I have lived at Preston Townhomes since 2020. This complex is seriously such a wonderful place to live. That is primary because of the front desk staff, Tracy and April. They are so welcoming, forthcoming, and truly have my best interest at heart. I have had April as my property manager since moving here, and she is the only reason I have stayed as long as I have. I am always thankful for the time and effort she puts in to make this place as amazing at it is. She keeps the complex running smoothly, while still being as fair as she can be. Without April, I would have moved out long ago.Aside from April, this complex is ridiculously well maintained, very quiet, serene, and you get a lot for what you pay for. I would (and have) recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for a safe, stable place to live. My maintenance orders are always fulfilled within 24 hours or sooner, I am comfortable with all of the staff, the lawn is always mowed and green, the pool (even in off season) is always free of debris. My apartment itself is in wonderful condition as well. This place definitely feels like home, and is my favorite thing to brag about.

I’ve had a great experience living in this complex, largely thanks to the apartment managers, April and Tracy. They both do an outstanding job maintaining the property—always ensuring that everything stays clean and well-kept. The grounds are tidy, and the atmosphere is consistently peaceful and quiet, making it a wonderful place to call home.Additionally, Fernando deserves a shoutout for his exceptional work in handling any repairs. He’s always prompt and thorough, ensuring that everything is fixed properly and quickly. Its clear that all three of them are dedicated to making this community a great place to live. Highly recommend!

This is my first apartment ever and it has been such a great experience for me, April and Tracey have been such a help in helping me grow and and learn how to manage and live on my own. The area is quiet and the community is very nice. The property is clean and well taken care of and the pool is always ready to hop in, even in the winter!! Very cleana and well kept. All in all a great experience for me as a young adult who is now in his second year lease, i LOVE it here!!

Preston Townhomes is a beautiful community of people. April and Tracey two of the most wonderful ladies that my grandson, wife and I have a lot of respect for. If there is an issue of any kind. It is addressed expeditiously. With the recent new that Miss April is being moved. It is an unwanted, unwelcome and not best for business. This community is thriving, happy with the dynamic duo you have in place. It was Miss April that my wife and I met when searching for a new place to live. Miss Aprils personality, professionalism sold us before even seeing a townhome. She definitely makes a difference.

This a great community. I loveeeApril and Tracy great management team. Fernando is a great lead in maintenance he even knows my pets name and fixes things right away. It wouldnt be the same without April.

April is hands down the best manager that I have ever worked with as an apartment locator. Her attention to detail, professionalism and sweet character makes my life so much easier!!!! Best manager of the year award goes to April!!!!

I lived here for a year, from December 2019 to December 2020. And Ive come back four years later to review it because I still miss this place.The office staff was very friendly and so were the neighbors (at least back then). And despite it being so close to the highway, there were still a lot of greenery, squirrels, and bunnies all over the property. Everything you need is close by, and I liked that there was a good Mexican restaurant right next door in walking distance.I had to move north due to personal reasons, but if I could lift this property a la Jafar from Aladdin and move it to my current city, I would in a heartbeat.

Update. Ive been here @5 years now. I love love love love love my home. This was a new beginning for me and I couldnt have picked a better place to start my next chapter. I feel safe. The atmosphere of the community is peaceful and quiet (which I LOVE!!) All the staff is friendly and responsive. I especially appreciate Ms. April for her understanding and helpfulness during a personal situation. She went above and beyond in assuring I had what I needed. I cannot express how grateful I was for her assistance. I still love it here!!!!

My family and I just moved from 19019 Preston after 2 1/2 years and we have little to no complaints with April or Tracy and, of course Mr. Superman himself Fernando. (ill explain here in a bit).So this community is super small and quiet (just perfect), the grounds are always kept clean and well landscaped. Everyone we have met on property have been nice and it really feels like everyone knows each other. April and Tracy walk the grounds every day with smiling faces and warm greetings and are always prompt to address issues or provide new information about upcoming events. However, we have experienced minor issues in which Superman has responded too very quickly and dealing with townhomes built in 94, issues are expected. Overall, the experience has been great and more than likely would return if we planned to move back up north.

