    I started off with a used Alen Air Purifier I bought off of the Marketplace and was so impressed that we now have three total in our home. We have 10 cats and the amount of dander, particles, dust and hair these things pick up is Ah-Ma-Zing! The filters are a little pricey, but the overall value/benefit is worth it. Ordering online is a breeze and the shipping is fast!

    With Coronavirus, kids , and cats I know the air that we breath in our home needed to be purified. Especially if the purifier has HEPA technology . It was pricy but my family is worth it. It is protection . My daughter gave me a 10% referral coupon, place order and received the unit within 5 days. I registered the unit and requested a pdf manual from customer service and it was helpful . To prevent spread and breath in a much outer air environment , but Allen Breathesmart 75i model . I highly recommend it

    I recently moved into an apartment that sat empty for many months. So there was a musty smell in the air when I moved in. The apt wasnt dirty, just empty. And although it may have been all in my head, when I would spend any length of time unpacking and setting the apt up, my throat would become irritated and I would cough occasionally. So I researched purifiers on CR, best for an apartment approx. 950 sq ft. Of course, the Alen 75i, although pricey, was ranked highest with impressive results. I purchased it and set it up for my 1st 24 hour stay. The instructions suggest that you run at full blast for the 1st 2 hours then set it to auto. The results were almost immediate. I could tell a big difference after 45 minutes. But after a few days of letting it run automatically, the air quality became incrementally better. After 3 weeks of living here, I can tell a big difference in the air throughout the entire apartment. If you can afford the 75i, buy it.

    We bought two air purifiers several years ago and use them on a daily basis. We live with 6 dogs and 6 cats, so you can imagine the interesting aromas that we breathe in, especially on rainy days! The purifiers have never let us down. We vacuum the filters weekly and they perform like new - and have yet to open the package of new filters. Our cat Chloe loves to sit atop our bedroom air purifier and turn it on and turn it off. Shes a true fan!!!

    Alen air purifiers are the best for residential use. I recently purchased our second unit for the house in the bedroom. These purifiers are quiet and work very well. Easy to change the filter and pre-filter. Reasonably priced replacement filters of great quality. These units are sensitive in detecting changes to air quality and the unit shows almost instantly when a change occurs in the air. I intend on being a long term customer loyal to this brand.

    I bought a couple of high end Alen Air purifiers for my home. I am highly sensitive, and found myself not turning them on because the noise disturbed me. I was grateful for their generous 60 day return policy because it took me a while to figure out what wasnt working for me. When I called, I was fortunate to get Danielle on the phone. She was very patient and helped me to get a full refund for my air purifiers. She then did some research for me and we identified that the BreatheSmart FLEX would better fit my needs. I love my new BreatheSmart FLEX air purifiers so much that I bought an extra one for my daughter. These purifiers are quiet and do a great job at cleaning the dust particles and pollen that collects from our desert climate and the hair and dander from our 4 shedding pets. My daughter says that since she started using her BreatheSmart FLEX, shes had relief from her allergies and sinus infections. I am amazed that there is still a U.S. company that honestly stands by their products and their word, and offers such fantastic service. They genuinely cared about me as their customer and they honored their word. They have earned my loyalty.

    The results can not only be seen on the filter but felt when using as directed. The air in our home smells fresh, light and it is much easier to breath than without the Alen Air Purifier. Using this purifier has not significantly raised our energy usage either. If I hadnt already made the investment into one of these, I would definitly do it.I am contemplating passing my current unit on to a family member and purchasing a unit that would cover my entire home.Alen, the only way to go in clean air.

    Alen made it so easy to get exactly what I wanted--simple, quiet air purification. The FLEX unit works beautifully in our open plan living area and I love the automatic shipping of new filters every 6 months. With a very shaggy dog in the house and pollen allergies, we are no longer sneezing and the air is noticably fresher. So glad to have chosen Alen for our air cleaning needs. Cannot say enough good things about them. If youre wondering, dont hesitate. Great company and excellent products.

