My grandfather and Mr. Callender were best friends, and my grandfather, Charlie Jones, helped develope the roads and built two or three of the first A-frames on the lake, along with my uncles laying the gravel roads, surfaced with asphalt. This was waaaaay back in the late 50s, early 60s. My grandparents lived here for a few months while my grandfather and uncles built the new farmhouse. Best memories, great fishing at the spillway, especially when the waters running. Dont know the management now, who they are, but seems to be still operating very well. -

I find peace here on every level. The beauty will often overwhelm me to tears. The sunrises that start the day are motivation for the large array of birds to wake to greet the day to the most beautiful sunsets painted by a higher power completes the dayβs activities often with family and friends gathered around an embered adorned fire which sparks to the heavens make Callender Lake the secret to those blessed enough to live here. A perfect place to enjoy oneβs time in retirement. -

This private lake is the perfect getaway or quiet place to live. The gated community has been around since the 1960s but the community population has grown a lot over the last few years. A great place to relax and slow down the pace. -

My Aunt n Uncle owned land lot there when I was very young and I have so many family memories there. Our Whole Family were in construction and built a beautiful house but unfortunately it was burned down....I would like to find out if there are weekend rentals available or iI they still own their lot ....I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A WEEKEND OF FAMILY MEMORIES -

Callender Lake is a Beautiful Spring Fed Lake. It is a Gated Community & Offers Covered Fishing Pier, Swimming Area, Nice Boat Launch, Many Committees for Home Owners to Apply to be a Part of. Ive been a part of this Lake Experience for over 48yrs. There is a Kids Park w/ A Large Red Rocket Slide (In need of Repair, but where myself & baby brother once played for hours on the Various Swings. Merry Go Round & HorseSwings, it is in Need of some TLC and Im sure this will become a Committee Id Love to Help & Be part of. The Bathrooms for ens Convince of use. Which were Very Nice Mens/Boys & Ladies/Girls Seperate Facilities have been torn down, being destroyed years ago by Unknown Persons. Well, those as well as the 4+ Standing Grills for Public Use, which met the same demise, Will Hopefully be able to Replace for Future Generations to, Enjoy with Their Children Playing as the Food is prepared on the Grills. I Truly Love this Lake and the Wonderful Memories I have. -
