Living here has been an overall positive experience. Generally, the property staff is responsive, helpful, and overall very polite! The property is managed fairly well.Pros:Location - large number of shops, grocery stores and a gym within walking distance of the complexSocial Events - Community events occur twice a month. They are really fun! My favorite event was “Blind Date with a Book”.Staff - Very responsive, quick response from maintenance.HAD POWER DURING BERYL!! This property has lost power a total of 10 minutes over my leasing term. 5 minutes during the bad rain storm in 2024 and 5 minutes during Beryl. Need I say more?Cons:Interior colors of units/Lack of light - My unit has poor lighting. The dark, cool gray colors of the unit wall and floors don’t help the place not feel like a cave haha.Incredibly thin walls - I can’t under score how thin the walls are. I can hear my neighbors having conversations clearly through the walls of my bedroom.Parking Garage - People fly through the parking garage. I think management should seriously consider adding speed bumps.Property Hallways - This is incredibly minor but the hallways…are creepy. Poor lighting with dark paint and dirty carpets. Not cute & at times gross. Would really appreciate a cleaning crew every once in a while.Maintenance of Elevator - Both elevators have gone out for multiple days over the course of my leasing term. Probably due to old age of the machinery.Valet trash - Inconsistent and, in my opinion, more inconvenient than taking your trash to a trash shoot. However, people don’t know how to act and we no longer have access to the trash shoots. :(In closing, this is a solid property that provides decent rent for a decent apartment for the area. Staff is responsive and polite. Can’t go wrong with living here.

I moved here in June and I love it!! The staff is absolutely AMAZING and so friendly; Emily and Noah are like the best…always so welcoming and helpful. Maintenance has been prompt with every request . And I love that they have so many community events for the tenants. It’s like a little family gathering here. I’m so glad I chose Memorial West🥰

Today I’m moving into my second unit at this property and I couldn’t be more pleased to sign on for another year.The staff work very hard, are considerate to my needs and schedule, and are excellent communicators.There are hundreds of tenants here, and Houston can be a tough city to lease in, as well as to manage property. Challenges exist in life, and I’m glad that solutions also exist at Memorial West. I commend Emily, Noah, and Ashley for their constant support and the business they do is always top tier.

The community and office staff are excellent, and I really appreciate that they host two events per month for residents. My only complaint is the trash service. Most communities have a designated trash area for residents to use if they need to take out their own trash before valet service, or just prefer to handle it themselves. It would be very convenient to have at least one dumpster available 24/7.

They host events for residents to get to know each other, and they communicate quickly when there’s an issue within the community. Very. Nice quiet place to live. My only complaint is the person above me walks hard across the floor no matter what time day night etc. I just scream inside my head please sit down or consider the person below. Also, it might help to invest in floor area rugs. Other than that I’m satisfied.

Their professionalism and friendliness made the move-in process seamless. They are always available to address any questions or concerns, which has provided me with a tremendous sense of security and support. They go the extra mile in organizing community events and fostering a sense of community among residents, making this complex feel like a genuine home.Living Experience (5/5): Memorial West Apartments offers an excellent living experience. Love calling Memorial West my home! Office staff is amazing and always answers any questions i have. I love the little events they plan for us residents once in a while. Maintenance of property is well kept up with the property although residents are no help when they don’t respect trash policies but maintenance staff always comes to the rescue. I especially like the lights they have added to the dog run , they are extremely helpful and make property look nice.

I lived here in a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment for a year while working in Houston. I would have stayed longer if I wasnt taking a better job with better pay in another state. The leasing agents, management, and maintenance teams are top notch and really make you feel at home and handle issues in a speedy manner. I never had anything come up that they werent able to handle. Memorable staff from my leasing agent Paige who helped me find the best unit for me, Katerina who was quick to answer questions and very knowledgeable, and Stacey as the Community Director.Thank you for all of your help and making my stay at Memorial West a memorable one!!!-Scott (351)

Ive been living in this apartment complex for several months now, and I have to say that the management team ( Ashley, Quincy & Katelyn) here are fantastic. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns that I have, and they respond promptly to any maintenance requests. The property is well-maintained and always clean, which shows that the management team takes pride in their work. I appreciate their attention to detail and their friendly, professional demeanor. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to call home.

The monthly events the Apartment Life team does are cute and fun. For an apartment complex that isnt too big, the gym is actually a very spacious size and the equipment is nice!

Its a beautiful place. My wife, my little son and I moved here 2 months ago from Ukraine, our town there was completely destroyed by war.We are very happy here, its a beautiful neighborhood and great apartments. The more I visit other neighborhoods the sooner I want to come back to Memorial.Great polite and positive staff always willing to help with anything. And how cool is it when the guys at Quincy & Katelyn put on an event. Its always fun and delicious here.Thank you Memorial West for giving my family a new home here. Best atmosphere for our family.