    Due to our new “normal” of severe wildfires in Northern California every summer, I have bought 2 Alen air filters for our house, and one for each of my children’s houses. We all love them!     We have never had a product that filters the air in such a complete manner. We currently have 3 in the living room (over kill but important for me) and one on our bedroom. We always move one to our guest room before someone comets to make sure they have a great experience. As an allergy suffer I dont know what I would do without Alen Air Purifiers in our home

    Bought a Dyson air purifier and returned it. Looked clownish as they have definitely jumped the shark. Form over function. Also seemed poorly built and loud and had poor reviews.Looked at consumer reports and Alen is top rated for FUNCTION. I’ve had it in a 500 square foot room for about a month and will take more time to see if it lowers dust accumulation etc., but this far it seems to be working very well. Home is near a highway and accumulates excessive dust.The Alen is also beautifully designed without being over-stylized. It is beautiful in its simplicity. The filter removal is perfect and so simple. There is nothing else to do and the functional buttons are perfectly designed, placed and useful.You can select auto or manual settings and the indicator lights can be illuminated or not. The led light colors correspond to how hard it is working and in automatic you can see it react to the environment. If you open a door for just a minute, the purifier will react as indicated by the light color scheme and under the auto setting increase the filtering. It is very quiet.It is not often that a product seems perfect in every way and I would highly recommend Alen.Finally, I called customer service before purchasing to ask a few questions and the rep was excellent. US-based and very responsive. Answered on second ring!

    I love my Alen Breathsmart Fit50! It works perfectly and as advertised. When my cat uses her litterbox in another room, my air purifier kicks on to clean the air of the particles I would never know were even in the air.. thats how efficient it is.     I have had my Alen air purifier for several years. I bought it for cat litter box smell and smoking. It made a huge difference with the litter box odor, I used the VOC filter at that time. I moved and could no longer smoke, but I still had my cat. Alen recommended BF35-Silver-Carbon Filter. An excellent product, silver helps with viruses and bacteria. The best investment I have ever made, an Alen Hepa Air Purifier.

    Having as many fires as we do in northern California, we had to clean the air in our home. Alan purifier does a fantastic job of scrubbing the air and clearing the smoke odor out. I highly recommend it. Ours has been running since 2000 Continuously 24/7. We have had no problems with it at all.     I bought the breathesmart flex about 6 months ago because i have a parrot and high-pile carpeting throughout my apartment. i really like how lightweight it is, and i notice much less dust collecting on surfaces around the apt.my only disappointment is that it does not take care of smells. At the time of purchase, they only had one type of filter in stock. So now i have to wait until my current filter needs replacing before i can buy the odor eliminating filter.overall id recommend this to bird owners looking for an air purifier

    Love my new Alen Air Filter! My daughter’s bathroom ceiling was covered with small breakouts of mold.They removed first layer of drywall and replaced it. They used 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint. The smell was noxious and gave us headaches.The Alen Air Purifier is light weght and portable.Put it in the bathroom and adjoining bedroom for 2-3 days. Helped to get odor out of our appt faster.

    Absolutely love my Alen Air purifiers!!! I have one in my office and one at home. I am getting ready to buy another one for my daughter going off to college. I discovered them when doing my sports freelance work.     I love this thing!!! I could tell a noticeable difference within 1 hour of using it. I also love the no light feature (to save power and help me sleep) when it’s on but you can turn off the lights of the buttons. It’s quiet and the filter lasts long. I’ve had mine running 24/7 since February and it’s still full throttle on the filter. Don’t think about it just buy!! You will be very pleased!

    We’ve had Alen purifiers for over 20 years and had an issue with only one out of the four we own. Can’t remember the exact problem but, true to their word, we were sent a whole new unit immediately (lifetime warranty initiated without a question). We’ve had dogs most of the time we’ve owned Alan and my spouse has allergies. Alan does a fantastic job cleaning the air.

