Mark and the team at Strub are total rock stars! We moved to Austin from out of state in 2019. We didn’t really know the area very well, but Mark immediately got a feel for the kind of place that would work with our lifestyle and found a hidden gem of a house in a great neighborhood.After living there for 4 years and making a bunch of improvements we decided to move out of state to be closer to family. This was summer of 2023 and the Austin market had already started tanking after the huge 2020-21 price surges. We weren’t sure the place would sell because everything in the city was sitting for months.Mark’s team put together an incredible listing and did tons of marketing and open houses and got us offer at close to full price after only 2 weeks on market! There were a lot of hurdles to jump through with the inspection and closing process, but the team stayed on top of everything and kept the deal together until we closed.The Strub team is the best in the business and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Austin.

Justyn LeFebvre and the team at Strub are the best in the business. Justyn mobilized a team that did painting, repairs, pictures, advertising, staging and listing. His operation was so smooth, that by the time we listed, we had offers waiting. His pricing was perfect to create interest but also right in the sweet spot to bid up. Our home in Travis Heights was sold in less than a week and I still cant believe the final sales price.Side note: After staging, I considered keeping the house as an Airbnb, but the price was too good.

Where do I start? Justyn is everything I could ever want in a realtor. As a first time home buyer, we had a million questions and Justyn was always ready with answers, helpful context and background information, and market comparisons so we always had the full story. Extremely communicative and on call, he was very responsive but also managed our expectations with kindness and humor. We had complete trust in him throughout the process. Hes skeptical and discerning of flips, knows and communicates exactly what red flags to look for in home construction and design. 1st time home buyer, new to the Austin area, and only in Austin part-time during my house hunt: I worked with Justyn and without him, who knows where I would be living right now. Alas, we closed on a perfect home in early March, making it through aggressive competition, and I could not be happier and more optimistic about my future in Austin.It is clear now, especially for a 1st-time buyer, that you need a full-service agency and dedicated agent and thats exactly what Strub was able to provide. If I had cut corners or gone for the bargain model that was offered to me along the way, I would not have landed in this neighborhood, I would not have been able to close on something with as much value and upside, and the level of stress and anxiety would have been too great. Working with Mark and Justyn was absolutely the best decision I made.---I threw a lot at Mark and Justyn early on. I was relocating from the Bay Area and I could only be down here part-time. I also came in thinking I knew exactly what I was looking for only to change my mind several times along the way.Justyn was on top of everything the whole way. When it came time to upgrade and move to a bigger home, we didn’t hesitate once to contact Mark and his team to represent us again. We spent time with both Eric and Mark over the course of 6 months trying to get into the right property in Northwest Hills. We chose to work with Ashley Jamieson of Strub Residential for a second time when selling our first home and buying our second. We had just as lovely an experience as we did the first time around! Ashley is always completely professional and invited us in for a formal presentation of how our home selling process could look relative to similar sales in the area. It was great to have this kind of attention even though we had worked with Ashley before- it reminded us of the work that she puts into making sure our experience as homeowners goes as smoothly as possible.Ashleys attention to detail ensured our property looked perfect when we officially put it on the market. Strub compiled professional photos and a fast facts binder for potential buyers that really made our property feel special. We sold our home at above asking price within a week!At the same time, Ashley brought us to see a number of properties that fit our interest when buying a second home and we ultimately found a perfect option in the neighborhood we wanted and at the perfect price point. We found the place more quickly than expected, but the timing of the sale of our home and move in to the next ended up working out very smoothly thanks to Ashleys help. Finally, we found the house for us and Patrick was INVALUABLE in guiding us through purchasing our first house. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Austin area who needs an agent. Mark made selling our first house a dream come true! Not only did he make it seem easy, he was able to get our house an offer in a few days for more than any other realtor quoted us and negotiated effortlessly with an all cash buyer who ended up buying all of our furniture as well!! Talk about an awesome experience! He was able to get our house sold so quickly that we were out in less than a month after it went on the market with money in our wallets and off to our next big adventure.Since then, Mark helped us put an offer on a house in central Austin and helped us through a painful process with our lender. A mutual friend introduced us to Mark when we moved to Austin, and from our very first breakfast taco together we knew that Strüb Residential would be how we would buy our first house. They have a dream team of agents and support staff that made buying a house a painless process. Mark was a perfect guide - he gave us the information we needed, set realistic expectations, and had an excellent ability to figure out what we needed/wanted as opposed to other buyers. Mark and his team were also there for us whenever we had a question about what to expect, which for first-time homebuyers seemed to be about every 5 minutes.Throughout the process, we never felt pressured or rushed, but did feel fully supported my Mark and his team. They knew the market so well that they were able to tell us exactly what (and how) we should bid to get an amazing house in a super competitive neighborhood, and it worked! When we started looking for a house we figured it would end up being just like the first time, difficult.Five years later, we decided it was time for an upgrade. We were nervous about all the work it was going to take, but we really wanted to move. I looked around and saw all the great reviews for Mark Strub and his team, I decided to take the chance with them and it was an awesome decision.Mark came out very quickly and looked over our house since we were looking at buying a new house and then selling our old house once we had moved. He gave us some pointers on what we should update or do to the house to help it sell faster. We got a couple lender recommendations and he answered all our questions.We started looking for new houses right away, Mark recommended one of his agents that specializes in North Austin. Here is where our journey with Stewart begins. From the get-go Stewart was responsive to any questions or viewings we want to see. He was interested in knowing what we wanted in a house and probably knew what we wanted more than we did! He was knowledgeable in what to look for that may be issues with a house later and what would end up being a money sink or a quick fix.We found an amazing house which ended up getting multiple offers. I highly believe that we were about to get the house due to Stewart and his advice to us when putting the offer in.Then we moved in and started the process to sell our house. This went extremely smooth. We posted our house, sold it, and had the money in our bank in 11 days. I believe that a lot of the improvements (we talked with them about) helped us sell our house that quickly.I cant imagine having done either the buy or the sell without Stewart and as long as he is still a realtor, I never will!

I have had the pleasure of working with Eric for both a sale of a home and the purchase of a home a year later. Both of these home decisions were difficult for me as one was as I left an old life and the other was me stepping into my new life and the fear of doing that alone.Eric handled both situations exquisitely as he was there to schedule repairs to the house for sale, facilitated the repairs getting done so I didn’t have to leave work, and was just a sweet, caring guy who still got his job done well. For the home purchase he worked with me as I extended option period, got cold feet, and figured everything out that I needed to feel I had done my due diligence to accept such a large endeavor. He was there to guide me, listen to me(even when it was more therapy than selling the house), and kept the dynamic between us and the sellers positive. I pushed him to ask for things he thought were unwise, but we still did them. He gave me guidance on what he knew and referred me to the appropriate people when more technical information was needed.Overall, Eric is a great realtor to have as your partner. He wants the best for his clients, and I feel he truly takes pride in helping people get their lives situated as they want. I highly recommend Eric.