Honestly, from day one, everything was GREAT. From the leasing process to move in day to moving out, it was so easy and pleasant. The front desk is so nice and when I needed something fixed (which was rarely) they were SO quick. They replaced my dryer in less than an hour! AMAZING. All the amenities are great, clean and convenient. Their events are so fun! If I could, I would rate it 10 stars. Stacey & Katerina are super sweet & helpful. Thank you ladies and the whole team @ Memorial West for a wonderful stay.P.s they have complimentary coffee & dog treats in the leasing office! My fur baby loved it here too for sure.

Absolutely love this complex and the staff!!! It’s the first time I felt community in an apartment complex. If I ever have an issue if it’s not fixed the same day it is handled expeditiously the next day which is amazing. Katerina always is so sweet and welcoming and Stacey has been super sweet and understanding. There are 2 new woman there and they seem to fit right in. I have been a resident for 5+ years and if it remains this way I can definitely see more. I give it 10 ⭐️

Been a resident for over 3 1/2 years! Overall I have enjoyed my stay here. Quincy & Katelyn have done an amazing job bringing together the tenants with their fun and creative events. I love the modern amenities in the apartments. The new additions to management are very nice and try their best to assist with any issues that arise. I love how hidden it is but also how easily assessable it is to I-10 so I can get to where I need to go. Plus I love the coziness of the area.

I am very happy that I chose to live at Memorial West. I have almost no complaints . Any maintenance concerns that I’ve had have been minor and have been addressed immediately. Ryan at the front office was my leasing agent and he was very honest and kind during that experience, he really sold me lol and he made the process very smooth .Now that I live here I am even more convinced of how wonderful he and the other staff members are! They’re always available to help and always pleasant.My favorite thing about MW is that I feel safe and the environment is well kept. My next favorite thing is the location! MW is in a nice community and is right off of i-10. One street over there are lots of stores and restaurants so this is a very convenient place to live and it’s not too loud or too busy. There are also nice/ realistic events hosted by Apt. life team and we have food trucks every Wednesday (consistently) which is a nice treat.In full transparency, I gave 4 stars because they could improve by making the parking garage feel more secure for residents and their cars. People speed in the garage and rev their engines at night, large trucks park on the end parking spaces which makes it hard to see around the corners (perhaps make those reserved spots as well and only allow cars) and I have seen some not so pleasant things happen to cars which puts me on high alert but this IS Houston. I know that Many of these things are out of their control, but more security features would be nice. All in all, I am a huge fan of MW and just recently re-signed my lease!

I’ve lived here for about 2 months. Staff is extremely helpful. Paige was amazing during the leasing process, answering all my questions and concerns. Kat is also really helpful and great at addressing concerns. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Location is great, easy access to I-10 and close to shopping. It’s also cool that we have monthly resident events and from the one I’ve been to, everyone was really nice and welcoming.

I moved into Memorial West during the peak of the COVID Shelter-In-Place order. Ryan in the front office gave me a tour back in March and was incredibly knowledgeable about the property. After I decided on Memorial West he handled my application. Thanks to him and Christina the manager, the move-in process was very straightforward despite the challenging times. They both get 5/5 stars in my book.Since moving in Ive been happy with most aspects of the complex. The apartment is nice and facilities have been available as much as can be expected during a pandemic.I also had a maintenance request due to a malfunctioning fire alarm. Management responded quickly to the request, and the maintenance guy was very friendly and professional. He had the smoke detector replaced in short time so 5/5 for the maintenance team as well.My only main complaint would be cleanliness in the hallways, as some residents have left trash or spilled liquids in various areas. Finding parking near my floor can also be difficult, but Ive always been able to find a spot somewhere.Overall 4/5 stars for the complex, happy with my decision so far.

The staff is extremely friends and helpful, and the area is well kept.Only issues Ive seen is some break-ins, exterior doors not closing/locking, and outdoor grills not working.Despite these things, I would still highly recommend this place, ESPECIALLy because of the engagement with Quincy and Katelyn from apartment life.

I have lived at Memorial West for about 2 months now and so far I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff and community are welcoming, kind, and helpful. Maintenance, valet, and other groundskeepers are recognized and appreciated too. The amenities are always a plus, and our Apartment life team is always hosting fun events and organizing food truck nights for the residents. Over all I recommend living at memorial west, it is affordable, located in a great area near parks, good restaurants, grocery stores, etc. I am happy to call this my home!

