Loved our stay. Cute. Cozy. Super clean. We loved the rooftop views with deer everywhere. Peaceful and relaxing. Close to everything but feels secluded. Host had great communication, so check-in was quick and easy. Its worth the stay. -

Loved staying here! The location was amazing and just far enough out to get the country feel, but not too far from town when we wanted to go do things! It was clean and the hosts were very helpful with anything we had! AND the views were stunning! -

What a great accommodation for our one night stay! It was nicely decorated and turned out to be great place to snuggle when the temps dipped into the low 20s F. Maybe we will get to enjoy a starry night from the roof top deck on another visit. -

We had a great time here. Loved the property. Everyone was so kind. Very clean. Loved that there were so many towels and toiletry items provided. Hot tub was amazing. Would return! -

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Texas Longhorn-Luxury, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and pampered in this charming retreat nestled in the heart of Fredericksburg. The property is stunningly designed with a perfect balance of modern luxury and Texas charm. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the upscale furnishings to the cozy touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The spacious layout was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in.One of the highlights was the outdoor area. The serene views of the surrounding countryside and the beautifully maintained grounds made for the perfect backdrop to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The location is unbeatable—just a short drive from the heart of Fredericksburg, with its fantastic wineries, boutiques, and restaurants. Yet, the property feels wonderfully private and tranquil, offering the best of both worlds. The hosts were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. It’s clear they take great pride in providing a top-notch experience for their guests.I can’t recommend The Texas Longhorn-Luxury enough for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing, luxurious getaway in Fredericksburg. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family trip, or a weekend with friends, this place truly has it all. We can’t wait to return!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) -

We truly had a relaxed stay. Sometimes, simplicity is the key to a peaceful experience. A clean and cozy environment will make all the difference. Im glad we were able to find a place that provided us with that kind of comfort there in Alpine, TX. -
Review 7 (2024-09-21 - Rating: 5)
The air conditioning unit functioned exceptionally well. Although the bed was not mine, I found it to be quite comfortable for a nights rest. I particularly enjoyed the nighttime view from the rooftop of the room. However, I would have preferred the ability to dim or turn off the lights in order to better enjoy the stars. -

Great first Air BnB experience! As the days grew closer to the trip, messages were sent out accordingly with all instructions; from how to get there to access code and finding the correct building. The house was clean, warm, inviting, with great interior design; small and cozy. Both Kenneth and Lindseys response time was quick with clear instructions. Photos matched the property so everything was expected. The Air BnB included any and all houseware/kitchenware essentials. Nothing was ever missing. Extra blankets, towels, and toiletries were also included and easy to find. The beanbag and hidden TV were the biggest surprises!Host checked-in to make sure I was safe and taken care of without ever being too intrusive. All in all, great first experience. Highly recommend booking with them. Would love to stay here again! -

The most amazing and quaint place. I’m working in Dallas and thought I could use a weekend away from the hotel. The Hosts have created a darling getaway with wonderful decorating. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Couldn’t believe I spent 2 nights in a Storage Container. Much better than many of the hotels I stay in. -

Review 12 (2025-03-02 - Rating: 5)
Clean, cozy, quiet, comfortable tiny home near good restaurants, shops, and coffee/chocolate places. Convenient to sites in Waco. Responsive and proactive hosts. -
Review 13 (2024-08-25 - Rating: 5)
We stayed in one of their Waco VRBO homes and had a great time! They checked in on us and were incredibly responsive to any message we sent. Check in and check out was almost too easy! Love the check out process! Unlike other places, the check out list was just things you’d do before you left your own house, turn everything off, take out the trash, and lock the doors. I love that they didn’t give a huge laundry list with a huge cleaning fee like other rentals.Bathroom had everything we forgot - makeup remover to Q-tips.We will definitely use one of their rentals again! -

Highly recommend- also our view was stunning , overlooking a pretty knoll with horses! Nice Keurig coffee machine, fridge, beautiful bathroom, and all the utensils and kitchenware you need. Overall a lovely and relaxing stay 🦋 -

We had a wonderful time staying at Villastay. The converted shipping containers are really fun and well done. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The shower was very nice and spacious for the size of the home. We also loved that it was walking distance to all the amenities at Homestead Heritage. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. Very easy check in and felt very private and safe. We will most definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay! -
Review 16 (2024-08-25 - Rating: 5)
This tiny home was in a beautiful area of Waco, nestled in the trees. The home wowed me and my wife with it’s simple and efficient farmhouse design. It was clean, and had all of the nice touches you appreciate when you stay in a bnb away from home. Will stay here again if we’re in the area! -
Review 17 (2024-08-15 - Rating: 5)
Adorable container tiny home! Bed was cozy and towels soft. The space was just enough for us for our trip to visit the Waco area. Hosts were prompt and super clear with directions. We enjoyed our stay. -
Review 18 (2024-05-19 - Rating: 5)
Staying in Fredericksburg in a converted shipping container was a great experience. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed with everything about it. Extremely clean, well laid out, fantastic use of space, first rate materials used throughout. It was all brand new. Not a spec of dust anywhere. The bed was very comfortable. The property managers were on site and great. Very helpful and friendly. We stayed in two different containers there. One 20 ft and one 40 ft. Loved them both. They had a very open feeling with big windows, glass doors. The rooftop decks were a nice addition. Location was close to the city but out in the country. Lots of deer. Will definitely come back. -

