    Went in for a tour to a beautiful apartment. Mrs. Irma Diaz was very kind, welcoming, and helpful, and I felt comfortable asking any question I had.

    Do not fall for the bait and switch okie-doke. These apartment may look nice but once you move in prepare for: greedy lazy management, broken mailboxes, random water shut offs, loud obnoxious neighbors, putrid dog crap odor across the entire property, trash and jagged sharp rocks (that tear up your tires) throughout the parking lot, overstuffed dumpsters, and perhaps worst of all ROACHES in your very expensive apartment. I put in maintenance request, was told pest control would be here weekly every Tuesday, pest control NEVER came and my service request was cancelled without explanation. THERE IS NO REASON ANYONE SHOULD PAY $1600 TO LIVE WITH ROACHES. Id hoped under new management some improvements would be made (especially since our rent was exorbitantly raised) but that has NOT been the case. The overall property is not well kept and the management just want their money. DO NOT MOVE HERE.2025 Update: A lot of gradual improvement has been implemented: steady/consistent leasing office and maintenance staff (Daniel in the office is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate me when my car was wrongfully towed), more dumpsters have been added, a little less trash throughout the property, the noise has exponentially improved, mailboxes are being fixed, havent seen a roach since Summer 24 (and warmer weather is when theyre usually the worst).

    This apartment complex has NEW management! The new owners and management are proactive. They are very interested in making your living experience comfortable. There has been a lot of security changes. New security cameras are being installed. A phone number to contact for security issues is now available. They are enforcing the lease breaches. I am beginning to love living here now. It has been a long time waiting for exceptional management and staff!

    Looking for apartments is extremely stressful, however Carolina makes the process super easy. She demonstrates professionalism in what she does and explains absolutely everything the way other leasing agent apartments should do.     I just recently moved in and I am in love with my new apartment! The pet policy is amazing! We managed to move in the same day too which was crazy, I didnt think people could really do that but now I have peace of mind in my new home!! Bailey helped me out and she has amazing customer service skills! She gave me 5 star service :)

    Had a great experience here. The apartments are nice. Staff member Carolina Perez explained everything in detail. It helps that she knows Spanish too cause my wife is not well versed in English. Thanks for the great service.

    The leasing staff has been awesome here at RARE Apartments. I’ve been living in my place since June 2019 and I was impressed with the renovations, great job. The leasing and support staff will work with you no matter what your situation maybe and I didn’t get that type of treatment with other apartment complexes. We had a few issues with parking however it was quickly addressed and I really appreciate the teams efforts. Thanks for everything!!!

    Love the new changes and management. Office staff is always very friendly and helpful. Robin is always happy to help with any issue we may have and she always gets things done fast and efficiently! Just signed for a second year on our lease excited for the upcoming changes!

    So far so good! Bailey in the office has been extremely helpful with setting everything up. She even directed us to some renters insurance that was affordable and covers a lot. The units are renovated but no complaints this far.

    I love the location and the apartment itself because it is renovated. I love the new management they are doing a great job cleaning up the property and changing the appearance. There is still so more cleaning up to do as far as residents, crime but other than that a great place to live! Robin in the office was and is so very helpful and polite. Thank you rare for my lovely new home.

    Had a great experience with Alexis, she definitely knows her stuff. Viewing and application process was very easy and quick. Within 2-3 days we were signed and in our new place. Some minor issues inside the place but other than that it’s a new place to call ours.

    I will say with the new changes. Im so loving it. From walking in the office feeling a warm comfort. Along with beautiful people greeting you with a smile. New management is doing a hell of a good job. wouldnt trade them for no one else. Robin is a sweet women that helps n understand you. she does her job. SALUTE For Johnny thank you for coming in and helping your residents. Your energy along is a great power of positives. I can see myself staying here even longer.     The management staff at this complex are amazing. Alexis and Claudia have done everything possible to be accomodating and to make me feel at home here. I put in a maintenace request yesterday and the maintenance guy showed up within an hour or two. Excellent service and theres always coffee in the office. Thats a big bonus for me!

    Ive been living here for about 4 months now and i can really say since new management has come in theirs been llos of improvements, Robin was such a big help!! she really pulled through for me and my family when we were moving in.     Rare apartments were a great find! They are close in proximity to upcoming Mueller area. The apartments are currently being renovated and are going to be offering some great amenities like a new gym and swimming pool. Miguel was extremely helpful with the moving in process and answered all my questions. The maintenance team completes repairs in a timely manner and are very friendly. I would recommend these apartments to anyone!