    I love my 2 tower air purifiers! And the fact that the company is so responsive by phone and email is awesome! If I have a question or issue, they either answer the phone or reply promptly and professionally. I will never buy another brand (because I wont have to)! I have seasonal allergies and am allergic to dust and mold. These units make a difference and I love the white or pink noise when I need to take a nap and drown out the neighbors stereo.

    We were having a huge problem with dust in our home. Could not figure out why or where it was coming from. We finally got so frustrated with having to dust every other day, and decided to purchase an air purifier. Our research led us to Alen after seeing favorable ratings and reviews for their products. We were also impressed with their lifetime warranty option...more on that later.Ordering was very easy online with many choices based on the square footage youre trying to maintain. We have a small home, so the 1300 sqft unit fit the bill for our purposes. We also liked the fact that for a very small upcharge, you can customize the face of the unit to match your decore.The unit arrived within a week, and was packaged very securely. Set up was quick and intuitive with the quick guide included with the unit, and even more detailed instructions found through the support link on their well laid out website.The unit was larger than we anticipated, but still quite manageable to place or move around if necessary. Controls are well labeled and very easy to understand and operate. I especially like the color changing air quality indicator, so you can monitor the current air quality with a simple glance. The instructions indicated that the unit should be set to run at the highest settings for a last a few hours upon initial operation before switching to automatic mode. After 4 hours, we switched to automatic and the unit continued to run on high for the better part of a full day. The unit gradually began to ramp down the second day, eventually settling into the best air quality mode with the lowest fan speed. The sound of the unit at its highest speed is not bad, and barely noticeable when operating at its lowest speed (which is most of the time).The results: simply put... astonishing! We went from having to dust every other day, to not having had to dust in nearly two weeks. My wife and I always found we coughed a lot, especially during the heating season months. That problem went away for both of us since using the Alen purifier. Cooking odors no longer linger after dinner, which is an added plus. We did notice that when we run our humidifiers, the air purifier ramps up. Dont know why this happens, but the humidifiers must release some sort of particulate matter that the purifier senses. Bottom line, thrilled with the results on so many different levels!Behind the face of the unit lies the hepa filter which has a pre-filter cover. The face of the unit is magnetically held in place and easily removed and replaced. Instructions suggest vacuuming the pre filter regularly to extend the life of the hepa filter. I waited two weeks before going to vacuum the pre filter, and was amazed at the amount of dust and dirt collected on the pre filter. Very thick accumulation and will now take the two minutes to vacuum once a week instead of every two weeks. This leads to another great feature about the Alen purifier... you can choose between several different grades of filters depending on your air quality situation and can switch depending on needs and season. Dust was out biggest concern, so we chose the filter that specifically addressed that need. Alen has configured their warranty such that if you subscribe to their automatic filter replacement program and register your purifier with them, the lifetime product warranty kicks in. You have the flexibility to choose how many months before the filter is sent to you and they offer a percentage off discount to normal prices by enrolling in the program. Win / win situation!I did have the occasion to contact customer service as I wondered what the purpose was of a small compartment on the side of the unit. They replied quickly the next day explaining that compartment housed the control chip for the unit.Forgot to mention... there is also an ionization button that helps boost particulate removal. This can be turned on or off depending on need. We prefer not to run this continually as it does release a minute amount of ozone into the air. A+ rating overall!

    Living in California I felt that it was time to get a good air purifier to help with the wildland fire smoke. A friend of mine, who owns an underwater construction company, wanted to get some also for both his business and home so he put two of his engineers on it for the day and said, figure which purifier we want to buy. The answer that came back was - Alen.Thats all I needed so I now have a 75i keeping my atmosphere clean.Love it, especially the sensitivity of the monitor.

