    I recently had the pleasure of having Edwin, a maintenance professional, attend to an issue with my dishwasher. Right from the start, Edwin impressed me with his punctuality, arriving exactly at the agreed-upon time. His professional demeanor and friendly approach immediately put me at ease.The most remarkable aspect of Edwins service was his technical expertise. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher, which had been a persistent annoyance for some time. His explanation of the issue was clear and understandable, even to someone with limited knowledge of appliances like myself. This level of communication is rare and highly appreciated.Edwins efficiency in fixing the problem was nothing short of amazing. He worked swiftly and methodically, ensuring that everything was functioning perfectly before he considered his job done. The area was left clean and tidy, reflecting his respect for my home.I was also impressed by the range of tools and spare parts he had on hand, which meant that there was no need for a return visit! Edwin is a badass.

    I needed a single-bedroom apartment fast and 1509 was one of the top choices regarding both price and the condition of the apartment itself. There were minor issues upon moving in but all issues were fixed immediately by maintenance which I greatly appreciate. If you are looking for a single bedroom, Martino Group is the way to go!

    Martino group was very nice and friendly through out the entire process of looking for an apartment. Cindy was available to meet anytime and showed me several apartments. She was available by phone quickly and always friendly. Abigail (in the Martino group office) was quick to reply to emails and phone calls as well. She was always friendly and patient with my questions. These ladies made finding an apartment easy and hassle free!!

She done all of the legwork finding an apartment within my daughters budget and meeting her specific needs.     This is a review of a maintenance call about the front door key sticking in the lock. Edwin showed up promptly and was nice and professional. He replaced the lock and even made it so I could use my old keys with the new lock. Thanks Edwin!

    I have been with this management group since 2015 at 2 locations from an apartment to an duplex home. Recently my toilet was leaking when earlier that day, Tom of maintenance was here for an filter inspection. Using their online repair service, Tom called me from work to inform me that he is on his way back. The toilet had to be completely replaced. Even though we had another bathroom, he went that same day to pick up, install and removed all debris carefully before I made it home before work at 6pm. Thank you so much!

    The martino group has the best maintenence team and office staff. The guys from maintenance really get things fixed up when it breaks. Lindsey is always prompt and gets back to you quickly when you put in a work order. Edwin came by last summer when the a.c went out and helped me install my personal a.c. to help cool off my home. Than martino group provided another a.c and Tommy and micheal came by and installed that one. Adrian dropped by the house and put some installation in the attic to reduce the cost of the electric bill. Secovia always takes care of you quickly and efficiently when you when you go into the office to pay rent. Chris and Deborah helped me out when I had to modify my lease. Im happy to say I rent from these guys. :)

    Looking for an apartment that fit my needs was a tall task at the beginning, but The Martino Group made everything very easy and clear-cut. Cindy worked with me for multiple weeks to make sure that I made the right decision. She made multiple properties available to go and tour during times most suitable to me and my unconventional work schedule without hesitation. She also answered all of my questions candidly and informatively, whether it was about a particular unit, the application process, the specifics of my lease, and anything else I had questions about, which was a huge help for me throughout the process. If I had a question, I knew I would get an honest answer from Cindy. Other staff encounters have been just as professional and helpful. The unit itself is very nice. I’ve been here for almost 2 months and have had very little to complain about. Any maintenance repair requests have been completed promptly and without issue. I would highly recommend Cindy and The Martino Group to anybody looking for a great place to live in the downtown Denton area!

    I love all the staff at the Martino Group. Specially Abigail, she was extremely professional and got us approved within 24 hours, i am soooo excited to move in this weekend!! And also i want to thank Roger for showing me my perfect home. He did show me a couple until i saw what i was more comfortable with. Awesome team. If anyone is needing the perfect home please ask for Abigail and i promise you she will do the best she can to fit you in!!!

    Weve lived in the Talon II complex for a little over a year now and have very few complaints. Management has been very accommodating and understanding of our unique needs. For example, my spouse frequently uses a wheelchair due to health challenges - when we asked management about the possibility of getting a disability parking space, they immediately accommodated the request and the sign was up within a few days.That aside, the maintenance workers are always prompt and helpful in our experience, and the actual apartment is comfortable and spacious for our needs. The proximity to UNT campus is also incredible (Im a student and instructor on campus); I can easily walk there within 10-15 minutes depending on which building I need to get to.All in all, were really happy with our time here. Well probably only be in Denton until I graduate, but we really dont feel the need or desire to move anywhere else. The Talon II is perfect for us and what we need right now. Definitely worth checking out if youre looking for something cozy, well-maintained, and close to UNT!

