Update after 2 months…After 2 months of stay in the property, my respect and appreciation to the Management team led by Gloria is only increasing on every instance of my interaction. I can see her commitment and dedication to transform the community to well maintained place to live. All issues are addressed and maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. Thank you Gloria and team!!!My earlier post…I have seen very bad reviews about this property and the maintenance team. My experience so far has been completely opposite. The team is very responsive and putting all effort to resolve issues. Kudos to the team led by Carolina. She is well supported by her manager and the team on the ground. I could personally experience the teamwork and commitment! I sincerely Thank them for their tireless effort in turning around the perception about the property!

The place is fine, it is old but not bad. You can manage living there. There are some neighborhoods that make some noise, you feel like it is crowded. The best is the maintenance, they can fix any issue even it kept repeating. We did some requests for maintenance and they all were fine and done in a good time.

Living here in BEL AIR OAKS has been a rather amazing experience since the new management team arrived. Every complex has its areas of oportunity, however, here in BEL AIR OAKS they take on the matter quickly making it more worrisome for us tenants.Management has the most kind and honest staff and they make sure you are walked through the entire process in a simple and understandable way.Thank you Haley for taking care of every need Ive had, and for guiding me through all the process I needed.Hands down Haley is the best of the best, congrats and keep up the amazing job you do.

I had previously posted a lengthy 1 star review from our move in experience... Gloria (the new Property Manager) has turned that around completely! The whole office vibe is different now and SO much better - great energy and very welcoming. Carolina recently helped schedule repairs for a leak in our wall and she is the absolute sweetest. Irma and Hayley have also been great! Maintenance handles work orders promptly and the vendors we have had come over for repairs are as well! I was skeptical of the recent 5 star reviews but after going into the office today I see where those are all coming from. I cant wait to see the changes and improvements this team brings to the community! Kudos ladies, keep up the great work!!!!!

Let be begin by sharing that I have lived here since August 2011. This means I have had contact with probably over 100 maintenance workers.Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dealing with the BEST maintenance worker that has been in my home to make repairs. He knows exactly what he is doing and it shows in how he does his work. All the problems I WAS having were taken care of by Jorge. For instance, the upstairs a/c had been leaking so bad that I have been concerned about permanent damage to the floor. Plus, it just has not been cooling. Jorge took care of the outside unit by cleaning and I believe he added coolant to one of them. He then concentrated on the upstairs by cleaning and clearing out the lines. The leaking had stopped and he told me that if the leaking should start up that I should call. Not too long after he left, sure enough the leaking started up again. A call to the office had Jorge back at my home again. He blew out the lines again. Instead of packing up, he left all his equipment and told me he would check back in about 30 minutes to make sure the leaking had stopped. He returned as promised and the leaking had been stopped. A full night has passed and there has been NO LEAKING!! No one has ever been successful at getting the leaking to stop. It has remained HOT upstairs and I just havent turned the a/c on. Yesterday, I decided to try again to have it repaired and I am so glad I did. I ask that you do what you can do to KEEP Jorge as an employee. He is diamond in how he goes about his work and communicates what he is doing and why. I have never complimented a maintenance worker until now. Please keep Jorge. Bel Air Oaks needs him as much as I do and other residents need him too!!

Haley was great from the beginning when my bf and I came to look at the townhomes. We signed our lease a few days after applying. Yes, they are short staffed. You will take a while to get your phone call connected, but have patience !!! They work hard to get you into your home. The buildings are old, it’s no secret. Don’t expect new home for old prices!! When we moved in, there’s little minor things that are not going to kill you… little things here and there but like I said, old buildings. We are happy with our new home, and Juan with maintenance was quick and communicated with us for a small issue we had. I noticed the valet trash has missed some days, but like I said.. look at your rent total .. you cannot beat it for the space and price! The location is great, close to both highways and many restaurants. We’re happy to be here!

