    I recently moved into this apartment complex and have been very impressed so far. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and local restaurants. The grounds are well-maintained, and the building itself feels modern and clean. My unit is spacious, with plenty of natural light and updated appliances that make living here comfortable and convenient.The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. Any maintenance requests I’ve submitted have been addressed within 24 hours, which is a huge plus. The neighbors are quiet and respectful, making it a peaceful place to live. Amenities like the fitness center, pool, and community lounge are well-kept and add great value to the experience.Parking is ample, and the complex feels secure with controlled access and regular patrols. While the rent is slightly higher than some nearby options, the quality of life here justifies the cost. My only minor complaint is that the walls can be a bit thin, but it hasn’t been a major issue.Overall, I’m very happy with my decision to live here. It’s a great place for professionals, families, or anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed community. Highly recommend!

    Reading through these reviews, it sounded like Aleah was a legend. Now we understand why, having moved in from out of state! She made the process so easy. When we moved in, we loved the cleanliness of the apartment, the quiet space, the amenities (nice pool, fitness center, working parcel system, working locks) and the location- the walks in the park are hard to beat. A few weeks in, highly recommend.Add: we had a problem with our freezer while away from our apartment and within ten minutes of me submitting a work order Mike was at my door, in another ten min he returned with a new fridge.You’ll have to drag me out of this place. I was expecting a big headache, and it just wasn’t.

    Moved from Europe with a cat in 12/24. Place was extremely clean from the time I stepped in, community doors close and lock well, maintenance requests are answered and Aleah really helped through everything. Definitely recommend.

    I love my place. It’s is so nice and located right in the middle of everything. The apartment fits our needs perfectly including having plenty of storage space. We dont hear noise from other apartments, and the complex is well-maintained. It is in the perfect location for us, since we can walk to several museums, restaurants, and park areas within 10 minutes. I can get to work in 10-15 minutes without getting on the highway. Easy access to Hermann Park and the metro rail..The manager, Erin, and well, everyone from office to maintenance are very nice and helpful. So far so great. Oh, i also love the pool & my neighbors are very nice.

    Between the perfect location (Across from Hermann Park), the outstanding office staff that go above and beyond with their customer service, and the exceptional maintenance team (anytime I have needed their services, they have promptly taken care of it within an hour or 2), this has been the best place I have ever lived. Super quiet and the staff maintains the grounds very well. It is always kept very clean. I just wanted to give some praise to the Plaza for making my living experience awesome. They are a class act!     This is my favorite place I have ever lived! The apartment staff are kind, responsive, and competent. They respond quickly to emails, are always available during working hours, give advanced notice of staff holidays and community events, and seem to really care about me as a resident. The maintenance team always resolves my request within 24 hours. The apartment layout and amenities are also exactly what I needed, and the location cant be beat. It is right across the street from Hermann Park, including the zoo, gardens, an outdoor theatre, and trails. It is also close to many museums - most of which have free days each week - and great restaurants. Finally, it is close to several buses and a train, which are often more convenient than driving. I feel very safe in this area. It seems like there are people in all stages of life living here, which I appreciate. I lived here for two years and hope to find myself back here again someday.

    I am grateful that we found this apartment for my daughter during her internship stay here this summer. Aleah, the leasing consultant, helped us process and make it possible for my daughter to move in immediately, and I am thankful for her. Shes fantastic and very understanding. She assists us in applying online, even though my husband and I are not very familiar with this technology. She showed us around the entire building, showed us the parking garage, mailbox, swimming pool, and gym. Aleah was very helpful in ensuring that my daughter received her package. The apartment my daughter stayed in was a one-bedroom that was well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located in front of Hermanns Park and near all the museums.

    I cant say enough wonderful things about this property! Everyone on staff is so kind, accommodating and quick to help. I was pregnant when I moved in and they went above and beyond to make sure I had help with packages or furniture delivery. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and with care. The apartment was spacious, pool is convenient and the location is perfect- restaurants, museums, Hermann Park, zoo, Miller Theater... You never have to leave the neighborhood in your downtime. Had I not moved out of Houston, I would still be there and would 100% move back if I return.

