    What a great experience living here. Kirbi was amazing and so helpful when I needed it. The maintenance was timely and helpful and I loved how they make sure common grounds are immaculate.. They’re always proactive with updating the areas and overall really happy living there. I lived there for 5 years and moved because I got engaged..

    8/30 update - all elevators working! Pool is also up and running since beginning of summer. Wishlist items - can the ac stay on after hours in the community room? Tried to go go twice at 8pm, and both times felt like 80 there.... other than that, no major complaints. Maintenance staff is still super responsive if tickets are placed appropriately.11/3 update - glad to update that 2 of 3 elevators are back online. However, apartment management has now decided to close the pool till 2024 for remodel and when its all over and done with, the apartment will lose the hot tub. I was really looking forward to be able to use the hottub once the elevators started working..... however leasing staff is still very nice, so will update to 4stars.10/21 Update - while the staff is still very nice, the 3rd and final elevator in the complex is finally out, and now presents a safety issue for my elderly mom staying with us. The other 2 elevators have been inoperable for more than 3 and 10 months respectively, and there should not be any reason why all 3 elevators are out. If anyone knows what my options are, please let me know. If only the elevators are not an issue, this apartment complex has the potential to be 5 stars, but for now I can only give it 3.Original post: The office staff is super responsive and friendly... honestly one of the best staff Ive ever dealt with. Maintenance crew is also great, will respond to service requests within 24 hours.

    Updated Review,After my third month at Grand Upper Kirby I would love to say I’m so happy with my stay here, the leasing team are so great and very helpful when it comes to requests they take serious actions, there was some frustration earlier with the elevator but they fixed it and now it is working good , I had an issues with my appliance and they change it completely with 24hrs which is really appreciated as they are doing the best to make the residents happy, lastly I wanna share that the location is supper and it is on the Southwest Freeway and in the middle of everything and I like the highway view of my apartment 👌💯🌆

    The leasing staff is very friendly, the apartments are pretty safe, you’ll have an occasional noisy neighbor, but it’s nothing major.The biggest problem is the elevators and maintenance requests. When I first moved in July one of the elevators was broken, I never used that one, so I didn’t mind and I had assumed it would have been fixed by now, it’s not.Recently another elevator broke down, okay no big deal things like that take time to fix. It’s been weeks and it’s still broken. I don’t mind taking the stairs sometimes, but I’m on the fifth floor. It’s really tough either having to chose between walking down a few long halls to the nearest elevator, or to go up the stairs with bags of heavy groceries or large packages.My dryer is terrible as well, it’s been checked and apparently there’s nothing wrong with it. It takes 3-4 90 minute cycles on high heat to dry a small load of clothes on low water level. That’s 4+ hours. I don’t bother with it, I bought a clothing rack and hang my clothes to dry.When I first moved in my blinds were broken and to this day I can’t open my bedroom blinds because they were never fixed. I had a few minor repairs and it made me a bit uncomfortable that I had no warning on when the maintenance staff was going to be coming by, even though I made a note to give me a notice, I just came home a couple times and things were changed.I’m not hard to please, I don’t expect ultimate luxury, but these are just basic things.Hopefully improvements are coming because this is a great area and I would love to continue to live here.

    I have had an amazing experience with the entire leasing experience here. I came in on a weekend for some questions and Cinthia was kind enough to take the time out of a jam packed day to give me a tour of the building, and was able to show me the specific layout I wanted to lease. Beginning with the tour, she took the time to discuss the features of the apartment and the new renovations that are in the works. She was also in touch with me throughout my application process and on top of everything I needed. I came in after that to look at some reserved parking/storage and she again took the time to show me around. Throughout the entire leasing process she has been there and not only has assisted me with providing me locations of spaces, proximity to my unit, convenient routes, but also to help me make sure I had everything set for my move from renters insurance, to lights, to even a convenient time for me to pick up keys and have the elevator reserved.The entire process has been seamless and I have to thank her for taking the time to ensure it was a great experience for me!

    We have two saunas in the building. I know many high rises that don’t even have that. I like that the management is strict but also not a pain in the a**. The proximity to everything is really unbelievable. The apartments are nice sizes and they are constantly improving! I had 3 major Maintainance requests and they were all completed within a day.Can’t complain 🤝🏾

    I lived here for 4 years and loved it. Management was probably the best Ive experienced. They really did their best to resolve any issues that came up. They even did great during hurricane Harvey, too. Best part was, the area of town it was in meant it didnt flood. Only a few apartments on the ground floors experienced some water damage. Maintenance was always super nice and responded very fast. When our appliances grew old, they replaced them as needed (ie.our washer and dryer). The place is very dog friendly and the community of dog loving parents was great to interact with. It was nice knowing neighbors and having a sense of community and home. Yes, there were the usual occasional issues, such as some nights requiring a noise complaint, or the occasional car break ins, and broken elevators (some had issues after Harvey), but there are multiple elevators and stair wells and it really wasnt that big of a deal to walk to another one. Management and maintenance was always on it to resolve issues and I knew they would have it handled.

    I lived at Metro Greenway for 2 years and loved it! Started in a 2 bedroom then moved into 1 and both were great spaces. The office staff and maintenancy team were wonderful to work with, kind, and prompt with any requests. I signed my lease originally with Tiffany who was always so nice and super helpful. Its a good area and fairly safe community, and whenever there were issues (a few cars were broken into over the years), management immediately let us know. Stuff happens that you can’t control, but I appreciated their transparency and I felt very safe. They added a dog park and additional guest parking while I lived there which was a huge plus.

