This place is a little hidden gem! The property is beautiful, with rolling hills, trees galore and natural rivers. Amazing views especially from the 18th hole! Beautiful golf course, great food at the clubhouse, 2 pools, a tennis court and playground. There are always fun activities as far as clubs to join, live bands and wine tasting.. My favorite thing however are the people, there is nothing like the people that live here. I’ve lived in allot of places and never had so many neighbors that became friends. In fact, they are not just neighbors they are more like family! I highly recommend living here and going through a realtor if you are interested in a lot. There are many beautiful lots available for sale through individuals. -

Have lived here for nearly three years now. Its like a dream come true, with a great community of people and outstanding amenities. We purchased an existing home, and feel that the POA fees and golf membership are worth every penny. Love it here! -

This is a wonderful neighborhood to live. The people who live here are amazing, and there is a definite sense of community. This is the best and most active neighborhood I have ever lived... and I have lived many places. The wildflowers are beautiful and the views are amazing. The golf course is pretty and challenging too. -

My wife and I bought a house here in July 2018. We love the views and it is very peaceful out here. If you love nature this is the place for you. The golf course is very nice too. -

My wife and I just recently purchased a plot at The Retreat. We have played a couple rounds of golf and toured the property on a couple occasions. A great clubhouse and golf course. Stan Goldstein was a very knowledgeable and personal sales representative that guided us to a great lot purchase. -

The Retreat is a stunning development - full of nature and wildlife, beautiful golf course, and a clubhouse serving fresh and tasty dishes. It seems like a perfect place to live where you feel away from it all, but within an hour drive to Fort Worth. An active, outdoorsy neighborhood with stunning views, we can see why it’s called The Retreat. -

This is a beautiful resort and would be a lovely place to build a home. You can get some good deals on resales. Just google Retreat Lots by owner. If you want to buy a lot you can get a better deal from resale than from the resort. -
