    First I want to say THANK YOU to James Forehand!! He was such a great guy and so easy to talk with. We went out to look at the property at Winan”s Creek with no expectations of buying that day, and my husband is not a real sociable guy. We walked in to the office and all the guys in there were so welcoming and then James walked up and immediately put Simon at ease with his sense of humor and easy going manner. After talking with us a bit and listening to what we were looking for and the price range we were wanting, he put us in his truck and said off we went. The very first lot we looked at was EXACTLY what we were looking for! We got out and he and Simon took off walking the entire lot (11 acres). When they got back, I took one look at Simon, who had tears in his eyes ,and said this is where I want to be!! James never one time tried to upsell us and was at all times listening to everything that mattered to us .     Purchased land at Sky View Ranch near Hondo TX. Entire experience was fantastic. You go on a tour to help get an idea of how much land your getting and get to see entire lay out of entire surround properties. Company is very veteran friendly. Come on down with your TVLB loan and theyll get you hooked up. Lots of lots even some with pre-existing ranch roads and/or water wells. Davis Pearson was great for us. Come on down and be my neighbor, Ill have the beer/whiskey ready.

    When we were looking for land eight years ago, we had no idea wed end up where we are - in Mico, Texas; a community called Summit Ridge. We happened to see a Southerland ad about land for sale (each lot 2+ acres) outside of San Antonio and decided to come to their opening-event and check it out. We ended up with Zach Brents as our guide. I told him we wanted land that, after we built our house, would have the sunRISE on our front porch, and the sunSET on our back patio - withOUT having to walk outside or to a certain window to see either. Zach looked at all the lots available, determined how and where the sun sets and rises on each lot, and came up with 2 that would work. The first one was too close to a busyish road, so that was out. The second was about a mile in from the front gate, down a lovely, sloping road. We chose it that day and got exactly what we were seeking - a glorious sunrise on our front porch, and an amazing sunset every evening right from our back patio and pool.What I loved most was that Zach was helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. Even his final approach, when it was time for us to declare if we had any interest, he was humorous and charming, saying, I dont have a big sales pitch. But - do you wanna buy it? Like I said, humorous and charming. :)My husbands go-to response when he isnt ready to MAKE a big decision is, Its up to her. Meaning ME; his wife. I usually take his cue and say well think about it. But on THIS day, I turned to Zach and said, Well take it! :) And we havent had a single minute of regret! Our neighborhood has grown dramatically since that first day. Weve made so many good friends in Summit Ridge and have turned our land and home into the oasis wed always dreamed of. Thank you, Zach Brents, for leading us to the perfect piece of land!

    A great place to pick out your dream home. I was never pressed or felt locked into making a decision. They truly did everything possible to help me make a decision that was right for me, not what made them thier highest profit margin.Zach did 3 tours with me and when we finally found the lot I wanted, he still took the time to explain everything in the transition.     Duke spent a lot of time with my family showing us different properties for a few months. At the beginning we found out we needed to save a little more for the down payment, but that never stopped him from showing us everything.     We were happy to find a development that offered the type and location of property that we were looking to buy. Skip Crosby not only took us to the available properties, but he spent the time to show us the land by both driving and walking the property. He also pointed out how a home could be situated to take advantage of the views. Not only did Skip show us the property he also offered introductions to potential financing, closing companies and for one property a method of using our IRA funds to buy the adjoining property. All closing documents were completed using DocuSign so it was quick and seamless. Additionally, after the sale he has continued to offer us advise for builders and software to allow us to walk the borders of the property using a GPS enhanced realtime plotline of each property.

    My wife and I were driving in Hill Country Texas just looking at property we had seen on real estate sites like HAR and Zillow as we planned on building and moving to the area when we retire in a few years, this was just an exploratory trip. Driving past Canyon Creek Preserve on route 37 we called the number on the website and Scott McGill answered, he told us that this property was sold out a few years ago, but wondered if we were looking in other areas. Scott offered to show us other areas when it was convenient for us and we said we could meet that day. Scott sent us information to visit Loma Vista Ranch in Kerrville. We agreed to meet that morning and drove straight there. Scott met us and gave a thorough overview of the property and what was available, he then took us out to review the both Phase 1 and 2, he was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the benefits of each lot and what was possible. We spent a couple of hours with Scott and he went over all the details of what we would need to do if we wanted to purchase, this is the least pressure sales pitch I have ever had the pleasure to be part off. Scott told us to call if we had more questions or needed information. On our drive back to Houston, we talked and decided we did not want to miss out on a particular lot we liked. We put our down payment on the lot during our drive home.