Mark Strub is truly an uber-real estate agent! Our Austin home search began from our apartment in Brooklyn. Mark and my husband were in contact for a couple months before our move, narrowing down the search based on budget and various parameters we laid out to him like size, location, and amenities. We were sent an automatically updating list of homes almost on a daily basis for us to daydream about.When we had made the transition to an apartment in Austin, we met with Mark so he could feel out our personalities and get a better sense of what neighborhood would be right for us. At that point, we were unsure whether to buy within the city limits or go further out to the suburbs.Mark was always available at times convenient for us to show us homes that caught our eye. Not only did he provide valuable information about what to look for in the home itself, he also acted as an ambassador to the city, pointing out good restaurants, notable neighborhoods, info about schools, and other tidbits along the way. He made recommendations for mortgage brokers and insurance companies and was basically a patient, guiding hand throughout the process.We ended up closing on a wonderful home that met pretty much all our desires within only a couple of months! Continued smooth sailing and professional approach making things easy.As a first time homebuyer, having a good ally and advocate in a realtor was critical to succeed. I had been looking casually on my own for a year, and finally decided to connect with Mark and Patrick. We had a good connection and he had a good knowledge of the market and things to look for. He was not a pressuring person, and had a good eye for the things you want checked in buying a home (AC unit, drainage, roof, etc.)After a year of searching on my own, it was about 2 months from first meeting to handing over keys to my perfect home. They were responsive, responsible, and prepared for all steps in the process. Also received a good referral from realtor for some contractors on housework. Contractors did solid work, but you will need to negotiate your own prices with them.The biggest thing that I think Patrick helped me on is saving me from myself. I thought I was going to have to move out to the boonies for what I wanted, and Patrick did an excellent job of keeping an eye out for what I wanted, but closer in. Not only that, we found something cheaper than what I was expecting to pay. Without his excellent guidance and eye for the market I wouldnt be as happy as I am.My only concern about the process was that I might have overpaid on the home in question, and could have had better guidance on a lower counter offer. It was a multiple offer situation within 24 hours which is a very hard thing to judge, and ultimately I got the home I wanted so thats the ultimate win. As a counterpoint, when the inspection came back he was able to knock off thousands from the offer, so it worked out well.No problem recommending them, and will likely use their services when its time to upgrade in a decade or so.

We were moving from SF Bay Area to Austin and were recommended Justyn LeFebvre from STRUB, and boy, it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. It was our first time buying a house and Justyn guided us through every step of the process, from finding a local lender (essential) to local insurance agents, and inspectors. He was brilliant at expertly and humorously fielding my wife’s hundreds of calls, texts, and FaceTimes.Justyn first suggested we fly in for a weekend to tour some properties and to meet face to face. While we didn’t get the one house we made an offer on, this was all Justyn needed to get a feel for us as people, the house we were looking for, and the neighborhoods we wanted.During the next few weeks, Justyn would FaceTime us, and send us video clips of houses we targeted through his email updates of the available houses. We had a great relationship with him, and we totally trusted his judgment with houses he thought were, or were not, right for us.After putting in several bids where we became the second-placed backup buyer, we landed a great house after Justyn recommended certain conditions in our offer. House shopping can make you pretty neurotic and sometimes even depressed but Mark Strüb was always calm and collected as he listened to me voice all my concerns and rationalizations. You can skip the interviewing a bunch of agents to be sure youre finding the best representative part. You can probably also skip the home buying for dummies books, unless youre the curious sort. Just hire Mark and know youve made a genius decision.We had a very specific dream house - one thats extremely hard to find in Austin in our budget range (Craftsman bungalow, original built-ins, great lot, great neighborhood, etc.). So when our house came on the market, Mark had us in to view it in, like, an hour. He submitted an offer for us within the next ~3 hours. Over the fraught bidding war days, he built a good relationship with the sellers agent. So while our best and final offer was pretty awesome, it is Marks work with the sellers that set us up as the obvious choice. BTW, there were ten offers. 10! Madness! This is why you hire Mark - he not only helps you navigate a really intense process, he helps the sellers *know* that selecting your offer is right for them. We actually met the sellers agent a few weeks after buying our home, and he specifically mentioned how impressed he had been with Mark!So its probably enough to know that Mark is the guy to find and get you that one-and-only dream house despite a crazy housing market. Being new transplants it took us two years to finally find something we could settle with. Mark had patience with us in our decision, he was never a pushy salesman and just told it as it was. I cannot say enough good words about Justyn and Strub! I relocated to Austin from Seattle in the middle of a pandemic and I absolutely couldnt have done it without him! After being disappointed with my first realtor and not really jivving with my friends referrals, I did a round of interviews with realtor firms. Strub connected me with Justyn, and he impressed me with is knowledge, energy, and specialty in relocations. I decided to go with him, and couldnt be happier with my decision. First, he took the time to really get to know me and my preferences. From the beginning I felt like I had a partner who really cared. Second, Justyn works incredibly hard and he knows exactly the questions/concerns/needs that long-distance shoppers have. I think he might be psychic because he would often reach out with answers before I could even ask the question. As soon as I expressed any interest in a house, Justyn was on it. And the best part for you long-distance shoppers - he takes walk-through videos of homes so you almost feel like you are there. The market was incredibly competitive with limited inventory when I was shopping, and with Justyns expertise, we put together a winning offer that I felt good about. But it doesnt stop there with Justyn. My house sat empty for quite awhile before I could move, and he went above and beyond, regularly stopping by to make sure all was in order. During the horrible storm in February, he turned my faucets to drip (and eventually worked with my neighbors to turn off my water) to ensure my pipes didnt burst. Last, but certainly not least, Justyn is a friendly, warm person and was a joy to work with. Seriously go with Justyn. He is the best!