After living here for 4 years I can honestly say it has not been great. But, with Irma and the management team they have now we can definitely feel the difference. Irma has been a great asset to bel air oaks. She has been great with taking care of our request and needs. She is very prompt and always follow up with us to make sure our problem has been fixed. Needed assistance to acquire a parking permit at the last minute and it was pretty busy in the leasing office when I came in. However, I didnt have to wait long at all as I was called into one of the staff members office named Irma. She assisted me with the process of obtaining my parking permit and it was about 15 minutes to close. I got off work early just to accommodate this important task I needed done. She simultaneously navigated me through the RentCafe app on how to retrieve, review and sign the required documentation to get my parking permit sticker. She didnt let me walk out her office without my permit even though it was almost 10 past closing time which was 6pm. Up until I spoke with Irma or at least someone from the leasing office, I had been searching the better half of my days off from work for a suitable auto insurance premium. The task was daunting and it almost seemed as if I wouldnt make the deadline to get the permit because I hadnt found a good quote yet. Eventually there was hope at that end of the tunnel! I want to thank and big up Irmas excellent customer service skills, hospitality and professionalism and empathy she displayed during our consultation! These attributes really go a long way in my book, but I believe it does for anyone else who values respect, transparency and leading by example. Thank you Irma and thanks to all the frontend staff members for their diligence and positive vibes! Mrs. Carolina was also instrumental in assisting me in finding a parking spot at the last minute a few days prior to meeting Irma. Like Irma, she also went out of her way to let me know what parking spots were available and gave me time to find where I could park my car after providing my auto insurance to get ,u parking permit . Understanding my unique situation, she readily issued me a temporary parking permit until I was able to establish auto insurance for my newly purchased vehicle. Thank you Carolina for your excellent customer service as well! These ladies went above and beyond in helping me out and I think future residents will be inclined to check Bel Air Oaks out after meeting them! Keep up the work team! - Ryan

My family and I moved from Canada to the US. We did not yet have any paystubs or bank statements to show income proof. We were stuck in the hotel for about a week before we met Irma at BelAir Oaks. Irma was resourceful in suggesting we could do with our offer letter instead and gave us several different options for documentation. She promised us shed get us a home and she got us our home before the promised date! She was very kind and coordinated with us efficiently.Property Consultants Hayley and Carolina were extremely kind and understanding as well and really helped us through the entire process.The property is beautiful and the homes are clean! The staff is so helpful and resourceful! Im so glad I chose this property!I just moved into the townhouse apartments and I must say, this is possibly the best service Ive experienced till date. Irma Jones, the assistant property manager, was so helpful, responsive, and understanding throughout the procedure.

Been here about a month now and have zero complaints. Haley and Irma both were very helpful and friendly when it came down to getting approved and moved in. They even accommodated us on the type of unit we preferred and that went a long way. I would recommend this complex to anyone. Don’t let the older reviews from years ago deter you. Check it out for yourself. Again thanks to the two ladies on doing such an amazing job.

The apartments are a wonderful place to love. The community is amazing, the prices are like the cheapest in Plano, and the staff are on top of everything there! The maintenance teams are probably the best around. Everytime I got an issue, they show up immediately or call me letting me know when. And they only need fix it once! Ive never had to call for the same problem. Id 10 star Bel Air just for them!

I moved in about about 1 month ago and it was very much not what I expected. I found myself constantly complaining to the manager about issues I was experiencing. My complaints went unanswered and unattended. Last week, I went to office to complain again however, this time I was greeted by the NEW MANAGER; Melissa and I cannot begin to express how happy I am. My issues were attended to and the customer service she offered was at a level that the property really needed. Everyone!!! The manager is Melissa and she is willing to help and assist. Visit with her if you want a solution because the old manager who is still there; god knows why… is rude, disrespectfulI and doesn’t return phone calls. I hope that management sees the impact the new manager has. I returned today to thank her. She was busy but still recalled who I was and she greeted me with the most bubbly attitude.

Since 2014, I been living here theyre getting better with the office is beefing up controlling routine inspections of the trash that other tents come dump outside your door. They quickly make sure your maintenance request is fulfilled and the maintenance crew are friendly and respectful. I can see improvements.

I have enjoyed living at Bel Air Oaks these past few months! If you need anything in the leasing office, I recommend asking CRISTINA HERNANDEZ! She’s the best! CRISTINA is super friendly and helpful! I am grateful for her assistance as I plan on renewing my lease. Especially the maintenance team is moving up to a good scale here. We recently had some problems in our bathrooms and our request was quickly responded. Jose came to our apartment and got the issue fixed in few minutes. Good Job guys!

