend this place to anybody looking for that quiet and well maintained residential complex.

UPDATE (8/12/22)After my scathing review earlier this year which at the time was fueled by a lot going on, I have to say that management really stepped up to the plate and took a lot of corrective action.All hallways throughout the entire property were power washed and they look a whole lot better. The contributing factor for the grease and mess in the breezeways was mainly due to lazy people not bringing in their trash cans or leaving them out letting stuff leak all over the floor. This is no longer the case as management communicated clearly to all residents this was not acceptable and fines would be levied if people didn’t bring in their trash cans on pick up days, not seal bags correctly, etc.The hornets finally went away after the hot weather settled in and maintenance came by and did their best to caulk and seal any cracks and crevices the critters were nesting in.The neighbor’s howling dog was finally dealt with and since my initial complaint Im pleased to report I have not heard the dogs since.The pool opened on-time for the summer and has been lovely (I just wish people would pick up after themselves!) and NEW and more pool furniture was provided which was a real plus. Also they added a second propane canister to the BBQ (although even with two, it’s still iffy by the end of the weekend if any gas is left, especially after holiday weekends like 4th of July, etc.)I did renew my lease, but then due to a family situation I had to vacate out of state, otherwise I would have stayed for another 12 months.In short, apartment living isn’t for the faint at heart or sometimes easy (love thy neighbor really applies!) especially if like me, you just moved out of a freestanding home with no neighbors.Lastly, I will say the maintenance team here is PHENOMENAL - Nelson, Mike, Juan, Fernando; the whole team (work requests are often completed same day or next day – never had an issue with any of the guys coming in and doing excellent work) and management really did kick it into high gear after my somewhat harsh review.I would recommend living here. The apartments are lovely, very quiet and safe, landscaping is well maintained and the green beltway behind the property along Rowlett Creek is a major plus to walk/jog/bike on.I will miss my haven that I called home (and work office) for the past 10 months. Thank you Erin, Courtney, (Lisa and Elizabeth - I owe you an in-person apology for going ape one day - flowers? lunch? Mea Maxima Culpa!)

I’ve had a great experience living here, so much so we moved to another apartment within the same complex. Elizabeth and Lisa especially make the process seem less. I was having difficulties with my insurance and getting the correct information from them and Elizabeth took the time to call them for me to get it sorted out. They definitely go above and beyond to help out and make life just a little bit easier.

I recently relocated from El Paso to McKinney for work and have only lived at this apartment complex for a short while, albeit, I can’t say enough great things about my experience thus far. The community is quiet, peaceful, and well maintained. In searching for a new place to reside, there was certainly no shortage of apartments to choose from, but for me, what set this community apart from the others was the exceptional customer service. I worked closely with Lindsay for approximately 6 months prior to relocating and she truly went above and beyond my expectations in all aspects of the leasing process. There is something to be said about a leasing agent that is willing to put in the extra time and effort in making sure that all my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly and that my transition went as smooth as possible. To me, this speaks volumes and ultimately led to my decision to move here. The unit layouts are spacious, ergonomically designed, and the finishes are great especially for this price point. Parking is never an issue and the complex is within close proximity of numerous restaurants and shopping centers. I highly recommend this community if you are searching for quality dwelling at a reasonable price.

After 2 years decided to move but this complex was good to me the staff were great and always friendly, the property was kept up and well maintained. maintenance guys were always there promptly when needed. I definitely will miss being a resident. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone. Great parking, nice pool, good area with lots of restaurants and stores nearby, friendly and neighbors.

Very pleased with my decision to move here. Everyone I’ve met in the office has made it easy to get settled in. You won’t find a better value in Craig Ranch, or in McKinney for that matter. The price is right and the amenities are good. They also host events for residents. The manager is friendly and professional, and although problems are rare, she excels at resolving any issues. Maintenance is top-notch and very responsive. All of the staff are just good people in general. The Avenues is the only choice in DFW!

