I was first referred to Ray by my realtor. I was looking for someone to answer questions about building on a lot that I was looking at buying. He met me onsite. He addressed all of my questions and provided a detailed summary of our discussion. He was prompt, thorough, efficient and very professional. I later hired him to design my home. To say that he was patient is an understatement. As a first time home builder, he really took the time to talk me through his renderings. He is very detailed and knowledgeable. My structural engineer even commented on the high quality of his work. I find is attention to detail as well as understanding of construction and building materials to be very impressive. I also appreciate his ability to easily collaborate with my construction team. I highly recommended his services and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Ray did an excellent bathroom remodel in my urban loft condo. He was exceptionally easy to communicate with. He provided clear vision for the project, and then modeled it in renditions for my review. The work is excellent, and Ray and his crew were highly reliable. Rays professionalism is superb. I am pleased to highly recommend!

Ray of Albatross Buikding Contractors was a breeze to work with. Very energetic and knowledgeable about our remodel process. He is very precise and honest. He gives very realistic timelines and keeps to them. They finished major work which included cabinets, painting, flooring, electricals and more. And he personally does a walk-through to make sure every detail is attended to. He worked on my home and office remodel. Very happy with their service.

Ray has done a great job as GC for us twice on small but tricky projects (needed specialist contractors). Retrofit kitchen for larger built-in fridge to precise measurements and fixed our frameless shower (this took some skill). Both were probably too small for his time - think he generally manages development type projects - but he devoted attention to both of ours as if they were larger jobs. Holds his subs to high standards. Anticipates problems and is transparent and fair about potential new costs not in the statement of work. Look forward to working with him again.