    Management has really been brightening up the property over the couple months I’ve lived here , the girls in the office staff have been very friendly and attentive to my needs,I love how we’re also in the area where it’s easy commute to many locations!! Definitely recommend!

    Weve lived in the complex since 2017 and have had a great experience. The maintenance team is just superb, seriously the best, and the repairs are complete the same day or the next day at the latest. Any appliances are fixed or replaced timely. The leasing office is responsive and theyve taken care of us whenever we had any issues, including giving us a credit on all the spoiled food in the fridge when it broke, and without giving us any hassles about it. I also feel like theyve improved significantly since 3 years ago and now run a tight ship.There are constant improvements to the property, the location is great relative to downtown and the Galleria.The walls are kind of thin but I think its pretty much the same across most apt complexes and were not too bothered by it.

    I loved living there. I rented an apartment for 15 months. Staff is incredibly helpful and nice. Maintenance was impeccable, ready to fix any problems that I reported. The events that they organized were very nice. The community is great and the localization even better. My only two complains are first in regards the security of the place which was not a 100%. Nothing ever happened but I could see the possibility of some stranger entering the building and there was one occasion that the outside door was broken and not fast fixed. The second would be the moving ramp reservation organization, I used the ramp 3 times and reserved as informed by the complex policies but, the 3 times another resident was on my spot and nothing happened to the resident that didnt properly reserved the ramp, I needed to wait on the person to finish their move so I could do mine. Besides these two things everything else was perfect!

    Definitely an amazing place to live! The staff are courteous and attentive. They take care issues in the building in a timely manner. The office staff even plans movie nights and parties to get the tenants involved and bring the community together. Not the cheapest place but for the location I’d say it’s fair priced. Now if I can only get them to install a heavy bag in the gym area 🤣Also honorable mention to Philip Arng, Kirby and the Maintanence staff!

    Been living here for 7 months, and Ive liked the experience. I personally think maintenance and staff are great and friendly. Although things may break or lights will burn out in the apartment (as such is life) I put in a maintenance request and they come within a couple of hours. People complain about the garbage being out in the hallway, but the garbage people pick up once a night during a specified time... it really isnt a big deal. There occasionally are stains on the rugs in the hallway, but maintenance does clean them fairly regularly, and will also do so upon request. I feel safe in my apartment, and i personally have never seen a roach in my apartment, which is great, since Ive read horror stories at other apt complexes. Their package system is great downstairs and Ive never worried about losing any mail. Overall, Im happy with my choice to live in MG. People will always find something to complain about.

    I have been living here for 4 months now, great management, very responsive, maintenance is great, they address all our queries very quickly. Only downside(for our family)is that they don’t have a play area for kids. They do some gigs as entertainment very often, they do have dog park (small lane). All in all, we are having a good stay so far. Cheers.

    My whole transition into my unit was smooth and easy , the elevator was right by the locking dock and the office even provided me with extra dolly to use . The manager Kirbi was informative and checked backed that I was all settled . Philip toured me around the property before and after move-in which I found impressive. Over all not a thing to complain about at least so far .So big shout out to the management team

    I have had a pleasant experience living at Metro Greenway. The staff is very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure the residents have what they need. Tiffany, Keith, and Kirbi are amazing people with phenomenal personalities and a true desire to meet everyones concerns. The price is reasonable, the gym is a great size, and the property is spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. My only critique is, I wish to see more overnight security as crime has been picking up as of late.

    I enjoyed living at metro Greenway for 8 months. I rented out a 2 bedroom unit & the price was ideal when splitting it by 2. It was facing the courtyard area which I enjoyed. Kirbi & Tiffany are great! They really know what they’re doing and are very helpful. The only thing I would have to say is that they were a few nights I wasn’t able to sleep, because we had a neighbor who had parties almost every weekend and they would sometimes get too noisy. Besides that, everything else was good enough for me!

    I have been here 3 years and would sign on for a fourth if I wasnt moving to Miami!1. Maintenace staff is super friendly, efficicent, and get to your maintenance requests within 1-3 days always.2. Safety - Staying on a level one apartment and staying safe through several floods and Hurricane Harvey is unbelievable. No flooding at all on first floor. Lower level garage got maybe an inch of water during the hurricane, but is dry now.3. Social events and fun pool scene - there are young professionals and a family mix. I like it. The complex throws a social event with food and drink maybe once a month4. Safety of mail - mail is kept safe at the front office until you have time to pick it up whenever.5. CON - you need a parking pass here. If you or a visitor do not have one or are parked in a reserved spot when it is not yours, YOU WILL BE TOWED

    This community isn’t perfect but what is. Problems happen but they have a great maintenance team. One of the best ones I’ve experienced.Great management. Responsive and understanding. Some things are out of their hands but I can tell they’re trying. And that means a lot. Community manager has been very helpful.Decent prices, great area.

    I have lived in several apartment complexes and I believe Metro Greenway is the best I have stayed in. There were issues in my apartment from time to time, but they always did their best to fix the issues immediately.It is a well maintained community. I would recommend to anyone.
