    I have lived here since way before current management took over when it was still called Westgate. I originally lived in another unit for 8 years and it was rough real rough before the current managers Amanda and Sandy as well as their maintenance crew took over. Since they took control everything has been awesome around the complex. They take great care of the complex and apartments. After 8 years my wife and I moved out of state for about a year and a half but decided to come back and there was only one place we considered and that was Parks on the Green. We could have lived at any place in Temple but because of Amanda, Sandy and the exceptional maintenance team we chose to come back here. It has been over 3 years since I moved back in and I love this team. They constantly strive to make this a premier place to live and are always on top of their game. I havent had any issues with them at all and as far as the apartment I feel completely at ease living here. They are like family and truly care about their tenants I recently lost my wife of 22 years and they take the time to check on me just to make sure I am alright. I can only speak to my experience but would highly recommend anyone looking for a nice apartment despite it being an older complex I would say Parks on the Green is the place for you I know it is for me and I intend on being here for many years to come! Thank you Amanda, Sandy, and the whole Parks team for being so great and making me feel home!!! William B.

    Parks On The Green is a wonderful, affordable option for apartments here in Temple.The manager, Amanda, is a delight and all of the maintenance staff are friendly and responsive. The weekend office staff is wonderful.My only complaint with the staff is the weekday leasing consultant/office assistant. Ill just say that I recommend that you request to deal directly with Amanda. If you must deal with Sandy, please be sure to follow up with email confirmation of any information received.When I moved to Temple in 2019, my credit was challenged. Amanda took the time to interview me and took a chance on renting to me. I lived here for two years and then relocated to another part of the state for a year. When I decided to come back, Amanda immediately put me on the waiting list for another unit.The apartments are older than a lot of complexes here in Temple, but they are maintained well, and the grounds are beautiful with mature trees. Rent increases are reasonable and communicated well in advance of lease renewals. Maintenance problems are handled quickly.I have referred three other families to this complex and they’ve all chosen to rent here.

    I have been living at Parks On The Green since 2018. Ive had no problems whatsoever. The office staff is great. Ms. Amanda, Ms. Sandi, and Ms. Penny all have hearts of Gold. If I have any questions or issues, they are addressedimmediately. Maintenance staff is excellent, whenever I need anything taken care of as far as my apartment, theyre on it. I have nothing negative to say about the complex, from the first day I pulled in and signed my lease, I have been extremely happy. I give 5 stars no questions asked.

    This was my sons first apartment.The management is so friendly.The property is clean, well managed and taken care of.Its a very friendly and quiet apartment complex. No disturbances in the complex or neighborhood. The neighbors were always quiet and respectful.The covered parking is a great add on right next to the apartment.For the price of an apartment you get a very large apartment the best in the area for sure for the price.The surrounding area is also very nice and quiet. Is a nice area.The new management has done a fantastic job making this complex a great place for people to live!

    I have lived a lot of places over my 20+ year renting history. It is a rare find to get a place which checks all the boxes but Parks on the Green does. Great location (and the restaurant around the corner is great too!), good value for the money, and great staff. The renovations really are great. We did have some issues with the flooring and the staff bent over backwards to try and make it right. We felt like the staff (Amanda, Sandy, and Penny) were extended family and often visited the office just to chat. They truly care about us! Never have we been so sad to leave a place but I took a new job in San Antonio that paid double my job in Temple. This is a great place to live!

    The management here has made this apartment complex home. Amanda is part of the UMHB family, so respectful and considerate and Sandy is always aware of what is going on. She will communicate with you if there is any concern going on. Every time I needed maintenance, staff would come on a timely manner with a respectful attitude. I give the maintenance so much props because they really tend to a lot of the physical needs you might need help with and you will always see them around working. I would consider Parks on the Green the safest complex in this area of Temple. Family friendly and student friendly, you will find your temporary or permanent home here. Consider this place your future home as Parks on the Green has treated me well the past 2 years. Thanks guys!

    Sandy, Amanda, and Penny were all great to me. I had two separate stays at Parks and on both year-long leases everything I needed was swiftly addressed. Not enough can be said about the office and maintenance staff and I will forever be thankful for their help. The units are not the newest in town, but they’re still a pretty decent bargain for the area. Thank you all very much, Parks was always welcoming to us.