Mark is awesome. I just sold my house and he was my agent. I know the market right now for selling is great in Austin, but Mark made the process even easier and overall I felt comfortable and trusted him to give me good advice on moving forward. I definitely didnt want to go with my agent that I bought my house with. He was late all the time, didnt listen to what I was looking for, and I did all the work. Mark on the other hand completely turned my experience around.There are a few things I really appreciated about Mark:- great energy and works tirelessly. I also felt like he put himself in my shoes and was patient and talked me through a lot of my concerns (Im a first time seller).- He was my feet on the ground. I sold my house in Austin but I live in NYC now. Mark had to go to my house and do errands, pick up stuff, let me know what needed fixing cleaning, etc. He never complained, dropped the ball, or left anything unfinished.- Mark was confident in his negotiations but didnt come across pushy or negative. It was important to me to get the highest bid on the house that I could but I also didnt want to have a bully for an agent. Mark is kind and knowledgeable and not a pushover.- There was a lot of work and negotiating, managing multiple offers, and also working with me while Ive been in NY. I didnt hear about any of that stuff, though. Mark just took care of everything. Of course he told me about the multiple offers and helped me wade through that but I didnt hear about the extra work that goes on. Also, I really appreciated that Mark didnt tell me about any of the negative comments that might have come in about my house from potential buyers. That might be due to how good the market is right now, but still, I loved my house and I liked only hearing the good stuff. He dealt with stuff for me that didnt affect the ultimate sale of the house, which I appreciated.- Communication didnt stop after the sale. Hes giving me advice regarding the market and choosing an agent in NYC.I know Mark because I served on a board of directors with him for the Austin Youth Hostel. I didnt get a chance to know him well, though. But my brief interactions with him, and knowing his background as to why the hostel was important to him, I knew right away that I wanted him as my agent. He is seriously a good guy and he has a special connection with people. I only wish I had known him when I was purchasing my house in the first place.

