    Currently live at Union SA and I cant say enough about the apartments and the people who work here. I just re-signed for next year with the leasing agent Abraham. This was the first time I have done something like this on my own, and Abraham made the process so easy. He was seriously so helpful, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions.     I had an excellent experience touring the Union on San Antonio. It is a beautiful property with excellent amenities. Our tour guide Dani was very friendly and the manager Carlton was very helpful with clarifying our doubts regarding the lease and application process.

    Overall, this is a great place to live!Some things should be taken with a grain of salt since we were the first group to move in (Fall 2024). Move in was frustrating, with some people waiting on Guad for over 2 hours, and only two elevators were operational for hundreds of residents. Management needs to do a better job of organizing move in next year. It took 3–4 months for all four elevators to become fully functional, and many things were still under construction when the semester started. Additionally, many residents did not have hot water for the first two weeks, although those issues were eventually resolved. If you submit a maintenance request for building amenities like the bike storage room, expect to wait about a month before it is completed.That said, the amenities are fantastic! I love the study spaces on each floor—most have a view of the tower. If a room is occupied, you can simply walk up the stairs to the next floor. The gym is well-equipped and has everything you need. The cleaning team does an excellent job keeping the spaces clean for the most part. They dont clean on the weekends, so sometimes it is dirty after football games or halloweekend. The Union hosts free events and frequently adds new amenities, like a coffee station in the lobby. The pool and community space on the 7th floor offer stunning views of downtown Austin and are perfect for hosting meetings or hanging out with friends. The Union is also very close to campus and right across from Target! Bethanie is super helpful if you have any questions.I prefer the layout of the 4x2 over the 4x4. In the 4x2, you share a bathroom with one roommate, but it’s massive like you could do yoga in there. Living in a 4x2 also means you get a larger living room, which is about double the size of the living room in a 4x4.Parking is expensive at $175 per month, but I’ve never had trouble finding a spot. In addition to rent, expect to pay about $30 a month for utilities. Water is included which is a huge bonus, but you’ll pay a $5.35 utility setup/admin fee, around $20 for electricity, and less than $5 for gas. For West Campus pricing, Id say the Union is worth it.