    My wife and I have been residents at Parks on the Green for many years now. We had lived here for many years before Amanda, Sandy and their crew took over and werent very happy at all. Since they took over this complex has become a warm and inviting place to be so much so that we actually moved out of state for a year and made the decision to come back to Temple and they were our 1st and only choice. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. Maintenance is extremely friendly and kind as are the staff in the office. If you do have any problems they are on top of it quick! Amanda and Sandy are the best property managers weve ever had very blessed ladies. They care about their residence and even have annual get togethers for the residents. They care about their community very much and have made my wife and I feel like family. If your looking for a safe, caring complex in our area to live in this is your place.     I Love Parks On The Green, Great Place to Live, Great Office Staff!! Ms. Amanda, Ms. Penny and Ms. Sandi have been the absolute best! Been here for 5 total years and havent had a single complaint. No issues and everything in terms of maintenance gets handled immediately. Best place to live if you want to stay in Temple.

    Parks on the Green is a great place to live! The grounds are well kept, maintenance is knowledgeable and quick to fix any issues. The ladies in the office are great and super understanding. I could not recommend this property enough!

    Great experience living at this complex. It is fairly quiet, and the staff are always very helpful. Maintenance requests were typically resolved within 24 hours, as well.My only complaint is that the paint they use appears to be relatively cheap, and so overtime the steam from my shower would cause it to melt and drip down the walls.For the price, I would highly recommend.

    My stay here has been absolutely the best. Great managers, great maintenance crew. The apartment was cleaned and ready to move in when I wanted. The complex is well maintained and people are very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

    We are NYC transplants. Amanda and Sandy made our move very smooth. Very comfortable and cozy apartment. If a problem emerged the staff was always courteous and quick to respond. Never experienced any negativity. It was a very good 2 years. Only moved because we purchased a home.

    I lived at Parks on the Green for a year and it was a great place to call home. The apartments are quite, and the staff is very helpful. The maintenance team work very fast to fix any problems, and the grounds is always well maintained. Great place if your looking for a place to stay in Temple.

    Our of all the places I have lived this is literally the best apartment Ive ever lived in. I signed a 1 year lease with my two roommates and we never had any issues with the staff! Every now and again when you are taking a shower the water would randomly get super hot and then super freezing cold and then go back to normal but that was pretty much it. We never had any issues with our neighbors aside from the fact that they allow smoking in the apartments but when my roommate expressed to them that the cigarette smoke was coming into our apartment through the Washer vent they came and capped it off and everything was great. I remember when these apartments were the Westgate apartments and they were HORRIBLE- I am so glad the new management is in office because it was such a pleasant experience. I RECOMMEND THIS PLACES TO ANYONE!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience after the AWFUL ONES Ive had in the past!

    The apartments and grounds are well maintained and the management is so nice and they work hard. Maintenance orders are addressed promptly. This is our third month here and honestly it has felt like home from day 1. My neighbors are all nice and we are so glad we chose Parks on the Green as our Home.

    It is not a bad neighborhood. Easy access to most locations around Temple. The apartment was recently partially updated. The appliances are older but they get the job done. The AC is a bit noisy but you get used to it. The rooms are large. The living room does not have lighting. The staff is very nice and efficient. The pool is cleaned regularly and a great size.

    My family and I have been here going in 2 years and we love it! Can’t recommend this place enough. It is a small complex so the management and maintenance knows everyone! Very quiet, if maintenance is needed they are there in a timely manner and stuff is fixed in a timely manner as well. If you have a problem with a neighbor or anything management does whatever they can to fix it or make it right. I’ve never seen one bug in my apartment! They spray regularly, check fire alarms, and change AC filters regularly. I love this place!

    I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about this place but those are from a time when it was under different management. We have been living here since February 2018 and so far we’re happy here. My only complaints are that the kitchens are quite small and the machine for loading money on your laundry card is located in the office. It can be inconvenient if you’re a late night laundry washer like me and you run out of card credit after business hours. We had an issue when we first moved in with someone in the complex smoking a lot of weed inside and sending the smell into our apartment through the air vents but management dealt with the issue in a timely fashion.

    Such an amazing complex with lovely people. Ramon and LeAnn helped my sister and I out in the middle of the night while our A/C was having issues. Great apartments with hard workers that care about getting the job done. Love living here and never want to leave.

    It is a very nice place to live, the neighbors are super friendly and the staff are the same, the apartments are comfortable and beautiful, it has controlled access after 6:30, I have been living here for a year or so and everything is great 😉

    I am going to live in this place but starting to sign the contract the people in the office have treated me very well, they are kind-hearted and pleasant people and in no apartment have they treated me so well and the place is nice and very clean