I found Rosie as a leasing agent and she guided me through finding a house to rent in Austin. However, I had so much trouble finding a place to rent (I think having a large dog was a deterrent to getting places), that Rosie gently recommended that I might consider buying a place. I had great credit and some money saved, and she explained how there were places in my budget where Id be paying the same amount for my mortgage and insurance every month as Id be paying for the same houses I was looking to rent. In the Spring, we learned that our family of 4 would be moving to Austin from the San Francisco Bay Area with my husbands company. We interviewed a few realtors in the area, and clicked the most with Mark Strub. Hes very well versed in all areas of Austin and genuinely seemed interested in learning about us to know more about what neighborhoods would be a good fit for our family. We had one long weekend to explore homes (Memorial Day weekend) and with just 3 weeks notice, Mark cleared his schedule on that holiday weekend to spend the bulk of it with us. Even when closing got dicey due to some inspections that werent being completed in a timely manner from the sellers side, he was on top of it, making the right calls and getting the right people aware of what was needed to close on time. He was always responsive via phone/email/text to any questions we had along the way and was just all around great to work with. He specializes in relocations and was able to work along side our relocation company (which requires a whole other set of paperwork and nuances) without any issues. We are so thankful to have worked with him and would recommend him and his team! When I walked through the house for the first time (after closing), I just kept thinking they nailed it. Our agent Patrick Sarb came to our first meeting with a preliminary write up on our home and the homes in our area along with information about all the services Strub offers their customers. The work he put in before even meeting with us was impressive. We found out that included with signing with Strub, is a meeting with a stager who will help advise you on how best to showcase your home and when you are finally ready an amazing photographer will provide the photos. Patrick walked us through several comps in the area and showed us what other houses around us look like when they go up for sale. Patrick helped us create a to do list based on what we hoped to accomplish, he helped us shop for a few pieces for staging, and he met with us regularly to talk us through where we were and how best to get where we were going. When we put our house on the market, we had three offers over asking price by the end of the first weekend and that was undoubtedly all due to Patricks advice, encouragement, and support. We could not have sold our home without him and we definitely made more money than we would have with a less invested agent. Stub creates a professional portfolio for your home that cannot be beat. I highly recommend this company and Patrick Sarb as an agent.

Long story short, it is around 40 days later and I closed on the house today. Pat was exceedingly helpful and let me pester him with tons of random questions. I honestly cant say enough about Mark and his team!!!My husband and I are recent transpants from California, and when we first stating looking around we had no idea where to start or what we really wanted out of an Austin home.... We didnt know if we wanted a big house in the burbs, a bungalow right in the middle of it all, or a bunch of land to build on... we had really had no idea. Mark helped us sort through it all by asking all the right questions and steering our search in the right direction until we ultimately fell for what we now (with bias of course) think is one of the best neighborhoods in Austin. The first day we went out with Mark and Jordan we could tell right away that we were in good hands. Mark is a bottomless pit of knowledge on anything Austin, but was equally helpful when it came to renovation questions, city and neighborhood regulations, and so on and so on. If there was ever anything he didnt know (which in our case rarely happened) he found out and followed up with us on it right away.You can also tell that Mark has a really good reputation around the community; which proved to be very helpful when we needed to get into see something same day that wasnt scheduled, or needed a contractor to meet us at a house for an opinion last minute. We never felt like we were left hanging or like there were things we wanted to see that we didnt get to because of him. His bandwidth is impressive to say the least, he is always on top of it. Due to his reputation, I have to imagine that he was busy working many other clients at the same time as us, but if he was, we certainly couldnt tell.I am positive that if you work with anyone on the Strub team you will end up with a great house, in an area that fits, and even with a couple of new friends... I know we did =)