This is edited I have now been here since 2020-2025 Im going to say that this place is not stressful to live at all. April is professional & I respect her job. She does not harrass you or come up with strange charges, she just does what is right. She keeps things fixed around here. Fernando is awsome at keeping this place up & he does alot by himself. The like that the crime rate is very low. Ive never heard of anything but a couple of car break-ns (heard of only 2) just lock your car doors. SOMETIMES GATE GETS OFF TRACT & ITS FIXED WITHIN A DAY OR TWO. Its quiet & close to convenient stores & my also jobs. The apartment s are well kept with landscaping & maintenance. I havent had many problems at all here. Pest control stays on top it consistently even though I havent seen any bugs here except for what comes in when I open my door.

I have lived here for 5 years almost to the exact date, and I can strongly say that this has been my absolute favorite place to live. The courtyard reminds me of a Disney movie, its so scenic and magical. At night there are lots of little rabbits that come out, they are fun to watch!The townhomes themselves are very spacious and affordable, especially compared to others in the area. They are older, but theyre very unique and management has made updates over the years. If there ever is an issue, maintenance has been prompt to address it, no hassle!Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly, and Ive enjoyed every interaction with them, especially Miss April. If I was not moving away from Dallas, I would continue to live here. I have always felt very safe here, its a small community that looks out for each other. I will miss it dearly!!!

[Update]After two years, my experience has been still very nice. I’m moving to different state for job but I would totally keep living here if I’d be in Dallas. The housing & maintenance team has been very supportive during move-out process too. I’ll wait for the deposit to be back afterwards and hopefully a reasonable amount will be back.[Original Comment]I’ve lived here for more than a year. It’s reasonably priced and very spacious. I enjoy having two stories with a big bathtub. Welcoming housing manager and they fix issues in a reasonable time. Never seen any roaches in my unit so they seems doing great for pest control too.

I have lived here since nov 2019, and really love it here. April and Cindy are both VERY responsive and super polite! Anytime I have a maintenance request, its usually done that same day or if not the very next day. The inside of the townhomes here are super cute and cozy, my only complaints are that my type of unit doesnt have a roofed porch, (i think in texas all units should lol), and the parking spaces are super tight. Other than that I really feel at home here! SUPER quiet and friendly neighbors

Lives here going on five years. Very quiet ,safe property. Pet friendly. From the negative reviews I have read I can probably bet those tenants were unhappy because of an issue that they themselves caused. No problem, staff is friendly and if a problem does arise it has always been addressed. Fair rent prices. Im a happy tenant!!!!!

I have lived here for 3.5 years and have not regretted it at all. The apartments are older, but they are getting a facelift (new roofs and paint are done, they are working on the carports now, and supposed to be getting new gutters as well). I mostly have dealt with April in the office, because she is such a delight, but have not had any problems with the office staff, since the management changed a couple years ago. THe maintenance staff is awesome. Everyone knows R.L and he is super friendly and very quick to fix any issues. I am unfortunately having to break my lease next month, due to transferring out of state with my company, but it has been such a pleasurable 3+ years!

My boyfriend and I lived here for 2 years and just moved out this week to be closer to his workplace. We really enjoyed living here! I think a lot of the bad reviews are written because of the old office staff who were, frankly, really unprofessional and not great and their jobs. Basically the whole front office staff has been replaced and it has gotten a lot better! They’ve been fixing the property (got a new fence) and it’s much easier to talk to the front office staff who are really kind and accommodating!The complex is definitely a small community with a one way street with one entrance and one exit and I think that’s awesome. Neighbors have always been friendly. The location is great! You’re near a ton of restaurants right off Preston and right next to Bush and the DNT.The pricing was really good for the square footage (It was close to a dollar per square foot) and I really liked the townhome style!

I have lived here since 2016 and just renewed my lease. This place is small and quite. The office staff has always been helpful when I had a question or needed maintenance in my unit. They are pet friendly as well.

We’ve lived here for over 10 years. Seen some changes good and bad but nothing drastic. Office manager we have now and who was with us years ago in the past came back. Cindy is professional and accommodating and no one could ask for a better office manager representing our townhomes. She is the real deal. Maintenance men are prompt and very courteous and clean in the job they do. We love our townhome it’s such a cute layout and would not be here this long if we were not pleased, that says a lot.

Ive lived here for 10 years and I think that speaks for itself. The ladies and I are always laughing about something, whether its all my packages during the holidays etc. I can make a report of an issue and the maintenance people are at my door normally within minutes. I love it so that I dont even think about purchasing a house anymore.

Ive been living here for about 6 months and the place is homely. Great management under the great leadership of both April and Tracy. These two ladies together with their support staff are very kind and highly professional. I would highly recommend Preston TownHomes to anyone looking for a good place to live especially because of the leadership.