    Cindy was super helpful with helping me find and view several affordable apartment options down by the square and stay within the Martino Group owned apartments! Super patient and accommodating, helping make the right apartment fit! I have lived at EPIC for the past year and loved it, but wanted a square view! :) Abigail was super quick to process my application,friendly to talk to, and welcomed any questions! Both are a pleasure to work with, and I am really looking forward to my new home!

    These apartments are awesome. There is a large variety of restaurants and bars nearby and my favorite pizza place is literally right underneath my unit. The units themselves are very nice as well. I noticed a comment that said describing properties operated by The Martino Group as upscale is laughable... My family has worked in real estate for over 50 years and I myself am following the same career path. Having said that, I must say that I completely disagree with that comment. The Martino Group manages, by far, the nicest apartment complexes in Denton. Look around and see for yourself. Addressing another negative comment, there are plenty of payment options to choose from. Everybody knows when rent is due and should plan accordingly. I pay my rent online every month and it takes me about 2 seconds. If youre interested in one of their properties then contact Cindy, I am confident that she will take care of you as well as she did me.

    My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with the Martino Group. Cindy and Abigail were super patient and quick to answer any questions we had. They helped us from touring an apartment to processing our apartment application in less than 24 hours! Overall it was a quick and smooth experience!

    This was my first experience renting with an off-site property management team, and so far everything has been smooth. Cindy, one of the leasing agents, has been extremely helpful and accessible during the entire process. Normally leasing agents are only interested in getting you on board and then they forget about you after they already have your signature, but Cindy continued to answer my questions and provided me with helpful advice when I had problems via calls and texts. As long as you are an organized and responsible tenant, you will have no issues. The property itself is beautiful and cozy, and I enjoy living here.

    For 3 years Martino Group properties were my home and I had an excellent experience. My first introduction to them and their quality service was my leasing agent Cindy. She’s awesome!!!!! I leaned on her guidance several times over the years and she was always prompt, professional and friendly when she replied. One thing I learned to know about Cindy is that she goes above and beyond and always with a smile!I lived in 2 separate apartment buildings. A one bedroom at H2 and a three bedroom “penthouse” at East End Lofts. I enjoyed both of them and was treated equally well in both. When I moved into East End Lofts it was brand new and they were working out some construction kinks. That is to be expected with new builds! Only 2 times I had an issue and each time Gary came the same day to fix the problem! Super friendly guy and as a single woman living alone I felt safe and comfortable with he and the other contractor he brought in to repair the ac unit.All in all I had a great experience. The buildings are not only in safe, great locations they are beautiful, modern and well thought out. East End Loft was my favorite because I had a roof top patio with my unit and the apartment was beyond gorgeous! I’m thankful Martino Group has raised the bar in Denton for apartment living! Coupled with great customer service they provide an enjoyable, unique living experience. If I ever move back to Denton I wouldn’t hesitate to live in any of their properties and Cindy would be my first call!

Their maintenance when required. Which was very little. Professional and courteous personal in all my dealings. Low to moderate pricing. For all of these reasons. I would recommend them to any and all future tenants. Not really understanding all the negative reviews. Two thumbs up from me!!

    I am very happy with how fast and generous Abigail and Cindy have been during my application process. Abigail is so patient and easy to talk and will walk you through every step of the way.     My dishwasher unexpectedly stopped operating. I notified Management and Maintenance was sent over within a few days. Kevin assessed the problem and informed me of the situation. He also managed my expectations by explaining to me the earliest the part could arrive and also shared how long it would take if he had to wait for the part. Fortunately, the part arrived sooner than later and my dishwasher was operational before the end of the week. I appreciated the fact that Kevin took the time to share with me what was needed for the repair and the expected timeline needed to complete the repair. Great Job! Thank you Kevin! Sharon

    I have lived at two different properties around downtown Denton owned and manged by The Martino Group. I have loved living in both places. It is close to campus and walking distance to places I like to go. The property and apartments are well kept. I have had some maintenance issues and Tommy head of maintenance always comes through and makes sure I am taken care of and things are done right. He is very polite and professional and well spoken. If you have a problem he is the person to call. The people in the office is always helpful as well and eager to assist. I would recommend Martino Group for your next home.