    My family and I have lived here for almost a year and in that time we have loved Plaza Museum Apartments. If you want to move into the Hermann Park/Museum district area- this is the best place to be! The Leasing Consultant, Aleah is welcoming and friendly. She is always available for our needs. Mike, Property Manager, always has a smile and a kind word. You can tell how much the staff care about the property and the residents. I’ve met several individuals here who have resided here for years and I can see why.The property is kept up well, and we’ve probably have the best handyman response of any apt complex I’ve ever lived in. We have same response for non-emergency repairs- sometimes within just an hr or two.The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Neighbors are respectful of each other and it’s quiet and relaxing. I wish we’d moved in sooner!I also have to add that my mom was going through cancer treatments and the staff here were always helpful in making sure she connected with her Uber rides, got back in to the apt okay, etc.We recommend this place to everyone we know!

    I really enjoyed my time at Plaza Museum District. I got a street-facing 1 BR apartment that had a really beautiful view and lots of sunlight. The apartment was extremely clean and well-maintained. The maintenance staff was very prompt and responsive. Leslie and the management team were always very courteous and made me feel at home. They also organized many social events which were great to be part of.The best part was that the apartment was in a great location, close to museums, miller theater, restaurants, and public transportation. I used to go to miler to watch their spectacular shows almost every weekend. They are completely FREE.I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Houston. Plaza Museum District is a great place to stay for anyone who wants to live in a lovely complex and enjoy the city life.

    I am so happy here at the Plaza Museum District Apartments. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We have had problems with the city and replacing our transformers. The staff was so responsive and helpful during that difficult time.I especially love the attention that all of the staff give to the residents whether we are new or long term residents. I especially appreciate Lesly for the hard work she does to help keep my packages taken care of when they come in or go out.

    I’ve just moved out of the complex. It’s been nice living there for the past year, I felt very safe and the gates kept sketchy people from coming inside. The leasing office staff had all been super friendly and approachable. It’s easy to use the online form to turn in maintenance requests or just pop in the office and let one of the staff know. They’ve all taken an effort to know who I am, which made me also felt very welcomed and that I really do matter in their eyes. The maintenance crew was also quick to respond and usually could resolve any issue within a couple of days. I enjoyed the valet trash service. The complex use Parcel Pending lockers, so my online shipments are kept timely and safe. The hallways are well lit always. I paid extra for a parking space, which is totally worth it. I’ve also bought a wagon like most people living there, to make transporting groceries from parking garage to apartment easy peasy.

    Beautiful apartments right next to Herman park. Aleah and Lesley are so helpful and the maintenance man is always quick to fix any issues!They did close the pool for a month for repairs in April 2024. However, I updated this review to reflect that and they opened it again the next day, which was very much appreciated.

    I stopped by the office for some information and had a nice tour with the agent. She was very friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. I didnt feel rushed at all and the community was beautiful, especially the planters on the bridge.

    Just moved in and my husband and I are loving it so far! Beautiful apartment, perfect location, and the best leasing and maintenance staff ever! We had >15 oversized boxes with our furniture arrive early while we were stuck at work, and Mike from maintenance carried everything over from the mailroom to inside our apartment to secure it! Could not ask for a lovelier staff.

    I have had a great experience living here this past year.The property is well maintained, has spacious units, and is perfectly located. Where it really sets itself apart though is the quality management team. In each of my interactions with them, they have been responsive and eager to assist. I have lived in several places over the years, and this team stands out.The maintenance crew is unparalleled in its response time (usually a couple of hours) and they do great work.The proximity to Hermann Park is a huge perk.Would highly recommend.

    Amazing place to live and call home! Quiet and peaceful suitable for relaxing always if desired and close to all the action if you want to get out.Amazing staff and very quick service. Pool and Hot tub are amazing to relax in on a sunny day or a cool evening.Loved it here the last two years and planning to be here for a while!Update: I have been here four years now and just signed another lease as I have enjoyed it so much here. Shoutout to Mike in maintenance for keeping my apartment in perfect working order and to Kenneth keeping the property in great shape with his friendly office staff. Everyone here is truly welcoming and cares about making the living experience enjoyable. I plan on staying here until I buy another house. It’s truly been a great time living here!

    My experience with moving into The Plaza Museum District has been a positive one. The leasing staff has been incredibly helpful! They answered all of my questions and helped me with all of the needed documentation for my application and the approval process. I appreciate their hard work, and I can see that they care about their tenants. Maintenance has also been great. I had trouble with the garbage disposal in my unit, and they came and assessed it and were able to install a new one very quickly. I also love the location of the apartment so close to Hermann Park. So far, the experience has been a good one!