    Not bad at all. Seeing all the bad reviews made it really scary for me to lease here but david olvera assistant manager made it super easy and comfortable. Made me feel really relieved as far as all our concerns . No roach problem at all. Its not a new complex so obviously it wont be perfect but its in livable conditions lol. Have 3 days living here and expected to come into a complete disaster and instead came into a really nice comfortable place for me and my family. Its a little hard to get in contact with them now but it’s manageable. So far so good.

    Bailey Jones assisted us. Even cut her lunch short to show us around. Awesome attitude. Answered all our questions and took care of us within a few hours we were set up and had apartment held for us. She was amazing and glad she could assist us!!!!

    I thought I would never live in another apartment again, however, my experiences with rare acts, specifically Chelsea and Sam have changed my mind. They communicate quickly. They solve problems. I never have had a bad conversation with them. The apartments are well designed and in a low-key part of town, which I enjoy very much.

    Since Ive been here at the RARE apartments its been nothing but blissfulness! It was an easy move from Virginia to Austin, TX with no worries when I got here. Robin and Miguel have been very helpful in my journey and I feel if i need something they got me. Looking forward to my future here and what a great start, i must say so myself. And once again Id like to give a shoutout to Miguel for the great customer service!

    Last weekend I toured with a leasing agent at Rare Apartment I believe her name was Alex. Although the property sold itself because how well it’s put together. Alex was was very persuading, outgoing and had me all in unfortunately my job has made a decision that I’ll be living in Dallas. The reason I made this review was because I called back today and spoke to the manager Claudia, Claudia was very sweet understanding that I wasn’t gonna be able to move forward and she wished me the best of luck. If I ever decide to move to the Austin area I would definitely call Rare Apartments.

    I recently moved in to Rare apartments a my experience has been great! My apartment and the whole complex is great. Bailey has been great since the day I applied to the apartments always available and super helping with everything, she made my move in experience super smooth and always avaliable to answer any questions.

    It been hard trying to find a good afforable apartments.. I toured a total of 6 apartments and all the agents that toured me were rude and careless. I tour Rare 10/28 and had a great experience. Alexia showed me the excat unit we would rent I loved it no just the apartment but the tour all together so of course i gave a deposit. I cant wait to live at the apartments plus two fine respectful women in the office is a bonus thank god!!

    I just recently moved into the rare apartments. The staff here have been friendly throughout the entire process. Bailey gave me a tour of the property aswell as answered any questions i had. My apartment is very spacious!!! The walk in closet is EVERRRRYTHING!!!! And the walk in restroom is to die for!!! I definitely recommend moving here.

    Ive lived here since the previous management company was in charge, and Nexus buying the place has been a huge improvement. Speedier service, generally more professional and user-friendly.However, definitely seems like they want to wipe out the charm of Tierra Bellas family-oriented vibe. Theyre instituting polices like no bikes on porches, enforcing parking and gate rules, requiring car insurance to park in the lot, changing the layout to be black-and-grey-and-edgy instead of warm and inviting.The staff is new since October, and so far the only office person thats truly made me feel like a valued tenant is Robin. Shes an all star. Knows my name, remembers my issues and works consistently to fix them. The rest of the staff is friendly, but doesnt go out of their way to say hello or get to know me.

    I showed up without a place to live and this complex showed nothing but understanding. They managed to get everything set up for me as fast as possible. Alexis actually took over for someone that was supposed to help me and made sure everything was set before I moved in. Great place and can’t wait to live here

    I moved to Rare Apts in October after leaving a rough roommate situation and at first I was suspicious of such a good offer of a 2br/1.5ba for under $1200 here in Austin close to downtown with good ease of highway access. I’ve lived all over the metroplex from Round Rock to S. Congress to Oltorf and I have throughly been impressed with both management and maintenance here at Rare Apts. I want to personally thank both Bailey & Claudia for the excellent service I have received as a guest and resident; and the two guys with beards who came to fix my refrigerator and HVAC within 12 hrs of my work order (sorry don’t know their names). I’ve enjoyed living here and see myself staying, as long as rent doesn’t jump up >10% each lease renewal.Keep up the good work guys!