Ive lived here for 2 1/2 years and love it. One of the best apartment complexes Ive lived in McKinney. The people in the office have always been friendly and helpful. Anytime Ive needed anything they have been quick to respond. The only reason I did 4 stars and not 5 is because there are little things the original contractor and his builders didnt do well with construction.

I will say that, since living here for almost 4 years its been nice. It truly is a wonderful community here and everyone is nice. Maintenance does their job 👍🏻But the one thing that was awful was last year, me and my mom love together and had very noisy neighbors who would NOT stop making noise. It took THREE months to finally get them out of here. Why couldnt they just have kicked them out after a FEW complaints and not multiple? Like seriously wth. And then people with loud noise and music in their cars, thats another issue. And cameras. They need cameras around.Lastly, the trash, please I cant even- COME WHEN YOUR SUPPOSED TO. There are days where our trash is left out for a few nights because they dont come for some reason and Im saying when it DOESNT rain or theres no bad weather. They also need to have another trash dump somewhere else in this neighborhood. There is enough room. Please consider it, the trash is left out of the dumpster for days and smells absolutely disgusting. And change it more often too. Thank you.

So it doesnt look like I was hired by the property to write this review , let me start with the bad . To be honest I’m more nitpicking than anything- I had a very pleasant experience here .Cons: The gym needs an updating . Some of the equipment has been broken for over a year. In fairness , most of the gym was and is still functional. They are working to replace the bad.- The carwash vaccuum was usually missing pr being replaced . As I write this it is intact and fully functional.- Regular power washing of the nooks and crannies of each building would also be awesome but like I said earlier , its mostly nitpicking.So now that we’ve got the bad out , lets talk about the good :First let me say that Erin , Sandra , Haley and Nikki are fantastic front office employees and just plain good humans. Theyre not comfrontational , they de-escalate issues instead of making them bigger and are quick to solve resident problems. Theyre quick to say hello , or greet you even when I know they’re not having the best of days. Its refreshing considering that front offices can have a high turnover rate and a condescending , unmotivated staff.Along with a grest front office , the maintenance staff is exemplary. Ive never had an issue with amg problems not being handled promptly and professionally. They work hard and whether you visit or live here itll be the first thing you notice.The complex is clean and for the most part quiet although no apartment living is without some noise or annoying neighbors . Have realistic expectations for apartment living and itll be hard to be disappointed. Its in a great neighborhood close to everything . Trust me on this . Great schools are nearby , plenty of shopping and food. Its safe and most of the residents seem to be cordial.Apartments are modern on the inside with stainless steel appliances and wood style floors . No bugs or pests that im aware of inside.If youre looking for a quiet , smaller complex thats in a great location , youll enjoy it here . The front office staff will make you feel comfortable while handling your requests with professionalism and promptness.Edit: The gym is going to be revamped and updated very soon along with being expanded . Good news for residents and workout buffs!

I have lived at this complex for over 3 years now and I absolutely love it. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and they hold the most amazing get togethers and contests for the residents. I recently won both sides of a two-part contest and cant thank everyone enough for the fun I while dressing up my dog. Ive lived here for 9 months. My building has terrific views off my balcony overlooking the greenbelt and trail. Im surprised at how quiet it is here, never hear dogs barking or loud music . Oh and theres plenty of parking available, some apts do not provide enough parking . Lastly, the pool is very well maintained. Sparkly blue and crystal clear. I recommend this community 👍

Came in for a apartment visit and was instantly greeted by a leasing agent. She offered us refreshments and was very kind, she had our budget and keeping in her best interest she worked with us to see what they had to offer! This will be the community we choose thanks to Angela!! My move-in date was March 3rd, 2025. Since I asked about these apartments, Ive had a great experience. When I first moved in, I was met by an excellent leasing team. I was also greeted with a kind letter and given a cutting board. My apartment was very tidy and well-organized when I arrived. Ive only been here a few days, but I feel quite welcomed and protected. Thank you, Elizabeth and Lisa. I sincerely appreciate you both and the rest of the crew!
