    I recently had the pleasure of buying a lot at Five Points on Bois D’Arc Lake from Lakewood Capitol group. They really made it a fun and easy experience, starting with my first call to the sales person, then arriving on the day of the sale.I have never seen a process go this way where you went out with a sales person, who was very knowledgeable about the property, the developer and the buying process right up through the hollering out the bid into the radio and actually getting the winning offer on my lot! Post the agreement the paperwork process and closing was as easy as can be. The entire team was fantastic and Jessica did a great job on closing and communication on my new lake property!

    We recently had an opportunity to view lake lots at the newest Texas Reservoir Bois DArc (pronounced bowdark). The event was organized by Lakewood Capital Group at the lake community, The Harbor at Five Points. The development had stunning views, clubhouse, and was done really well. Our tour went so well that we ended up purchasing a lot and are very excited about its value/potential. They communicated throughout the whole process and our experience overall was a 10.     Excellent experience with this group. We went to the event at Bois dArc Lake not sure what to expect or if we were even going to buy.The event itself was very well done.     Lakewood made purchasing property certainly fun and entertaining-beyond what was expected-with BBQ , Live Music and about 300 sales reps flown in from TN to TX. I only wish I had been able to get in earlier than my 2pm time or been on a pre-sale alert list for future acquisitions, but overall satisfied -obtained a WaterView Lot 3/4 acre. The poolhouse with infiniity edge pool at CCL is impressive and the sales team did a great job -pinpointing exactly what I was looking for in a short amount of time.

    Blessed to own a piece of land in Texas and thanks to LakeWood Capitol group to make it happen. We bought a 2.6 Acre land at Five Points by Bois D’Arc Lake. Though this is still under development I have seen their work in Magnolia lakes and Peninsula projects and it is quite impressive. The whole buying and closing has been smooth.     Extremely polite and professional people at this land buying event. As others have noted a bit chaotic but with something of this size compacted into a small time window it is to be expected. They served us good Texas Style BBQ, plenty of water and ice cream. In about 3 hours most lots were sold, but we still got a large lakefront. Of course these were on the higher end and more than we budgeted, but we believe it is a good value. (time will tell) No complaints so if you are interested in an event like this Lakewood has got to be at the top of the list! Good experience.

    This was the most unusual thing I believe I have been involved in! It was extremely fast paced , we picked a lot with no time to change our mind or risk losing it! Which saved on days and weeks of stress on a regular purchase of land!!! But you leave thinking what did we just do!!!!! And for 30 days you keep thinking are we nuts ( because you don’t have access to entrance code until you close , you can’t go and ponder on what you are in the process of buying , all you have is memory of the one day!) So as we send our info and money the day comes and your banks appraisal comes in and it is more than what you paid for it and you can finally breath!!!!!     We first encountered Lakewood Properties about a year and a half ago when we toured their property on Cedar Creek Lake. Ron Beck was the sales rep that showed us around, and we immediately formed a bond when we discovered the common ground we had with our connections to Texas A&M. Unfortunately, nearly all of the lots had already been sold by the time we arrived. Ron took our contact information and promised to reach out when they opened other properties. About three months ago, we received notice that they were opening Richland Park on Richland-Chambers Lake, and they set us an early appointment to view those lots. Ron had come in for this showing as well, and made sure that he got to work with us again. We immediately found a lot that we wanted, and Ron worked his tail off to make sure we got our claim in first. We made a down payment, filled out all the paperwork, and the process was begun. A few days later, we were contacted by Jessica Webber, and she presented us with multiple options for lenders. She was very helpful in sending us info for each, and the mathematical breakdown for each one. We chose the one to work with, and Jessica put us in contact with the lenders representative AND the title company representative to get the ball rolling. She was accessible every step of the way, and talked us through the questions we had, until we finally closed LAST WEEK! We have already been down to visit our new lot and start making plans to build. I know that Lakewood will be just as helpful in referring us to builders and contractors. We are looking forward to a continuing relationship with Lakewood until we move in to our retirement homestead.

    I am pleased with my property purchased in Huntingdon, TN. A person needs to be well prepared and ready to purchase on the sale day. The lots were sold very quickly. The sale day is very well presented and organized. There was only one lot that was available at advertised flyer rate. Most of the others were quite a bit more, but reasonable based on size of lot and availability of lots like these. The common area is nice and paved roads nice. The reason for 4 stars versus 5, is that I am still waiting on all of the utilities to be installed, so time will tell if there are concerns getting what was promised in a timely manner. The Group has done a nice job answering a few questions I have emailed them. All in all a great experience.

    We stopped by the highland park development a month ago on a rainy day. Luckily it stooped raining as we went through the front gate. BJ Daniel was our guide/salesman, a heck of a nice guy from Knoxville Tennessee. We didnt plan on buying a lot, just looking. Because we have a lot in Hiawassee GA. we planed to build on. BJ took us around to look at a few lots, we went into the new section called the meadows and really liked one of the lots in that section. Well of course all the lots in that section were all sold, quit a few on that day, some kind of tent sell they had going on. BJ took us to look at the club house , pool and docks on the lake. he took us back to our car, but gave us the gate code , just in case we wanted to look a little more. Well we did go back in and went to the top to look at those lots. We got up to the top and I ended up with a flat tire. By the time I got it changed and was finally ready to leave (7:30 pm)BJ called our cell phone and said one of the lots in the meadows just came back up for sale. We went and looked ( the one we wanted, but hadnt told him) and decided to take it. BJ did all paper work and got us finished up by 9:45 that night. We already sold the property in Hiawassee and plan to build soon. Jessica handled all our paper work. Thanks for the help.