    Cindy McCasland is absolutely amazing! She responded to my initial inquiry in an exceptionally timely manner and listened intently to our needs. She was quick to identify several properties that may be of interest to us. This was great as it allowed us to get a feel for the physical location and preview the property online prior to our set appointment the following afternoon. (Per The Martino Group policy, residents are given 24 hour notice before their inhabited property is shown. We found that other local management companies called a mere 15 minutes before popping in with potential leasers -- these properties did not show well!) Cindy was professional yet personable. It was obvious to us that she cared about the fit and not just the sell. Cindy had excellent follow up, as well. When a property became available that she thought would be of interest, she contacted us and set up a viewing. Even when we decided to pursue a different type of property than what The Martino Group had in its inventory, Cindy continued to help guide us. Overall, our experience was excellent. The Martino Group has BEAUTIFUL properties that are beautifully built and well planned. BUT...Cindy McCasland is the true gem!

    I lived at H Squared for 2.5 years and never had any major issues. The entire leasing process was a breeze. Maintenance was always quick to fix an issue. The rent is a little high for the space, but that was made up for by the aesthetics of the apartment and the five minute walk to the square. Cindy was always willing to answer my (sometimes asinine) questions and I never felt like I was being ignored. I would recommend Martino Group to anybody looking for a place in Denton.

    Came to write a review and started reading a few of these. I really hope people aren’t listening to these negative reviews. They are SO inaccurate! The maintenance staff has always been extremely attentive and Abigail has been very professional and sweet. I’ve been living here for a while now and have NEVER experienced any of this. Sounds a little like people didn’t get their way. Thank you for taking care of my emergency work order I understand that the other request has been placed on hold due to COVID but overall y’all are AMAZING!!!

    Very easy going group! I personally had Cindy McCassland and was very impressed with how well she worked with my family and I, she never complained and was in it to find us what we wanted and needed. I called her on the weekends, late in the afternoon changed my mind multiple times but I makes us stuck to trying to find what we needed! Every property I viewed was very impressive they take a lot of pride in their properties and can tell they take top notch care of them too! We were very impressed and they have made the process very easy for us! We would recommend any serious renter to talk to this group theyre well worth it!

Too, she has been consistent in responding to my request and answering any questions and/or concerns as we have been communicating for the past few days.     The first process of finding an apartment with the Martino Group was messy. The person working with us told us wrong times, always seemed rushed and seemed like we were such a nuisance. She once forgot that we were meeting and another time was about 15 min late. I understand it was summer and probably rush season, but still. I gave it a chance and there was a lot of miscommunication. After that, we didnt work with her enough. The receptionist was also rude sometimes, but I believe she is gone now. HOWEVER, I placed a request and it was fixed quickly. The first guy told us nothing was wrong with it. The second guy emptied our a/c water pan - simple as that. When you put in a request, make sure that you are very detailed, and right after you put it in, give them a call to notify them. ALSO!! If you are getting started, ask if Roger is available to tour you. He is timely, patient, and extremely helpful when you tell him what youre looking for. He is also upfront about the pros and cons of each property. Overall, these properties are wonderful places to live in. Just be sure that you are always on the same page with whoever youre speaking with.

    My boyfriend and I lived at H Squared for two years and loved it. Unbeatable location and trendy, upscale designs in both the one and two bedroom apartments that we rented. Everyone at Martino Group was incredibly helpful and made living here very comfortable. Highly recommend! Extra kudos to Deborah, who got us started when we first moved in and was very accommodating.

