Im really confused by all the negative reviews on this site. The landlords have been amazing since we moved in. Weve had a couple problems with the house, and someone has been there to fix it crazy fast every time. One time we called about the dryer acting up. Mike was there within a couple hours.Theyre also really good at telling us when theres going to be a tour. Its not always 24 hours in advance but its usually at least 12 hours. Enough time to straighten up and get out comfortably.One time we were late on rent too and they were super flexible and forgiving. Every time Ive talked to them theyre nice and easy to talk to. Great landlords. Give them a chance.

I lived in their apartments on center st (above blooming grounds) for 2 years. Mike and Michelle are honest folks. They didn’t try to steal my deposit, which already puts them above half the other landlords in Winona. When things broke, they got fixed with no questions asked. The negative reviews are about them dragging their feet, but it’s because they’re running the company with just 2 people. That being said, they will try their best to do right by you. Nice people. They have some great funny stories about their nieces and nephews. I moved out of state, but I recommended them to some underclassmen still at WSU looking for a place to live.

I rented a home from them. Only significant issue I had was the furnace broke down and they ordered a part for it. They told me it wasnt going to arrive for 2-3 days. The price of a couple space heaters was taken off my rent. A nice little renovated place that was perfect for me. I enjoyed my time there. Id go to them again.

Mike and Michelle are awesome folks Ive rented from for almost 3 years now. You get what you pay for. They take the conditions of the apartment into consideration when letting you know how much it all costs, and if anything, youre getting more than your moneys worth.Sometimes they have issues attending every problem, but they always answer and will work with you to fix the problem. Sometimes the problem needs to be solved while no one lives there (so a renter wont see it fixed that lease), leaving some people upset they cant perform instantaneous miracles.Point of fact, if youre happy with your rental or utility, you dont post about it (hence the low scores here), God knows I didnt for a couple years.Dont be afraid to go to them and ask for a tour for an apartment when renting season comes around!

I have extremely enjoyed renting from Mike and Michelle over the past 2 years. They have been friendly, helpful, and responsive to anything I needed. I would definitely recommend renting from them.