    My husband and I moved in on the 1st from STL and so far we have really enjoyed our living experience here. The office and maintenance staff are nice and responsive. Parking is easy. We are directly across the street from the park, there are plenty of activities and restaurants around, and the residents we have met so far have been nice as well. The plaza also hosts Food Truck Fridays which is a fun perk. And of course you cant beat being able to spend a hot day in the pool.

    I just moved out of my 1br Apartment after being at the Plaza Museum District for 4 years. I loved all of them, save the last year living there. The upstairs tenants carpet was removed, and hardwood floors installed. The noise was absolutely unbearable. My guests would even make comments. It drove me crazy. I dont think they were exceptionally loud, just the hardwood floors made a huge difference.Everything else was good, the staff, the maintenance crew, the location, cant beat it, but, If youre sensitive to noise be sure to ask if the tenant above has carpet or hardwood floors, or live on the 4th floor!

    This is a wonderful property. The office staff is so friendly and helpful and I cant say enough about the maintenance crew! My AC went out on a Sunday and Mike was at my apartment in 30 minutes. He had to order a new unit for us, so he hooked up a portable AC for temporary relief. Tuesday morning I had a new air conditioning unit!!

The location is hard to beat, our unit is spacious for a 1BR, front office staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and best of all - the maintenance team is incredible. Ive been shocked at times by how quickly they respond to both emergency and routine maintenance requests. Mike and Pedro are awesome - special thanks to them!

    We have been living at the Plaza Museum District for a while and we love it here. The location is very convenient and central for commuting. You cross the street and you’re in Hermann park. The neighborhood is growing with many restaurants as well within walking distance. The management team is always helpful and responsive whenever you need them. The maintenance staff, Pedro and Mike, are very efficient, patient and accommodating.

    Everything here has been mostly positive! Maintenance requests have all been completed within 24 hours. The neighborhood is lovely, and Hermann Park is right across the street. None of our neighbors have been noisy. Weve had absolutely no cockroaches or bugs and weve been here for over 3 months, which is a great improvement from the last apartment I was at. The package system is also great and lets you retrieve your packages at any time. During the summer, the pool was great to swim in.One downside is that our apartment wasnt cleaned properly before we moved in. Our fridge smelled awful, but after bleaching and disinfecting the inside, it was fine. After a week of moving in, we vacuumed the carpet to find that there was an obscene amount (1/2 a vacuum canister) of tan and white dog hair our vacuum picked up that wasnt visible to the eye. However, management said our carpet was only a year old and the previous tenant did not have a dog, so we are puzzled as to where this dog hair came from. Additionally, the weight room has a weird smell to it when you first walk in, but the complex itself is a little more dated than my previous apartment so I cant complain too much.Overall, its been a great stay and we are really happy having made the decision to move here. Besides some slight hiccups at first, everything going forward has been wonderful.

    This is the best complex I’ve ever lived at! Management is always so friendly and maintenance responds within 24 hours. When my a/c went out they set up a portable unit so I stayed cool and they got everything fixed so fast! Mike and Pedro have helped me several times and they are always so nice and explain everything in detail. Such a nice place with great amenities

    Our A/C unit was leaking coolant and is summer time so I submitted a maintenance request and in no time at all it was replaced.     I lived here for a little over two and a half years and absolutely loved my experience here. It was a great location. Just a few blocks from the metro rail, just steps from the museums, and right across the street from Hermann Park. Seriously the best location. The office staff is always friendly and the maintenance staff are so great! Theres always going to be crime in a big city, but they work really hard to take care of their residents. I loved my experience here and highly recommend living here.

    This place alone is unbeatable due to the location. Close to the museums, Hermann Park, downtown, and the Med Center. Also, the staff is incredible!     PositivesAnthony is very knowledgeable about the property. The tour he gave us was very thorough and was able to answer all questions we had. He himself is personable and easy to approach no matter the question or concern. He definitely did a great job leaving a positive first impression of what the property has to offer.The unit he showed us was nice and clean. I love all the built in shelving and layouts for the 2bed 2baths. As we were walking around the complex people seemed friendly and warm. After looking at a few other properties we came back to apply.NegativesThe property does seem to be a tad bit dated but well kept overall.We are excited. Im sure we will have complaints (like most that live somewhere after a while) but we are pretty confident that we will love our new home.

    Ive lived in many apartments over the years, and this one has by far the best maintenance crew, especially Mike & Luis. Work orders are almost always completed within 24 hours unless they need to order a part. The office staff is friendly and helpful. And the location cant be beat - right across the street from Hermann Park & walkable to restaurants and Houstons museums & zoo.

