We purchased a home here in November 2023, and absolutely love it. The location is fantastic, extremely central within the DFW area and commutes to most places are within 30 minutes or less. The community itself is gorgeous. I cant even count the number of times weve already used some of the many amenities offered, or attended one of the many events organized. All together, tremendous value for our family. No place is perfect, but the pros far outweigh the cons here.

Have to say all and all it is a nice community, yes the loss of natural areas is disgusting but was bound to happen. Wish we would of dedicated more natural areas around the community. Good place to get outside. Even though beautifully done it is not a runner friendly loop around the lake in the summer. The lack of water fountain tells you that they are not concern with people using the lake as their running path. River legacy has water fountains but also have road bikes riding on the sidewalk 20 miles an hour. Pool are is nice and parks in community ever better with water fountains. Houses are well done, top notch and quality. Really its like a resort daily. Life away from work feels just good here.

Great neighborhood with great neighbors. The trails are great for cycling and running. My daughter is extremely happy at Viridian elementary. My only mistake is not having made the decision to move in sooner. Do your research, visit the neighborhood, talk to the residents and you will see why it is great place to live.

I have lived here for close to 3 months and cannot say enough positive things about it. The staff at the front has been very accommodating and quite Nice. Chris at the front desk is awesome...its impressive he can remember so many residents names. Maintenance responds promptly to requests and issues. The grounds are well maintained and this property is very friendly towards dogs. The dog park is quite convenient and the whole property is well stocked and maintained with baggies for the dog clean up.The staff is doing a better job of arranging resident events and the like. And food truck Friday is fun when you are around to take advantage of it.

Lived in this community for almost 3 years now. I had to sell my home and move to a different place but stayed within the neighborhood. I cant imagine living in any other place in DFW. The people who live here are, for the most part, incredibly friendly. Its a community that supports each other and other nearby neighborhoods. I cant tell you how many times I needed a random item like a spare set of sheets, a hoodie, sugar, or even someone to help me put up a fan or Christmas lights and have been met with a quick helping hand or two or three! The negative reviews here are from people who admittedly dont live here (or are specific to a builder and not the community). I have maybe only noticed a slight smell from the hill to the west one time in the time Ive been here. There is so much wildlife in and around the neighborhood. Ive bumped into an armadillo, and its a common sight to see neighbors picking up turtles to help them cross the road and get from one lake to another. After the winter storm, I had no less than 50 robins picking berries from the bushes in front of my window. The amenities are amazing and there are events, classes, fitness, groups...anything you can imagine really. Someone said its like going home to a resort every day and I couldnt agree more. There are parks everywhere, multiple swimming pools, miles of trails, a beach, and the sunset views are unbeatable being just enough out of the city. Its location is convenient to 30, 183, 360 so I can get to downtown FW or Dallas (where I work) in 30 minutes on most days, often even less than that. Its designed to meet anyone in any stage of life from young families to retirees. The prices of a new build are surprisingly comparable to the current housing market which is one of the reasons Im staying here and cant wait to build my second home in a few years.Like I said earlier, I cant imagine living anywhere else in DFW and dont ever plan to leave! :)

Feel compelled to write this review after living here at Viridian a little over 5 years now. Im a building contractor by trade and have spent the last 45 years right here in Arlington. I walk and ride my bicycle all over the development and have watched this development evolve over time. To start with, the developers have just done a fantastic job. The layout, the common areas, parks and landscaping just continue to amaze me. Never in my career have a ever seen another development as well done. Speaking specifically about the construction the developer has controlled....The quality that they have put into the amenities and common area structures and fixtures is unsurpassed in my mind. They have set a standard that I just dont think will ever be matched by others. Congratulations to all involved. And Thank you for providing me with a quality investment that I am proud of and continue to show off to my family and friends.

A small community inhabiting a big city is how I like to describe the Viridian. This brand new community is quickly developing attracting more and more people every day. Although the community is across from a large landfill, the distance great enough to avoid the stench. The number of amenities you get in the Viridian are vast, and you have beautifully made houses!

This place is home. We are one of many families to have purchased houses twice in Viridian, upgrading after learning the benefits of this community by living here. Located in the middle of the Metroplex, we have access to parks, bicycle trails, resort-like pools, and sports (sailing, fishing, tennis, sand volleyball, hiking) right out our front door. The neighborhood, started with its first residents in 2012, is economically, internationally, and ethnically diverse and inclusive.

We have lived in Viridian for a little over a year and absolutely love it! The community is beautiful. The neighbors are so friendly. The VRA plans amazing events. You really couldn’t ask for more.

We purchased our home in Viridian in March of 2013. We could not be happier. We love our home by Drees, our wonderful neighbors and all the wonderful activities provided by the Viridian Homeowners Association and our link to River Legacy Park. The developers have a very real concern for the environment and for the residents of Viridian.

Love the neighborhood. Love the parks. Haven’t smelled anything so far......Went to school at Texas Tech and living in Lubbock smelled horrible from all the ranchers nearby depending on where the wind was blowing. Haven’t smelled anything as rancid as west texas here.
