We were one of the first clients to sign a contract at Stewartβs Ranch in January. We purchased a property that would be completed in May. We were excited and looking forward to moving. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer but we were told she would have a relatively minor surgery. Unfortunately, she had to have a double mastectomy and chemo that would last into June. We pushed back the move in time to June. However, she has not reacted to the chemo well and has been in the hospital for extended periods of time. We decided that it was going to be impossible for us to move. We canceled our contract due to a hardship. I have asked to have a portion of our escrow returned to s due to the circumstances beyond our control. I was told about a month ag.o that they would consider. I have heard nothing from them since. This lack of empathy regarding this situation is shameful. Brittany was very helpful throughout but the corporation only appears to care about anything except selling the next property. I am updating this review because of the effort that Brittany and he manager put forth for this request. Brittany let me know today that they were able to get this request approved for us. I cannot thank them enough. Once all this has passed we will definitely look to return. -