There were a lot of emotions connected to this sell, so I wanted to be sure that I had the best person on the case. I actually wound up letting my first realtor go after reaching out to Mark Strüb of Strüb Residential. He was confident and familiar with the area, and he saw the potential in my home that I saw. He didnt bat an eye when we wanted to list for over $100k of what I purchased for two and a half years prior.The experience of working with Mark and his team was like none other. They made it so simple, and were available for every question that I had, no matter how big or small. They add extra-special touches like putting together an informational binder full of fun details for potential buyers to look at during showings.He also brought in a professional home stager, to advise on how to prep and de-clutter the home before the photos and the listing. I know that this made a significant impact on the sale!The first offer that we received was your typical low-ball offer and I probably would have written it off, but Mark helped advise me on how to proceed, and held-my-hand through the entire negotiation process. Long story short, they wound up being THE buyer, and came up with a much better final number. I know that I would not have made the profit on this house that I did, without Mark and his teams assistance.I can only assume that between his family, running a business, and additional clients, that his calendar is quite full, but I NEVER felt ignored or left hanging. I was immediately impressed with his quick response to my calls and emails and found him to be a good fit for our family. He was ready to hit the ground running once we got here, and we had put an offer on a house within a week of being here. My wife and I recently purchased our first home, and had an amazing experience with Stewart Lane at Strub Residential. I talked to Mark Strub first and told him we were looking for an inexpensive condo. Mark immediately connected us with Stewart, and we had our own MLS search page set up within the hour.A few days later we went out to look at our first condos together with Stewart, and our car died on us along the way. Stewart was kind enough to drive us around in his car, and did a fantastic job of showing us the places we were interested in. Afterwards he offered to drive us all the way home to Leander. We could already tell at that point we were in good hands.As first time homebuyers, we had a LOT of questions. About EVERYTHING. And Stewart patiently and thoroughly answered every single one of our questions. On the rare occasions he didnt have an answer for us immediately, he would always follow up later that day, and with lots of details. He was extremely proactive with all of his communication.Stewart also went out of his way to be available anytime we wanted to look at places, weekday or weekend, day or night. And he was always able to accommodate my busy schedule. Once we narrowed down our search to a particular community, he scheduled for us to see all available units in the complex, and we spent most of an afternoon looking at six different units and walking around the community. He gave us all the details on each unit, and never rushed us through any of them. He took careful notes of any problems with each one, just in case we decided to make an offer on one of them.Once we selected our unit, Stewart was incredibly helpful in bargaining with the seller and getting us to a price we were comfortable with. And once our offer was accepted, he took care of EVERYTHING, from setting up the inspection to running checks to title to helping us push up our closing date. At our closing he presented us with a professionally made binder with a copy of our contract, our settlement statement, other relevant documents, and even a form to apply for a homestead exemption. He also gave us a really nice bottle of champagne to celebrate our new home.Two months after moving, my wife and I are loving our new home. But we still have lots of questions about being new homeowners, and Stewart has continued to answer our questions just as quick and thoroughly as before our purchase. Property values in the area had gone up and a lot of our neighbors had sold their houses, and done some renovations and etc. We had a very specific budget we wanted to meet and it was important to us that we not overspend on renovating and not get results.Stewart was there right off to answer all of our questions. He gave us really solid advice on what to work on, and what to skip. He came out to check out our progress and handled everything so that all we needed to worry about was the remodel.When we needed a paint person, a tile person, a cleanup person and all that stuff, we checked out the people Stewart recommended and they all worked out great. They did the work, at budget and on time and did really high quality work.After open houses and when other realtors came by, Stewart gave us feedback and helped us really fine tune what we needed to change. Stewart’s knowledge of the market and vast experience made his estimates very accurate, so we spent what we wanted to spend and sold the house for what we wanted to get, and best of all it happened in the timeframe Stewart had given us. That kind of experience is really hard to come by and we’ve had experiences, both residential and commercial over the years, with other realtors and we’ve never had as good an experience as we did with Stewart.It’s been almost a year since then (I’m so late writing this review Stewart, I’m sorry!) but the time is sometimes good for reflection, and honestly we’re still 110% pleased with how smoothly things went.10/5 stars!

When I called, I answered a few questions about my family and our home needs so that they could match us with the ideal realtor. They very swiftly connected us with Ashley, whose expertise in our area of interest, as well as with family homes, was perfect for our needs.She immediately set up a private walk-through of the house we so loved, and we asked her to be as critical as possible. We told her We know why we love this house, so please tell us all the negatives. We really need to know what wed be getting into if we made an offer. This was where we really saw Ashleys expert eye. She pointed out things we would never have noticed, voiced concerns but told us what the solutions might be, recommended questions we should ask the sellers, and gave us the best critical feedback we could have imagined. We saw probably about 20-30 homes and re-saw 5 homes. Despite our indecisions at times she helped us get into a home in a perfect location.