I moved into Bel Air Oaks thinking it would be fine for me as a single male but Ive also seen families with in the complex that seem to have no issues. My next door neighbors are great! Parking is hard to find but manageable. There were a few minor wear and tear items noted upon move in but nothing major. By normal wear and tear I mean little dent in refrigerator door and dish washer door.There is trash in many areas but this is not a problem due to management, The issue is with some tenants who just discard their trash. The placement of trash is clearly posted and explained prior to moving in. The Bel Air management has maintenance staff picking up any garbage seen throughout the day. The pool is in need of repair as is the tennis and basketball court but its currently to cold for use of any of these facilities. I have not experienced any pests or rodents. My apartment floor plan is wonderful. My two bedroom apartment is much larger than I thought it would be!. People walk their dogs safely at all time. I was contacted by manage at the 30 day mark after moving in to see how everything was going? A member of the management team named DJ has done a great job of making certain everything has gone smoothly beginning the first day of my application process. Thanks DJ for doing such a great job. As a single male moving here was a great decision!

I moved to this place about 4 weeks ago and during this period I was experiencing issues with the management because their maintenance was deplorable but about a week ago I went to the office to make a complaint about this issues but at that time Ms.Melissa spoke with me and explained that she was the new manager and she was there to take care of all the issues and believe me when I say; she kept her word and handled my issues immediately and promptly as she promised. To me she’s the best thing that could have happened to Bel Air EVER.

The community is very friendly and accommodating to the residents, both current and future. The maintenance crew gets the job done quickly and superbly, no mess no fuss, on just about any issue. The leasing staff is very friendly and always on top of things. Our leasing agent, Dejaonae Kemps, was and is currently the sweetest and most accommodating agent ever. She made sure our experience from processing to resident was easy, quick, and very efficient. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great living experience!

I have just recently renewed my lease for another year. At first I let the reviews discouraged me. I havent had any major issues here. I enjoy my stay here. I have not came across any rats or roaches. The only problem I have is I wish they could work on the laundry mat next. It looks pretty awful in there. I wish I could do laundry in my own apartment complex. Give it a try and see for check them out. Keep in mind in due time they will look better with more updates; especially with the Collin Creek mall across the street that will become a Simon Mall within the next few years.

This place is great if you have a family, Id imagine its good for anyone . I saw all the bad reviews and was skeptical at first , but honestly this place is great . Me and my fiance have a 3 bedroom and its HUGE and really cheap. The best bang youre going to get for your buck ! I want to thank DJ at the office and Maribel for helping us out and being extremely attentive. They ensured that my maintenance needs got took care of immediately. The maintenance men Raul and Ruben were great, they took care of the problem immediately and even came out on a Sunday . Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a big home for cheap and a great location

Kim is the only reason why we renewed our contract, our first year wasnt as great ONLY because maintenance never came to fix several things that were supposed to be fixed since we moved in. When I talked to Kim about reason why I didnt want to renewed she promised everything would get done, within a week EVERYTHING was fixed. Maintenance has gotten better since they got new guys in this building and all the ladies in the office are great especially Kim, she goes above and beyond to make your stay here better. The apartments are getting better with the renovations theyre working on just wish trash was placed somewhere else so the apartments would look better. Other than that its pretty quiet around here.

Owners of property credited me for days without water. I changed my review to 5 stars. Apartments dont do that very often. Thats big.Very disappointed. We have had no water for over 24 hours. I dont see anyone on the property working on the issue. The water seems to get cut off on a pretty regular basis.

I moved here in July an I love it! I arrived at the office 5 mins to close an Kimberly helped me finish my paperwork. I apologized over an over for coming late but she was professional an welcomed me. My unit is awesome no rodents or pest of any kind. Where I live is quiet an the people are ok that I encounter. I read reviews for a month which were discouraging but Im glad I decided to move in. Sonia is also a great person to work with in the office. She help me alot allowed me to email her documents because my schedule is always jammed packed. Office staff continue to be professional an nice to your tenants to continue positive reviews of this property. Im overly excited to live here.*Update*I still love my new space. Management is constantly making improvements. An electronic gate is now up an operational. Parking lot is being redone with a black top. No critters of any kind in my unit. I pay for reserve parking so I have no issues with parking. Nothing is ever perfect but patience is key to any situation. So be patience with them while they improve our living environment.