I am finishing up my lease here as I’ve been here for 2 years and enjoyed living here. The leasing office, especially Paige and Kate are extremely helpful. During the pandemic I lost my job and it became a struggle for me to pay rent on time. And I have never been late in rent and these two ladies were very understanding and worked well with me as much as they could. Kate I would like to say thank you for all your help and I really appreciate you! And Paige you are such a sweet girl answered all of my questions and was very helpful as well. The only down fall is that it can be very loud and mainly on my floor it smells like dog litter. There were a few break ins that I have seen which had me cautious about my vehicle. Because the complex is closed in, if tenants are having parties everyone can hear it and it can be annoying. I’m not going to say I’ll miss living here but I will miss Kate and Paige just because of the experience I’ve had with them.

Excellent place to stay. Very modern living. Its quiet on the 5th floor, and everyone seems to be friendly when you do come across them throughout your day. Plenty of parking and awesome amenities. There is a trash service and maid service. That is definitely a plus. The units themselves are quite insulated, actually. I rarely hear any loud or obnoxious noises from my neighbors. As long as you respect your neighbors and pay attention to the time of night, everything is gravy. Highly recommended. Location is great. Interstate 10 is less than a mile away, and Memorial Dr goes straight into the galleria through Memorial City. The management seems to be diligently working on repairs and cleanliness of the property. Everything from deep-cleaning the entire parking garage, to maintenance repairs upon request.

My wife and I have been living at MW for about a year and a half. We have no complaints so far. The staff and management are very responsive and quick to respond to service requests of any kind. A great place to live at with a nice gym, pool, and an amazing Amazon hub locker (makes life easier) Also, there is food truck Wednesdays which we love. Lastly, one thing that we love, is that the MW has a parking garage with elevators! Makes life so easier.**Honest feedback**I would say that they can improve in some areas such as:- security throughout the night to prevent theft of any kind in the parking garage and bike room. My bike was stolen from there.- sanitize common areas more- Replace or fix some of the equipment at the gym. Some machines are missing the pin and dumbbells are missing as well.Other than that, MW is a nice place to live at.

Like many other renters Im very picky about certain things one of them being security and maintenance response. Both here are great!! fast at getting things fixed and done correctly. security is great as well, doors arent constantly broken or gates no functioning. It wasnt working one morning and by the time i got back home from work it was already fixed!

I moved in as one of the first residents and have extended my lease. The energy corridor is a very quiet and nice place to live. Close enough to downtown but gives you the quiet wooded suburb feel. The complex is smaller than most making it very nice. The complex is also very secure with gated garage and secure entrances. If you are looking for a high end and secure apartment on the west side look no further.

Before coming to this property I did what everyone does before they look at an apartment. I looked at the reviews and was a little nervous about the tires being tolen and I also read that the manager Christina is not a very nice person. I tour at memorial west last week on friday and was very impressed with the way Ryan helped me find my new apartment. What made me REALLY want to move in was the fact that Christina personal brought me into her office once I had mentioned to Ryan my concerns about the reviews and made me feel so much more comfortable to live there that i decided to sign my lease right then and there. I move in a few weeks and I will post another review with how they treat me once I have moved in.

I personally believe this place overall, is a great stay for a young business professional, the amenities are amazing, and in my opinion the staff is upfront, honest, and attentive. The noise level does seem to increase around the weekends, only because there is a pretty awesome courtyard and pool area, so who wouldnt want to sit outside to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Overall, I am satisfied with what I pay, and staying on the first floor, with direct access to the courtyard is pretty awesome as well. The hallways are always a plus especially on rainy days. Living in any apartment comes with pros and cons, overall in my opinion, AURA is great stay, and whatever issues I do have the always seem to solve them.

It ha been pretty awesome living in this complex! the staff are very attentive and the front desk consultants are very prompt! Alethia and Ashley have been probably the best. Only criticism i can address is the vehicles that DRIVE fast in the parking garage! and the hallways can be kept up more at least in my third floor with the paint, but this is pretty good place to live.

The maintenance here is pretty darn good. I had an issue at 10pm with my AC and someone was here to fix it within 15 minutes. The staff here has always been friendly and willing to listen. As a father I feel okay to walk around here with my son at night. I renewed my lease here and I believe that this is a well maintained community.