You can tell a lot about how your experience will be living at a property by the treatment you get from the leasing office. Ashley’s professionalism, honesty, and follow through during my inquiry about available units and the community sold me on the Plaza Museum District. She answered all my questions and never made me feel as if she were short on time or that my questions were a bother (as I felt was the case by the lackluster level of care given by other property managers in the area I had called). I have been living at the Plaza Museum District since 2014 and have seen the community get updated over the past few years under Allisons management. I have continued to have an excellent experience as this community, and have only experienced improvements over the years!My highlights of living here include:- Excellent proximity to a beautiful, quiet and established community. Just removed from the middle of all the HTX action, but within a 5-10 min drive to anything you need!- Community is comprised of young professionals. No wild parties or trashed facilities here from other tenants.- Beautiful landscaping and groundskeeping adds to nice apartment views and a tranquil environment. Truly a gem, this property is a peaceful oasis to return to at the end of the day.- Wonderful included apartment perks: trash valet, carpet cleaning upon annual lease renewal, preventative pest control that absolutely works- Maintenance requests are always resolved within 24 hours in my experience- Parcel Pending package retrieval service allows you to pickup packages 24 hours in a secure locker facility. No need to rely on a person to release your packages or be worried about stolen boxes left at your door.- This property is all class. The dissatisfied reviews from other users/tenants must not have much experience living in metropolitan apartments. Management listens to the residents inputs and works to put our feedback into action, including increased security and towing to ensure community spaces are exclusive to residents.Original Review:Great property and location. The Museum District area is beautiful and the Plaza has the best apartment complex location of competing units for the area, seating across the street from Hermann Park. I have been living in the complex for a year and have had a great experience working with the staff; even when new people have joined the leasing office, the quality of staff has remained consistent. Apartment units are extremely quiet and I was pleasantly surprised to see the residents mainly consists of young professionals, considering the close vicinity to Rice. Any residents I have interacted with have been very nice as well. The only recommendation I wish the complex did (which is kind of petty, because it really is that good) is if the office space included a printer and if they offered dry cleaning services. Some of the other Houston apartment complexes can collect your dry cleaning, have it sent off and return it to your unit. Since I travel for work, this would be a great addition.

    I really enjoyed this beautiful property, great location. I came on the property to learn more about the company, which I was introduced by a wonderful woman name Leslie Aielo, hope I have her last name correct. She told me she is new to the company. After my tour of the beautiful Berkshire this young lady had me fooled, she is a professional at what she does! She was very detailed in every aspect.     This place is awesome to live! The office personal will go out of their way to help you and make sure youre happy. The location is a big plus as you are 30 minutes from every part of Houston and Hermman Park is across the street. They are also slowly upgrading units to make them nicer.The only drawback would be that the walls are a little thin and you can hear the showers, toilets, footsteps, and occasionally voices or music. But this does happen with a lot of apartments.Overall this place is a good place to live and I would recommend.

    I have been at the Plaza for 11 months and have loved my time here. Admins Allison, Ashley Sanchez, Samantha, & the entire maintenance team have all been a pleasure and very responsive. The only problem I have had of any kind was my A/C unit went out one time late in the evening, but maintenance had it fixed within a couple hours. Couldnt have asked for it to be handled any better. I have never had any safety or sound issues. Highly recommend this complex.

    Ive lived in several apartment complexes over the years but the staff here are by far the most friendly and helpful. My move-in was quick, easy, and convenient. Great location close to my job at the medical center and so far I have felt totally safe in this community.

    Maintenance & management are top-notch. Very little goes wrong, but if it does; Mike, Luis, & Pedro respond with the know how and professionalism to take it seriously and solve it immediately. I have never waited for a response or a repair. Very happy with several years on the property.

    I cannot say enough about The Plaza at the Museum District. Not only do I love my spacious and quiet apartment (literally across from Hermann Park) but the service is EXCEPTIONAL! I had a couch delivered today (the delivery people left it downstairs 😤) and my partner was running late. Leslie in the office and Mike and Luis in maintenance dropped everything they were doing to grab a dolly and lug my sectional to the third floor….all the way into my place. The three were kind enough to even offer me breakfast while getting situated 😭Being new to a city can be hard if you don’t know many people, but these three made me feel so taken care of today. This truly is a place to call home and I am so happy here. THANK YOU Leslie, Mike, and Luis!!! Ps: I am so sorry the dolly fell on your foot, Mike. If there is a next time, I promise I won’t “help” 😵‍💫

    I absolutely LOVE Mike our maintenance man! We unfortunately miss placed our keys and we’re locked out during this winter cold night and saved our dog from missing us even more. Have enjoyed living here for over 1 1/2 years because of this special man here. Give him a raise! And a hug.