(Some people must of had a bad day and take it out on others) Anyways, we ran into a hiccup and the staff was very communicative with me about this. I understood the situation to be out of their control. Even though my move in date got pushed back a month, (or less I HOPE). I cant wait to move in! We are excited to move to this community. I was moving in early 2017, looking for a apartment large enough for myself and my children on a budget while staying in their school district which was near impossible. TheTlast place I Iived was awful and we had to leave because I have a disabled child and there were so many FHA/ADA violations, it was no longer safe and they no longer would accommodate us. I used an apartment locator and they referred me here. The model I viewed was nice andasaw thetnew management was working diligently to get things fixed on the property and were willingwto accommodate my childs disability in any way they could. I went home and read countless negative reviews and I was terrified but I honestly, didnt get that feeling from them. I decided to take a risk. I put up a security camera when I moved in and set off three bug bombs ( major complaint I read that scared me). I cleaned, moved in, and its been amazingly peaceful and quiet. I dont have any bug or pest issues, wild animals breaking in, or people for that matter. Maintenance is really friendly! Treat people with respect and get respect. Christopher on the grounds keeps this place looking in tip top shape. We love him and he always has a smile on his face. The office staff and managers are always friendly and prompt about following up on maintenance requests, making sure everything is taken care of ASAP. They are really compassionate. People forget is this property was built in the 1960s and is alot of work to maintain. And its a huge property. These people have families as well and lots of other people who have maintenance issues as well but they havent forgot about you. Have patience. Its ok to call and check up on your work order. They understand. Dont be mean. I have a huge townhome apartment with a huge patio space thats quiet and I could not find anything this close to Dallas for this good of a price anywhere else without serious issues. I have absolutely no issues here. And I have a pretty yard. Ive lived here for three years now and I dont plan on moving anytime soon, and to be honest, I dont hear any of the residents complain like the reviews Ive read online since Ive moved here.

She has always taken my complaints serious! She goes far and beyond her call of duty to make sure that I am taken care of! I have lived here since July of 2018, and I have been through a lot of stuff, losing my father, my jobs and almost my sanity and my apartment here. Kimberly Medina is the reason why I am still here. She has always helped me when I was late or couldnt pay. She has always worked with me. Communication is KEY!!! People are always angry when something doesnt go their way. Thats why they leave bad reviews. I have always said, you cannot get mad at someone for doing their jobs. It is our responsibility to pay rent, not the people that work in the office. Kimberly and Mr. Thibodaux are the nicest people that work here. I plan on staying here until I am able to purchase a home. Kimberly and Mr. Thibobaux will be invited over for a BBQ. Thank you guys for making living here the best! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

We leased at Bel Air Oaks apartments in the begenning of 2019 and it has been an excellent experience living here. Staff is great and has always been very responsive when I had to reach them. I can truly say I feel at home :). Management is amazing this lady Venessa goes above and beyond for her customers to get any issues fixed. Very responsive and great to work with this kind of a Team. Thank you

I give them a 4 star rating because my husband and I really do like living here. There has been no crime, everyone is really friendly, when we ask for stuff to get done they are pretty quick to work on stuff... but with that being said there are a couple of negatives... but that could be with any place. They advertise play grounds... they do not have a play ground. They have a swing set that looks unsafe to play on... my husband and I both asked at seprate times of that was gonna change and both times the manager said she was gonna bring it up in her managers meeting the next day... also there is alot of trash all over. We have specific trash days and times... but no matter what day or time I always see alot of trash all over.

Me and my roommate were helped by Cristina Hernandez, she went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to move in two days after we applied. We had extenuating circumstances, and Cristina and Bel Air Oaks made sure that we moved into a clean, safe place :-)

Just moved into a three bedroom with an upstairs. The outside of the apartments are under renovation but so far the inside of the place is nice and spacious. The jack and jill bathroom is really nice, it has separate toilet and vanities but shared shower room. Although it looks a bit rusty on the outside of the community, they are adding a gate and remodelling the fitness center and clubhouse. These people are serious when it comes to adding new pieces to the community. The gate is planned to be finished in december and the clubhouse and fitness is planned to be finished rather sooner than that. Looked at the older pictures and reviews and compared to my move in. Havent found mold, pests, webs, or any leaks. These people are definitely trying to save it from what it used to be. Cant wait to see the final results. Keep the good work up on the renovations.