    Im currently staying at the East End property. My Martino Group experience has been the least frustrating when compared to other apartment managements in Denton. With that said, there are still cons.Here is what you should expect: additional costs that come up once in a while (just be prepared to pay a little more than what you usually do), maintenance is not responsive, management does not reply/entertain your complaints, they enter your apartment about once every month or so for various checks/pest.Honestly, if you are a good tenant, pay on-time, etc. the Martino Group shouldnt be a problem for you. Their properties are usually quite expensive but that comes with nicer neighbors and a good apartment.Since East End Lofts is near a police station, train station and the Denton jail, we have surprise guests walking through the lawn (our balcony is facing) in the middle of the night. It happens rarely though but just be careful when walking your dog/s late at night. If you live on the first floor with a balcony area, I also wouldnt leave anything outside. Weve had various items stolen from our balcony.

    Hi!I’ve been living at the Hickory Street Lofts for almost a month now, and I am loving it! Cindy is my GAL! I swear, she needs a raise or something because she answers my texts and calls constantly! The only thing that may or may not be the best is the amount I’ve been spending, however, since I’ve had such a great experience so far and the apartment is beautiful/at a great location, I think all-n-all it makes sense for the price. Plan on staying here for a while!

By far the kindest and most professional leasing office in Denton (out of the 5 I have rented with). The apartments are pricey, but nicer than anything else on the market.     Looking for a place to move after a divorce is always tough, but at the Martino Group Courtney and Abigail were such a blessing helping me get another place that I desperately need.     Tanner, your leasing agent at another property recommended I call the main office when I was having trouble finding a place available now. Cindy and Roger were super quick at finding me an apartment at the right price and with everything I needed. I literally had one week to find a place! Moving from another city for a job. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is that I havent seen the apartment yet.

    I cannot speak more highly of Cindy. Due to COVID, I had to cancel a trip to Denton to find an apartment and had to resort to finding a place from afar. Cindy was so responsive and helpful. She sent me pictures and videos of probably 20 different places I was interested in over the course of a month. She never took more than a couple hours to respond and was always willing to answer whatever trivial questions I had. Perhaps most importantly, she never pressured me at all or made me feel bad about taking my time deciding. She was also extremely empathetic with the challenge of choosing a place to live sight unseen. It was just completely night and day from most other realtors I dealt with, both in Denton and elsewhere.I didnt end up renting with The Martino Group, but I wouldnt hesitate to do so in the future. I just cannot believe how helpful and accommodating they were during this process. Im sure they are like that as property managers as well. If this organization (and Cindy especially) havent won an award or been otherwise recognized for how well they do their jobs, they should.

    We’ve been living in one of the apartments under them for a full year and we have no problems. Nothings needed maintenance reported, they have pest control come out every now and then, and as long as you make your monthly payments like any good tenant you’re in their good books.     I am giving this review specifically for the maintenance staff and how helpful they have been. We are renting an older house that has had a lot of issues but whenever we need someone to come out, they are very responsive and timely to the issues we encounter. Very appreciative of them for helping us out so much!

    I lived at one of their properties for 1.5 years. Their complexes are nicer than most in Denton. Rent is a little steep, especially since they dont offer any amenities whatsoever. The only major complaints are the semi-shady way they billed us for water/sewer/trash. Its extremely complicated to make sense of. Also, parking at our complex (712 S Elm) was always bad, no guest parking and the people living in houses on Myrtle hated us using the neighborhood street as extra parking. Other than that The Martino Group staff are decent people.

    I really dont want to write this but I want inform others. If you move to 712 Elm apartments it may be an uphill battle. I read the reviews on here and I too have had problems with bugs and mail and all of that but...whats killing me is the the building quality. When I moved in I was assured I wouldnt hear anyone around me and that the building was well above normal specs.The reality is that I hear everything that happens outside around me and Im not the only one. We can smell cigarette smoke inside our units from neighbors in the hallway on our floor that step out to smoke. This morning I heard one of my upstairs neighbors singing to himself (nothing to loud or crazy). He was slightly embarrassed when we talked later about it. But thats the above normal specs that we got. Most of my building was empty so it had been great and no one noticed these issues obviously. Im going to see if I can switch to a third story or if I have to rough it out here.On a positive note Deborah and Rachel are awesome in the office so there are good people here it seems. If anything changes I will post it. I know I have talked to several people that have read the reviews on here (hence me taking the time to do this).Changing my review because they let me move which is awesome.

    The landscape crew cleaned up my tree that was in my front yard very quickly. The tree was fell into the street after it was struck by lightening. Very grateful that the tree did not fall into my town home. Great Job to the Martino Group for expediting this task.