We spent 2 nights here for our 5th year anniversary and honestly we just needed some time away from kids. BUT this place made it a weekend to remember! The space was so nice, clean, tucked away, the stay was as close to perfect as you can get. I would definitely stay here again if I wanted a romantic getaway in Waco again. Everything felt well made and well thought out. Very great spot to stay! -

We had the best time in the container home. We were able to watch the deer out in the field while on top of the roof, which was my favorite. -
Review 23 (2024-06-28 - Rating: 5)
I stayed at the Tasman Cabin just down the road at Nicole Creek Cabin and RV park. Great location and great little cabins! Villastay is always great with communication and very timely. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay. It’s far enough outside of Waco where it’s laid back but close enough for quick drives to all Waco has to offer. -
Review 24 (2024-06-03 - Rating: 5)
This tiny home is rural but close to Fredericksburg. The space is cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed the rooftop deck and watching wildlife in the evening. The host was very helpful and everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this stay. -

Staying at Villa Stay Container Home was an absolute delight! The container home was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldnt have been better, with easy access to town and Marfa Lights Viewing Center. The rooftop was wonderful for hanging out and star gazing. Kenneth and Jessica were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We cant wait to come back and stay here again! -
Review 26 (2024-04-19 - Rating: 5)
We did have a buzz coming from the vent above the shower when we got there at 10 pm, texted to let them know about and they moved us to another unit. Clean, comfortable. Great costumer service and willingness to help however. Good location just outside of the hustle and bustle of Waco. Overall great experience. Will definitely be planning another stay. -

Review 29 (2024-08-06 - Rating: 5)
This was cute a cute place to stay!! These are storage container homes, but in very nice condition. Homey, cute, and fuctional. They have dishes and silverware to use, there are some tolietry items already stocked (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, make up remover wipes, hair dryer, toothbrush kit), they have purified water in the mini fridge (does have a small freezer as well that has ice trays), and a coffee machine with k cups and Creamer and sugar. Hulu is already on the TV. It is also within walking distance of the General store, Waco Waffle Co., the Market, a cheese store! And other places too. There were horses you could see behind the homes (fenced in). I also would see the cleaning crew come by and spemd a good time making sure the place was clean before the next tendants arrived, and there would be someone to come inspect the cleaned home before anyone actually did come spend the night. I personally do not drive, and i stayed here for a few nights and we were comfortable and happy with what surrounded us, that we didnt have the need to want to leave this area to go do something or somewhere else during the days. -

In summary, this tiny home was more than a place to rest; it was an enchanting escape. If you seek solace, simplicity, and a touch of magic, I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing this tiny home. As I reluctantly packed my bags, because I had to depart sooner than expected,I knew I’d carry its charm with me forever. -

Traveled from Northern California for the weekend to see my daughter who goes to college in Waco and this was the Best of the best! I loved the support we got from the minute we booked, the unit I wanted was not available so they offered me a discount for another unit. The owners replied to me within minutes of every ridiculous question I had and with so much grace! I wish we could have stayed longer!!!! -

Review 45 (2023-07-21 - Rating: 5)
I stayed in The Merlot Container Home this past week and I loved my experience! I was a little unsure because I have never stayed in a container home, but it was much more pleasant than a hotel. This was my first time ever in Waco and I had no trouble finding the location. The container park had picnic tables and a grill outside which was nice. The container itself was great as well. It was so cozy and beautifully decorated. The hosts literally thought of everything and I really appreciated all of the small details they put into it, such as the throw blankets with different textures to please everyones tastes. I have chronic pain so I always get weary about sleeping on a new bed when I travel for work. But the bed felt like I was sleeping on an actual cloud. Everything in the container felt clean and up to date. There were people staying next to me but I never heard them, so you dont need to worry about that. Some things I noticed - I live in Austin and we are unable to get cold water at my apartment due to the heat. The water at the container had no issue getting cold when I wanted it to. Also, I was happily surprised that the AC worked very efficiently and cooled down quickly. The hosts were great! They checked in on me each night to make sure everything was okay. I felt safe in the container too which is important for a solo female traveler. I will be traveling to Waco regularly and plan to stay here each time I return! -

Review 49 (2023-07-08 - Rating: 5)
Quiet, quaint, cozy location just on the outskirts of town. Located out a little past Homestead Heritage (which is a neat place to go see). You enter into a gated farm site entrance and the beautiful container home is on the right. There is also a rental cottage on the property, an RV site and they are building two additional properties that I am assuming will be for rent. The place looks just like the pictures. We had one small issue come up and the management was very responsive in trying to find a solution. -

Villastays is our go-to rental when we’re close to Waco. They provide clean, comfortable places and a variety of places to choose from, tiny containers, cabins with kitchenette, houses with kitchens. The check-in and check-out is seamless. They provide streaming service and we don’t have to have our own streaming service, which is appreciated. -