    I really enjoy this apartment community! The other tenants are nice and courteous. I can never say enough great things about the front office staff Mr Ken, Leslie, and Aleah... they are Awesome!!!! The maintenance staff does a great job with the up keep of the facilities.     I work at the medical center and this complex is very near and in a very good location close to Hermann Park. The people at the leasing office are very friendly and helpful, including the maintenance staff. Good amenities. It takes them a short time to answer if you have a problem and fix it efficiently. You have valet thrash, no recycling, but we have a neighbor that for a fee picks it up. The only thing is that the walls are thin (I guess like most apta in the area) so in one of our rooms you can listen if someone flushes the toilette for example, you can hear the air-con machines outside, but overall we dont hear many noises from our neighbors and the neighborhood is calm. Most of the apts have carpet floor (maybe because of the same thing regarding noise), pet friendly and parking spaces are first come first serve so it may be painful sometimes if you have to park too far away. Price I think is good for the area compare to others. I overall recommend it.

    Mike, the maintenance guy, is the absolute best. The whole team is in fact phenomenal. Front desk employees, including Ken, are great too. Really like this place, ask about renovated units though as some of them are showing their age.

    Lived here for 3 years, sad to leave but need to move elsewhere for work. Maintenance staff is EXTREMELY helpful and very fast to resolve the problem. Leasing staff has always been very courteous and nice to residents. It is accessible to the rail and the park. Plus they just added some restaurants in the area. Relatively safe during day and night time hours--always well lit because of the museums and hospitals near by). You can get to main areas of town within 15-20 minutes (considering traffic).Honest Downsides: Walls can be a little bit thin (meaning you can hear SOME sound from next door neighbors, but it is not overwhelming). If your apartment is near the Childrens Museum, sometimes you can hear their music from their speakers (particularly during the holiday season). Traffic gets a bit congested at times because of tourists/ childrens museum/ rail.Residents are typically young prefessionals-families, so it is a generally quiet apartment complex. I would definitely recommend living here!

    Friday I toured the community with Ashley Sanchez, she was very knowledgeable about the area and where all the best go to places are in walking distance. I love that the property is super simple yet impressive! Being in front of The zoo and all the museums is going to be amazing for my daughter and I!

    Ive lived here for 1.5 years. Most importantly, the staff is excellent: they look after each member of the community like family. Additionally, the location is ideal. I love living next to Hermann Park and Centennial Gardents; my morning commutes to 4 hospitals is easy with the Red Line 5 mins away by walking and Almeda 2 mins away by car; and theres a nice pool. Its fun to see the dogs running around the complex as well.

    I love these apartments and this community feels more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. Maintenance has always been on top of any of my needs. I especially want to give a shot out to Allison and the front office who have always been friendly and courteous when Ive had issues or questions.

    I moved in 1 week ago. Everyone has been very helpful. They promptly respond to emails and requests. They facilitated the cable set up when I was at work. When I receive heavy packages they offer to deliver them to my apartment. They have even set up a Superbowl Party for the residents. Best place that I have lived so far...Also, the location is perfect. Hermann Park is like a mini Central Park and is right across the street. Rice University is a 25 minute walk. I dont even drive to work now. I walk! Lovely place.

    Moved here with my girlfriend 4 months ago and we really like it here, close to the park, work and all the museums! The complex is very quiet and relatively small which I enjoy. People are nice and friendly. Doesnt hurt that its a short and cheap Uber ride so I can responsibly have fun and dont have to worry about having a DD or an expensive Uber.

    I have to say this is one of the best tours I have taken at Berkshire Plaza Museum in Houston Texas. My tour guide, Miss Leslie was so professional and thorough, she was very detailed. After January, I have decided to find my next home Berkshire! Thank you Miss Leslie for the great tour last week! I definitely give Berkshire a 10 score! Beautiful complex!

    Wow is all I can say. This place is amazing and conveniently located near everything. Plus the front desk customer service was warm and very welcoming. The tour by Aleah really seal the deal. She walked me through the entire application and approval process, and answered all of my many follow up questions via phone and email. The response time was exceptional.
