    My wife and I were so lucky to have Keitha Culpepper as our Realtor when we were buying our first home. We just got married, and with our first kid on the way, we were pretty overwhelmed, but Keitha made it all feel doable. She really got what we needed not just a house, but a place for our family to grow. You could tell she wasn’t just in it to make a sale; she actually cared about us.Keitha was awesome about working around our crazy schedule. With my wife and I juggling jobs and baby prep, she always found a way to meet us when it worked for us. She listened to what we wanted, gave us solid advice, and pushed hard to get us the house we had our hearts set on. While that house didnt work out, she went on to dedicate her time to helping us find and secure a property in a short time frame.     As potential first-time home owners, we had casually been going to open houses for a few months to get a feel for different neighborhoods and the real estate market in general. We knew the process would be too difficult to navigate on our own and would eventually need a realtor to help guide us. Part of our goal for attending open houses was to potentially find such a realtor – but no one was quite right.One day, we got the times wrong on an open house and showed up on a cold rainy day 5min before the open house ended. Keitha was the realtor on duty and it didn’t matter that her day was about to end in a few minutes – she treated us as if we were the first visitors of the day. She told us to take our time looking at the property. Afterwards, when she learned we first time buyers, she shared a lot of useful insights we weren’t aware of. She stayed 30min after she was supposed to wrap up – but never rushed us and maintained a very positive demeanor throughout. My husband and I left that open house and realized we found our realtor. She just exuded warmth and professionalism. We knew we’d be in good hands with her and we weren’t wrong.From the very beginning Keitha took the time to listen to us with regards to what we were looking for and also our many concerns. She offered wonderful guidance and support. She was always immediately available and would also proactively reach out to check on us and keep us updated. My husband and I had conflicting interests – he wanted a new-build, I hated their cookie-cutter feel. He wanted a safe, more rural area. I longed to be in a walkable area with character and lots of small businesses easily accessible within a few miles.After busy weekends shlepping around everywhere within a 30mi radius of Austin – using each open house to fully hone in on not only what we wanted, but what we needed – she found our match. And I cannot stress enough the importance of her listening skills. She adjusted her search to us versus trying to make us fit into an unsuitable property. She was truly interested in getting to know us on a personal level – not merely as clients.Then we offered her another challenge. A month prior to our closing date, my husband was laid off. We could still make things work, but knew that this would now complicate matters with the mortgage company. She kept us calm and did all the leg work figuring out what needed to happen to keep our dream alive.In short, Keitha was amazing to work with. She was patient, supportive, thoughtful, genuinely excited for us when the occasion warranted, and a calming force when things got complicated. She is truly passionate about building relationships and making folks happy. That’s something that can’t be taught. I cannot recommend her services enough – especially when it comes to something as important as buying a house. We feel fortunate she came into our lives and I guarantee you will too!

Buying a home, inclusive of the sales contract, loan process, construction reviews, etc. is often stressful, and we encountered all of it. But we did it and are the happier for it!