    So I have the worst allergies …..walked into my neighbors home for the first time & could breathe noticeably better than in my home.He pointed to their ALEN & I ordered one immediately.My Classic has changed my breathing & allergies dramatically.Have recently moved out of California & my allergies are nearly gone .The Classic with the 2nd to top model filter eliminates food odors & keeps the home fresh & air purified to a wonderful level. Buy the best filter for best results.Also…after 1 year my Classic started to get louder & I called customer service & without any hesitation they replaced the noisy unit within 4 days….that’s fast!     I rarely do these reviews and, when I do, I dont usually give 5 stars but, so far, my BreatheSmart FLEX True HEPA Air Purifier - (in Fresh / White), warrants it. I have a finished basement where I keep my guitars & do my playing/recording (so I spend a lot of time down there) and, despite being finished, it still smelled like a dank & musty basement. (I even have a de-humidifier, which helps with the humidity but doesnt freshen the air.) Within hours of putting the Alen BreatheSmart unit down there, the odors are virtually gone! I was skeptical that anything would work but Im pleasantly surprised that the unit did exactly what I wanted!I was looking at some cheaper purifiers on Amazon but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for...so while the Alen was a bit more than I initially wanted to spend, Im glad I did.Im hopeful that the unit will last a while and will try to remember to post some updates in the future.Ordering was easy and problem-free, and the information on the website about the various models was comprehensive and informative, allowing me to choose the model that fit my needs.Well done, Alen!

    I have the breathesmart 75i and 45i and they seem to be doing a great job! I see the air quality indicator go down when I know something is affecting the air (e.g., neighbor mowing, higher smoke index in the air). They are pricey, so I waited for a sale. So far seems like a worthwhile purchase!

    We bought 3 of these for “fire smoke season.” We love how it tells us the quality of air and how quiet it is. When we’re cooking something smokey, our purifier amps up to clear out the air. Smoke season hasn’t started yet but having this gives me a sense of ease knowing my family and I will be prepared.

    Very happy and impressed with the air filter I purchased. I have been Livestreaming and recording videos for work since September 2020. I can run this air filter on its highest setting, and despite using a pretty sensitive external microphone, it doesnt pick up a peep from the filter. Despite being so quiet, its extremely powerful!

    I bought this because we needed something to freshen up the stale, semi-chemical-smelling air in our house without superficially masking it. We got two mid-size units, one for the kitchen and one for the living room area.Pros:- Stylish design- Silent when not on turbo- Self-sustaining; I interact with it minimally.Neutral:- Needs (or asks for) a wide berth along the longest wall, but thats not always an option -- our kitchen is v. small and oddly shaped.Cons:- Doesnt remove smells as much as I had hoped/expected. It was listed as a great smell neutralizer on an aggregating site I trust, but alas, I think I missed on this one. It helps smells, but not as much as I would have thought for the price.

    I recently purchased the Alen T500 to add to the other, older units (from a different manufacturer) that I’ve been using for many years. I needed a smaller unit to put in a small bedroom. The T500 is much more than adequate for the space. I have not noticed a difference in my air quality yet, but I am very impressed with how quietly the unit runs even when it’s on high. I’m also pleased to have the option to run the unit with or without the ionizer active. The manufacturer says it produces very little or no ozone—I choose to run the ionizer when I’m not in the room. I have multiple severe mold allergies and planned to do more research to decide whether I want to use the ionizer while I’m sleeping, but, so far, it has not been necessary. I am pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to a friend.

    The units work perfectly , they are easy to move around, operate and also to change the filter. The only thing would be that they make some fan noise, depending on the speeds selected (4 speeds) the unit sounds like a small fan to a big one. But this is unavoidable in any unit moving air. I also like that the LEDs can be turned off so the unit can operate and the bedroom stays dark. But the unit is made in China, so no idea on workers rights there, how big is the China-US transport carbon footprint or how environmentally friendly the building process at the factory is.

I believe that the filtration of particulates is the best way to clean the air, especially when a HEPA filtration system is used. There is a visual difference in the air when the cleaners are running. When I dont run them, there is a haze in the house. I mean you can really see a difference. And having these hepa cleaners provided a lot of mental and physical comfort during Covid. I dont know if Alen is the best, but it is the best I have ever had.

    Life changing...I lived with chronic sinus issues and when the fires hit our area I suffered everyday.