We leased when ZRS (old management) was here. We almost cancelled our application because of how horrible and rude they were after we applied. But we are so glad we decided to still move in. We loved our actual apartment. Ryan the leasing guy with Hilltop (new management) was easy to work with during our move in. He was understanding and apologetic for the experience we had with previous management even through he knew it wasnt his fault. They also have GREAT maintenance. Dube is so friendly and our maintenance issue was addressed very quickly. Lets just say Dube saved the day. Josh is the maintenance manager and he is extremely friendly. I was very concerned about some of issue see saw on property like the tire theft incident, the dog poop on property, the carpet in the hallways but instead of writing a negative reviews I went to the manager, Christina, to voice my concerns (maybe some of the recent negative reviews should have tried that instead of running to google just saying) One thing you dont find is someone that actually listens. She addressed all my concerns and really seemed like she cared and is wanting to make a differnence. So what I learn from my conversation with her was yes we DO have cameras in the garage. Management has been working with the police and has provided footage from the tire theft incident. She told me that they were scheduling hallways carpet cleans and mine floor was done yesterday..it looks great. The dog poop around property is being picked up by a company they hired..who knew they had that. We wouldnt have this problem if residents would pick up after their pets if they leave a mess! Easy as that. If you are looking for an AMAZING apartment look no further! You will have a management that is willing to help with any issues if you ask. We could not be happier here.

I’m gonna change some aspects of my previous review, I still think this is a place with a lot of potential to grow and unfortunately the previous management did some many wrong things that made a mess of this place and now the new management is trying to pick up their errors.The staff is super friendly now, specially Katherine ( I hope I’m saying it right) she is amazing and the guy with her every weekend is amazing too! They have been trying to improve all the previous conditions left by the old management and they have been doing it great! I still think there is room for more improvement, specially with security and to have an actual courtesy police to handle situations after office hours, specially regarding security and to help educating some people here that doesn’t know how to live in a community,I hope the best for them and I hope they can make this building the greatest in the area!

Ive been a resident at Memorial West for a year and a half, and I have nothing but positive things to say! Anytime Ive had a maintenance issue, even during the pandemic and the initial shutdown, theyve been quick to respond! I absolutely love the area (being pretty equidistant to both Houston and Katy). And It just feels safer being a bit off the beaten path yet close enough to everything you could possibly need or want (shopping, restaurants, parks, etc). Im happy to call Memorial West home!

I love living here!!! I moved in January of this year and I havent had any problems. I live in the 5th floor and it is very quiet. Staff is amazingly sweet and has helped me with anything that I needed. My boyfriend sent me flowers from overseas and I got a call personally from the staff. I am a veteran so I have lived in lots of apartments around the country and by far this is one of the best places I have lived in!

I moved in 2 years ago. The staff is always eager to assist the residents. Maintenance repairs are done in a timely manner. The property is well maintained and it’s also a fun place to live. Lots of resident events to connect with your neighbors.

All of the folks that I work with in the office Jamie, Destin, Celina, and Laura have been great! They are on top of any request you bring to them and provide wonderful customer service. I lived on the 4th floor and the complex was quiet and clean. The pricing for the units with them being this new are certainly less expensive then anything else you will find in the area as well.I would recommend Aura to anyone else looking for an apartment that is in a great location, great looking inside, and a great staff.Thanks Aura team!

Very quiet place nice location. Beautiful nice employees!! Christina very professional manger. I see a lot reviews about cockroaches well I don’t think this is the apt management problem you could easy get rid of it. I can easy help you to get rid off cockroaches for ever.

I have lived at memorial west for 4 months and I have had such wonderful experiences with the whole team. Katerina is a joy to be around and is so helpful. Ryan and the rest of the team are quick to answer any questions I have. Dube always handles my maintenance requests. She leaves little goodie bags with chocolate and popcorn and I love it! Really shows how much thought they put into their job.

Great apartment!! Excellent location! Spacious and the amenities are amazing!! My only issue is I guess my neighbors are newly weds which is cool except late at night when the noises start. Its like 3 of us in the room but only 2 of us are having fun. Ive left them a friendly letter to chill out on the ooh ahh noises a little bit as other people do live here and things have gotten a little better. Until they get quiet I guess I will pull out the popcorn, dr pepper, and the cigarette for after ;-) lol

I’ve had a great experience this past year at Aura. Jamie and Destin were always friendly, responsive to any needs, and professional. The Maintenace staff was always quick with foxes which were generally minor as my unit was in great shape. The common areas are beautiful. They have frequent events and you can’t beat the location. The only issues I experienced were things out of their control (road construction related), but they were on top of communications to all the residents via email.

The Aura Memorial complex is located in a very convenient part of Houston. In addition to being conveniently located, the staff is very responsive to resident concerns. I really enjoy the amenities; particularly, the business center, gym, and courtyard grill are all very nice. The leasing agents, Jamie and Destin, are very responsive to any request. They go above and beyond in assisting; I recommend reaching out to them if you are considering leasing at Aura Memorial.
